These little purple flowers make me think of T'Challa and (now) Shuri. They show up every year, but they leave quickly (or the landscaper guys mow over them!)
I took this photo a few days ago just in time (because the following day the landscapers arrived!)
Last year I think I only managed to take a photo of T'Challa with these flowers, but I don't think I took a photo of T'Challa and Shuri together. I'm glad I was able to!
Anyway -- Happy Wednesday to Black Panther fans. 🙂💜

Today I managed to make a 15 minute video, or so, of how I go about making my dolls from start to finish, and decided to take one of my crocheted heads and make my second version of T'Challa which is a lot like my first because I made him in the same outfit the last time. 😂
The video is here if anyone is interested in taking a glance.

Also, T'Challa is currently available in my Etsy Shop where I am having a 25% off sale on all of my handmade items. Feel free to follow my shop if you're over on Etsy!

Happy Weekend!
Okoye has finally arrived! I know, it took longer than expected. I had her head in a wicker basket just waiting around for a body since what feels like as long ago as March or May, but I am so happy to see her completed!
Edited to say: Okoye is now available in my Etsy Shop.

Namor and Black Panther were purchased from my shop recently, but Attuma and Nakia are still available.
I hope to make a few more dolls and get them in my shop as soon as I can. I know I have an Okoye in the works... Just trying to figure out what I want her outfit to look like and I may either put one of my Everett Ross dolls I made sometime last year. I also may put up my Shuri doll in her purple track suit so be on the look out if you're interested.
Thanks again for any likes/shares/purchases of my art. It really means a lot to me. Have a great day! 🙂🧶

I usually don't post many photos of packaging my orders, and they're always different, but this is the first purchase I have had for any of my Black Panther dolls and I was really excited to be able to send some Valentine's Day cards I bought last year, along with the pencils that came with it, with the dolls.
To whoever purchased Namor and the Panther, thank you for choosing to purchase from me. 🙂💜

I found some time to make a quick video with some of my new Black Panther character dolls. I apologize in advance for losing my voice throughout 😂🤦🏽‍♀️. It really do be like that sometimes.
Hopefully I have my voice whenever I make my next one -- and hopefully I get to post some new pictures of Okoye soon. I mentioned in the video that I would finish her today -- or at least I thought I mentioned it... 😂🤦🏽‍♀️, but time got away from me and I had to work on a few more things unrelated to Black Panther.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by and checking out my dolls or even my YouTube Channel. It always means a lot more when it's fans of things you're a fan of.

💜The Black Panther has (finally) arrived💜
Seriously, I've been attempting to make a variation or several, of Black Panther as well as a pattern and while I could have used black yarn I literally had no idea where I was going with this most recent attempt -- meaning I thought I'd have to scrap it like the other times.
Glad I stuck with it and thought long and hard about 'trusting the process' because I think this is the one that's gonna stick even after some editing of the pattern.
I used some source photos of both T'Challa and Shuri in their suits to design this doll, but I pulled more from T'Challa's suits.
I have a few purple yarns I bought awhile back just for a Black Panther doll. Those who know the movies know the Heart Shaped Herb is purple.
I'd really like to make the Panther in other colors as well. I'm thinking tribal colors obviously, but maybe some bold neon colors and of course some in black. I'd also like to make some in other weights of yarn.
Obviously the pattern is an easy make especially without any color variations to the head and the body, but the detailing is what took the longest time.
Anyway, be sure to check/follow my Etsy Shop in the near future for the addition of Black Panther dolls as well as the pattern!
I also just dropped a Short on my YouTube Channel if you'd like to check it out:
