Songs stuck in my head (2023 Q3)

（＾ω＾）the music we got for Spring/Summer 2023 audiodrama season has been amazing

相思续续入梦来/"Thoughts and memories entering my dreams" by 远皓ZIL

[三嫁咸鱼/Thrice Married to Salted Fish , Season 1]

The music and lyrics of this song perfectly balances the blend of humor and heart in this story. The verse starts off kind of cheeky, but the emotions mount as we build towards the chorus. That line about Lin Qingyu donning his wedding robes again -- a scene that made me weep while reading the novel -- is like a punch to the gut. Thankfully the song and the story ends on a happy note.

山月随舟/"The world that follows" by 大C

[残疾战神嫁我为妾后/After the Disabled God of War Became My Concubine]

This is supposed to be about a maimed war hero biding his time to take revenge on the unscrupulous enemy prince he is forced to marry, but thankfully the real story is better represented by this sweet ballad. Despite the trials and chaos of the main characters' circumstances, they find a kindred spirit in each other and a promise to build a peaceful life together after the war is over.

真情错给/ "True love given in error" by 匀子, 漆柚

[泾渭无间/Clear and Muddy Loss of Love, Season 1]

This heartbreaking duet is attempting the impossible: to capture the emotional devastation of this epic novel in just a few minutes. "Love/ falls into a drop of tear, there is no one to blame, but me who has given my true love in error." A heartfelt love has crumbled into the cruelest betrayal, but instead of anger, there is just sadness, longing, and helplessness.

随月/"Follow the moon" by 海疼er

[游龙随月/You Long Sui Yue (both seasons) ]

I love this song so much that every time I hear it I instantly forgive the parts of the audiodrama that I enjoyed less. The lyrics tell a story of meeting and getting to know someone with whom you can share the rest of your journeys and your life. It sounds like a theme song for a wuxia drama, the song that should be playing while they ride off onto their next adventure together.

直到黎明/"Until Dawn" by 文森

[诟病/Morbid Attachment]

I'm still torn between feeling like this song is a bit too raw and under-produced, or breathtakingly intimate with its focus on the main vocals. It's written for a lost lover whose name is hidden in the lyrics and melody, a lover who doesn't know or believe in this, even though a part of him desperately wants to. This song is filled with the regret and yearning that comes out of such a relationship, vulnerable but hopeful.

心眼 (主役版) /"Eye of the mind" (cast version) by 陈张太康, 文森

[心眼/Eye of the Mind, Season 2]

This duet featuring two of my favorite voice actors is basically fulfilling one of my CV fandom dreams. Their voices work so well together! The calm, modern sound of the song perfectly sets the mood for the journeys of (relatively) ordinary people who manage to have some incredible drama.

i think it was one of your posts that was talking abt muto disliking baji and kazutora? please tell me it was i cant find it nowhere i was thinking & mucho disliking baji for being a traitor makes kind of sense, but like.. how does he even knows kazutora at all? i can't really think of a way he would possibly meet/heard about him. he might've gotten info on him searching evidence about baji's 'treachery' in his past, but he would've needed to have access to police informs or something😭 since he wen to juive, he must be registered somewhere. so.. said access is not v probable. he could have contacts such as sanzu!! but haru is so weird about his way with mikey, and i don't think he would just spill that kind of personal info just like that at all.

another way could be izana told him wich would open a very interesting convo about izana/kazutora's relationship and how izana would feel about mikey forgiving kazu for killing shin but i highly doubt he'd tell him anything. he doesn't even think they like him and is convinced tenjiku s1 follows him out of fear. i feel like baji and kazutora being both disliked by mucho is kind of bcs they are a buy one get two but there's probably a reason behind it. i am just too tired to think straight and i'm not even sure this ask makes sens lol. but if it does, i would love to hear about what you'd have to say on this!!

It was one of mine, i remember that ask! And yeah i do think the reason Mucho dislikes Kazutora is because of what he did/ the threat he poses to Mikey and toman. Especially the way he was able to get Baji on his side (and they kidnapped Chifuyu to beat him up??? An actual toman member. Which yk 5th division is supposed to be stopping traitors and making sure this exact situation doesn't happen).

