3|Hold Me ♡
The bathroom was foggy and heated as Julianna stared back at her reflection. Her skin glistened under the light as she stood in nothing but a white fluffy robe Jaehyun had left out for her.
She was tired, it was evident in her face. But not just from the lack of sleep but from life in general. All she wanted to do was to get away for a while to ease her mind and not think for once. To maybe feel some type of peace if she could.
Not even in her dreams she had that type of pleasure.
Shit, maybe she just needed to get some good dick to fuck her worries away, even if it was only a temporary fix. Either way, lord knows she's been craving it for weeks. Her body desired to be catered to. Maybe then the peaceful sleep she's been wanting would actually happen.
Shaking her head, Julianna began to wonder if her sister was even worried about her. If maybe she was out looking for her.
"Yeah right." Julianna snorted, pushing away from the sink. It wouldn't even surprise her if Adonis told her not to even bother. But then again, he didn't want Julianna to go anywhere either. He liked how he had control over every part of Mia's life and was slowly trying to do the same with her.
God, she couldn't stand him.
Reaching up, she removed the towel she had wrapped around her braids, letting them fall freely around her face. "I like your hair like that." Spoke a voice from seemingly out of nowhere. Julianna visibly jumped when she heard it because she didn't realize she was no longer alone.
Looking behind her, she watched Jaehyun step inside the bathroom, making his presence known. "How long have you been there?"
Releasing a low chuckle, Jaehyun grinned showcasing those dimples of his. "Don't worry, I wasn't watching you. I just came in to check on you." He reassures her, sensing that she was still a bit nervous around him which he understood completely. "I left you some undergarments and PJs on the bed. They should be your correct size."
Folding her arms under her breast, she stared back at him with slightly narrowing eyes. "And how do you know my size?"
Jaehyun remained silent as he took his time to look her over from head to toe before meeting her accusing gaze. "By looking at you." He states rather bluntly. "You can change and meet me in the kitchen or keep on the robe, whatever makes you comfortable." He encourages then disappears back into the darkened bedroom, leaving Julianna alone once more.
Licking her lips, she released a breath she didn't know she was holding. She couldn't pinpoint it but there was just something so mysterious about him. She knew nothing about him other than his first name and that he clearly had money but that was it. No last name. No information about what he does. Who he was. Where he was from...nothing.
Yet here she was alone in his condo with no phone or personal information of her own on her. How fuckin dumb could she be?
Stepping out of the bathroom and into the bedroom which she assumed was his because it smelled just like him, Julianna chose to stay in her robe for now and made her way towards his kitchen as he instructed.
Jaehyun's place was nice and...manly. It seemed cozy but definitely brand new as if he had just moved in not long ago. "Here, drink this. You'll need it." He advises, placing a steaming cup in front of her. "And no I didn't put anything in it, you have my word." He adds, seeing her open her mouth to ask.
She playfully rolled her eyes but picked up the cup and gave it a quick sip, ignoring the burn to her tongue. "What is this? It tastes different but sweet." She comments before taking another sip, loving how warm it was going down her throat.
Leaning on his forearms against the counter across from her, Jaehyun smiled as she sipped on his one of his favorite drinks. "Chamomile tea with extra honey. It'll help relax you and sleep better. You seem like you could use some good rest."
"I looked that bad huh?" Julianna chuckles softly, placing her almost empty cup back down.
Jaehyun shook his head. "Physically no, you don't. However, your body language is screaming for you to relax." He reveals to her. From the night at the park where he had first seen her high as a kite to spotting her again standing soaking wet with nothing on her, he could tell she was trying to run from something. Something that always seemed to leave her restless.
And for some reason, he wanted to help with that...and with whatever else Julianna may need. He just had to be smart about it.
"Why were you there that night I saw you at the park?" Julianna suddenly blurts out, letting her curiosity get the best of her.
"I was there on family business." He answered simply. Keeping his response short and vague but of course that wasn't enough for her.
"Are you a drug dealer?"
Tilting his head slightly to the left, he eyed her curiously. "Why would you think that?"
"Honestly? You seem like one. The clothes. The car. The money that you clearly have. Plus you were in the middle of the hood that we both know you've never lived in." Julianna lists off, seeing no point in beating around the bush, She was determined to get answers before the night was over with.
