hi!! i hope you’re doing well!

i wanted to ask, have you ever heard of Vintage Story? it’s a bit like Minecraft in that it’s a resource harvesting/block based game, but that’s where the similarities end for the most part!

in the base game, it has metalworking and ore refining, mushroom foraging (and regular foraging in general), realistic biomes & temperature distribution, micro blocks and chiseling, clay working, realistic farming, grain grinding and bread baking with different grains, fermenting, the list goes on and on!

it’s one of my favorite games, it has so many amazing features and little things, you can easily get lost in it for hours!

i hope you have a good day!!

i had to dig for this ask because it took me so long to get around to checking it out, but i can confirm now that vintage story is woooonderful and fulfills my wiki-reading survival-game-obssesed blocky autism PERFECTLY

the active modding community is a also a Huge draw. i've got myself a lil kobold that i've already started giving lore :]

The shores were dangerous, creatures crawling from the very earth to hunt and maim. Yet my eyes were not on the shambling beasts around me but on the behemoth before me. A tall bear I have heard it called. (Based on Pr1vatelimes vod: I should be dead by all rights... yet I hunt!)

Vintage Story is such a fascinating game! The beast that roams when a temporal storm hits is just so freaky and cool, I would so run right toward it if I saw it
