Bour was just like casually bringing BATB into things as an Easter egg#since it was his first job in animation#and like don't get me wrong; I LOVE that he did this. I just don't know how he expected anyone (i.e. me) to be normal about it afterwards#once you've introduced BATB; it ceases to be a fun and casual reference and just makes the literature major girlies go feral#i thought this was gonna be a quick and easy little project but it wasn't#the parallels are all there but they're in slightly different order in EoA than the original and the pacing for each reference is differen#so i had to determine which ones I needed to skip frames for and which ones to use all the frames#and then try to figure out the speed from there#the coronation day scenes were very hard to color because the grey skies and muted filter kind of whitewash the characters#like you don't even understand i added so MUCH vibrance and saturation to the 4th and 5th gifs but elena's skin still is just gray#and the coloring is still just a very very mixed bag#also i've realized that while I don't think it was an intentional reference in the same way BATB was#anna's sacrifice and resurrection from frozen is perhaps just as --if not more-- a clear parallel to the coronation day scene than BATB#so maybe I will do that one someday too?#once i psych myself up again to try coloring coronation day again#which i imagine will be awhile#these do not look like the same scene and pretty much the same scene at all even if i tried to use the same psd when i could#and edit them to make the coloring as close as i could

If the Young Wolf officiated Crucible matches, I think their voicelines would be a mix between Gambit and Iron Banner (oof whiplash for the people used to Shaxx screaming encouragement. They get a significantly quieter handler they probably thought was a myth)
Like. It'd be smooth and have references to their accomplishments and your Class (Hold the line, Titan. Let them break on your shield.)
But also a darker tone ("They've fucked up." if you get heavy ammo, uncontested, or a simple "Let them run.") and a mixture of jokes/puns and ominous stuff based on subclass when you cast a super ("String em up, Hunter" if you're Threadrunner/"Heaven's heading to war" if you're a Dawnblade)
They'd definitely still get excited on a kill streak/ending one (They’re fighting over rubble until they get out of your way!)
Maybe if you got the We Ran Out Of Medals, they'd say something like "Now you're a queen/king I'd bow to" (i cannot forget when Mara expected them to bow and then gave up on it, back in Lost. i died)
I think they'd speak sort of like Saladin, but with a lighter tone (most times), and an audible smirk like Drifter.
Other lines I liked but left out:
You think I stayed under when Xol buried me? Get up and fight. (your team mercy'd)
Even Ghaul fell. (end someone's 20 killstreak)
Make 'em regret standing up to you. (match start)
Leave 'em in the grave they dug for you (1v3 elimination/survival)

Heavy breaths bounced off the closed door, warming the space around you. The thumps of your heart, loud enough to alert the other presence to your whereabouts.
“Where has my little lamb gone?” Her voice was laced with faux innocence, the heels of her boots clacked against the floor. The sound grew louder as she approached, almost mocking you. “Come out, come out, wherever you are”
For a moment there was silence, only the sound of your heavy breaths filled the air. The anticipation was terrifying, urging you to close your eyes and hope for the best. The closet doors open with such force, revealing blackened fingertips, glowing crimson eyes and the darkest grin gracing the woman’s lips.
“Wanda” Her name slipped off your tongue. You had heard the warnings but never truly listened. Now you were wishing that you had escaped when you had the chance.

A healthy practice I started implementing when coming back to simblr was not saving or liking early access cc when I see it. It keeps my consumerism in check and allows me a chance to forget about it, which my mods folder is thankful for.

okay so because previous anons asked about sex, I wanna ask about aftercare, how they act after sex? oh and i’m curious how their sex life change after being together for a while

their aftercare isn't always aftercare-101, if i'm honest. theo is very bad at it and doesn't really... ever... do that for matthias. and matthias may be very good at giving aftercare but theo is incredibly resistant to it. i mentioned earlier that theo really gets off on praise, but... he also flinches away from it. he's so twisted up about so much of what he wants and he's really, uh... well. he makes it really hard to get close to him and offer comfort despite how much he desires it. matthias can't say certain things without scaring theo off (and i mean, like, theo will quite literally run away), so he has to talk around what he wants to say and what theo needs to hear to prevent theo from bolting before he can bring him down.
matthias takes a long time cleaning theo up and massaging his muscles after, and he'll hum or talk to himself in polish so theo knows he's still there touching him (but isn't stirred before he comes to himself on his own by english he can understand). when he's finished, he'll ask theo very simple yes or no questions that let matthias know how theo's feeling without outright asking how he's feeling. he also checks on theo throughout the day, but he has to be even more subtle there or theo starts to feel smothered. is your body okay? do you want me to get you dressed? does your head hurt? do you want me to read to you? he focuses on asking about the physical and what theo wants to do rather than theo’s emotions. matthias has learned that asking if theo's feeling okay after is a quick way to trigger a very, very negative response in theo. it's one of the reasons why i think matthias is constantly asking theo in the heat of sex how he's feeling, because that's when theo is so preoccupied by the physical aspect that the emotional effects leak out without him fighting to keep them in. it takes a few months for theo to get comfortable with the feelings he has after sex with him before matthias can really give him proper aftercare. that’s why the sex they have early on is never anything too crazy. matthias coaxes theo into a better place first.
i also think it’s important to clarify that it’s not like they’re always having kinky sex. still, theo usually needs physical touch after vanilla sex as well. matthias himself always craves conversation afterwards, so he waits for theo to stir awake (because he often falls asleep after sex) or come back into his body fully to talk to him.
as for changes to their sex life after they’ve been together for awhile… i believe i've talked about this before, but their sexual dynamic turns on its head after a few years. theo starts to take control of the reins and gets more comfortable asking for and doing what he wants. with theo he just has a lot holding him back and it's only after he's grown as a person and worked past a majority of his intimacy issues that he can act on the desires he's been burying waaay down. there's a sort of brattiness that theo starts to have a lot of fun with during sex—a lot of pushing and prodding, withholding, insulting... matthias is having the time of his life lmao, like he loves being challenged and pushed around. matthias takes on a more submissive role during sex as they age, which is fun for him. plus it's kind of the dynamic they've always had outside of sex anyway. of course, there are never any set roles in their sexual life so i'm not saying that it's always like that, but theo enjoys telling matthias what to do and how to do it. they have a lot of fun with it.

AN EXCUSE TO SHOW THIS SCREENSHOT OF GO!TORAMARU
But also I have many thoughts about him. Idk how to start and which one should I say... I really flitted back and effort on this one. My thoughts about Toramaru are jumbled.
Toramaru is one of the characters that I found unique in terms of character growth and attitude. He really stands out for me in the series. And I love how much character he's shown in this one little scene during the match just by smiling at Endou where you can see both the child Toramaru from the earlier series that we know and how he matured. He no longer withold showing positive emotions as they are to look cool, he just shows them. And his smile just melted me when I first watched this... it was so precious. I'm glad he grew up the way he did and I wish we have seen more of him.
Okay, I settled with sharing my hc instead since I cant coherently express my opinion of him. I think Toramaru was able to make Toranoya grow! I think, at this time when he's already in the national's team for the world cup (yeah i really think so), they have three branches of Toranoya in Tokyo alone and was considering getting one in other prefectures.
In his free time and for old time's sake, he sometimes delivers some of the orders himself as he drives with their scooter delivery bike. He cant drive their semi though