Looking off to the side for a bit, Jaehyun stared back at Julianna for a good ten seconds. "A little bit but not quite. I was there as a favor for my father. He's an...entrepreneur of some sort and from time to time I help him out on the business side of things."
"Are you a drug lord?"
"No, but my father is...kinda."
Julianna eyed him, trying to figure out if he was lying or not. "Right. So what exactly do you do?"
Jaehyun could only smirk at the beautiful woman in front of him. He loved how she wasn't afraid to ask him anything. He enjoyed it. "To put in simple words...when there is a problem, I come and fix it."
"Fix it how Jaehyun?"
"I like that." He professes, eyes darkening as he stared back at her. "Say my name again."
"Jaehyun." Julianna quickly obliges watching him closely.
"I give them a warning..."
"And if they don't do what is expected?"
"They die." He says truthfully. Seeing no point in hiding what was obvious.
"By your hands?"
Leaning up to his full height, Jaehyun crossed his arms over his chest. "Sometimes...yes. Does that bother you?"
Downing the rest of her tea, Julianna pushed the now empty cup back towards him while wiping her mouth clean. "No. I'm used to living amongst killers." She confesses, thinking of one in particular.
"Is that why you didn't want to go back home?"
Placing her chin into the palm of her hand, her eyes teared away from his and onto his sleek countertops. "Yes. And it's not my home. It's just a place where i lay my head from time to time." She briefly explains, lowkey hating how she literally had no place of her own like she wanted.
"I see. Well, you're more than welcome to stay here for as long as you like. I'm barely here as I'm sure you've noticed." Jaehyun states, noticing the way she paid attention to not only him but her surroundings as well.
"Why are you being so nice to me? You don't even know me." She may have sounded a bit irritated but it wasn't Julianna's intention. She was just weary of a stranger's kindness. She wasn't used to it.
"Because as I told you before Julianna, I'm here to be whatever you need me to be. That's solely up to you as to what that may be." Jaehyun voices, going back to the night they first met at the park. She clearly needed someone and he was willing to fill that void for her.
Julianna smirked a little at that. She could probably use him for a lot of things but that wasn't who she was.
Instead, she asked him something that sounded so foreign leaving her mouth. "If I asked you to fuck me, you would?"
"Depends."
"On?"
"If you wouldn't mind cumming on my tongue and my dick..." He informs her in the most silken tone Julianna had ever heard.
Standing to her feet, Julianna could feel her pussy throb with need with what she just heard...however, she wasn't ready to cross that road just yet. "That sounds tempting but for now, can you hold me until I fall asleep?"
"Of course." Jaehyun nods, following close behind Julianna as she made her way towards his bedroom. It was still dark, with the only light coming from the bathroom until he turned it off and closed the door.
Removing her robe, Julianna pulled back the comforter and slid underneath, with Jaehyun doing the same. Pulling her close to him, Jaehyun wrapped his arms tightly around her, leaving no space between them as he lay behind her. She felt nice in his embrace and her quiet sniffles didn't go unnoticed.
Nuzzling his head into the crook of her neck, he placed soft kisses along her skin until he felt her relax against him. And although she didn't know him, she had no clue she was in the safest place she had ever been.

It was the clash of thunder in the distance that made Julianna finally snap back into reality.
With her hand covering her stinging cheek, her watery eyes stared back into her sisters brown orbs with an unreadable look spread across her pretty face. "J-juli...I'm sor-"
"Why Mia? Why would you accept it when you know what that means for us?" Julianna softly questions, swiftly cutting off her sister's attempt to apologize.
Biting her lip as she shook her head, Mia looked away from her younger sister's icy gaze and focused on the darkened sky above them. "Because Juli, I can't escape him, I've tried. You know I have. But he's changed, I know he has. We have a daughter now and you know how much I always wanted to be married and I...I'm tired of fighting the inevitable,"
"He will never change," Julianna retorts back, feeling a drop of rain hit against her exposed shoulder. "And now he owns us,"
"You can leave Juli, no one is keeping you here," Mia smartly reminds her, allowing her eyes to settle on her younger sister once more. Her beautiful features reminded her so much of their deceased mother.
