I actually did a really small Warz Gill/Prince Vekar edit. It's nothing big, in fact barely an edit, but he's my favorite character ever and he deserves it. I know he's the villain but with him being underestimated by everyone around him and thought of as a fool, and in spite of that, trying to prove himself to all of those around him that he is a worthy heir... I can't help but relate to him. He IS inspirational. In spite of all the setbacks, he didn't give up and was determined to prove all of his naysayers wrong. Because of this goofy little Prince, I'll never give up, nor let the haters win. So, thank you Super Megaforce and Gokaiger for giving me my greatest comfort character. He's perfect💙🪽

Atlantis Interceptors, the / I predatori di Atlantide (1983) [👎] Konstig italiensk actionfilm man lämnar bäst ifred.
Blixten från Titfield / Titfield Thunderbolt, the (1953) [👍] Överraskande charmig och mysig liten komedi från brittiska öarna. Så glad att jag hann se den innan den försvann från SVT Play.
Faran från Skyn / Blob, the (1958) [_] Klassisk science fiction skräckis som gränsar till kultkomedi idag. Sevärd än idag.
Haunted by Murder: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery (2022) [👍] Troligen den sista Aurora Teagarden-filmen från Hallmark Movies&Mysteries då Candace Cameron Bure skrivit kontrakt med en annan kanal.
Mannen i Vita Kostymen / Man in the White Suit (1951) [_] Kul liten science fiction film från en tid då syntetiska tyger var framtiden.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995) [_] Nördigt charmig, men har kanske inte stått tidens tand speciellt väl.
Piff och Puff: Räddningspatrullen / Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022) [👍] Ohh. Bättre än väntat. Piff och Puff tar oss på en odyssé av nostalgi och ger oss den första filmen värdig att kallas spirituell uppföljare till Roger Rabbit!
Power Rangers (2017) [🔁] Den här var bättre än väntat, även nu vid omtitten.
Star Trek (2009) [🔁] Filmen som nollställde tidslinjen för att lättare håva in nya tittare och trekkers. En helt okej film.
Star Trek: Beyond (2016) [👍] Kanske den bästa I trilogin. Bra story och den lyckas frammana den där utforskar känslan Star Trek alltid präglats av.
Star Trek: Into Darkness (2013) [🔁] Den vekare av de tre filmerna. Men så var jag inget fan av Kahn i TOS heller.
Svarte Piraten / Blackie the Pirate / Il Corsaro Nero (1971) [🔁] Tidig Bud Spencer & Terrence Hill-film. Väldigt lite av den förre men den senare lyfter den här filmen till sanna swashbuckler-nivåer.
Wacko (1982) [👎] Klockar in på en av de absolut sämsta komedier jag sett. Vet inte ens varför den var bokmärkt i min Vodeville. @kulturdasset som är den skyldige kanske?
Så, skall man bara plocka en film denna månad tycker jag man ger räddningspatrullen en chans. Bra story, trogen förlagan och lämnar tittaren suktandes efter mer.

Orta kapıdan vekar ve ihtişam ile çıkarken hazin bir titreme ruha huşu ve tevekkül veren tatlı bir şâdâ, Orta kapının taş duvarlarına, bir zamanlar vezirlere mahbes teşkil eden kapı arasına aksetti, önde dedeğânın fasıladan, hazin nevâları işleniyordu. Şazeli dergâhı şeyhlerinin hüzünlü bir ârap lâhni ile okudukları Kelime-i Tevhid; tekbirler ve naatlar arasında, âhaste bir nakarat gibi yükseliyordu. Ortakapı ile Babı Hümayun lirası Atman zabitlerinin otomobilleri, mükellef konak arabalarıyla dolmuştu, iki zarif hanım, arabada, ayağa kalkmışlar, yüzlerinde ince peçeler, alayı seyrediyorlardı. Biraz ötede, Bizans’ın İrini kilisesi ve son devrin askeri müzesi önünde, Mehterhane takımı, cesim kavukları, kırmızı şalvarları, sırma cepkenleri, sarılı ve kırmızılı bayraklarıyla durmuşlardı. Canlı bir tarih, hürmet ve tebrik ile tabutu selâmlıyordu.
