A/n: just for clarification, this starts when Vee is pretending to be Luz.

You had escaped the Emperor's Coven and into the human realm a few months ago. And currently, you were living in a random shed you found. Listen, you weren't homeless! You're just... Okay, there is no good way to phrase this, you are homeless. But on the plus side, you have an area to camp out in and a school lunch! Speaking of school, it's time to go to school.

You quickly shape-shifted into the human form you've been taking. It's a bit of a mix-mash of other people you've seen. It does stop people from getting you in trouble with a person whose form you took though. You quickly ran to school.

Once you got to school you saw your friend Luz. She always seemed very familiar since the moment you met her. She reminded you of your old life, but somehow in a good way? "Y/N! how's it going?" "Pretty good!" She smiled sweetly. you felt a warm feeling in your heart as she smiled. "Same here! I've been doing some cleaning." You paused. "How did you earn the reputation as a 'trouble-maker?' You're so chill!" You said. Luz seemed to get oddly nervous, "Well one summer can really change a person, y'know." You nodded. "Yeah, it's like you're a whole different person though!" "I wouldn't say that." You dropped the topic because it seemed to be freaking her out. The bell rang and you both went to your respective classes.

Soon class started. But you weren't really paying attention. You were more focused on Luz's reaction. That might have been when of the most nervous she had been. At least around you. Soon the bell rang that snapped you out of your thoughts. When you walked out you saw Luz talking to one of her other friends in the hallway. You looked at Luz and you could've sworn you saw her blink sideways. At first, you didn't think much about it until you remembered that humans don't do that. You rubbed your eyes and looked at her again. She blinked again, normally. So, you chalked it up to you being tired or something.

Luz looked at you and walked up to you. "Hey, Y/n!" She waved, "Wanna hang out later." You nodded. "Okay, I've never seen your house so-" "No!" You accidentally shouted. Which earned you a few weird looks from other kids and a concerned look from Luz. "Um- I mean, I like your place a lot more. So I want to go to your house instead." You said nervously. "Oookay?" Luz said, "Yeah we'll just go to my place." You sighed in relief. "What time should it be at?" Luz asked. "Um around 8?" "Sure!"

After a few more hours school ended. You gather all your stuff and run to the shed you call home. Once you got there you sighed. You only had enough magic for a week. Even if you used as little as possible. But at least you could hang out with Luz later, that could take your mind off it, if only for a few hours. You lay your head back on the wall.

Suddenly you heard footsteps in the other room. You got up to check it out when suddenly there were banging noises. You ran as fast as you could. You peaked slightly around the corner. And there, in the middle of your shed, was another basilisk. You froze, not sure of what the right way to react was.

A small mirror with a messy-haired Luz caught your attention. You tried to speak but your voice was caught in your throat so you stood still. "Stop moving, you'll make it tighter!" The Luz in the mirror said, "I didn't mean to freak you out. I just want to figure it out, okay?" "Mhm." "Your a demon, from the Boiling Isles. What's your name?" "I'm number five- I mean, I'm Vee." Your eyes widened with shock. Not only was she the closest to you when you were still imprisoned. But she also seems to have been impersonating Luz!

"Okay, Vee, I'm going to help free you. You're going to be alright. Now, back up a bit, give it some slack." Luz instructed, "Now look for a little metal thing-a-ma-boba, sorry I don't know what it's called." Vee pulled on it and released her leg. "There you go!" She jumped out of the trap quickly. You suck in your breath and walked to the basement door. You entered and quietly closed the door.

You just stared at the wall for a few moments. There were a million thoughts going through your mind. Well, God that explains a lot. you went back upstairs hoping they left. Thankfully they did. So you went outside hoping to organically run into Vee.

After a while of walking, you spotted Masha and her other friends. They were holding hexes hold'em cards which had the scent of magic on them. You concluded this would be your highest chance of seeing Vee. "Hey, guys!" You waved. "Hey Y/N!" Masha greeted, "I got some tarot cards I was just giving him a reading." They pointed to their friend. They cleared their throats, "As I was saying, a past connection that left a mark on your soul, has shown up again. And is asking you to shed your old ways and enter a metamorphosis! And be the spiritual leader you were meant to be" "Yeah, that sounds about right." The guy who they were giving a reading to said.