Fallout New Vegas Live-Blog Part 7
I explored Vault 34, freed the trapped Vault dwellers inside and then gave Vault 21 the Vault 34 Jumpsuits! Which resulted in me becoming idolized by The Strip.
I collected 50 Star Sunset Sarsaparilla bottle caps!!! The Pew Pew gun is a cool prize but I was hoping for something more after all that work (ᴑ͝ᴗᴑ͝ ‘) . . .
In order to earn 5 points to unlock Arcade's Quest (which only activates after I install Yes Man) I took him to a BUNCH of different places.
One of those place being The Fort. I was VERY surprised speaking with Ceaser. He was yet wasn't what I expected (๑´ㅂ`๑) if that makes sense.
It was shocking to learn he grew up as a member of the Followers of the Apocalypse.
Ceaser was PISSED about the Khans, "The Great Khans aren't exactly clamoring to fight for my Legion now."
Also this conversation had my heart racing:
Ceaser: "So tell me this, because I really want to know. I am feared- with good reason. But you- of all people- dare to come here and stand before me, the mighty Ceaser. What were you thinking?"
My Courier: "You guaranteed my safety."
Ceaser: "And you fell for that? Really? Because I'm going to have you killed now."
My Courier: ( ⚆ _ ⚆)
Ceaser: " . . . Relax. I'm fucking with you."
I went to Mr. House's secret bunker expecting this intense GIANT fight but all I did was hack the terminals and peaceful walk inside. I upgraded the Securitrons AND LOOK AT THE CUTIES!!!!
THERES SO MANY!!!!!
When finished I lied to Ceaser and left.
(ভ_ ভ) Now it was time to get Boone's Quest.
I like Boone but getting all the five points for his Quest is an absolute nightmare.
For one point I went back to Camp McCarran and without the NCR noticing I killed Silus.
I rescued the hostages at Nelson (but did not turn in the Quest for recognition) which gave me 2 points.
Then bought and rescued the Slaves at Cottonwood Cove. This line was disgusting: "The girl's the only one of real value, young enough to breed, not hideous to look at. What's your offer for the lot?"
After stealing some information and planting a bug it unlocked the Eye for an Eye Quest. Which has you kill all Legionaries at Cotton Cove. For doing that Quest for Boone get two more points.
Reaching 5 points I could do his Quest called I Forgot to Remember to Forget is Boone's Quest. Which I guess is named after an Elvis Presley song.
We go to Bitter Springs where he opens up about what happened. Legionaries then begin invading the town and together we protected it.
My Courier then helps Boone begin to repent.
It was really nice helping Boone because my Courier has similar feelings over hurting the Khans.
She passes on the lesson of having to live with what you did as being your punishment. While also using your regrets to help set you on a better path. It's a nice moment between the two especially afterwards when Boone opens up about what happened to his wife.
ALSO TELL ME WHY THIS HAPPENED AFTER!!!!
BOONE ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!?!?!?!
I was SUPER pissed seeing my reputation change to idolized. However I didn't realize at the time that Boone was doing me a solid.
My dumbass returned to an older save file, killed a bunch of NCR and then had my NCR reputation after Boone's Quest turn to Wild Child.
I didn't know this but . . . one of Yes Man's Quests requires a good reputation with the NCR. So everything you're seeing below I had to do twice.
The things I do for you Yes Man . . .
I redid Boone’s Quest and afterwards became Idolized by the NCR. My plan is to destroy my reputation for the NCR and The Strip after doing the Quest for Yes Man.
(o ´ ◡ ` )o I helped Joana and Carlitos escape for free! I wanted to show them that there's still good in the world and to pass it on. Also my Courier has a soft spot for anything involving romance/love.
Then I investigated the Omertas and proceeded to kill them all. Creating snuff films, partnering with Ceaser and their treatment of their employees.
It was disgusting they needed to die.
One of my favorite weapons in the game is the Sawed-Off Shotgun. It's SO SATISFYING running up to people and blowing their heads off in one sweep.
Weirdly enough killing all the Omertas Thugs and Leaders doesn't change your reputation with The Strip.
From there I informed Yes Man who was EXTREMELY PROUD OF MEEEEEE!!!!!!
From there it was time to confront Mr. House.
Seeing Victor's face on one of the Securitrons shooting at her totally didn't make my Courier extremely sad.
(｡•́︿•̀｡) I felt kinda bad . . . killing Mr. House.
Also I was SHOCKED to learn Mr. House knew of Yes Man. If this game had been much longer it would've been SO INTERESTING to hear his more in-depth thoughts on him!!!
I think about what would’ve happened if My Courier had never met Yes Man ALL THE TIME!!!!
If she had instead killed Benny inside the Top Presidential Suite. Never entering Benny’s suite and meeting Yes Man. How she would've ended up siding with Mr. House because of the Securitrons. It’s very fun imagining the "Bad Ending" for My Courier. Along with her relationship with Mr. House. They would’ve had an . . . odd dynamic. I'm SO EXCITED to watch the Mr. House Route when I'm finished.
Then I informed Yes Man about Mr. House's death AND YIPPPPEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(⸝⸝⸝◉⸝⸝⸝◉⸝⸝⸝)♡ HIS REACTIONS WERE SO CUTE!!!!!! ESPECIALLY WHEN TRYING TO TALK TO HIM ON THE WAY TO THE LUCKY 38!!!!

