Hi! Would I be able to request Marcy Wu x Fem!Reader who goes and ASKS HER to play Creatures and Caverns or Watch War of the Warlocks? (She deserves it! 🥺)
Absolutely! I do not know anything about the game, but I’ll try my best <3
Warnings: a little bit of canon typical calamity trio toxicity, but with the reader thrown into the mix :)
Relationships: pre-established Marcy Wu x (female) reader
Tumblr media
Marcy Wu had been your best friend for years. Of course you didn’t predate Sasha, and certainly not Anne— but what you had was more special. More tender than the loud, fierce friendship the three shared. Your bond surpassed platonic feelings, at least on your end.
Your feelings were clear. You loved Marcy. You had for years now, though this more painful edge had only recently developed.
When Marcy kept you up all night on the phone, crying because Sasha had chosen to invite Anne to something and not her, of course you felt compassionate. You also felt angry. Not because of your lost sleep, but angry on Marcy’s behalf. Why even tell her about the activity if you’re not gonna invite her?
Whenever you all hung out as a group, something that happened more often now that the school year had began, you didn’t miss how the excited grin on Marcy’s face would fade when she noticed Anne and Sasha weren’t paying attention to what she was talking about. You just bit your tongue and engaged in Marcy’s story, trying to cheer her up.
It nearly pushed you over the edge when you noticed Marcy had cut off all of her colorful friendship bracelets. “Anne said that’s why people make fun of me in P.E— its not really a thing people wear anymore.” She explained casually, shrugging, as if it didn’t matter. Her arms looked bare and lonely.
You tried not to hate them, you really did— Marcy loves Anne and Sasha, I’m sure they’re actually nice… but you were just so frustrated that they were unintentionally ignoring the funniest, smartest, kindest person in the world.
A mean little part of you was kind of glad that their friendship seemed to be struggling. You hated it every time Marcy was hurt by them, but at the same time, you felt a small bit of joy in being the one to comfort her.
All these conflicting feelings were eating you alive. You couldn’t stop thinking about Marcy, everything you saw reminded you of her.
One weekend, you were cleaning your room when you found an old set of dice that hadn’t been used in a while— they were a birthday gift from years ago, but you hadn’t played creatures and caverns in what felt like forever. I bet Marcy would have fun with this, you thought with a smile.
The next think you knew you were pacing your room with a ringing phone to your ear, heart beating in your throat. You didn’t know why you were nervous; you hung out with Marcy all the time— but this would be the first time she came to your house. You usually hung out at her house.
Marcy picked up the phone after two rings. “Hey, how’s it going?” She asked. You could hear the smile in her voice.
“Um, hi Marcy! I’m good, I was just, uh—“ you looked down at the small bag of dice in your hand. “Are you busy today?”
“No, never.” She said with a little laugh. “I’m free pretty much every weekend.”
You nodded to yourself. “…Do you want to come over and play creatures and caverns with me?”
Marcy gasped. “Of course!” She exclaimed. “You have no idea how happy I am—“ you heard a crash on the other end of the line. She must have gotten up too fast and tripped. “I-I’ll be over in just a minute! Text me your address!”
You smiled wide, excited to see her. “I will! See you soon!”
The room felt too quiet when you hung up the phone. You already missed her. After texting her your address (and receiving a string of happy emojis in response), you looked up and came back to reality— I should get ready.
You surprised yourself by how quickly you got dressed. A cute shirt from a concert you had been to over the summer and a comfortable pair of shorts. You looked over yourself in the bathroom mirror and smiled.
You were glad you were already close to being done with your cleaning when you got distracted— all you had to do was make your bed, which didn’t take long.
Marcy arrived quickly. She looked out of breath when you opened the door, face flushed and breathing hard as she unbuckled her bicycle helmet. “Hi!” She said, smiling wide.
Her excitement made you happy. “Hey, Marcy! Come on in.” You stepped aside to let Marcy in. She took off her shoes and left them by the door.
“Um… thanks for inviting me over!”
“Of course! You’re the first person I thought of when I found these.” You pulled the bag of dice out of your pocket and felt yourself smile automatically when Marcy’s face lit up.
She took the bag from you and opened it, beaming. “Oh my gosh, this is a limited edition set! Where did you get it? They stopped making these forever ago!”
“I got them for a birthday present.” You replied, trying to remember all those years ago. “My parents must have found them in a secondhand store or something. Anyway…”
“I brought all my stuff, and plenty of paper. This is perfect! We could design up our own caverns, and do a whole campaign together!” Marcy looked up at you, still super excited. You felt a twinge of guilt upon realizing that you didn’t really know what she was talking about.
“Um… Marcy? You might have to teach me how to play.” You said, laughing nervously. “Is that okay? I’ve never actually played a game of creatures and caverns before.”
Marcy’s smile turned into something softer. “Of course! I’d be happy to teach you! Let’s start by setting up the board…“
The rest of the afternoon, you had more fun than you’d ever had in your life playing a tabletop game— Marcy was just so full of energy, cheering with excitement, eyes glimmering with joy when she laughed. She was adorable, you thought, and you couldn’t help but flirt with her a little— in your own special way, nerdy and sweet, just the way you knew she’d like.
“You know a lot about this game— you must have played a ton of campaigns!” You praised, watching a blush spread over Marcy’s smiling face.
“Well, not exactly— I’ve always wanted to, but I’ve never had anyone to play with before! I tried getting Anne and Sash to play with me a few times, but they always get bored after one session.” She laughed awkwardly. You reclined against the edge of your bed, not sure what to say.
“…But it’s okay.” Marcy continued. “I know it’s not what they’re into, so… it’s whatever,”
You nodded, suddenly feeling a little nervous. “Um, do you think we could make this a regular thing? Playing Creatures and Caverns together?”
Marcy absolutely lit up. “Of course!” She leaned in excitedly, grinning from ear to ear. “We could play every weekend, and draw pictures of our characters!”
You fought the goofy smile that was creeping its way onto your face. “That sounds great, Marcy!” You sat perfectly still, shyly aware of how close she was now. Marcy didn’t seem to notice for a moment, then she glanced away and pulled back, clearing her throat.