Suddenly Vee appeared. "Yes!" You mentally cheered. "Hello." She greeted you. "Oh, hey Luz! Nice to see you out of prison." "Oh come on, camp wasn't that bad. We did have the best cabin." Cabin seven! Ho-ha-ha" They all said in unison then laughed. You giggled at their goofiness.

"Cool cards, where'd you get them?" She went to grab the card but Masha grabbed it first. Uh-uh. Let me give you a reading first. I wanna practice." They laid three cards down, "You're running from your past. From a previous life that was not kind to you. However, the guilt and fear you carry will eventually catch you in a self-fulfilling prophecy that you won't be able to escape from. You're going to need some bath bombs, girl." You felt slightly tense, it might've been for Vee, but it hit way too close to you as well.

Masha started collecting the cards, "Anyway, I got the cards over at the Graves Field historical society." "Thanks, I'll see you around." Vee got up and started leaving. "Did you see the look in her eyes? I got to find out where she got those contacts." Vee leaving snapped you out of your thoughts. "Here why don't I go find out right now?" You said. "Thanks." With that, you got up and started walking toward Vee.

Once you finally entered you heard Vee and Luz around the corner. "I know what it's like to want to run away from home. I did the same thing." "You and I are not the same. You had a mom that Loved you, a life. You had it good! And you still wanted to run away. I-I didn't have a choice." You cringed slightly at her last sentence. "My real name is Number Five. I'm a Basilisk, and technically I-I shouldn't exist. My kind went extinct a long time ago. But we were brought back. They wanted to see how we drained magic." "I met a Basilisk one. She hurt a lot of people." "For many of us all we knew how to do was feed. Some of us escaped, but I knew it was only a matter of time before he caught us again. But then I saw you and you could be a way out of this!" Vee explained, "I didn't mean to keep playing this role but Camila was nice to me. I resent you for running away. But I'm also thankful you did. I don't know, it's confusing."

Vee turned to you and loudly gasped. You nervously waved. "How much did you hear..?" Vee asked nervously. You dry swallowed, "Umm, all of it." Vee's face went pale. "Y-y/n-" "I'll be fine. You seem to need help." "I do. But you can't do anything. Please, just leave for now." You opened your mouth to speak but words didn't come out. You sighed, nodded, then left. "Did you find out where she got them?" Masha asked when you walked by. "Huh?" "The contacts!" "Oh- um- no she forgot." "Awh, that sucks. Thanks anyway." You nodded and began walking home.

It had been a little less than a week since "Luz '' came to school. Your hope of even seeing her again kept dwindling. But on a saturday morning your phone rang. Your eyes lit up seeing who sent it. Luz. You quickly opened it. "Hey y/n it's been awhile. Can I come over please?" You looked at your phone. "There's a shed by your house, can we met there?" you texted.

What you thought was going to happen, was Vee texting you yes and a time. Not suddenly getting a text telling you that she's at the shed. Your phone rung and your heart sank reading the message. Suddenly your door opened and Vee stood, looking at you in a similar manner as you first looked at her. As quickly as you could, you shapeshifted into your usual form. "Sup-surprise." Vee teared up.

"You okay-" "Number seven!" She ran over and hugged you, "I missed you!" You smiled, "Yep, seems no matter the realm we'll be friends. But I'm running out of magic..." "Oh!" Vee exclaimed. She pulled some cards out of her pocket. "The cards Masha was using had magic! There from the demon realm." "Thanks Vee!" "Anything for us not to be split up again."

Hexsquad going trick or treating in the human realm w/ Vee and Camilla and our favorite local witches (and Luz) missing their families mayhaps?

"Your candies weird it gets all stuck behind my fangs." Hunter states as he opens his mouth and swipes his tongue behind his teeth to dislodge the caramel. Thinking back to what Luz said about Boiling Isles sweets you paused.

"The coven let you have candy?" Smacking your arm in protest of the joke you chuckle letting him take another piece as compensation. As he bit into the next one you smiled at him. "It's good though isn't it?" You ask as you take out your favorite candy from your pillow case and unwrap it before you begin to chew on it.

"... Yeah." He states moving his jaw around before he sticks his hand in your candy bag looking for yet another piece. Gus seeing the opportunity also reaches into your bag.