As for how Mucho found out, I'm guessing it was the same way Kisaki knew all about Kazutora's background and his grudge against Mikey. Which we never get a firm answer for but i think it might've been through gossip and rumours? The former 1st gen black dragons captain being killed is pretty big news so I'm guessing word would get around on who did it. Kazutora also wasn't exactly quiet about his hatred towards Mikey.

According to a new report form the Southern Poverty Law Center, Idaho state Sen. Tammy Nichols has been "associating publicly" with "several extremists" in recent weeks.

The SPLC cites examples such as a recent Twitter post showing Nichols standing alongside conservative comedian Alex Stein, who went viral for a video he shared showing him shouting at Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and referring to her as a his "favorite big-booty Latina."

Also in the photo is Rebecca Crockett, who the SPLC says is a "white nationalist YouTuber" who "uses her channel to promote high-profile white supremacists."

The SPLC also cites Nichols' Feb. 24 appearance on The Stew Peters Show, whose host, Stew Peters, is a known far-right anti-vaxxer and conspiracy theorist who has repeatedly disseminated outright lies about COVID-19.

Nouveau Drama Chinois de 36 episodes de 45minutes

Titre: Warm on a Cold Night

Genre: Enquêtes et époque, Comédie, Fantastique (loup garou), Romance et amitié.

Su Jiu Er (Li Yi Tong) est une jeune policière talentueuse et sympathique, avec un sens de l'investigation affûté. Originaire du royaume Qian, elle est faible et a tout le temps froid.

Au cours de ses enquêtes, elle rencontre Han Zheng (Bi Wen Jun), un membre de la famille dirigeante du royaume Qi.Celui-ci est doté d'un esprit de loup, ce qui lui confère une force et une agilité phénoménales. Cela rend également sa peau incroyablement chaude au toucher, ce qui donne à Su Jiu Er une irrésistible envie de se blottir contre lui ! Cependant, son manque de capacités relationnelles le rend dur et agressif avec tous ceux qu'il rencontre.

Mais les opposés s'attirent et ce duo insolite tisse des liens de plus en plus étroits au cours de leur enquête sur une étrange affaire de meurtre impliquant leurs deux royaumes !

Leur relation soufflant le chaud et le froid les conduira-t-elle jusqu'à l'amour ?

Avis perso: beaucoup d'enquêtes, peu de romance j'aurai aimé en avoir plus et sans qu'ils se tournent autour... la romance ne vient que dans les derniers épisodes (les enquêtes se suivent sous fond politique.. pas trop mon genre). J'aime le personnage Han Zeng, un peu moins celui de Su Jiu Er. Coté costume j'ai déjà vu mieux aussi, je les trouve un peu fade. Des blancs dans l'histoire donnent l'impression d'avoir loupé quelque chose (Han Zeng gravement blessé et le moment d'après il va très bien) mais malgré tout cela c'est un drama qui se laisse regarder. Je reste pour le coté fantastique et la romance :) Good ending :)

My project - overview

Hey guys! I think it's about time I say a little more about my project. I'd like to study the influence of Tiktok as a mediation tool.

I’ve been following and diving into Jax’s use of the app, noticing use of trends and use of initiated trends and other phenomena that can arise.

Jax was first known through her participation in American Idol. Following this, she released a couple of songs, but she never went on the charts and her audience was very little. I don’t think I’m going to talk about her past because I’m focusing on her use of TikTok. And it's only showing that she has had exposure implying a potential existence of an audience. I could compare her mediation process, back then but I don’t think her time on American Idol is relevant.

How is Jax using TikTok to promote her music? How is being a full-time artist through Tiktok different from regular artist?

hopefully, my inquiry line makes sens.. if not, please hit me up..

Since I'm talking about her use of TikTok, it's only logical that I keep my timeframe from 2020 to 2022 (today)

Promotion to her release: Victoria’s Secret which wen on the 100 Billboard chart this year.

Parodies for a pandemic: coronavirus songs, creativity and lockdown, by Stratton I found on Humanities International Complete. The author talks about the phenomenon of remixing and, editing and the remaking of existing songs and define a new role for the audience to also be creator content instead of being passive listeners. I would add, that it is also a promotion for new artist aside their production. Jax draws the audience to her with the parodic songs she makes.