“It doesn’t have to be every week if you don’t want to—“ she rushed. “I mean, I was being too… presumptuous. I think. We don’t—“
“Marcy, no!” You frowned, sitting up. “I do want to hang out and play with you as often as we can, I was just…” you realized with dismay that she had misread your shyness at the proximity as reluctance. “I was…” you tried again, too embarrassed to tell her the truth.
“Let’s go back to playing.” Marcy said, but her smile didn’t exactly reach her eyes. You decided you had to explain to her, if only to save you the guilt.
“Marcy, I need to tell you something.” You said seriously. She paused, looking up into your eyes. Ugh, she’s so pretty…
“Yeah?”
“I, ah—“ you felt your face heat up. “Um, do you want to… go on a date sometime? Or more than one date?” You watched as her mouth fell open slightly, surprised. “I really like you…” you continued, trying to fill the silence.
“Of course I’ll go on a date with you! Can you— can we be girlfriends?” Marcy asked, sounding in disbelief.
You broke into a breathless smile at the prospect. “Yeah! That sounds really great.”
“Aaaah, I’m so happy…” Marcy shook out her hands, then scooted to sit next to you. She hugged you tightly. The warmth made your heart beat a little faster, and you hoped she couldn’t feel that you were trembling slightly with nerves.
“I’m happy too,” you replied, resting your chin on the top of her head.
The two of you sat there in silence for another moment before Marcy pulled back and smiled broadly up at you. “Now can we go back to playing?”
You smiled right back, glad she felt comfortable enough to ask you that. “Of course!”
A/N: hope this was alright, sorry for the delay— I’ve been busy with irl things like funerals and school

While I’m working on these other projects, I’m thinking of opening requests for smut ficlets and headcanons. I will have some boundaries of course but lately I feel more comfortable writing smut. Like this post if you’d be interested in that :0

Hi can I request a yandere adult calamity trio x reader headcanons please
Yep! I love stories where multiple yanderes share the same beloved <3
Warnings: possessiveness, stalking, obsessive behavior, guilty feelings, kidnapping (more like they just don’t let you leave, but yk),
Tumblr media
🥀(I don’t know all the names for the yandere types/mbti things, but I’m gonna try to describe them—)
🥀Sasha, of course, is a manipulator. She’s unpredictable, cunning, and willing to get violent over you. She wants you all to herself, with the exception of her girls of course 💙💚 you’re not the first person she’s been like this about, but the others were just unrequited crushes. This time it’s true love, right?
🥀Marcy is more careful and precise about how she loves you— on the surface, she seems more normal, but that’s just because she can’t bear the idea of you hating her, so she obsesses in secret (except for Anne and Sasha— they’re just as fucked up as she is). She’s the type to steal your things and takes tonnns of photos. She’s the brains of the operation.
🥀Anne feels really guilty about her obsessive feelings. Shes more the dramatic and sad type, who’s only happiness comes from her beloved <3 she knows it too, it’s happened time and time again. It’s just how she loves. she doesn’t want you to be unhappy, so she’ll bend over backwards to please you. She’d do anything for you.
💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌
🥀 you didn’t even know them prior to what happened. It was a mystery to you why they would choose you as their target.
🥀of course, it wasn’t really a choice. It was fate. Destiny. You were meant to be with them— each of them knew it since the first time they saw you.
🥀Marcy had flown out to California to visit Anne and Sasha, but after meeting you and realizing that she couldn’t live apart from you, she decided to move back.
🥀at the time of your meeting, you were working full time waiting on patrons at a high end restaurant— you were good at your job, but it was demanding.
🥀Anne, Sasha, and Marcy were having a nice girls night out, wanting to catch up after a few months of not really getting to talk much. Anne chose the restaurant mostly at random, but thank goodness it happened to be the one you worked at!
🥀Sasha saw you first. She thought you looked lovely, even in just your work uniform. You weren’t even waiting their table, she just spotted you across the room.
🥀Anne and Marcy recognized that smile as soon as it graced her face. The thrill of finding something new to cherish. “Look at that cutie,” she was casual enough, any outsider might just think she was planning to ask you on a date.
🥀Marcy was shameless, selfish almost. She felt no apprehension when she decided to let herself fall for you. She’s been so good for so long, she’s earned this. “Oooh, look, Anne!” She could hardly take her eyes off of you from then on. She had always adored pretty things, she just couldn’t stop staring.
🥀Anne didn’t want to look. She knew what would happen. She didn’t know if she wanted to fall in love again, it always hurt so bad. Even if things went well and she ended up dating the person she was interested in, it was all too much— she would start to worry, then she would rationalize getting too clingy and too close. Before long she would be afraid to let you out of her sight, and then you would leave her. Because she was broken, and couldn’t be normal about love. She knew she couldn’t stand it. “No, not again.” She groaned, putting her face in her hands. I was doing so well, why again? Sasha and Marcy are really a bad influence…
🥀”Come on, Anne. It won’t be like last time.” Sasha lied. “I can get their number for you if you want to ask them on a date,” she said with a smile. It was barely on the edge of a teasing, predatory grin; you wouldn’t notice if you weren’t looking for it, but Anne and Marcy saw. “You can have a perfectly normal relationship… as long as you promise to share.”
🥀Easily pressured, easily falling back into old habits, Anne glanced behind her. She saw you then, and you were the most perfect person she’d ever seen. You looked tired and worn down, taking directions from your boss, but there was a hint of defiant annoyance that made her heart skip. She wanted to take you far away and keep you, so you wouldn’t have to work so hard. She knew she could take care of your every need, if you just let her.
🥀Marcy and Sasha smiled watching her face darken with a blush. “See? Nothing wrong with looking.” Marcy giggled. “I think someone has a crush~”
🥀”Should we wait ‘till their shift is over?” Sasha asked under her breath.
🥀”No! I-I mean, you can if you want, I just— I don’t know if I want to move so fast.” Anne felt flustered. She wondered if you had seen her in the crowd, if you had thought she was pretty.
🥀”I guess we could do things the old fashioned way, like when we were in school.” Marcy mused. Anne frowned. Stalking. That’s what you mean.
🥀Marcy and Sasha were perfectly normal the rest of the night. It kind of put Anne on edge. Did that even happen? How can they act so nonchalant with them in the room? Disgust in herself boiling deep in her stomach, causing her to loose her appetite, Anne realized she didn’t even know your name. And she was already so infatuated it was like you were on a radar, she was aware of your every move. Creep.
💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌
🥀Of course Marcy and Sasha hadn’t forgotten about you. They just knew Anne would take a while to get used to having these feelings again. For them, there was no guilt. It was like a game. It was fun. They were almost glad to have another special person to fixate on.
🥀As they were heading out to the car, Sasha had taken a peek at your name tag. She thought your name was very nice. Of course she told Marcy and Anne this new information later that night. She laughed, imagining how their group chat would turn into nothing but you in the foreseeable future.
🥀Marcy was in town for another week. She knew she didn’t have much time. That night, she had a hard time getting to sleep. She couldn’t stop thinking about you. She wondered and wondered and wondered if you were dating anyone. I wonder if I’m their type? Do they even like girls?
🥀mumbling your name over and over to herself, Marcy spent the rest of the night looking you up online. She was able to track down pretty much all of your social media accounts. She took countless screenshots of your posts— even if you didn’t post photos, or anything personal, just knowing your thoughts was important to her. It’s like you’re telling me this! It’s like I’m in your mind! She thought, pretending you were there with her, face flushed. She really had missed having someone to love.
🥀The next morning she was still awake on the couch when Anne walked into the main room of her apartment to make breakfast. She knew what Marcy had been doing. She still had that guilty feeling, but she let Marcy ramble and infodump everything she learned about you as they ate breakfast together. She secretly wanted to know too.
🥀That morning when you woke up you had three new followers on all your social media accounts. You wondered if maybe they were old forgotten friends you knew in high school— it’s not like your personal accounts were very popular, you had no idea why they would want to follow you. For some reason they looked a little familiar, though.
🥀Sasha was already getting restless by the third day. She had spent a good few hours parked outside your place of work or in the surrounding businesses each day, but she wanted to talk to you. Every moment she didn’t have you, you might be falling in love with someone else. Imagining it made her chest tighten up. She told herself she was just angry, just protective, but she was also scared. What if they don’t even like me? Sasha hated getting rejected. She hated losing.
🥀She texted the group chat on your lunch break the fourth day. I’m doing it. She then turned off her phone, even though she knew Anne would be panicking.
🥀do what?? Sash dont
🥀There were a number of things Anne could interpret that to mean. Stalking in real life instead of just online? She already was. Asking you out on a date? Anne certainly wouldn’t put it past her. Kidnapping you? The mental image of Sasha manhandling you into the back of her shiny red convertible was disgustingly thrilling to Anne. She felt sick to her stomach from guilt.
🥀When Sasha approached you in the fancy bakery across the street you usually ate your lunch at, you were a bit intimidated. You instantly recognized that she was there to flirt, and you weren’t necessarily opposed to it, but it had been a while since you had been with anyone. You weren’t feeling too confident in yourself, and Sasha knew that.
🥀”Hey, mind if I sit by you? All the other tables are taken, and you look the friendliest.” Sasha had said casually. She laughed, feigning embarrassed, shrugging her shoulders. “My name is Sasha.”
🥀You introduced yourself, surprised at how bubbly and talkative she was. You were beyond curious about her— what is that facial scar from?— but it wasn’t polite to ask, so you just smiled and nodded along.
🥀It was like a dream. Sasha knew just the right things to say because she had read months back in your social media posts. She had researched your interests, your favorite TV shows, made jokes she knew you would laugh at… she was perfect for you.
🥀You didn’t hesitate at all when Sasha asked for your phone number. “We should hang out this weekend. Wanna go to the movies with me?” She flashed a grin, pretending to be charmingly shy. She knew there was a new one playing in theaters you’d been dying to see.
🥀”Sure. It’s a date.” You said playfully. You went back to work with a smile on your face.
🥀I’ve got a date ;)
🥀Anne breathed a sigh of relief when she received that message— Sasha hadn’t done anything too drastic. She felt a pang of jealousy, but knew that it was useless. She would always have to share with Sasha— either that or get her heart crushed when Sasha inevitably swooped you away. It had happened once before, the very first time the three girls had fallen so deeply in love with the same person. She and Sasha had both asked someone out, and they had chosen Sasha. The loss had devastated Anne so much that she decided she’d rather share than be beaten again. That’s how she had settled into the group’s routine of obsession.
💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌
🥀That Saturday, Anne was off work, and Sasha had her date. As she got dressed in a stylish pair of slacks and casual patterned button up shirt, Anne wished she was going too. Marcy was content to wait— that’s because Sasha had let her in on a secret. This wasn’t going to be just a date. The two of them wished her luck before she left Anne’s apartment.
🥀Three hours after Sasha left, Anne heard the front door of her apartment open. She’s back already? She was surprised to hear that the other girl wasn’t alone. The sound of an unfamiliar voice accompanied her, hushed joking and giggles, a familiar voice she’d heard in the restaurant only a week ago.
🥀Anne’s heartbeat sped up. They’re in my apartment! Why didn’t Sasha tell me? She sat up in bed, feeling her blood run cold. I hope they don’t think it’s too messy… she stood up and made her way to the cracked bedroom door.
🥀”Are you sure your roommates won’t mind me coming over for dinner?” Your hesitant voice was like music to Anne’s ears. She felt a smile creep onto her face. Feeling a rush of excitement, she gave in. Fuck it. I’ll play along.
🥀”Hey Sash, home already? How was your date?” Anne left her room and made her way to the entry area. She was nervous as hell, but tried to act cool.
🥀Sasha put on a show of acting annoyed. “I guess I could introduce you…” she said, telling Anne your name as if she didn’t already know practically everything about you. “I thought you guys would already be asleep, so I thought we could come back here and cook something to save money.” She explained.
🥀You and Anne also got along well. You noticed that Anne was acting awkward around you, but thought that that was because Sasha had unexpectedly brought someone home.
🥀At some point Marcy came back from the errands she was running, and joined the three of you in cooking. You were surprised, not expecting to meet so many new people, but they both seemed like reasonable young women. Sasha, of course, was just perfect.
🥀”I should be getting home… Sasha, would you mind driving me?” You eventually said, after another few hours. It was really getting late.