Releasing a humorless laugh through her nose, Julianna bawled up her fist in frustration. "You and Aubrey are all I have left. If I leave, you know I won't be allowed to come back. I'm not you Mia. I actually think before I make decisions that could affect me in the long run,"
Julianna knew she could just pack her things and never look back but it wasn't that simple. Nothing ever was with the type of man her sister chose to marry. If there was one thing that Julianna has come to know about Adonis in the four years that her sister has been with him was that he loved being in control. The power that he had over Mia was almost nauseating. She was his own personal puppet to use at his will and Julianna hated it.
"Look, I get that you don't like him but he's a part of this family now. I love him, Juli, I really do. Just...let me be happy. Please," Mia pleaded, wishing that for once Julianna would finally accept reality. "I need you here and so does Aubrey," She added knowing how much Julianna loved her niece.
"Happy? How can you be happy with the person who to-"
"Stop!" Mia quickly rushed out. "Don't....please," She pleaded with watery eyes. The words that were about to leave her sister's mouth were the absolute last words she wanted to hear, especially today. "Why can't you just be happy for me Juli? I'm finally getting the happy ending I deserve,"
Julianna could only shake her head. Mia was so lost.
How that man managed to manipulate and wrap her mind into believing he actually gave a fuck about her or their daughter was beyond what Julianna could comprehend because it literally made no fucking sense.
"The day you say I do to him...he will never let you go," Julianna made sure to heavy emphasis on the word never because it was true. Adonis was a powerful businessman, an angry and money-hungry businessman.
And her sister just handed him her soul for the sake of a false fairytale that would never exist as long as she would remain his doormat.
"And that's what I want. There's nothing else out there for me...he made sure of that. Remember?" Mia reminds her as her frown deepens even more. "I literally have nowhere else to go and neither do you,"
With every word her sister spoke, Julianna could feel her anger level rise. The hostility she felt towards her last flesh and blood shouldn't have been like this nor run this deep. "How could I? You made the choice for me..."
Waving her hand in a dismissive manner, Julianna turned and walked away, ignoring her name being called. The skies above her seemed to darken even more, almost seeming to mimick how she was feeling.
Life has been so unfair and she hated being here living it.
Happiness wasn't a feeling she had the pleasure of experiencing too much of if any at all.
Misery was her best friend.
All she wanted was a sense of peace. Even if it was temporary she would cherish it while she could.
Soon Julianna found herself walking along the slightly busy streets with no real destination in mind as long as it was far away from her sister and her new fiancé. Just the thought made her sick to her stomach.
Being too deep into her own thoughts, Julianna ignored the light rain that hit against her skin until a heavy rainfall seemed to come out of nowhere, pulling her from her thoughts almost immediately. "Shit!" she huffed, running as quick as she could in her heeled covered feet to get out of the rain.
In seconds she was drenched and eventually found refuge by standing under a random building entryway. She found herself silently cussing at forgetting her phone and her purse back at the restaurant. Now she was stuck with no way to call anyone to come to get her.
Julianna wasn't sure how long she stood there, watching as the heavy rain hit against the pavement. Her mind was in somewhat of a daze that she didn't even notice a figure standing little ways from her until they decided to let their presence known.
"I thought I warned you about being alone?" Spoke a familiar voice that caused Julianna to almost jump out of her skin.
"What the fuck?!" She screeched, taking a step back as she eyed the smirking man beside her.
"You're soaking," Jaehyun observes, looking over her wet hair and clothes. "Did you not leave the house without an umbrella?" He questions, holding up his own.
"I didn't plan for a walk, so no, I didn't bother to grab one,"
Jaehyun hummed in response. "Do you need a ride home?" He offers, seeing that she also seemed to not have any of her personal items on her. It didn't take much to put two and two together.
"Thanks but I'll be ok. The rain will stop soon," She declines, folding her arms to keep herself from shivering.
"You have my word Julianna, I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to help," He just finished having dinner when he stepped out and spotted her standing alone. He didn't even think of how much of a coincidence that he saw her again but he wasn't going to question it.
Looking at Jaehyun, Julianna thought about how odd it was that he was nearby. She didn't think he was stalking her or anything but the fact that they both were at the same place at the same time made her brain hurt.