"Yeah go ahead." You tease letting them loot your supply despite the fact they had their own. It was their first Halloween after all and you'd rather they take from your bag then someone elses and get on trouble. As much as you hated sharing your loot you didn't mind in this case. Besides tomorrow you could buy candy for half off so this was more for fun than anything.

"Thanks (Y/N)." Gus chirps as he swings his candy pail around a large smile on his face.

"Your welcome." You hum with a soft smile. So far this Halloween was going great.

"Free candy." Luz states with a smirk as she suddenly dives into your pillowcase while you're distracted by your thoughts. As a cold breeze rushes past leaves twirling on the ground you glare at her but she either doesn't care or isn't scared.

"Okay who else?" You question wanting everyone to get their fill so you could start filling up again. Willow looked at you with puppy eyes and as Amity grabs one of Luzes favorite so she can have extra later you rolled your eyes.

"You better share your candy later." You hum. Buying your own later or not they were still stealing.

"Promise." Luz states but as you step up to the next house and knock on the door your pretty sure she's sticking her tongue out at you.

"Trick or treat." You all state and despite knowing your candies gonna get stolen at least your having fun now.

"Race ya to the next house!" Gus yells and as you're all laughing and chasing after him you've never felt happier.

it wasn’t much but it was all you had

you two in particular were as thick as thieves

until you weren’t

until the day you all escaped and you lost her in the chaos — you fleeing deep into the woods and her going titan knows where

it wasn’t like you could go out looking for her, not when the covens were out searching for you

all you could do was hope to anything and everything that she was still alive and that you weren’t alone

and on her end, vee spent her time in the human realm drowning in guilt and anxiety — feeling horrible for leaving you behind whilst knowing that she was doing what she needed to do in order to survive

… she tries not to think about you and the others much

not until after her new sister has defeated belos and reclaimed the isle for its inhabitants

not until she walks back through the portal for the first time in month and catches sight of a familiar tail slithering back into the forest

not until she tears up and drops her form and pretty much sprints after you

screaming your name and tackling you to the forest floor as you both sob and cry and cling to each other so tightly

like the moment you let go she’d disappear

again

and you’re just holding each other’s faces and grinning and rubbing your noses together and purring and sobbing and crying

you’re both talking but it’s incoherent — a million questions asked in seconds as you’re both still in disbelief that you both survived

then you stop and breath and just rest your forehead against hers, holding her close as you silently cry — so relieved to have her back

you can hear someone — several someones, actually — calling out for her and you look at her questioningly, which she responds to with an awkward grin and shrug

it seems you have a lot more to catch up on than you thought

Hey! First of all, I've been reading your posts recently, and I can tell you how impressive it is to capture the essence of the characters! It is, without a doubt, surprising! So, there are Headcanonns I'd like to order, please. Could a Vee x Reader be possible? (NSFW, as usual). By the way, to give more “backstory” to such Headcannons, I imagined the Reader has a habit of trying to hide their own appearance. Specifically: a reader who, suffering from frail health that brings a dejected look, is constantly trying to hide it, whether out of shame or insecurity. Basically a Vee x Physically fragile! Reader. Keep up the great work!

VEE X PHYSICALLY FRAGILE!READER [NSFW HEADCANNONS]

I absolutely did NOT turn bright red while reading this, seeing my ugly splotchy tomato face in the mirror in my room, nope nope no sir but thank you for your kind words ❤️

-She gets it, she gets it, okay?

-She hasn’t been insecure about herself looks-wise, but being a basilisk, she understands the want to hide how you look, to hide how you are whether it’s out of shame or trying to protect yourself.

-But she never wants you to hide around her, never, you made her feel like she can be herself around you, not somebody else, she felt so safe around you.

-She’d kiss your soft, delicate skin, convincing you to take your shirt off took a long time, but when you finally felt comfortable enough, she’d be so gentle.

-The heating would be on, the windows closed tight to fight against the chill of the rain pouring down, she didn’t want to risk any cold getting in and potentially harming you, especially with minimal clothing.

-Speaking of minimal clothing, she’d be really bashful seeing you without a shirt, she usually shyed away from these things, but she wanted to prove that you can be confident in yourself, and that means being confident herself.

-the growing redness of her face would only inflame when she took off her own shirt, the toasty air brushing against her skin, she was embarrassed but it wouldn’t be fair to make only you get undressed.

-You’d give her a slow, long kiss, pulling away only slightly so your breaths still brushed against each other, you wrapped your arms around her shoulders.

-She returned the embrace, wrapping her arms around your waist and pulling you as close as possible, lingering for a moment, this was new territory for both of you, but it was a step you wanted to take.

-Vee tended to be more submissive, she has her fierce moments, especially when bursting into the museum, ready to defend herself against that creep, but when it came to this,

-She wanted to be more dominant, she worried about you a lot, straining yourself could cause damage and she would rather be locked in another cage than that.

-She’d gently push against your chest, not forceful but suggesting you lay down against the bed, and you complied, laying down against the layers of pillows and blankets she’d set up for you.

-Oh your voice, she loved your voice so much, your tone wasn’t loud or booming, which is something she appreciated and loved, but the force behind your words, the intelligent words you have to say, she adores it.

-She’d gently run her hands down your arms, up and down your shoulders, hating the way you tense slightly.

-Your health made you thinner, and not in the Hollywood way, your skin was thin and your bones protruded slightly, denting your pale skin, you covered it up with baggy clothing, but bared before your girlfriend,

-She saw everything, she saw it and she still loved it anyway.

-The gentle kiss you shared when she leans down, not straddling your hips but on her knees between your spread thighs, pressed almost completely against you, spoke more than words ever could.

-It was sweet, slow, and oh so tender, everyone’s been so gentle around you all your life, and sometimes you hated how you were treated like glass, but with Vee, you were treated more like a deity, something to be worshipped.

-She squirmed slightly, remembering something she’d seen in a movie before Camilla covered her eyes, and softly took the skin of your lower neck in her mouth, sucking gently.

-Your hips bucked softly at the sensation of her warm wet mouth on your sensitive skin, and when it made contact with her clothed crotch a electric spark shoots through both of you.

-Small, simultaneous noises escaped both your lips, and for a moment, you both stilled, stunned.

-It seemed to feel the same way for Vee, because she almost unconsciously rubbed more forceful against you, not even close enough to hurting.

-You welcomed it, it was a strange sensation, and you both fumbled for a rhythm for a moment, before you feel into something semi-simultaneous.

-She kept her face buried in your neck, her lips parted slightly in soft, quiet pants and breathes, the hot air against your neck making you shiver and buck your hips slightly.

-Then she pushed slightly harder against your crotch, letting out a small moan of pleasure, wrapping her arms around you and burrowing further into your body.

-The thunder, the crackle of lighting hid your noises, the soft moans, the gasps of pleasure, but it echoed throughout the room, the sound of the others pleasure only increasing the friction between each other.

-She slowly sped up, the beat of her rhythm similar to the one you’d shared only moments ago.

---Hunter's pov---

"hunter over here!" Someone yelled, i turned around to see that that someone was y/n, a warm mile appeared on my face as they flailed their arms around

"coming!" I yelled running towards them as i giggled in excitement, i was soon right next to them as they jumped up and down, i looked at them confused, not knowing what they were exited about

"what's up?" I asked

"today's the opening of the carnival dummy! I'm so exited that you actually gave up your free day to go to the carnival with me!" They yelled excitedly as they ran around in circles

"well anything for a friend!" I said as i took their hand, i could have swore i saw them frown but when i turned around to look at them they had a huge smile on their face so i thought nothing of it

"never thought kids would be that dangerous." Y/n said as i chuckled

"you sould haw listened to my warnings" i said biting down on my pretzel

"well you know i don't listen to you." They mumbled sitting next to me

"that's concerning considering that i am THE golden guard." I proclaimed as i flipped my hair 'worm' as y/n called it, they giggled as they looked at the sunset i just couldn't help but admire their beautiful face how their beautiful h/l h/c hair matched their perfect face and beautiful e/c coloured eyes, wait what am i thinking?!?! Their my best friend!

"what're you staring at Goldie?" They asked as they turned towards me

"do i have left over mud on my face from wrestling that pig?" They asked as i chuckled

"yes actually, right... there." I said as i reached out to their cheek and started to rub off the mud, but i just couldn't stop myself from focusing on their face again, 'my Titan- they looked so beautiful from this angle' i thought as i put y hand under their chin

They were quite surprised by this action as their blush quickly caught on their cheeks and ears, i slowly started to lean in as i closed my eyes and right as our lips were about to touch they screamed out

"WAKE UP SLEEPY HEAD ITS THE MORNING!" they yelled as their face morphed in to Luz's face?!?!

I jumped up from my matrice as i screamed in fear

"oh my Titan Luz! You scared me half to death!" I screamed at the girl

"yeah yeah whatever, you must have been having a great dream because you didn't reply when we called you for breakfast, you even didn't wake up when Vee tried to wake you up, which is pretty rare." She said as she got up, "anyway breakfast is ready and everyone is waiting for you so hurry up and get dressed!" She added as she walked out of the room and slammed the door shut, i let out a long sigh and flopped down on the bed as i repeated the last scenes of my dream, excluding when Luz tried to wake me up of course, and it was like a memory i had when me and my friend y/n went to the carnival, but I'm guessing my mind just switched on what actually happened, but why did it do that? Why do i blush every time i think about them? Why-

"HUNTER!" Mrs Noceda yelled

"COMING!" I yelled back as i jumped from my matrice and flew out of the door to the dining room, as flapjack quickly followed me

Throughout the whole week that dream kept repeating over and over in my dreams, as well as some of the other memory's i had with her that were also flipped and changed around, and every time i think about them i feel weak in the knee's, and the only logical way, at least for me, was to ask for help, so i went to Gus, probably not my best option but everyone else was out grocery shopping so he was my only hope

"hey Gus?" I said as i entered the bedroom that all of us were sharing

"hey hunter!" He said enthusiasticly as he paused whatever he was watching and turned to me

"what do you need?" He asked, i sighed and sat down next to him

"I'm having confusing feelings." I said, looking down at the floor

"well, umm, if you want me to help you can explain those feelings?" He said, well more like questioned, i nodded

"well umm, there's this friend that i had back at the Boiling Isles, before even we caught the owl lady for the first time and their name was y/n, and recently I've been thinking more and more about them, like having these strange dreams with us almost kissing at the end of them or something like that, and every time they cross my mind my knees feel weak, heat rises to my cheeks and i feel like i want to throw up butterfly's, and when the thought of them getting hurt from the collector, or anyone for that matter, i feel sad and weak, the thought of anything happening to them makes me want to murder the person or thing that did anything to them, even if the witch, monster or thing is ten times stronger than me, i-i just want to give them everything i have, but i feel like that still won't be enough, like if i could give them the whole world i would, and yeah that's pretty much it." I said as i finally looked at Gus, to see him in complete shock, i mean eyes wide mouth open kind of shock

"what?" I said, i then heard multiple screeches from the door, oh no

"OH MY TITAN, HUNTER YOU HAVE A CRUSH!" Amity screamed

"THIS MOMENT NEEDS TO BE SAVED!" Luz screeched as she ran in the room and took her phone that was previously playing whatever Gus was watching

"No, nonononononono, it's not like that! I don't have a crush!" I said nervously laughing as i scratched the back of my head

"well it doesn't sound like it!" Luz said as she played a recording... OF MY RANT?!?!

"You, RECORDED THIS!" i yelled at her ad i jumped up from the floor

"of course i record everything." She said shaking her phone left and right a bit before stopping

"whatever I'll just go and get some fresh air." I said as i pushed past the girls, that were swarming at the door

"don't run away from the truth!" Luz screamed as i rolled my eyes and scoffed, i got a beanie that was on the coat hanger and put it on covering my half of my ears as i went outside towards the worn down cabin, and how we all got to the human realm in the first place, i sighed and frowned as i looked back at the sad memory but quickly shook my head as kind of a sign for my head to shut up, i soon felt something light stand on my shoulder as i looked to my right to see flapjack standing there, he chirped happily as i smiled and petted him

"you always manage to cheer me up, just like y/n."

