sometimes accents are stupid and pronunciations Do Not Generalize

an example of this is vitamin. where i am in america it's pronounced with an "eye" i, so the vi rhymes with "bye." Where I was in the UK it's pronounced with an "ih" I, so the vi is like the vi in "Victoria."

so now if it's taking about the concept of vitamins as a category, i use the US pronunciation. if i'm talking about specific ones, like vitamin c, i use the UK pronunciation.

(usually. if i remember i might swap wildly between the two as i try in vain to remember which pronunciation is correct for the country i'm in)

don't even get me started on the way i use the UK pronunciation of "garage" for everything except for garage sales

when stede senses that ed is having a bad day or maybe that his brain is in the process of Going Into The Hole (If You Know You Know) he’ll go up to him with his hand behind his back and tell him to close his eyes and open his mouth and then pops a piece of surprise candy in there

#about half the time its a little square of chocolate and ed gets to guess what % cocoa it has and what else is in there etc #sometimes its one of those sour candies that makes ur eyes water and the sensory shock helps knock ed out of a spiral #sometimes its a gummy vitamin.

He does 🥰‼ I don't have anything definitive but I do have a few noootes!

▪︎When he lived in a Manor he was very pampered and plump by being fed stuff like fruit and bread, he also had better vision because he was given the proper nutrients, now he's more carnivorous for sustainable energy

▪︎He only eats what is smaller then him, and for obvious reasons is not interested in the spore lizards (imagine the itchy eye 😭) so yipee bugs, thumpers, snare fleas etc.

▪︎Speaking of Baboon Hawks, Woody fucking hates them so bad they cause a ruckus and their beaks can poke holes in his wood, unpleasant! He avoids them but if there was a needed resource on the line then ye, hes going to beat the shit outta that monkee

If I were to guess preference/best choice, snare flea. Easy to get, plenty around, nutrient and cannot really do any harm to him

*looks up new symptom**website says it can be caused by stress, mystery misc health condition, or habits i do not have**i cannot leave my current stress situation for another whole year minimum**all nhs waitlists are minimum six months, if you can get on one* guess ill die then

#been getting fast heartrate and the associated body not working. even when laying down.#i do not have the emotional bandwidth to go to the doctor again. making that call then walking there to look my wonderful doctor in the eye #tell them i have a new symptom and dont know how it fits in all my other ones #and just not have solutions #'i can prescribe you some vitamins again. temp fix' the ones i cant afford? that dont change any symptoms?#hes a great doctor but its the waitlists and the specialists and the 'exercise!' and the everything #vent #also im sick of stress likely being the cause of all my issues bec its the one thing i cannot solve #its just a downward spiral
