BACKGROUND

These two met while Val was in college in New York (he didn't necessarily have to be in college as well, but they met while she was in school). They got along like a house on fire. There were truly very few people in Val's life who validated her journey to coming to accept and appreciate her deafness, like he did. He understood and supported her completely. After Val graduated, they remained in New York for a few years, living together happily and enjoying doing life together. A year or two after she graduated, they got married, truly believing they were well on their way to their own happily ever after. After that, they moved a couple times for his job (whether because of a promotion or a new job, is totally open!) and Val was happy to do so. During this time is when she really started her instagram account for her yoga practice and began to do some social media brand deals. They were perfectly happy, until they weren't. He began spending more and more time at work. Things were great whenever he was at home, but his time there began to decrease and decrease. Maybe work was truly just getting more intense, maybe there was someone he was spending more time with who wasn't Val, I'm very open to discussing options! Shit hit the fan though when Val had a pregnancy scare. She had never really thought she wanted to have kids, but once she realized she wasn't actually pregnant, she also realized how much she had wanted to be. She was devastated when they found out it was just a scare. His feelings about the whole thing are completely UTP, but I hc'ed that they just had a huge miscommunication about what they each wanted, things were said that hurt each other, and the crack that him spending more time at work had created began to grow. Things got so bad, that they barely spoke, barely saw each other even when he wasn't at work. Finally, during what was supposed to be a 'work trip,' another person answered her husband's phone and Val had no choice but to come to the conclusion that he was cheating on her. This destroyed her and she filed for divorce very shortly after. How the divorce went, why he is now in Briar Ridge, how long it's been since they've seen each other is very much up for discussion!! I'm just looking for the angstiest of angsty connections here lol

CHARACTER FOR: Maeve Medeina TYPE OF CONNECTION: Ex. SUGGESTIONS: Gender and species is irrelevant honestly but their origin needs to be a high ranking family from the kingdom of Crirtha. Age needs to be 315+ minimum. DESCRIPTION: This ex was Maeve's first love, can be somewhat flexible on age but Maeve is 316. It would be ideal if they knew one another when they were both young, pre-teen sort of age.  This ex is a royal from the Kingdom of Critha and grew up entirely within the confines of a royal upbringing. Maeve and this person meet under extreme circumstances as Maeve is descended from a disgraced, excommunicated royal siren from Crirtha. As they grow into teens, this ex becomes more blatant with their sneaking out to see Maeve which has been going on for a couple of years. Maeve encourages this bad behaviour as their relationship becomes romantic. Eventually their secret relationship of years is discovered and this ex is forced to decide between being excommunicated or walking away from Maeve. Ultimately this ex chooses to end contact with Maeve. This ex for whatever reason finds themselves stationed in Destarin. Forever, temporarily, when they return, they feel a compulsion to reconnect with Maeve. This can be a platonic, romantic or even vengeful reconnect. Maybe they never got over Maeve, or are seeking revenge on something Maeve did or think they did. The messier the better. Do they need to reach out to you? Alba Laplan (she/they) is a 21 year old who juggles the demands of her law major at Redwood College and her internship at the Hart Law Firm.

Alba is of one mind, and it is to please. She will break herself before she is unable to satisfy someone's requests. Their boundaries? More like suggestions. She will let anyone mow down their boundaries in an instant. This is only exaggerated by her social anxiety. Alba gets so caught up in their own head about saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. She would apologise for breathing if they thought it was necessary. Alba is most comfortable around talkative and chatty people, because it gives her brief respite to not have to talk.

Alba's family doesn't come from great economic standing, and they put a lot of pressure on her to succeed so that she can contribute financially. Due to their scrutiny, she is quite afraid of and submissive to authority figures.

Nascido e criado em Foxburg, não havia uma pessoa na pequena cidade que não conhecesse Noah, ou pelo menos, quando ela não era tão conhecida assim. É o filho mais novo de três irmãos e sempre foi o mais bem comportado dos três, o que agradava às ‘tias’ da cidade. Sempre de sorriso na cara e uma palavra de bom dia a dizer em cada sítio que entrava, encantava todos os que se cruzavam com o menino. Ao concluir a escola com as melhores notas, não foi surpresa para ninguém quando conseguiu entrar na sua faculdade de sonho, e no curso que mais queria, embora alguns discordassem dessa escolha. Estudou literatura inglesa e clássica com o intuito de um dia trabalhar em uma grande editora de livros em alguma grande cidade, daí o espanto de toda a gente quando Noah voltou para Foxburg, aceitando o emprego como professor de inglês na escola Elmwood. Afinal, aquela mudança de carreira não estava de todo em seus planos, nem das pessoas que o conheciam, nunca se tinha imaginado sendo professor, mas a verdade é que hoje não se imagina fazendo qualquer outra coisa.

Além do trabalho na escola, Noah é também um dos curadores da biblioteca, estando ele encarregue de escolher e adicionar os novos livros que o local tem a oferecer à sua população, algo que o rapaz também adora fazer. 

PERSONALIDADE:

Mesmo mantendo seu amor por livros e literatura, Noah consegue ser uma pessoa um pouco mais sociável e com uma maior capacidade de fazer amigos comparando à altura de sua infância e atribui isso ao seu tempo na faculdade. Simpático, bem disposto e gentil, detesta tudo o que sejam intrigas e disputas. Em uma noite ele e MUSE 4 se conheceram e acabaram se envolvendo, o que Noah não contou no início é que foi a primeira vez se aventurando com alguém do mesmo sexo e isso se tornou óbvio para MUSE 4, especialmente com a estranheza que se instalou depois e ainda perdura, mesmo que Noah diga que não. ROOMMATE: MUSE 5 e Noah se conheceram em Harvard, os dois partilharam dormitório desde o primeiro ano e têm sido unha com carne. A verdade é que a única coisa que tinham em comum eram mesmo partilharem o quarto, afinal, não poderia haver amizade mais improvável, mas aconteceu. BACKGROUND

Cameron's father built Gem Pharmaceuticals from the ground up on shady business, unbeknownst to Cameron. He took bribes, paid politicians to lobby for approvals of certain drugs, etc etc. When he passed away and Cameron took over, Cameron worked himself to the bone (almost literally) trying to legitimise the business. And he was good at it! Very quickly, he was able to cut off any prior agreements or arrangements with his father's 'friends' and made sure that the company was actually turning a profit on the up and up. This process however, made a lot of people angry, lost them lots of money, maybe even got them in legal trouble. I would love to have someone who had an agreement or something like that with his father - who really got screwed over when Cameron took over Gem Pharmaceuticals - to send their daughter or pay someone to come to Briar Ridge specifically with the intention of getting close enough to Cameron that he might actually admit to them the kind of shady business deals that Gem Pharmaceuticals was doing before he took over. If they can somehow record this and get it back to their father/employer, their father/employer could then use it to blackmail Cameron, or even get him in trouble with the law as payback for how Cameron screwed them over. I'm so flexible with the details of how this all works out exactly, but basically I imagine this person working really hard to get close to Cam, trying to get him to fall for them, all in the hopes of him eventually admitting to them what his company used to do. Whatever happens in regards to if they manage to get the admission from Cam, if they give it to their father/employer, if Cam actually falls for them, if they fall for Cameron along the way, all of that is so up for discussion!