I soon saw the cabin behind the trees and i let out a sad sigh, when i arrived at the front door of the cabin i looked at it for a good minute, my mind re-imagining what happened almost a month ago, i reached for the doorknob and took a deep breath, i closed my eyes and opened the door, i waited a few seconds, already hearing flapjack chirping but i brushed it off and thought he saw a pigeon or something like that, i opened my left eye a little bit before both of my eyes opened widely in shock, it looked beautiful, all kinds of colours were splotched all around and it looked like there were some stars

"woah." I said underneath my breath, but that amazement slowly turned in to fear as i saw a figure coming in to sight, i took a step back but i forgot that it was an old cabin so i tripped on a loose peace of wood and fell just before the stairs, the figure got closer and closer and it got more familiar

"Hun€r?" A corrupted voice asked as i froze in fear, it knew my name

"Hunter?" A more clear voice called out, and my eyes went wide, not from fear, but from shock and happiness, that voice sounded like

"Y/n?" I asked as i stood up, soon the shadow started sprinting towards me and as it went through the portal the shadow quickly became a figure i could remember

"Y/N!" i screamed out of happiness as i wrapped my hands around their waist and spined them in circles, we both let out laughs and giggles of happiness, as we fell on the soft grass, laughing lightly, as soon as my laughter died down, i hugged them tightly and buried my face in to their neck

"I'm so glad you're here." I said

"me too Goldie." Y/n said as she returned the hug with equal strength, my eyes started to tear up as i started to sob, i could also hear y/n sobbing, but between the sobbing slowly started to form laughing

"god why are we so sensitive." Y/n said as they laughed, tears streaming down their face, probably from the intense happiness that they were experiencing, i mean i couldn't blame them, i was also crying, but i was as well getting snot all over their what looks to be dirty shirt

"i don't know!" I laughed along as i finally got my face out of their neck wiping the snot off of my nose

"I'm sorry that i got snot on your shirt." I said as i continued wiping my nose with my hand

"not a problem, I've been through worse for the past month or so, but don't worry tho, it wasn't that bad." they said as they brushed off the snot of themselves

We stared in to each other's eyes for a while, i couldn't take it anymore! I grabbed their chin

"consent?" I asked laughing a little, they just groaned

"c'mere you!" They said as they grabbed the back of my head and connected sour lips

It felt like fireworks were erupting everywhere as we were kissing, and i couldn't be more happier, as we pulled away i opened my eyes and looked deeply in to theirs

"wait- you cut your worm!" They yelled as they got up

"oh c'mon it was about time i cut it off!" I yelled

"but i liked the worm, i even gave it a name!" They yelled as they crossed their arms, suddenly chirps were heard next to me, and what seemed to be a sound of someone familiar talking

"y/n, i re-eat do y- copy?" A glitched out voice was heard, y/n quickly grabbed a walkie talkie "Yes i copy!" They yelled at the walkie talkie "can you hear me?" They questioned, "y-s we can, bu-t it's a bi- glitchy." The voice said, "h-ow is it there?" The voice, "it's fine but it is far to risky to sent another person through the portal, i barely ended up finding the portal to the human realm." They said, "ok-y the portal i-s closing stay in the human realm and find Lu-" before the person on the other end could finish their sentence the door to the cabin slammed shut

"who was that?" I asked

"Eda, we were on a mission to get all of you back and find a way to create a new key for the portal we have created but it took me way to long to find the human realm and now we're stuck here again, and it's all my fault." Y/n said as they started to tear up

"nonononononono, wait- don't cry, were gonna find a way to get to the other realm, i mean you already found a way! It's just gonna get faster from here." I said as i hugged them from behind, we stayed like that for a few minutes until a question popped up in my head

"say... How'd you get the titans blood anyway?" "I'd rather not go in to detail." Y/n said as she shivered

"okay? Wanna go to your new temporary home darling?" I said as i stood up and extended my hand

"oh of course my love." They said as they took my hand and we started walking towards Luz's house

"i love you Hunter." They said as they rested their head on my shoulder, still holding my hand

"I love you too y/n." I said as i interlocked our fingers and by doing that resting our hands in a more comfortable position

Well everyone is gonna freak out

↳ Until you had been called in as a suspect of being involved with the human girl by Belos, where he had written your birth name on the letter you’d been sent.

↳ Amity was shocked. And very confused.

↳ Amity when she read your name on the letter:

↳ “N/n, has one of Belos coven scouts messed up who the letter was for?”

↳ You: ”???🤨 no?”

↳ And now we’ve found the problem.

↳ Amity doesn’t know your real name!!

↳ “Amity, I’ve just realised I’ve never told you my legal name is Y/n.”

↳ “But, you write N/n on where you sign your name, even school work.”

↳ “Oh, right, when my parents put me in Hexside, they were given an option on the paperwork that I would be able to have a preferred name, and they put N/n as the optional option.”