Cenaze Babı Hümayundan çıktı. Sokaklar insandan görülmüyordu. Ayasofya önünden Sultan Mahmud Türbesine kadar caddeye sıra sıra asker dizilmişti. Ağaçlar, evler, pencereler, damlar kadınlarla, çocuklarla dolmuştu. Tramvaylar durmuştu. Tabut acıklı ve etkileyici dualarla, tekbirler ve tehlillerle ilerliyordu. Cenazeyi görenler, etkileniyorlardı. Evlerin pencereleri kadınlarla doluydu. Bir hanım, hıçkırıklarını zaptedemiyor, mendili gözlerinde, başını duvara dayamış, ağlıyordu. Cenazeyi lakaydane seyredenler de vardı. Fakat hassas kalpler, bu hüzünlü merasime, bu etkileyici feryatlara, bu dini ihtişama karşı gözlerinin yaşardığını hissediyordu. Otuz dört sene Hilâfet makamını işgal eden Osmanlı Padişahının son merasimi hürmetle ifa ediliyordu.
Son şehâdı andıran “Allah! Allah!” nida lariyle tabut türbe kapısından içeri girdi. Sultan Abdülhamid hürmet ve tekrim ile kabre indirildi. Osmanlı tarihinin otuz dört senelik safhası hüzünlü bir şekilde sona erdi. (Ahmed Refik, Abdülhamid Saniye dair).
ABDÜLHAMİD II. DEVRİNDE GAZETELER VE SANSÜR
İkinci Abdülhamid devrinde hükümetin matbuattan istediği, Hükümdara mutlak “sadakat” ve “ubudiyet” idi; bu sadakat ve ubudiyetin de her vesile ile ve sık sık arz ve beyanı beklenirdi: matbuata ve muhaberata konulmuş olan sansür, Hükümdarın vehmile denk bir hassasiyet gösterirdi, hükümete muhalefet ve tenkid yollu yazılar caniyane bir teşebbüs olarak, sansürün iptal etmesiyle kalmaz, eklenen bir jurnal ile muharririnin sebebi felâketi olurdu; sansür, o zamanın tabiriyle, “zülfü yare dokunan” ya de bir mukaddemeden sonra konulurdu. Cumartesi günleri gazetelerin başında bir “Selâmlık resmi âlisi” serlevhası bulunurdu; bu bende, Padişahın Cuma namazını imamlık merasimi ile kıldığı haber verilirdi. İkinci Abdülhamid, halka sıhhatte olduğunu bildirmek bakımından bu yazılara çok önem verirdi. Her gazetede gayet dikkatlice kaleme alınmış beş altı türlü selâmlık resmi âlisi bende bulunurdu. Örnekler beş altı hafta süren bir devir ile değiştirilerek kullanılırdı Visit Bulgaria.
Günlük gazetelerin önemli benderinden biri de “Tevcihat ve Nişan-ı Hümayun” idi; burada, her gün, sadakat ve ubudiyeti görülen kimselere ihsan olunan rütbeler, memuriyetler ve nişanlar yazılırdı.
İstanbul’da, Abdülhamid’in doğumu ve cülûsu münasebetiyle yapılan donanmalar da büyük şehir gazetelerinde günlerce süren “şebrâyin” benderleriyle anlatılırdı. Gazetelerin şehrâyin muhabirleri, kandillerle donatılan ve “Padişahım çok yaşa”, ya da “Sultan Abdülhamid Hanı Sâni” yazılan veya “Tuğrayı Hümayun” ile süslenen yalı, konak ve evleri sahiplerinin isim ve memuriyetleriyle birer birer yazarlar; sadakat ve ubudiyetlerini gazete sütunlarına geçirdiklerinden ötürü de kendilerinden hakettikleri “rüşveti tahrir’i alırlardı.