"Okay," She finally agrees, knowing her options were limited. "Lead the way,"
Opening up his umbrella, Jaehyun held out his free hand and waited for Julianna to grab ahold of it before he led the way back across the street and towards a sleek BMW. Opening the passenger side door, he helped Julianna inside and ran to his side, quickly sliding inside before tossing the umbrella in the backseat.
Taking a quick glance at Julianna, Jaehyun saw her visibly shiver causing him to immediately switch on the heat to give her some sort of comfort. "Thank you," She tells him, giving him a small smile as their eyes met, He was being so kind and she appreciated it greatly.
"Of course," Jaehyun nods in return. "Do you mind if I...." He trails off, pointing at the seatbelt indicating what he meant.
Julianna gave him a knowing look but sat back and allowed him to do what he asked. She watched as he leaned towards her and reached for the seatbelt, giving her a whiff of his masculine scent for a few seconds before moving away to buckle her in.
Out of habit, Julianna licked her lips once he was done, feeling a burst of butterflies erupt in her stomach at something so small. "So where am I going?" He asks, putting his own seatbelt on and push-starting his car.
For a brief moment, Julianna really took the time to just take him in. Everything from his red button-up with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, the black slacks he wore, the shoes on his feet to the watch on his wrist looked expensive. He looked expensive. Even when her eyes moved towards his face, a face that was nothing short of perfection, she felt so out of place seating next to him.
"Julianna..." And his voice...it was like a sweet symphony she knew she'd never get tired of hearing.
Blinking, Julianna snapped out of her daze and cleared her throat, feeling a bit embarrassed at what had just occurred. "I-..." She begin, cutting her words short realizing that she really didn't want to go back home where she knew her sister and her owner would be waiting.
Sensing her hesitancy, Jaehyun assumed it was because she didn't want him to know where she lived but that couldn't be the furthest from the truth. "I could get you a room for the night, if that's what you prefer," He offers, wanting her to at least be somewhere comfortable.
"I know what you're thinking but that's not why. I just...I just don't want to go home tonight and...I don't want to be alone either," She confesses, hoping he'd catch what she was hinting at. Lately, she hasn't been in the mood to be around anyone she knew. In fact, she wished she could just get away for a while. She needed it.
Like Julianna, for the first time since she got into the car, Jaehyun took the time to really look her over. And just like the night they met, she was just as beautiful. Except now, she was all wet which caused the dress she wore to fit snugly against her moist skin. Making her look a little bit more sensual than usual.
"I see," He voices, picking up what she meant. "Is there anything you need before we go?"
"Besides clothes, no," She chuckles softly, not believing the choices she's been making. For all she knew this man could be a killer. But in her defense, she's been living with one already.
Julianna watched Jaehyun smile as he pulled out his phone and sent a quick text to whoever he was talking to. "I got it handled. Are you ready?"
"Very."

♖❤♖❤ ♖
Sipping liquor from a plastic cup while sitting on a swing in a park at midnight was the last place Julianna expected to find a sense of peace, but she welcomed it greatly. Not to mention she was as high as a kite from consuming an illegal substance that came in the magic form of Blue Mystic.
If it weren’t for her stressed state of mind, she wouldn’t have allowed her friends to drag her to a party so suddenly but with her current situation back at home, she was grateful.
Cool nightly winds whipped around her as she sighed out in relief, leaning her head against the metal chain of the swing she occupied. She could still hear the music faintly in the background where the party was being held just down the street with no intention of stopping till the sun came up.
Julianna had left her friends moments ago just to get some much-needed air from the crowded house. Her eardrums were still ringing from all the loud voices and heavy bassed hip hop that beat down on her canal since the moment she arrived. She had managed to stay around for an hour before she had enough and needed some space, soon finding herself in the empty park.
Plus the moment her eyes landed on Andres, her feet seemed to move to the nearest exit without her knowledge.
He was the last person she was trying to see, much less talk to.
Subconsciously, she had run her free hand over her cheek at the fresh scar that graced her skin. One that was given to her all because he didn’t know how to control one of his bitches.
It was as if at every turn of her life she was only faced with negativity. A constant reminder of how unhappy she truly was. Instead of traveling the world and experiencing things that most people her age should, she was stuck in the same city, surrounded by the same people after being put in a situation she didn’t ask for.
Shit was unfair…but what could she do?
Sighing loudly, Julianna placed the plastic cup to her lips, taking a long swing of the clear liquor, shivering at the intense taste as it burned going down her throat.
