A watercolor coyote portrait created as part of an effort to practice wet-on-wet watercolor techniques. I'm particularly fond of the effects I was able to achieve in the background with the mixture of sage green, copper, and forest green tones.

Polar bears aren't actually white - their fur is transparent. The hair of a polar bear looks white because the air spaces in each hair scatter light of all colors.

Friend who passed away on September will have a birthday soon.

I remember when he told me about the rare lynx which was captured on a camera trap in our local jeseniky mountains in 2016. The photo was made at night and flesh illuminated his whole figure as he was a ghost. And nobody seen him since. It was a true spirit for us cause lynxes don’t inhabiting local ridges for a long time.

So this one is for you, my friend🎁. We miss you so much💔.
