My Bullet Journal
Since I was a kid I always liked planners and journals, I had several and I was obsessed with them.
Years passed and I ended up putting aside my hobby until in 2016 I got a calendar from my ex-boss and started learning more about organization and bullet journaling through Pinterest.
BUJO has been a rage since 2016 and I had my first BUJO in 2017.
Today I'm going to talk a little about my BUJO trajectory and show some of my layouts.
When I started BUJO in 2017 I made several trackers and just put tasks, I was doing it that way until September 2020 where I started to do in addition to tasks a little diary in topic.
Since then I went through several types of Planners, I started using just one notebook, then I went to A6 Traveler's Notebook, then to the Ring Planners always in B6 size.
I followed this way until 2021 when I started my Pocket Rings and followed the Kim'sPaperPlan organization method (currently she deleted the YT videos). At first I was the one who did my own inserts, but when I got my first Moterm Pocket Rings I started to buy Peanuts Planner Co Inserts.
Soon got tired of the ring system and in May 2022 I decided to go back to the A6 TN and although I loved the size the TN I had bought was too small and didn't fit everything I needed.
Than I decided that I would start a BUJO on an A6 Stalogy and that it would stay on the new big A6 TN that I bought.
Nowadays my BUJO is a mixture of journal and planner. I do my weekly planning and daily I do the daily journal. This way has been much better and more enjoyable for me.

@stu-dna January Study Challenge!
I had a lot of time to journal today! I have a lot of notebooks and journals that are actually working pretty well for me this year. In total: a weekly planner from lavendaire, the 2023 artist of life workbook (also by lavendaire), a personal journal for the end of the day, and a gratitude journal for about 2 minutes of cursive/gratitude practice every morning. I’m also thinking of starting a manifestation journal to help wit my practice. And here’s an obligatory pic of my cat who takes naps on my chair and stares at birds with Murderous Intent on my desk. Also peep the workout bands and massage ball chilling on my desk.
3. Do you tend to make new year’s resolutions? how well has that gone for you in the past?
Yeah, sort of? In 2020, I had goals that I wanted to reach and every year since then I stuck to that. I don’t have resolutions in the “I will workout every day for a year!!11!!1!” type stuff, instead I do “I want this body and to feel this level of health by the end of the year.” This means that I have to develop those habits in order to reach those goals. In the past, when it came to resolutions, they typically died off in about a month or (in one really embarrassing case) less than a day. I’ve found that journaling and writing down habits over resolutions has been a lot more successful. I’ve got a lot of habits this year, actually, I might’ve done too many? But they’re all things that successful people who I look up to do pretty frequently, so if they can do it so can I!

you have the power to choose
Living on autopilot can seem easier than being intentional. But really, intentionality can have a huge impact to us.
When we choose to go about our days on auto-pilot, we may lose our focus and miss out on important events in our lives.
So, how do we live our lives with intention? And why is intentionality vital to live life to the fullest?
I started living with intention when the COVID-19 pandemic began. It was around June or July 2020 when I decided that I’m no longer barreling through each day being idle or not knowing what I’ll do.
Wanting to get purpose and value, I chose to give up my days of autopilot-ing everything started living with intention. This means having meaning and careful thought in all that I do.
Here are some ways I live with intention:
– Creating a weekly planner
– Journaling weekly for reflection
– Being more present and aware (still working on this)
– Choosing activities that matter to me. This can be something I genuinely love to do, or things that help build up the person I want to be in the future.
Intentional living helps me live with purpose. It gives me a clearer vision of the why’s and how’s (Why am I doing this? How am I doing this?) of life.
Ultimately, the outcomes of our actions are partly shaped by how we live them. After all, we have the power to choose how we live … I choose to live with intention, how about you?