🥀That was when the first red flag popped up. Sasha’s face dropped. You caught a glimpse of her face pulled into an almost confused looking glare before she smiled again, a little agitated. “Uh, actually, I don’t think so.”
🥀You were confused. Sasha had done all the driving that evening, how did she expect you to get home? Little did you know, Sasha didn’t expect you to go home at all.
🥀Bouncing her leg up and down in barely contained excitement, Marcy leaned into your view. “Why don’t you stay?”
🥀You we’re beginning to get uncomfortable. “Uh, I don’t have my overnight stuff…” you glanced around for answers, eyes landing on Anne.
🥀Anne looked scared. She was sweating buckets, face flushed, fingernails peeling at her already bleeding cuticles. At this point she was regretting every decision that lead up to this moment, every time she should have protected you from Sasha and Marcy. And me, she thought, feeling her heart drop.
🥀”Don’t chicken out now, Anne.” Sasha’s voice was cold. It was like she could read Anne’s mind. Sasha then turned to face you, smiling again. “You’re staying with us.”
🥀”What do you mean?”
🥀Sasha rolled her eyes, but Marcy took the time to explain. “You can’t leave. You’ll live here in Anne’s apartment now. We can get you anything you want, we can do anything you need, just… stay here.” She said, voice wavering a little.
🥀Finally understanding— these girls aren’t as safe as I thought they were— you looked back at Anne. She just stared. “Anne? This is weird, right?”
🥀Anne shook her head, resigning herself. “…Sorry.”
🥀”Now, let’s turn in for bed. Do you want to take a shower? You can borrow some of my clothes.” Sasha said casually.
🥀You shook your head quickly, frowning at Sasha. “I’m not staying here.” You stood up and made a break for the door— it was easy to reach, Anne’s apartment was tiny— but before you knew it, Sasha was behind you.
🥀She covered your mouth with her hand and managed to restrain you easily. “Help me out,” she called to Anne and Marcy.
🥀Anne just watched. She watched as you struggled, trying to bite Sasha’s fingers. She watched as Marcy snuck up behind you, smiling wide, and hit you over the head— just enough to knock you out. She watched as Sasha caught you in her strong arms and gently laid you on the hard wood floor, sighing.
🥀"You gonna help out? Or did you change your mind again?" Sasha said to Anne, exasperated.
🥀Swallowing nervously, Anne nodded.
🥀Then the next thing you remember is waking up in Anne’s room, gently restrained. The three of them take care of you, even hand feeding you until you’ve given up enough to not fight when they untie you.
🥀You choose now: how long does it take before you stay voluntarily? Will you ever give in and let yourself be loved by them? It’s up to you!
A/N: hope this is alright! I had fun writing it, especially Anne agonizing over everything lol

pls write yandere general yunan x fem reader hcs :3 i luv amphibia owo
I’ve been looking forward to writing a yandere character! Here you go <3
Warnings: jealousy, (temporarily) one sided feelings, and of course yandere themes
Tumblr media
🗡️ (for context, in this you’ll be a human woman who has been teleported to Amphibia several years before the Calamity Trio was)
🗡️ Yunan didn’t believe in love until she met you. Up until that day, she was a typical young woman, working hard because she loved her job and believed in King Andrias and what he stood for.
🗡️ That changed quickly. When you were brought into the throne room you looked on the brink of death— you’d been surviving alone for weeks on the outskirts of Newtopia before being found and captured
🗡️ Seeing you like that made her feel a certain way— possessive, almost. Angry at everything that had hurt you. Guilty that she hadn’t been there to protect you. She had never felt this way before, let alone for a stranger.
🗡️ She hated it at first. She felt like she was going crazy. She was beginning to get anxious and agitated whenever you were out of sight.
🗡️ Being so high rank meant she often had influence when it came to assignments, so she made sure she was in charge of guarding your holding cell.
🗡️ Once she had an excuse to spend all day with you, she felt better. Even though the first few days of your stay at the castle were spent nursing you back to health, she found it to be a very rewarding experience.
🗡️When you finally became lucid again after the worst of your sickness was over, she was the first person you saw. You were terrified, and cried when you saw her. she looked like a monster compared to what you were used to seeing. Her sharp teeth and impressive height were especially intimidating.
🗡️She was disappointed that you were afraid of her. A little bit angry, too— she had spent every day and night for the past week watching over you and protecting you, and you didn’t even want to speak to her? She didn’t know what to do.
🗡️For another few days, she treated you very very gently— she never raised her voice if you were around to hear it, even when other guards screwed up. She stayed outside your room to monitor who went in and out. She brought you your meals, and watched to make sure you were eating enough.
🗡️The first time she lost her temper in front of you was when some Newtopian academics visiting the castle suggested dissecting you to identify what new species you were— she didn’t hurt them too badly, but word got around and nobody dared to suggest anything like that again.
🗡️She didn’t recognize it at first when she was slipping into obsession. She denied it. She told herself she was just very, very dedicated to her post. There was no doubt about it though; she was hardly sleeping. You were all she thought about.
🗡️When she realized what was happening she was a little scared. She was awake one night, watching through the bars of your cell as you slept. You looked like an angel. You were perfect. She had never seen anything like you; she wanted nothing more than to worship you. This is not normal, she thought.
🗡️But she couldn’t abandon her post. She couldn’t abandon you. So instead of running away from her new, scary feelings, she confronted them head on and finally spoke to you.
🗡️Well, she interrogated you. Normal questions, like “who are you” and “where are you from”. She was surprised at how receptive you were, answering each question easily (if a little confusingly). She had gained a little bit of your trust by protecting you. But still, you wanted to be able to leave the cell.
🗡️Yunan’s heart nearly stopped when you said you wanted to leave. She couldn’t let that happen— if you left the castle, everyone in Newtopia would see you! They would never be able to understand you like she did. They might want to dissect you like those professors from before. All she said was “It’s too dangerous”, and you believed her. It wasn’t even a lie.
🗡️ After that the two of you became closer. She told you everything you needed to know about Amphibia, and you told her about earth. She couldn’t wrap her mind around it. She felt a little embarrassed about how much she didn’t understand, so she’d just listen to you for hours on end. She even started keeping a journal to remember all the many things you told her. She didn’t want to forget one single detail.