Thought about how given I’ve written so much for getter and rotate enough in my brain I could make hypothetical “how to write this characters” post if those even exists until I remember the factors of:
<the status of the tags doesn’t warrant a lot of writers as is and the only person to ask me this was a irl
<I don’t wanna be gatekeepy even if I wouldn’t put my bias into it
<who the fuck would it really be about besides ryoma and maybe hayato bc honest to god just grasping the team dynamic of the getter will make you be able to understand each individual pilot
<I doubt myself I even write 100% in character despite what I’m told 💀
#meg text#getter robo#fanfic rambles#this came about because I’m so particularly picky about how ryoma is portrayed and while I haven’t seen many awful interpretations#my brain loves to imagine scenarios where someone writes him quirky and I feel myself die inside#for awhile I hated how SRW wrote him but on reflection he’s good! just armas plot never being adapted is a off put#like it’s nice they show him not being just a angry dude because they be more flanderize but it’s weird that it’s ARMA#(even if yeah he has more then four friends this time but it’s still weird)#as for hayato i remembered I thought I had no grasp of his character until I realized “wait I write him not repressing”#*pokes mr Jin with a stick* if canon won’t explore all your emotions I WILL#but these two fucks aside while everyone has their own depth yeah its- just a matter of team dynamics#like obvs go and arc team aren’t copy n paste of OG but they fall under similar traits and intended parallels#the only character I remember I struggled to write for a bit was arma!go but the key thing is to make him not speak a lot#which depending on your story it’s nice to have a weird quiet dude in the flow of a giant conversation 💀#but for characters like- Michiru who isn’t new?? Go crazy#flesh her out however the fuck

I'm deeply sick with something, not sure what, but it's not great. And today is the day I decided to walk 28,000 steps. When I can hardly breathe. Due to the sick.
#'decide' is a strong word#i walk dogs as a side hustle#and on Wednesdays i walk a dog twice. and he lives a mile away. and the walk is about a mile#whoch ends up being six miles of walking on Wednesdays. and in addition i had to do some other walking for errands#which ended up beong 28000 steps#thats ridiculous. thats like. a personal best. and i did it while barely able to breathe#now im laying in bed because i cant even sit up#strange. i wonder why i dont have the energy to sit up#that amount of steps wouldve drained me On A Normal Day#then imagine beong on your third day of sickness. walking that much. and thinking youll be okay#god im sleepy. i need some water#and then i have about 25 minutes left in the novella im reading#maybe ill read myself to sleep#but i feel like i wont recover from this for awhile. i feel like my body may be giving out

#cherry chats#or just. get me food. pleeeeeeeease im asking so niceys#i didnt. get any food today Cause they freaking forgot me#which. shoulnt be a problem because im almost 19 i should be able to make food for myself#but. as it turns out. i canttttt#and anyway i like to imagine papyrus cooking for me because he loves cooking and i think making food is how he shows he cares 4 ppl…..#or one way at least#blegh. anyway im not gonna go full vent mode on here because who give a shit but. it also makes me feel so STUPID 4 not being able to do#like. basic stuff like feeding myself#so. i think papyrus would like making me stuff to eat and also encouraging me about it#also. hed be good at forcing me to eat in a way that doesnt make me feel bad#ive talked about this before but i feel guilty when i tell people i havent eaten in awhile so i lie and stuff…..#like ‘oh i ate not too long ago so im fine’ and then#‘not long ago’ means like. 3 days.#and it makes me feel guilty and makes other people worry and then THEY feel guilty cause they cant really do anything#but papyrus is cool and awesome and smart so he doesnt make me admit it out loud and he makes me eat stuff even when i dont wanna#but. in a way that doesnt make me feel bad either. hes a master of psychological manipulation But like good#like. i tried a new recipe and you HAVE to taste it and tell me what u think or ill look sooo sad and dejected ^__^#blarfgh. anyway -_-#i wish my cool awesome bffsie papyrus was here to make me awesome food