↳ Amity questions everything now. Mainly things to do with you and Luz.

↳ Fastest to figure it out, everyone else took at least a few weeks.

Gus Porter

↳ Depending on the timeline, and wether you’re a witch, human or some other specie, also impacts how you got your nickname.

↳ Gus learns your name when you and him get put in detention.

↳ Principal Bump has caught you, Luz and Gus sneaking around Hexside, and throws you 3 + Matt into detention.

↳ Detention shrieks your names, before attempting to catch you and lock you in its pods.

↳ Gus is to terrified to question it about right then and there, but he does after Luz is accepted into Hexside.

↳ “Detention called you Y/N. How come?”

↳ “It’s my name??”

↳ *insert little dorky smirk*

↳ Gus just nods, also smiling.

↳ “Both your name and nickname are cool.”

↳ He gives you a fist bump, partly cause your names are awesome, mostly cause surviving detention is not only difficult but equally terrifying and it’s respectable you got out with him and Luz.

↳ Rip Matt.

Hooty

↳ He gives you a nickname within a nickname.

↳ And then forgets your nickname.

↳ But it’s okay cause we love him all the same!

↳ Hooty is always shocked when Luz or Eda call you by your nickname, cause that’s not your name!

↳ Was even more shocked when he learned your name was actually Y/n.

↳ “But I call you H/n (Hooty’s Nickname), and everyone else calls you N/n! How are neither your real name!?”

↳ Ensues him beating the coven scouts harder the next time they try to arrest Eda.

↳ Hooty forgets your name again btw.

↳ Just let him think H/n is your name to avoid maximum chaos.

Hunter Noceda

↳ He meets you during the hunting Palismen episode. You and Luz had been sitting in the little house the bat queen had for the babies so she could have a Palismen.

↳ You had gotten your Palismen the day before along with the rest of your class and Luz gave you several nicknames, trying to figure out which ones would suit you and your baby best.

↳ It took her 20 minutes I shall add.

↳ Anyway- when Hunter came to take the Palismen back to Belos, he heard Luz use your nickname, and just assumed it was your real name.

↳ This dork however, didn’t bother using your ‘name’ and instead called you ‘wild witch’. Any witch associated with the human is known as a wild witch.

↳ Basically up until you’re all in the human realm, Hunter only knows you as N/n, and doesn’t really question you about whatsoever.

↳ Then Luz introduces all of you to Vee and Camila, where she uses your real name.

↳ “And this is Y/n, but we all call them N/n cause it matches their Palismen.”

↳ Hunter just stands there, processing the information.

↳This boy is so clueless, that he asks you about, wanting you to confirm it.

↳ “N/n isn’t your real name like Luz said, right?”

↳ “Yeah, it’s actually Y/n, Luz is the one who gave me the nickname.”

↳ “Oh.”

↳ And then he continues on with his day.

↳ Will use either your nickname or real name, it’s just whatever comes to mind when he talks to you.

King

↳ Met you through Luz, as one of her first friends:D

↳ He just called you a puny mortal. At first at least.

↳ He slowly shifted into calling you N/n, as he got closer to you.

Ask: Okay okay so halloween req right? i have to different ideas that you can choose from 👯‍♀️ SO there’s either doing that sheet blanket ghost thing that went trending on tiktok ORRRR CARVING PUMPKINS?!!!! both with hunter ofc and his very lovely human!s/o?

It starts as Luz and Guses idea but Willow really helps execute it! While Gus knows about pumpkin carving from human media and books he's seen and read in the Isles, Luz and you are the only resident humans. So while Guess enthusiasm is cute your the ones who actually explain what pumpkin carvings are used for and how to do them. Willow grows and makes the pumpkins while you tell the others how to carve.

You set up in the yard outside. Plastic garbage bags and other precautionary measures are taken so there isn't a huge mess. Camilla says she doesn't mind pumpkin guts as long as they stay outside and wants pictures when you're all done since she has some errands to run.

First before you carve the pumpkins you have to gut them. Showing your friends how to cut the top off, you twist the stem and pull up bringing a bunch of guys out. They copy with mixed results and soon a pumpkin gut war breaks out. Amity pulls a little too hard and smacks poor Willow In the face with some guts. She then proceeds to scoop out a handful of her own and toss it at back at Amity. Soon sides and alliance's are being formed and pumpkin guts are being tossed all around the yard as you all laugh.