🗡️ Though she still told herself the diary was for taking notes on this new other dimension, much of the time she would get sidetracked and just write pages and pages about how much she loved you.
🗡️ several months later, she no longer had any excuse when you would ask to leave your cell, which you talked about frequently. Every time she’d just laugh and smile, but the thought of you leaving was painful. She knew you would be suspicious if she tried to keep you any longer after Andrias granted you permission to go where you wanted, so she didn’t do anything… at least not immediately.
🗡️You moved out and were given your own room in the best hotel in Newtopia. Andrias was treating you well mostly because you were human and he was looking for the music box, but you were just glad that he was taking care of you.
🗡️That night Yunan slept in her quarters for the first time since being assigned to watch over you. It was her home, her own bed, but she didn’t feel nearly as comfortable as she did when she got to stay awake watching over you each night. You felt more like hers than her own home did.
🗡️She read and re-read old pages of her journal, detailing each conversation she had had with you… it was like a piece of her was missing. She knew where you were, though— she had been the one to escort you there and help you get checked in.
🗡️in the early hours of the morning, Yunan found herself standing on the balcony of your room, staring through the glass door to where you lie on your bed.
🗡️She tried to control her breathing; she was exhausted from climbing up the wall of the tall building, but she didn’t want to be too loud and wake you up. She knew the door had alarms that would sound if she tried to get in, so she was content to just sit on the balcony and watch over you
🗡️When sunrise came, she climbed back down. All day she meandered around the intersection in front of the entrance to the hotel so she would know if you left the building. Not seeing you worried her, but she was patient.
🗡️She repeated this the next night, and late that morning she saw you leave the building. She intentionally bumped into you, telling you that she just happened to be in the area, absolutely thrilled that she got to talk to you again.
🗡️she repeated this for weeks, watching over you to make sure you were safe, and occasionally indulging herself by saying hello. She was completely taken by surprise when you asked her out on a date, however— she never imagined that you would love her back!
🗡️Your first date was pretty average— a nice dinner together on the weekend. Yunan looked beautiful in the suit she wore. You made sure she knew it, too, making her blush with all the compliments you gave her. She had agonized over what to wear that evening, so she was glad to know you liked it.
🗡️Yunan had hoped that officially dating you would help ease her obsessive thoughts, and it did for a while— but being more affectionate as a couple only made her love you more! Whenever you were in public together, she would always hold your hand or put her arm around you to deter others from flirting with you.
Hope this is alright!

Nebula x reader hc!
Tumblr media
Headcanon list for Nebula <3 a little canon divergent but whatevs
Warnings: some slightly suggestive ideas near the end; nothing explicit or descriptive.
You knew each other for a long time before you started dating— mostly because the two of you were so busy with canon typical world-saving stuff
But also, Nebula was wayyy too shy to make the first move
She’s the type to ignore her feelings for as long as possible. She really doesn’t know how to deal with it
You’d probably be her first real relationship— she has had hookups and stuff before, but you’re the first person she’d ever had feelings for
She had felt drawn to you ever since she met you, but the two of you really grew close during the blip
You became her best friend, and she fell hard and fast.
Rocket used to tease her about this. Nobody else noticed how she would get all quiet when you hugged her or got too close, but he did
The events of endgame kinda took her mind off of it, but when you were all thrown back into battle, she was noticeably more protective of you
It wasn’t even intentional. It was second nature. She wished she could stop, she could see how you looked at her, picking apart her every action to understand her. She hated how you knew her so well, but also reveled in it
She was almost careless with her own life in favor of protecting you— however nearly indestructible she may be— so much so that she ended up getting badly injured
You were right there, so of course you were the one to help her. She refused help at first, but she was so fucking tired, and it felt good to finally let you be close to her
Tension was high, Nebula was angry with herself for being sloppy and leaving herself vulnerable to attack, you were angry at her for putting herself in danger
There was a moment in the middle of the battlefield, where you were desperately administering first aid, and finally confronted her— why are you doing this?
Nebula had always been an outwardly selfish person. She fought for herself with no exceptions... but you. Now she had fucked up and she was gonna die.
She finally admitted it. Her eyes were incapable of tears, her face was limited in expression, but she cried anyway. I don’t know what I’m doing. I don’t know.
You understood, of course. You understood her better than anyone.
She had always hated feeling vulnerable. Weeks ago she had been cursing herself for feeling so full of love. She had been wishing she could stop.
When you held her in your arms, tight hug causing pain to seep through her every vein and muscle, it was worth it. It hurt, her body and her heart, but you were with her, so it was okay.
Of course Nebula survived. She didn’t remember how or what happened, but when she woke up she felt like shit.
You were with her. So was Rocket, so was Peter, so were the rest of the Guardians— but you were what mattered.
Things felt strangely normal for some time— normal for her at least. People avoiding her out of fear, spending her days mostly alone, and of course her constant pain. The pain was the worst.
She had to face the reality that she didn’t want that to be her normal anymore.
She had had a taste of allowing herself to be loved, for just a second, and because she expected to die. But she didn’t. And now she couldn’t go back to normal.
She kept it to herself, mostly. She bided her time, healing, helping the Guardians buy and fix up Knowhere, slowly but surely she eased into it. “It” being having friends, and letting them love her.
But what about you?
Since that day, Nebula hadn’t heard a thing about her confession from you. For months, she agonized over it, until you finally asked her about it.
Do you remember anything before you blacked out in the fight?
Vague. She didn’t need more clarification, though. That was all she had been thinking about since it happened. She just nodded.
…Did you mean it?
She spoke this time. Yes.
The rest of the evening was nice. The two of you didn’t talk much— just spent time together. Nebula spent the night at your house. You ate together. You bathed together. You slept together. You woke up together.
Nebula had never felt better. She felt raw and shaky and emotional, and sometimes she wished she could build those walls back up and get back to her comfort zone, but truthfully… she felt incredible. She felt like a person again.
You talked more after that of course, when things were easier. You became a thing. You negotiated which of your friends you should tell first. You laughed, and teased each other, and hugged, and kissed, and loved each other.
It felt so natural. It felt so normal. Nebula couldn’t stop smiling all day.
The two of you live together on Knowhere now. People are still intimidated by her, but Nebula smiles often.