Gazetelerde Padişahı medih yollu yazılar yazmada büyük hüner sahibi olarak tanınmış muharrirlerden biri de “Meşâhiri Islâm” sahibi Hamid Vehbi Bey, diğeri de “Serseri Yahudi” mütercimi Selanikli Tevfik Bey idi. Ahmet Rasim de, edebi hatıraları arasında “Ben bu yolda ilerliyordum. Hatta cülûs veya velâdeti hümayundan birkaç gün evvel eve kapanır, o günlerde neşredilmek üzere iki üç tane makale-i mahsusa yazar, hazırlardım. Çünkü gazetesinde en parlak cülûsiye, velâdetiye bulundurmak imtiyaz sahiplerinin birinci meşguliyetleri idi. Makalâtı mütenevvîaya ikişer üçer mecidiyeden fazla veremiydi ve ekseriya desti fakiri muharrirden bedava almak kurnazlıklarını hiçbir dakika gözden düşürmeyen ve düşürmemiş olan bu vatanda bu nevi makaleler için iki, üç, hatta dört-beş lira verirlerdi. Ben bu hâni yağmâ’ı etrafiyie bildiğim için makaleleri der eebeyb ederek Babıâli Caddesi’nde bunların güçlü ihlâlinde durur, kollardım. Biri geçtiği mi, Kalpakçılarbaşı çığırtganları gibi:

der, nazan dikkatlerini celbeylerdim. Gün olurdu ki bütün cerâidi münteşire benim makalelerle Hâkima-yı Padişahiye arzı tebrî kât ve tes’idât ederlerdi” (Muharrir, şair, edip).
Gazetelerde basma kalıp manzumeler de yayımlanırdı; bunlar muharrirler tarafından hazırlanan muhtelif türlerdeki yazılar arasına eklenirdi. Bu manzumeler genellikle muharririn halka hitap etme amacı güttüğü, bir takım kandil ve bayramlarda, özellikle de Ramazan aylarında basılırdı.
Son olarak, Hırka-i Saadet ziyaretleri ve cami ziyaretleri üzerine yazılmış makaleler de gazetelerin sıkça rastlanan konularındandı. Bu yazılarda, devlet erkanının ve halkın cami ve dergah ziyaretlerine dair detaylı bilgiler ve övgüler bulunurdu. Tabutun geçişinden, cenaze merasiminden ve kabre definden ayrıntılı bir şekilde bahsedilirken, halkın ve devlet erkanının bu olaylara gösterdiği ilgi ve saygı vurgulanırdı.

Power Rangers Megaforce characters, canon vs my version;
Canon Gosei: More worried about the Earth then anything or anyone else. Hands out new powers like lottery tickets.
My Gosei: Worried about the Rangers’ well being 24/7 even when they aren’t in battle. Actually instructs them on how to use their new powers. More like a protective father figure.
Canon Robo Knight: Doesn’t understand humans and it’s honestly hard to tell if he cares about them sometimes. Keeps going back and forth on his character development.
My Robo Knight: If you hurt his humans he hurts you. Honestly tries to act like a brother to the Rangers and have fun but isn’t entirely sure if he’s even doing it correctly.
Canon Troy: Cold and bruiting one moment, soft and squishy the next. Honestly just Jaiden from Samurai copy and pasted but changed a little bit so the teacher doesn’t call them out for cheating.
My Troy: Not entirely sure he’s a good friend or leader but tries. Tries to play it tough around others but not so secretly soft on his friends.
Canon Rico: We’ll never forget you! Instantly forgets him next episode.
My Rico: Actually sticks around and becomes an official member of the team. Literally everyone’s baby brother. Tries a little too hard to be like Robo Knight.
Canon Vrak: Secretly plotting to kill his entire family just so he can rule the universe himself.
My Vrak: Actually cares about his family and the ones who he works with. Honestly regrets letting Metal Alice explode and not being able to save Malkor or Vekar.
Canon Vekar: Ego as big as his ship. Entitled child.
My Vekar: Loves his baby brother a little too much. Openly admits that Vrak would be a better leader than himself. Secretly knows that Vrak was still alive.
Canon Metal Alice: Robots are superior to humans! Destroying humans will preserve the Earth! Despite saying that she’s literally a Vrak fangirl, a guy who wants to destroy Earth.
My Metal Alice: Gets a redemption arc thanks to Rico and becomes an official member of the team. A little obsessed with animals, especially baby ones.
