@vikingofficial Absolutely not! People of color should receive progress regardless of white people’s terms. What I was trying to point out is that we’re having these discussions in white majority nations. White people’s feelings 100% matter, even if only for that reason. I believe white people’s feelings should matter regardless, which was the other argument I was making, but you have to recognize that you literally cannot ignore white people’s feelings without having some pretty severe negative effects to white society.

Not sure what you meant about using my marginalized status. I’m white. If you meant the schizo thing, I literally admitted to using that in bad faith. You can totally ignore what I said about my mental health, that was literally just a gotcha argument from me and I didn’t intend it to be anything more than that.

But I actually agree with you. Be anti-racist! And I’m not just saying this to black people who are rude to white people, which is simply interpersonal racism. White people need to recognize that POC have been living in systemic racism for CENTURIES in the west. A lot of anti-black arguments from right wingers purposefully ignore the history of racism and it’s totally unacceptable.

I promise you, it’s not me who is the problem here. It’s very much you, who is completely fine with justifying further racial division. I want us to stop fucking calling each other names based on race. People are stupid and easily influenced by emotion. Saying “white people are weird” is a racist comment and it will only further radicalize people who are sensitive to such things.

Now, to be ultra clear, I would not use this justification for just anything. For instance, I’m sure black people trying to just live their lives probably radicalized white people in the past. The only reason I am talking about this specific thing right now is because you’re doing something totally counterproductive when you don’t need to. Talk that anti-white stuff in private. Don’t be openly anti-white in public. It validates racist white folks for no fucking reason!

TL;DR just stop being openly racist, it’s really easy.