Hello can I request a Marcy x Shy depressed male reader who is a great singer and is scared of singing in public but Marcy encourages them to sing in the battle of the bands
I first saw this in the early morning when I woke up to check my notifs but thought all day that I dreamed it 💀 anyway im glad this is a real request because it’s such a cute idea!
Warnings: the reader talks negatively about themself :(
Relationships: established Marcy x (male) reader
Tumblr media
This is a bad idea, you thought nervously, pacing back and forth backstage. You had agreed to plan your own act so hastily, wanting to help Marcy and Anne ease the tension when Sasha broke off to start her own group with Toady, but now you were regretting it. Everyone is going to see me!
You were taken by surprise when Marcy ran up beside you and engulfed you in a hug. “Hey! You look great in your costume!” She said, holding you at arms length to appreciate it. “Super cute,” she added with a big smile.
You blushed, looking down at yourself. “Really? It’s so… colorful.” You wore a pair of comfortable yellow and pink striped pants, a pale yellow dress shirt, and a hand-sewn fluffy yellow and pink cape— the outfit was modeled after the rosy maple moths in the area.
You personally thought the outfit was too flashy. So many people you didn’t know had complimented it already, it was making you anxious.
“Of course you do!” Marcy said before breaking into giggles. “Look, I got some glitter on you,” she said, still laughing. She brushed her hand across the shoulder of your furry cape, and showed you how some green glitter from her costume had come off on you.
You smiled. “I like it, now we match.”
Marcy grinned wide, and pulled you into another hug. “Thank you so much for doing this; having you perform will definitely chill everyone out!”
You immediately felt your chest tighten, and your face dropped into a frown. “Um… Marcy?” You said, struggling around the lump in your throat. You patted her on the back and she pulled away from you, concern written on her face.
“What’s wrong?” Marcy held your hand, squeezing it reassuringly.
“Nothing,” you replied automatically. Pretending to be okay was a bad habit of yours. “I mean— I don’t know. I’m sorry.” You said. Your face felt numb from panic. You sat down on a nearby log, pulling Marcy with you.
“You don’t have to apologize, it’s okay.” Marcy said. “I love you.”
You nodded, feeling a little better. Marcy loves me. She knew that you were often in doubt of that, and always knew when she needed to remind you.
“I’m scared.” You admitted, trying to keep your voice from shaking. “I don’t want to go on stage.” Just imagining it made you feel sick. “I can’t do it.”
Marcy leaned into your side, providing a comforting weight to ground you, and nodded. “It’s okay to be nervous. Stage fright is totally normal!” She said adjusting her grip on your hand.
“But I don’t want to let you down,” you explained, still staring at the muddy ground.
“You could never disappoint me, even if you tried.” She said firmly. “But anyway, if you really want me to talk you into it…” she stood up and stood in front of you.
You paused a moment and then nodded, looking up at her.
Marcy smiled. “You’re the bravest guy I know. We’ve been in Amphibia for months and you’ve been by my side the whole time!“
“Yeah, I guess—“ you recalled your time in Amphibia, living with Marcy in Newtopia, going on adventures with your whole group of friends.
“But not just that! You’re talented. I know you love to sing, and I know you’ll have a great time if you get up there and do your song.”
You glanced over at the crowd of frogs waiting for your opening act. It’s just for fun. No one will care if I mess up.
“Plus, I’ll be here to cheer you on!” Marcy said, throwing her arms in the air. “Even if it’s a tough crowd, they’ll definitely get into it when I start cheering.” She said with a small laugh. “So, how about it?”
You stood up and took a deep breath. “…I’m gonna do it.”
“Yes! Now let’s get you up there!” Marcy took your hand and pulled you up behind stage. “Ah, I’m so excited, I love hearing you sing!”
You could hear the frogs murmuring behind the curtain, the buzz of gnats and flies all around the swamp, your deafening heartbeat… the night was so quiet, you could hear everything.
Marcy paused a moment, a look of indecision crossing her face. Before you could ask her about it, she leaned forward and gave you a quick kiss. “Just for luck,” she said shyly, blushing. “Not that you need it. You’ll knock ‘em dead!” She rambled, laughing awkwardly before running off stage to pull the curtain up.
You turned to the crowd as the curtain raised, and the music you chose turned on. Heart beating fast, face heated from the kiss, your mind was empty of the negativity that had been so constant the past few years.
Opening your mouth to sing, you felt a weight lift off your shoulders. Oh, this is it… you had forgotten how good it felt to indulge in something you loved.
You spotted Marcy at the edge of the crowd, standing next to Anne, both of them cheering along with the excitable frogs.
As you sang through each verse and chorus, you felt your smile grow wider, watching everyone in the crowd dance and cheer.
All too soon, it was over, and Anne and Marcy were making their way up to the stage for their song.
You only had a moment with Marcy before she had to sit down at her drum set, but it was enough.
“You were spectacular! Just like I knew you would be,” she nearly jumped into your arms.
You laughed shakily, feeling jittery from leftover nervous energy. “Thanks,”
As you snuck into the crowd to watch Marcy and Anne’s performance, you felt happier than you had in a long time.
A/N: I hope you enjoyed <3 sorry it took so long! I’ve been on vacation

Hi!! Can I please request the ninja(from Ninjago) X older brotherly reader platonicly?? Ofc where the reader acts like an older brother to each of the ninja.
If U can only do one may it please be kai that boy needs some brotherly affection
Have an amazing day💖
YES IVE BEEN DYING TO WRITE KAI CONTENT :D in this one, the reader will actually be Kai’s (and Nya’s) older brother :)
Warnings: none, I just make things unnecessarily sad and Kai has a breakdown.
Relationships: Jay has a crush on Nya 🫢
Tumblr media
Kai had always had a hard time expressing himself. That, paired with his strong emotions, lead to one thing: consequences.
He picked fights. When he didn’t like something, everyone knew. He was constantly rumbling with other kids in his neighborhood growing up, and you (as his older brother) typically had to patch up his wounds afterwards.
Not much about this aspect of Kai changed you and your younger siblings moved in with Sensei Wu and the rest of the ninja— except now, Kai got in bigger fights, with his friends, and you were now realizing that your job had just gotten a whole lot more complicated.
