kotonoha akane & aoi are japanese synths developed by AH-software in collabiration with AI Inc. akane is the pink one and aoi is the blue one btw. they were originally released for voiceroid+ in 2014, then voiceroid2 on 9 june 2017, web synthv on 22 july 2020, synthv studio on 30 july 2020, synthv studio lite on 24 sep 2020, aivoice on 22 feb 2021, voidol on 12 oct 2021, aivoice english on 10 dec 2021, and neutrino on 25 apr 2022. their vp is Yui Sakakibara. their voiceroid art was illustrated by Yoshida Yoshitsugi (im not sure about the synthv art though). they are a pair of sisters, with akane being the older one. akane is made for Kansai-ben intonation, while aoi is standard.

Last TV/movie watched: Resistance: 1942 for movie night with my mom and sibling (it was free and my sibling is really into history). My sibling pointed out that Jacques sounds a bit like Jonathan Sims, especially in the bits of the movie where he’s broadcasting himself on the radio, so now Cary Elwes is my headcanon voice for Not!Jon. Also poor Juliet, imagine losing both of your father figures in a single night.

Current obsession: The Magnus Archives and horror podcasts in general! I signed up for two podcast Big Bang events, and I’m also working on a TMA Post-Canon Animatic where Jon, Martin, and Annabelle make it to Somewhere Else, but Jon doesn’t survive the journey, Annabelle is abandoned by the Web, and Martin is alone and broken and angry. The whole thing is just an excuse for me to draw unhinged Martin.

I started writing this while Nightmare Time 1 was out, but it couldn't be finished until we met Nibbly in NMT 2.

It's set to the tune of The Witch in the Web, but the response is to a melody I made up, with words based on Sam Raimi's rules of horror. You're meant to sing the response after every verse, like a psalm in church.

And I made a demo for it (just the first verse) with vocals from Eleanor Forte on SynthV, in case you want to imagine what it would be like as an actual song. I would very much like to collaborate with someone who has more experience making music than I do and turn this into a full song.

Okay I came to your blog because I want to buy vocalloyd but I google it and nothing ever comes up. Pisses me off so much I might get synthv or utau

most vocaloids are going to be purchasable on the vocaloid web shop (download product list | VOCALOID SHOP) if you want physicals look on amazon japan. if you are looking for a SPECIFIC vocaloid that isnt on the vocaloid web shop or you cant find a physical send me and ask and ill try to find it.

why do some of my biggest hobbies have to be so notoriously frustrating to work with AJHVDFHJD like here are some projects i'm juggling between at the moment:

a horrible video i'm putting too much effort into that requires me to both draw and animate AND BTW vegas constantly freezes/crashes for me because i need a better graphics card

web design (2 different sites with pretty different layouts)

modding for a game in java, having to update that mod semi frequently

a visual novel in ren'py

like 6 unfinished vocaloid and synthv projects

developing a webcomic in every possible way OTHER THAN drawing it

also why do i keep starting new projects all the time anyway. couldnt i just be like really into photo collages or soemthing that would make my life inifinitely easier
