Knid attack!

The various interpretations of the Loompaland creatures: Hornswogglers, Snozzwangers, Vermicious Knids, and Wangdoodles.

1 = Hornswoggler

2 = Snozzwanger 

3 = Wangdoodle 

4 = Vermicious Knids 

5 = An alternate set of depictions for the creatures. 

- Hornswoggler: These critters have the nasty habit of skewing multiple prey with that horn of theirs all at once (making a shish kabob), then, dries them out in the sun while perched up on a branch. Once cooked to it’s liking, the Hornswoggler goes on a search for the largest thorn it can find to once again impale the prey and to help pull them off their horn and digs in. Based off hummingbirds and the real life shrike which impales it’s prey on thorns: m.youtube.com/watch?v=RPXDouwQ… - Wangdoodle: Since in the ‘71 film Wonka mentions it could each 10 at a time and think nothing of it, I figured a frog would be fitting since they eat so much. The dog-like head was added so it can sniff out Oompa Loompas who may be hiding out of sight (it has terrible vision) and snatch them up like a chameleon. - Snozzwanger: It’s sticky snot/mucus from it’s elephantine trunk helps trap prey where it’ll then bring it up to the mouth to be eaten. Inspired by star-nosed moles and the heffalumps from Winnie the Pooh. - Vermicious Knid: A real trickster these buggers are. They like to pull horrible pranks on the Oompa Loompas from time to time either for sh*ts ‘n giggles or before going in for the kill. Either way they love to laugh. Their awful cackle can be heard all over the jungles of Loompa Land. Based off crocodiles, mandrills and baboons. An idea I’ve come up w/ is that these names are actually just what are used for the different class of animals that have a certain characteristics. Ex. Hornswogglers are used to describe animals that have a large (or multiple) horns. Snozzwangers are animals that eat snozzberries along w/ having a prominent nose. Vermicious Knids is a name used to describe animals that have sharp teeth, a big, horrible toothy grin, voracious appetites, and are typically tricksters. Wangdoodles are to describe all the big and weirder animals who don’t have a characteristic trait that fit in the other categories. The “kooky ones” to put it lightly.

6 = Another set of them.

7 = One more additional set.

8 = Some weird Loompaland plants.

i would like to know, also, why we have two movies and a musical and an upcoming prequel for charlie and the chocolate factory but nobody (as far as i know) has ever tried to make a movie of charlie and the great glass elevator. just kidding, i know the answer it's because all filmmakers are cowards

Nobody actually wants a Willy Wonka prequel movie, do they? What we NEED is a Great Glass Elevator movie, packed with all the cosmic terror, body horror, and over-the-top political commentary of the original story. The kids who grew up on Among Us would love it.

No studio will ever touch it, though. Cowards.

Before it's too late, I just wanted to give a gentle reminder to all you good folks out there: PLEASE VOTE THIS YEAR. I know, you've probably all heard variations on this theme since time immemorial, but really, the thing of it is, even if you aren't mega huge fans of the candidates this year, they may be better than the alternative. See, last month, I saw a news headline saying that the Democrats were expecting a huge MAGA turnout this year, and there are still people who think that Trump and his cronies are a "Jesus movement". If you want to put the kibosh on these false believers, then do your part and cast your ballot.

Wildest thing is about the whole thing, the Second Willy Wonka book actually does have more stereotypical villains, the entire vacuum of space is full of shapeshifting omnicidal carnivorous aliens called Vermicious Knid, capable of moving at 11.5 miles per second, and every planet in the solar system used to be crawling with life but they killed and ate all of them, and only haven’t invaded earth because they can’t safely penetrate it’s atmosphere: “Wonka also tells Charlie that shooting stars are in fact Knids who are burning to death, due to their stupidity or boldness in attempting to attack Earth despite the well-known warnings”

Growing up, I really thought Wangdoodles, Hornswogglers, Snozzwangers, and rotten, Vermicious Knids were going to be a bigger problem.

the glaswegian willy wonka mess is making me realise that my real dream in life is to recreate the great glass elevator’s vermicious knids. i think they would’ve fitted right in

CaTcFember Day 4: Dream

Charlie and Grandpa Joe decide to try some of Wonka’s fizzy lifting drinks. The drinks giving them the feeling of being lifted off the ground and going higher than a kite, and experience visions of Loompaland’s fearsome creatures, such as: the Snozzwanger, Hornswoggler, Wangdoodle and Vermicious Knid.
