Imagine for a moment that Buggy is CRUSHING HARDCORE on Mihawk and Crocodile. Imagine she is crushing on them. Imagine she is in LOVE. IMAGINE OKAY.

Alvida, like the bestest bestie to ever best, is just like "bet, let's get your manses." She kidnaps Buggy for Plotting and A Makeover. Swordguy and Sandman are oblivious to this happening (they also love her but are Not Making Moves).

Then Buggy announces a small event. Maybe it's the anniversary of the Guild starting, maybe it's a celebration for a bug bounty being brought in, maybe maybe maybe idfk, but it's A Party. The squad all orchestrates performances, food, good music, etc. Alvida plays announcer, and the main act is Buggy on silks.

Crocodile and Mihawk, attending solely for appearances sake, are suddenly Looking. She's in a leotard, tights, hair elegantly tied up, makeup different but still very much Her Brand. She looks majestic, graceful, weaving her body and limbs around the silks like she and the fabric are the same, movements fluid and confident. There is absolutely NO devil fruit involved, it's All Skill.

And then she tumbles, transitioning from silks to a dragon staff, music shifting from sweet, bouncy and yet sinful to something a bit harder, a bit faster. She twirls and moves, flames lighting her features in a way that's breathtaking even without the prior attraction. It's like the spotlight has fueled her, baptized into a new being who is in her element. The audience is left breathless.

Maybe it wraps up with the music hitting a climax, her dancing and twirling growing and growing and growing until she finishes with a fire-breathing move, much to the cheering of her audience.

Just.... talented performing women and their absolute LEGION of simps.

I don't have to imagine shit, what do you mean Buggy isn't in love with them???????? That is canon to me. What are you talking about??? And the only reason Crocodile and Mihawk aren't making moves although they like her back is because they're both socially inept idiots who don't know how to flirt. People keep saying they know. They don't. And Alvida doing her a makeover is just so real to me. I'm sure she'd actually love fem Buggy way more than canon because, y'know, women.

The whole thing about Buggy's show??? Okay. Wow. I died. But also Crocodile and Mihawk would not fucking hesitate. They might not know how to flirt but they knovw what they want and they can't hold themselves back after THAT. Just saying the three of them have a very fun night right after that show and they leave the party way earlier than expected. Alvida winks at Buggy and Buggy probably thinks she's being taken to another room to get murdered or something. Little does she know.

boruto is a character assassination

naruto wanted to end the shinobi world. he wanted people to stop dying meaningless deaths as mere tools (haku fight). he wanted to end the cycle of grief and revenge that drove so many of the conflicts he experienced (sasuke, pein). while he loved those around him, he became aware that children should not be training to fight from the moment they can walk - the future naruto dreamed of was so, so different from how he grew up.

in his journey to bring sasuke back, he learned so much about the circumstances that create this cycle of suffering and hatred. “we could so easily be in each other’s shoes”. he dreamed of ways to end it. he promised this to pein. he never, ever wanted anyone to go through what he and sasuke went through. ever again.

and yet, in boruto, basically nothing has changed. children still go on dangerous, life-threatening missions. they still start training as shinobi as soon as they can grasp a kunai. naruto works hard, but to what end? what is he changing? i mean, all of the work he did ending the akatsuki, the corruption in konoha, the war, etc, certainly set the future up for more peace, but beyond that... the system hasn’t changed. we watched naruto persist, absolutely REFUSE to give up, until he had saved sasuke. are we to believe that he suddenly would lose all of his resolve, and let the system continue to endanger children, and perpetuate a warlike culture?

the end of shippuden is literally naruto acknowledging that sasuke was right. in the end, they agree. but the writers of boruto just want us to forget about all of that so they can have their happy little sequel, which seems more like hinata’s infinite tsukuyomi dream.

whenever i read a fic and shanks doesn't mention buggy even once it always feels soo ooc bc like what do you mean shanks isn't vibrating with the need to see buggy at all times??? at the very least, shanks should be thinking about buggy passively, if not actively. like buggy lives that man's mind rent fucking free. buggy should be charging appearance fees for how often shanks thinks of him. like all it would take is one (1) denden call, where buggy shaky voiced goes "shanks... please... i need you" and shanks would be hauling ass across the grand line to get to buggy

i think this whole early access thing is really shining a light on the true colours of some creators...

on the one hand you've got people who've always been ea or have been for a long ass time turning round and saying you know what? everything's free and i ain't going nowhere cos they love the game, creating and the community as a whole so why would they leave?

then on the other hand you've got people turning round saying "well it's not very clear i'm gonna continue until it is" or "uwu i have bills" or "even more uwu we're being made victims here and being lumped in with the same group who doxxed ppl blah blah and idk if i wanna stay around in a community like that" bitch.. you were never here for the community, you just wanted to make money off the people in said community, so byeeee~, don't let the door hit you on the way out!
