Introducing what I call "Lil' Panthers" which are just smaller versions of dolls I make of characters, Wakandans or not, from the Black Panther movies.

Here's T'Challa dressed like he was in the ancestral plane scene from the first Black Panther movie. These purple flowers or weeds? are no longer in the front lawn -- so I took a bunch of photos of him just in time!

Anyway, more of these Lil' Panthers should be popping up on here/Instagram and YouTube as time goes on as well as the other, bigger dolls that have already been posted here. 🙂💜

This movie fcked me up, guys. It was just too sad. Every time they mentioned T'challa and shed tears you knew they weren't acting. Letitia Wright (Shuri)'s acting was just amazing because you know half of the time she's expressing her actual grief. The thing that struck me the most was when Shuri expressed how angry she was towards T'challa for leaving her, which is a normal step of grieving. But if you consider that Letitia was never meant to be the Black Panther, that she never signed up to become the face of the Black Panther, then you realize she was actually angry towards Chadwick. She's left with a mantle she never ever considered on taking but despite the pain she still gave her all to continue the legacy that Chadwick left. Honestly, she's got all my admiration and respect.

This is how Wakanda Forever ended, right? 

This drawing really got away from me, but it’s finally DONE.  I knew that I didn’t have it in me to draw Namor in all of his Mesoamerican finery, so I cheated and got creative with Photoshop magic.  I also thought that Shuri’s outfit should be minimalist to provide a fun contrast, but of course, she’s wearing the jade jewelry that Namor had given her in Talokan.

And in a nod to Wakandan modesty, Namor actually put on some clothes a tunic.  It is his wedding day, after all.

I finally watched Wakanda Forever and (predictably) loved Talokan and these precious idiots. I just know Namora and Attuma grew up rivals and ended up as the best warriors. Attuma being so much taller than Namora is so great bc of how she bosses him around and he just complies kajshdkaj I loveeeeee

(I really love that they keep their skin color in the water, it’s genius that they were true to the comics with the blue skin but only when they’re out of their world)

M'Baku has finally arrived!

Remembering that I had some faux leather sheets from once upon a time made making a bit of armor for him easier... Except for almost trying to stab myself when trying to get the tapestry needle through the material.

I already had the carrot around (it's a free pattern you can find at (@harvestyarns) and knew it was the perfect size for M'Baku to carry around.

I didn't add armor to his arms because there was fur involved which I do not have at the moment and more me trying to stab myself with the tapestry needle and faux leather.

My favorite was making his frills.

At the moment he's the only character that has food... Meaning the others most likely will be after him for a piece of it!

M'Baku was asked if he would like to share his carrot, he replied: No, but I will because I am a decent human being.