“You should go check on Kai.” Nya said, poking her head into your room on the Bounty.
You groaned, already having a headache from trying to work out your responsibilities with the blacksmith shop. The building had already been repossessed, but somehow the local government hadn’t got the memo and was still sending you business taxes. Still, no matter how hard it got, you refused to ask Sensei for help.
“I’ll talk to him. Don’t worry about it.” You said to Nya after a pause. She nodded, not quite comforted, and left the room.
Leaving the papers on your desk— that way I won’t forget about them— you stood up and stretched. You had been working for quite some time; it was already nearly dinner.
You found Kai in the ninja’s shared bedroom, lying on his bunk facing away from you. He held completely still, obviously pretending to be asleep.
“Hey.” You said, sitting on one of the other beds.
Kai didn’t turn around. He didn’t say a word.
“How’ve you been?” You tried again.
This one got a reaction: “Just fine.”
You didn’t believe that for a second, and were kind of losing your patience. Why does he always do this?
“Okay. Why are you in here instead of training?”
Kai groaned and flopped onto his back. “Because I don’t want to! Just leave me alone!”
You briefly regretted not asking Nya for more details when she initially came to you. Kai rarely ever told you what was on his mind.
“I can help you, you know.” You said, impatiently. “Whatever you’re dealing with this time—“ you struggled to make your thoughts into a coherent sentence. “We’ve always done things together, why can’t—“
“You don’t get it!” Kai shouted, sitting up. “You’re not a ninja!”
“So what?” Your expression didn’t change. You felt bad for pressing his buttons, but you knew he’d get over it. “I still want to do what I can.”
“What could you do?” He asked.
You frowned. I don’t know. You were silent for a moment. “…I’m sorry, Kai.”
Kai glared. It wasn’t very threatening, with fresh tears running down his face. “Why.” He demanded. “It’s not your fault. It’s no one’s fault, this is just how it is.” He replied bitterly. “So don’t apologize. There’s nothing you can do.”
You had no idea how to make him understand just how much his pain broke your heart.
You remembered when he was younger… how excited he was when you finally let him help make weapons. How he always hid his report cards from you so you wouldn’t know he was failing. How he put on a brave face after your parents went missing, how he’d insist on staying awake to protect your home during the night.
Kai sighed. He took a deep breath. He leaned back against his pillow and closed his eyes.
“Who are you fighting with?” You tried, voice lowered, almost a whisper.
“All of ‘em.” Kai replied just as quietly, shaking his head. “…Jay.”
You looked over him more closely, noticing a bruise forming under his right eye. You didn’t comment on it. “What about?”
“Family stuff.”
You nodded in understanding. Kai was easily ignited when it came to his family.
“I’m sure he didn’t mean to upset you, he’s just kind of an idiot sometimes.” You said sincerely. Jay really was a sweet kid, you thought, but he was kind of tactless.
Kai frowned. “I’m not upset, he’s just being stupid.”
“What did he say?”
“It’s dumb.” Kai prefaced, not meeting your eyes. “We were training, and you know how he likes Nya…”
“Mm-hm,” you nodded along. You knew Kai was protective of Nya in general, but his anxiety really amped it up after your parents went missing. You also knew that Jay was aware of this, at least the first part.
“He said we could duel, and if he wins he gets to ask her out.”
“You know he’s not going to do that,” you reasoned.
Kai nodded. “Whatever. He won obviously, you know I’m not that good at fighting—“
“No way dude,” you objected.
Kai just rolled his eyes. “—anyway, I got all mad, and he made fun of me. I was pissed. Whatever.”
You knew that wasn’t the full story. “Anything else?”
“He said… that Nya prob’ly hates me ‘cause I’m so— you know.” Kai scrunched his face up, trying not to cry again.
You stood and made your way across the room to sit next to him on the bed, waiting for him to start breathing again. When he did, they came ragged and short. “Kai.”
Kai turned away, bringing his hands up to cover his face. He rolled over to face the wall, whole body shaking from the effort to hold on a sob. The room was completely silent.
“Kai, he wouldn’t say that. It’s not true.”
Kai finally broke, gasping and sobbing. He balled his fists up in his hair, groaning in protest.
“Come on, bud.” You placed a hand on his shoulder. “Breathe.” You gently pulled him into a sitting position and modeled measured breaths for him while he coughed and heaved, still not wanting to cry. “You gotta breathe. It’s okay to make noise.” You said more firmly.
Kai shook his head, squeezing his eyes shut. You gave up and just held him, tightly, regretting that you couldn’t remember the last time he’d let you hug him. How did we get to be like this?
Kai finally began to cry in earnest. He cried hard. He was hurting too much to hold it back anymore, head pounding, lungs burning, bruises from training blooming on his ribs.
You couldn’t think of anything to say. It would be easy to comfort Nya if she was breaking down, but with Kai, you didn’t want to accidentally set him off again. So you just waited.
When Kai finished crying, he just lie back on his bed, exhausted and angry-looking. His face was red as he wiped his tears with his sleeve.
You found his backpack and dug around in it until you found his water bottle and a box of pain relief pills. He took them wordlessly, before handing the bottle off to you so you could take some as well. Your head was killing you.
“You hungry?” You asked. Kai shook his head. “Okay, I’ll let you skip dinner tonight if you promise to have a midnight snack later.” He nodded.
You stood up, pausing. “Uh, Kai?”
He still didn’t say anything, not looking at you. You thought he might be embarrassed about crying. I should probably leave.
“Nya loves you. I love you too.” You said a little awkwardly. “And you know what? I bet Jay loves you. And Cole, and Zane, and Wu… so just…” your confidence wavered when a tear slipped down his cheek. “You can tell us if something’s bothering you. I know it’s hard to be a ninja.”
Kai nodded. He took a shuddering breath. “Thanks,”
You nodded. “Any time. Get some rest.”
As you left the room, you checked your phone. It was ten minutes into dinner time. You were hungry.
You also noticed, a moment later, a text from Jay.
Is Kai ok?
You smiled, exhausted, and just replied with a thumbs up emoji. I’m turning in early tonight.