Overall? Happy. (I have had worst luck from this game so I can’t complain too much…) My memo luck stays thriving, slot luck about the same as usual. But I needed a little more light unit MP boost and Duo units are my fav units in game (and we haven’t had once since Nayuta & Mikage I think) soooo I be happy I got the lesbians

What would you think, if, after getting advice from Iroh, Zuko and the gang travel to the spirit world in order to find Aang’s people so that Aang can teach the air acolytes more about the air nomads? But Zuko gets attacked by a poisonous spirit and reverts back to pre Season 2 Zuko after losing some of his memories due to the poison fogging his mind. Zuko is confused and doesn’t know why he’s firelord. The gang try to explain things to him, but it only causes him to become even more confused. Aang and the gang then leave Zuko behind to spend more time with the air acolytes. While they’re gone, Zuko is very uncertain about what to do, but soon corrupt advisors convince him to restart the war. Zuko doesn’t remember his friendship with Aang, but he hears that he once joined Aang, so Zuko assumes that Aang once brainwashed him into joining team Avatar and turning against his Father. Zuko intends to be a much greater firelord than his father, and he and his army raid the air acolyte settlement in their airships in order to hunt down Aang once again, and end up burning down the settlement. Aang and the gang wonder why Zuko chose to hunt them down again. Aang eventually comes to the conclusion that Zuko backslid due to bad advice from his advisors and because he lost some of his memories. Aang then travels the nations looking for a cure to help restore Zuko’s memories.
Azula escapes from the mental institute and Zuko sends bounty hunters after her to capture her. Soon, Azula gets bitten by a snake, so she finds help in the village of Jang Hui where she is healed by two waterbenders, who are taking refuge there. Jang Hui is the village Katara helped in The Painted Lady. And the villagers aren’t on good terms with the firelord. The villagers accept her and assume that she’s on their side because she’s made an enemy of the Firelord. The villagers teach Azula how to heal people using firebending techniques inspired by water bending, and she ends up becoming a fisherwoman because it’s a fishing town. She starts to warm up to the town, but one day she overhears the waterbenders talking about sneaking out to sabotage the smelting factory(which is currently undergoing reconstruction) in order to help the villagers. Azula offers to join their mission, and the three sneak out to destroy the factory, but she betrays the waterbenders over to the fire nation in hopes that she might bring glory to the fire nation. But now that the waterbenders are captured and eliminated, the town is defenseless. Zuko’s army burns the town down leaving few survivors. Zuko didn’t exactly authorize the attack, but he did give his generals permission to do whatever it takes to stop the villagers from trying to halt the rebuilding of the factory used for the war effort. A few survive and declare revenge on Azula for what she did.
Azula starts to feel terrible about betraying the people who saved her life and indirectly causing the village to be destroyed, since she didn’t know it would be destroyed. And she holds Zuko partially responsible for destroying the village. After wandering around, Azula looks through a telescope and sees Aang try to save a fire nation village from a volcano, and she also sees Zuko. Zuko does nothing after his corrupt advisors tell him to leave the village, saying that Aang will probably die, so Zuko runs away. But Aang manages to save the village from the erupting volcano. Azula gets accepted into the gang when she uses her new healing abilities to heal Aang, who is wounded by the volcano. They reluctantly team up to stop Zuko.
After wandering around the Earth Kingdom to look for a cure for Zuko's memory loss, the gang sees a massive stream of fire pour down from a few fire nation airships hovering above a village. The stream of fire burns the village to the ground, leaving few survivors. It turns out that fire nation scientists developed a highly addictive serum that can increase the fire power of any fire Bender. The downside is that prolonged use of the serum results in loss of the senses, and eventually death. Senses such as taste, smell, sight, touch, and hearing. Zuko intends take the serum and lead a fleet of airships to finish what his Dad started by burning the Earth Kingdom to the ground. After learning what Zuko intends to do, even Aang feels tempted to give up on him.