Now that the pumpkins are hollow and the guts have been used you put them aside and begin to clean the yard up. You place the guts into a pile on a garbage bag and begin to separate the seeds explaining you can bake them later. The kids excited to try human food and take part in this human tradition are quick to help. There's a pile for salvageable guts and a pile for grass and mud stained guts. Whatever can't be picked up is sprayed with water to spread out into the yard.

Once the wars over and everything's all cleaned up you and Luz get back to your carving lesson.

Hunter while being the most proficient with a knife in the group is not the best artist. His first pumpkin carving is mostly stabbing and while he's definitely making precise stabbing marks that's not really the goal. You giggle before offering to help and he accepts. Placing your hands on top of Hunters you help him carve a large smile on your face as you and him try and make a wolf.

You all have fun making your pumpkins. While all of them come out a bit wonky it's less about how they look and more about how they make you feel. You decide to give each pumpkin a reward, the others in the group getting to decide the rewards name.

Luzes looks the best because she's had the most practice so she gets the Perfect Pumpkin Reward. You and Hunter come in second place with Wildest Pumpkin Award since you did a wild wolf. Willows gets the scariest award with a creepy face she carved and Guses gets the silliest as he made a joke. Meanwhile Amity is rewarded with the neatest pumpkin title as her lines are the cleanest and Vee is given the sweetest pumpkin award because she carved a cute kitty.

You all have fun putting your pumpkins and the porch and lighting your pumpkins with candles. While they weren't the greatest looking pumpkins you had a lot of fun making them.

Bonus: Cardinals you learn LOVE pumpkin seeds. FlapJack gets a belly ache from eating too many from the carnage that was your pumpkin guts war.

you’d known each other since he went by the ‘golden guard’ title — back when he was someone entirely different, but even then there was definitely something between you

faint and flickering and indistinct but nonetheless there

then when he went from guard to hunter your relationship evolved from that flickering something to a distinct attraction that you spent more time dancing around than doing much else

the two of you living embodiments of burning laughter-strained cheeks and stuttering smiling lips as you talked circles around your intentions and attractions with everything you had

thinly veiled disappointment at the term ‘friend’ and unshakeable grins at every crumb of physical contact being signs that the two of you missed — yet that blared your feelings clear as crystal to your companions

and, bless them, they tried to let the two of you work it out on your own but after two months of close contact in the human realm they snapped and decided to intervene

they excused the whole thing as a sleepover (coincidentally rescheduling for them all to be over at vee’s partner’s home and camila to be over visiting a friend of hers) — so by the time the two of you were set up in the noceda family’s living room you didn’t have the chance to back out

(and luz had stolen every other spare mattress and hidden them in her locked room, the menace)

initially it was awkward but then you broke the ice by making a joke about them abandoning you and things became easier

conversations were pleasant and easy, like a cool babbling brook on a hot summer’s day

affection was casual and brief, followed by the sort of laughter that only puppy-love can bring

you put on a documentary about wolves and just laid and sat side-by-side — with your head on his shoulder and his arm around your waist

it’s quiet and domestic and perfect but neither of you say anything

and you don’t say anything until well after you’ve fallen asleep in each other’s arms: your head in his chest and his body curled around you

peaceful and warm and domestic as you drift off to the sound of a soft british accent describing the dynamics of a wolf pack

you don’t know who woke up first, but you both end up pretending to sleep for a while in order to revel in the moment but all too soon you’re forced to end your little act when your friends come home

leaping apart dramatically with awkward smiles and averted eyes

laughing in fake coughs into your fists as you pretend not to have enjoyed the night as much as you had

almost getting away with it until luz, mouth working before her mind, asks if you two finally confessed last night

earning her a playful slap upside the head from amity whilst you and hunter stutter and stammer over your words — a thousand non-answers falling from your lips until you just stop, look at each other, smile awkwardly and nod

and his hand reaches out under the cover to shyly hold yours and your squeeze it in return, the two of you smiling like the teenagers you are at your non-confession

and, all of a sudden, the something that you spent so long pretending wasn’t there is suddenly very very clear in what it is

and you couldn’t be more thankful for luz’s big mouth
