soooo I heard the ceo of tumblr a massive transphobe and while I hate to abandon ship over that given I used twitter even post “muskrat taking over” it has me very mixed so I have to consider wtf imma do next as I don’t really have a strong desire to move to Bluesky even if I have a account and everyone else is using it- but uh this is a good time to add me on discord bc this is where I’m camped out a lot of the time anyways.

I’ve ranted about in the past before I was dragged back into the premium mega man worms im having that it’s a bit harder to explain to people compared to getter even if it’s not complicated but it dawned on me just now that trying to cohesively describe every mega man series to someone in just a few sentences is harder than explaining “what’s a super robot vs a real robot?” and going into the can of worms of the general mecha sub genres by factoring in androids-
how does this happen 😭

History: Her purpose when she was created was to control the adepts with her songs by empowering their seventh, however, she lacked the potency and power to carry out this, so she was treated as a failure, she is the counterpart of Nyx and was modified in a way that her singing would void Nyx's contract.
Creation: Originally it is a seventh projection through an AI.
Personality: Yuuna was supposed to lack personality, but she acquired it through outside influence, she acts mostly like a teenage girl, being naive although she can store knowledge quickly, she is gentle, kind and cares for many, especially those adepts. influenced by Nyx.
Abilities: As a muse, she can use her Song of Diva to revive the fallen.
Purgatory: She Purges the effects of Nyx's song on other adepts.

The only thing I’m hesitant about is if I do make in depth mega man post is I’m low key afraid to be hostile even if I’m having this moment of self awareness by that fact- it’s just a lot of the awful takes I’ve seen in the fandom stuck with me and I wanna give my two cents to how dumb some of them are but I have to also remember the tumblr environment of the fandom is probably the exact opposite of what I’m use to it given it was fucking twitter so the fandom is probably far *less* hostile here so I gotta like not be a massive dick/overly defensive about something I like when no one trying to beef with me anyways.

Yes I’m making this an entire poll because I’m super fucking indecisive and already being conflicted on doing multiple things so I’m gonna ask people. As of rn I only have two blogs, this current one and my art blog-which is @megdrawsiguess if you wanna follow-and while I don’t necessarily need more I’m low key considering it for mega man cause compared to all my other side interests I think it’s such a big interest that it needs to be separated. (That or maybe I’m just embarrassed posting on a mecha/retro anime blog when most people following me don’t know it despite it being based on a lot of that stuff, idk)
