I’ve been feeling the Omega hype here lately due to watching the world race for TOP. Recently, I did some farming with strangers in O12S to get some glam pieces from there. I got the body piece for my DNC which gave me an idea for an Omega themed mix n’ match glam. (also got the weapons for the job along with RPR).

i figured out how to extract fo4 models to use in blender :-)

#i am officially unstoppable #started small with a couch & honestly #it's so not as difficult as i thought it would be!!#the only real complaints i have are that i cant see what things look like before extracting them &#it's kinda difficult to know which textures go to what #& a lot of the items like buildings & stuff are separated into multiple meshes which is kinda tedious #but other than that! it's neat!#i'm mostly excited for the buildings/houses bc i haaaaate setting up buildings in blender hence why i almost never do it #but i am also very excited to give my boys new clothes & weapons #rainyrambles #dl

Here, have this very simplified idea I've had for a while of Ari but he's actually leaning into the Hermaeus Mora aesthetic tm

Some details I think would really work well are things like peacock feathers everywhere, his eyes getting a little fogged over with green, and his hair / hands / feet / clothes being stained with and dripping ink and ichor

#I've always associated peacocks with Mora #it's the eye design of the feathers #but also i kind of see them as prideful animals #and Mora is a haughty know it all god who's proud of his control + dominion over knowledge #i think it works really well #anyway. Ari would Never sign himself away to be Mora's whole entire champion #but in this au i like to think it's a gradual thing that kind of. slowly consumes him #and ultimately winds up with Teldryn taking up a goal to break him away from mora #i also see Ari as being very quiet in this persona #he picks his words very carefully in both common and dovahzul #like any word could be his unmaking #he has to be sure that nothing can be weaponized against him #or maybe it's part of mora's control; and Mora keeps him quiet to keep his secrets safe #anyway. the outfit was kind of mainly inspired by Miraak and just medieval wear i think looks neat #practical? who needs practical when you're living in Apocrypha #and no he doesn't wear shoes because why would he #anyway. i just worked a 12 hour shift and I'm gonna go sleep

Not that I think it would happen but let a bunny boi dream...

I just think a standardbearer type support class would fit with this game's tone really well... I could also imagine the weapon being a short spear with a flag made from aether that only shows up during weapon skills (to save them from having to handle a flag during movement), but that would probably also mean that all of the weapons had the same flag design...

Well, good thing that wouldn't be my decision to make.

Some secret insights into this design though:

red threads are one of his character motifs, but I also imagined that the sowing stuff is for repairing the flag and stuff like that

he has a linkshell microphone bc I thought the 'support' a bannerman would give is rallying and coordinating and linkshells would be a nice thing to tie into that. and i also just liked the idea of a linkshell microphone

the spear is si'f unnumbered but short. love that spear and just took it and then i broke it

i gave him three's scissor but you can't really tell bc i placed it at one of the shittiest angles to draw something at

i gave up on giving the flag a pattern or anything like that, but it's based on shiroku voice of cards's bow underneath his cape

i own those shoes in real life

#im not that familiar with how hyped the re fandom is of the tough of a new re3 remake (i think most of em really want a code veronica #one which fair) but i just really want to see my favorite monster lad nemesis get a good treatment bc they did him so poorly in the re3 #remake and its so annoying cuz nemesis is like one of THE best re monsters (in the original) he is so scary and the fact that he is a #stalker monster just adds to that he can also wield weapons and is faster and stronger than the player and he is so scary and coool!!!#and also his design is ssoooo much better in the original with him not looking like a silly melted blob and having a neat little #trench coat and having some cool stitches on his face! and i think that'll look epic on hd and also they could expand more on #the story on how he was made and also i just think if they make an re3 remake with the quality and epicness of the re4 remake #itll be so cool #anyway here we conclude the infodump about my current hyperfixation!!#gh0ost txt #i don't know if i want to tag this as re cuz im honestly a bit scared of going there

In other news, I updated my dice display. I now have 79 sets of dice.

#speculation nation #dice #i wanted to display my fancy new axe but i dont rly have a good place to put it :(#that wouldn't also be a risk to the cats lol #the cats dont go up here & it's typically not jostled. too out of the way.#so it's unlikely to fall. and thus the safest place i could think to display it #maybe someday i can get an actual thing set up for it #at the very least it has more attention here than my machete and spear and 6 other big blades stuck in the closet #also my assortment of pocket knives and throwing knives and keychain knives & daggers #also the thing i think is a carving knife. maybe.#there r also cooking knives but those dont count. even if my fancy cooking knife is probs the sharpest one #those are for UTILITY. these r just to look cool.#an aside. i wore my stray kids crop sweatshirt today. which is great! love how it looks #but it also means i bought a literal axe while wearing a sweatshirt that says 'maniac' on the front #and well. that sure is a look huh.#it's ok i also bought a cat hat. i think that skews the perception of me away from serial killer vibes. maybe.#LISTEN MAYBE I HAVE SOME 50 ISH BLADES i am never violent with them. i just think theyre neat!#i got weapon collector gene from my dad but at least i collect cool blades & not guns lol