Fixing her gaze to the darkening sky above with a few twinkling stars, she didn’t hear someone come up from behind her. It wasn’t until the squeak of the swing next to her caught her attention that she realized she was no longer alone. Too high to panic or feel fear, under low lids she glanced to the figure beside her, smiling slightly at what she saw.
Her red eyes seemed to slowly take him in under the glow of a single light that was a little ways from the swing set. He was…handsome and disgustingly so. Julianna felt as if she had only been used to seeing someone like him on tv in those foreign dramas that her friend introduced her to. The type of handsome that could have only been hand sculpted by God himself.
She almost didn’t believe that he was real until he begins to speak with a voice that was nothing short of serene. “It’s dangerous being out so late, especially alone,” He states, gripping the chains as those obsidian orbs studied her face.
Julianna shrugged, turning her attention to her beverage. “Maybe…but I can handle myself though,” She replied once she swallowed, shaking the cup to see that it was almost empty.
He hummed lowly at her response. “Would you mind if I kept you company for a few minutes?” He asked, slowly feeling himself drown in the beauty of her. This was the last place he needed to be but the moment his eyes landed on her lone figure, he couldn’t stop himself from heading in her direction out of pure curiosity.
“With a face like yours, how could I say no?” She answered him honestly, allowing her intoxicated state to speak words that she would never say if she was sober. “You’re not from around here…” She quietly observed, giving him her undivided attention.
“It’s that obvious, huh?” He grinned, admiring the way her glossed lips seemed to shine in the most inviting way. The itch to know what they would feel like against his own had been steadily rising since he approached her.
“Well…” She begins, giving him a once over in his all-black fitted suit before landing on his face once more. “A well kept Asian man in the middle of the hood filled with black and brown faces who’ve known each other for most of their lives…you definitely stick out here,” She giggled.
“Maybe I’m new to the neighborhood,” He states, earning a soft smile.
“Trust me, Vice City is the place people try to get away from, not move to…especially willingly,” Unfortunately for Julianna’s case, it felt like she would be stuck here forever, simply because she would feel guilty if she left.
Shaking her head, she downed the rest of her drink, wishing she could just teleport to a better place than this. “You say that but you’re still here…” Being in dangerous areas wasn’t anything new to him and Vice City was a place that he was all too familiar with.
“If it was easy, I wouldn’t be here,” She mumbles, fixing her gaze to the patched grass beneath her Chuck Taylors. To leave meant never seeing her sister or niece again.
The stranger next to her hums knowingly. “I see. Somethings keeping you here but I don’t necessarily see that as a bad thing…”
Julianna glanced at him with curious eyes, his words throwing her mind for a loop. “How so?”
“Because I’m lucky to have come across a diamond in the rough,” He expresses, completely in a trance. It was clear to him she was going through something, what, he didn’t know but the way she showed her pain through her eyes intrigued him.
“Who are you?” Julianna questioned, trying to fight back whatever feeling that was rising inside of her at his words. The way his eyes seemed to look into her own, not once putting his attention on anything than her made her heart thump harshly inside of her chest.
“Depends…” He casually replies with the shrug of his shoulders. “I can be whoever or whatever you need me to be,”
Julianna smirked, playfully rolling her eyes at his words. “Well fortunately for you, I’m in need of a lot of things; security…love…loyalty, just a lot of shit that I haven’t felt in a long time, if ever truthfully,” She softly lists off, closing her eyes as the wind brushed across her face, the feeling only adding to her tipsy and high state.
“All that is a given if you’re willing to take a chance,"
"What’s your name?” She asks after a few seconds, attempting to control her breathing as he brought his fingers up to skim across her exposed collarbone. His touch although foreign felt nothing short of soothing. A feeling she didn’t want to disappear just yet.
“Jaehyun,” He responds just as someone from behind them calls out to him in a language that Julianna wasn’t familiar with. She watched him nod towards men standing near a black SUV before his attention went back to her. “I have somewhere else I need to be but…can I at least get your name before I go?”
Holding out her hand, she waited until he firmly gripped hers before introducing herself knowing that come tomorrow morning, she probably won’t remember none of this. To see his face again would only be in a dream because, in her world, things never played in her favor.
“Julianna,”
