Omg okay, sooooo, I used to live in a house that I'm pretty sure was a trigger for mass hysteria or some shit.

I'm not sure what it was, but basically, auditory hallucinations that everyone was collectively having despite NO ONE having previously had them and the hallucinations disappearing after we left the house.

Basically me and my sisters were home alone when we VERY CLEARLY heard a knock on my mom's bedroom door. All 3 of us get up to check it out and... no one is fucking there and our cat walked up to the door to investigate the sound, TOO. MY FUCKING CAT HEARD THE KNOCK TOO. No one could've knocked on the door, we all saw each other walk out of our respective rooms, no one else was home, and it couldn't have been our cat cause we saw him walk out of the living room to investigate. So that's... fun. BUT IT GETS WORSE

We were sitting around, and I think our parents were asleep. We were all in separate places in the house when we heard our cat, Sugar, scratching at the couch outside. My sister got up to stop him, and I figured she had it, so I went back and sat back down, not thinking much of it. Until later, when we were all talking and my oldest sister, the only one that didn't go to stop Sugar from murdering our couch said "I heard it, too, but Sugar couldn't have been scratching up the couch cause he was right next to me" and like excuse me... WHAT. How can the cat be scratching up the couch outside when he was RIGHT NEXT TO HER. IN HER ROOM. NOT OUTSIDE. We ALL heard it, and there was proof it was none of us, and it couldn't have been someone else, so WHAT THE FUCK. WHAT WAS UP WITH THE SCRATCHING NOISE

The best part of it all was that MIRACULOUSLY, our parents were never around to hear it too. They were always either asleep or away or anything, but it turns out they experienced auditory hallucinations TOO, except WE were the ones never around to hear it. Idfk what was up with that house, but we moved out anyway, so we pretend it never happened.