it's an interesting concept, but i have a few critiques.
first, if the gaang knows zuko lost his memory, why would they leave him in the first place? and even if they did that, surely there'd be somebody in the palace who could say "hey firelord zuko maybe don't restart the war dude wtf" or at least alert the gaang or something.
second, i've seen a lot of people try to have azula's redemption involve learning some kind of healing, and i gotta say, it very very rarely does anything for me. for starters, it (probably unintentionally) reinforces the northern water tribe's ideology that healing is inherently for women (the show admittedly also did this bc the only named male waterbender who uses any kind of healing in any canon that i'm aware of is unalaq). moreover, it's not something i think azula would be particularly good at or have much interest in.
also, why are there waterbenders in jang hui? it's a fire nation village. you said they were taking refuge, but from what, and why there? on top of that, azula knows zuko is firelord and doesn't know he's lost his memories, so why would she assume betraying the waterbenders to the fire nation would bring it glory? if she just broke out of the asylum, then the last time she saw zuko was when he and katara fought her during the agni kai.
third, if zuko lost his memory to a "poisonous" (???) spirit in the spirit world, why are they searching the earth kingdom for a cure? shouldn't they be looking in the spirit world? aang's the avatar, and iroh's gotten in before, so it shouldn't be the hardest thing in the world.
fourth, if zuko lost all his memories of books 2 and 3, he shouldn't know about ozai's plan to burn everything to the ground, since that wasn't established until after he returned to the fire nation with azula, mai, and ty lee.
finally, even before book 1 began, zuko was deeply loyal to his people, balking at the mere idea of sacrificing newbie soldiers for the sake of a win, so i can't fathom a world where zuko is ok with burning down jang hui (a fire nation village) just cuz.
i'm not trying to say there's no potential here, you have some very interesting ideas, but there's a lot that doesn't really work for me.
(to be fair tho i'm not a huge fan of anything involving much of the air acolytes bc i frankly could not give less of a fuck about them. i don't hate them or anything they just don't mean anything to me)
#atla#it's an interesting concept#but honestly as described here it's more confusing than anything else#also the whole premise relies on the idea that zuko blindly listens to what people tell him to do#which is something he's never once managed ever in his life#also the whole ''let's burn everything to the ground'' was something zuko wasn't remotely ok with#bc unlike azula he hasn't been raised to believe that the right thing to say is whatever makes dad proud of you#he HAS been raised to believe that paternal love has to be earned through blood sweat and tears#but if he knew ozai was in prison then obviously the best way to get his favor would be to let him out and reinstate him as firelord#which would be. very confusing to ozai#imagine just sitting in prison and then your son storms in and tells you he's freed himself of brainwashing and you can be in charge again#then imagine having to explain that the avatar can take away bending now but you'd be happy to help him rule from the shadows#since clearly your daughter wasn't of any use#...actually i think you have the start of a really good toxic father-son bonding experience that absolutely nobody wanted#having said that my biggest piece of advice is to cut the serum idea entirely#it makes no sense in the established atla world#they haven't even got antibiotics over there yet#it'll be awhile before they're inventing super soldier serums to create captain fire nation or whatever#also i'm curious what advice iroh gave that prompted all of this#aang doesn't need to go into the spirit world he has all the previous air avatars on psychic speed dial#oh and why would jang hui hate zuko?#katara definitely would've pushed him to send them help#also they apparently became famous for their seafood after the war#so zuko would probably be pretty well liked by them#again it isn't a bad idea it just needs a lot of workshopping#bc right now it raises way more questions than it seems intent on answering