A/N: Jay actually said “I bet Nya hates how overprotective you are” btw Kai is just depressed and thinks everyone hates him. Anyway hope you enjoyed ❤️

Hello! Would I be able to request some headcannons for boscha x a quiet/reserved m!reader, I apologize if the prompt is vague.
Of course 😁 here’s some headcanons for your whole relationship (your request is actually perfect, thanks for the details)! I love Boscha, she’s so much fun to write about :D
Tumblr media
🩷You and Boscha were friends when you were younger, like 7 or 8. She wasn’t a bully back then, so even later on in highschool when she was kind of a Mean Girl, you could never hate her because you knew how kind she truly was— she only lashed out due to her insecurities.
🩷[this next part will be about the year the show takes place]
🩷At the time, you were her only friend that wasn’t part of that clique. For this reason, her parents always really liked you, and loved when you came over to hang out.
🩷Nobody at Hexside knew you two were close— everyone just assumed you drifted apart over time. Boscha hated how people liked to judge her and make assumptions about you two.
🩷She had a crush on you back then (whether or not you reciprocated yet is up to you) but she was so embarrassed about it, she just refused to talk to you about anything regarding romance or dating.
🩷Regardless, she wanted you to love her, and wanted people to know that you loved each other. She’s always been the type to flaunt what she’s proud of.
🩷She tried to invite you to her grudgby matches (so she could show off how good she was at it, of course) but the big crowd wasn’t fun for you. Instead, you came to the practices!
🩷Kat and Amelia (her teammates) knew immediately that she liked you. They would tease her whenever you were out of earshot, and she would get all flustered and deny everything, but she’s a terrible liar.
🩷At school, she would start to come find you during lunch and break periods, even though she used to only hang out with you outside of school— as her feelings developed, she realized that she wanted to be with you always. Not that she’d ever tell you that… yet.
🩷Boscha was so notorious, people started to notice. The sweet, shy, quiet boy talking to the loud, outspoken, mean bully? It was surprising to everyone, except you.
🩷Once, one of your acquaintances (probably Willow, she likes looking after people, but you were never exactly best friends with her) confronted you two. “Are you picking on him?” She accused.
🩷Expecting Boscha to insult Willow or storm off, you prepared to mediate the fight. But instead, Boscha looked hurt. More upset than you’d seen her in a long while. You ended up having to be the one to explain that no, Boscha wasn’t bullying you, you two were best friends.
🩷That really bothered Boscha. After a few days of withdrawing from you, she finally came back crying. She apologized. For being a bully, for hurting your reputation, for “forcing” you to hang out with her— everything.
🩷You assured her that there was no need to apologize. She hadn’t done anything to make you hate her. That night was the first time you told her you loved her. Of course, she assumed that it was all platonic, and that you were just saying it to make her feel better. But at that point, if you hadn’t already, you were beginning to fall for her.
🩷You had a very close bond from them on. You didn’t hesitate to defend your friendship whenever people asked, and it became the norm at Hexside. You even became friendly with Amelia and Kat.
🩷Then the day of unity happened. You and Boscha were together when it started. You watched out the school windows side by side as wave after wave of The Collector’s magic warped the world around you.
🩷You were there to comfort Boscha when the rest of the grudgby team was taken. She blamed herself of course, but you were very good at talking her out of these spirals.
🩷In the first few days and weeks after it began, Boscha was a wreck. She was terrified that you would be turned into a puppet too. She confided in you all her worst fears.
🩷You weren’t doing so well yourself. You were worried about your family, and your other friends who weren’t in school at the time. The two of you would stay up all night, staring at the colorful stars, talking in hushed voices about things you were too young to worry about. Leadership. Death. The end of the world. You cried together a lot.
🩷You both secretly thought about how just a few weeks ago, you were wondering about silly things, like what other students thought of you. Now you just wanted to be.
🩷You helped her build up her courage again. Maybe she took it a little too far. Being the queen of the little community of survivors inside Hexside wasn’t part of the plan. She just wanted to protect everybody. And really, without the teachers, who else would have been better? You had some doubts, but didn’t voice them.
🩷Luz’s final battle with Belos was a terrifying ordeal. The Titan was literally coming alive beneath your feet. Boscha had finally gotten the hang of pretending to be fine. At that point, she was available to comfort you; you were both there for each other.
🩷Even after everything was resolved, it took a long long time for things to feel normal again. Boscha could never sleep, so she usually called or texted you.
🩷School was put on hold for a month or two until things settled. During that time, you two spent nearly every day together. Boscha was just glad to be alive, and have you with her.
🩷But still, she wanted more. Finally, after facing the literal end of the world, she felt ready to tell you how she truly felt. Telling you she loved you (as more than a friend) felt right. It felt natural. Like this was how it was supposed to be.
🩷Of course, you replied in a very positive way. You were too shy to kiss her (that would be way too forward!) but the hug was just as meaningful.
🩷Boscha barely graduated highschool. Who could blame her, though? It was hard to learn when your entire civilization was being rebuilt around you. She was stressed about school a lot for those years, but you of course always helped her feel better.
🩷Dates for you weren’t your normal, mundane dates. You and Boscha were both more inclined to enjoy a night in than a night out, so most of your time together was spent at one of your homes.
🩷You two genuinely love each other. You’re both of each other’s first relationship (and first kiss) but you’ve been through so much together that it’s unquestionable.
A/N: hope this is okay 💕 sorry if you expected something fluffier 😅

Hello! I was wondering if you could perhaps write a calamity trio x reader? More specifically, what would happen if all of the girls had a crush on the same person?
Omg yes this is such a cute idea :0 (sorry the reader won’t really be the focus 😅 it’s an Anne pov, and Marcy and Sash are still very much in it)
Warnings: none
Relationships: they have a crush on you👀
Tumblr media
Anne, Sasha, and Marcy had grown more after returning from Amphibia— they had at least another year until Marcy had to move, as her disappearance had prompted her parents to put their plans on hold for a few months, meaning she could stay in California the time being— but even though the three of them were no longer geographically torn apart, conflicting schedules meant that they hardly had time to spend together.
However, now that the trio had begun the new school year, life had been going pretty well. The pestering questions from other students and even teachers were annoying, but easy to get used to. Things felt normal again.
Anne loved her friends a lot, but she also wanted to expand her circle a bit. That was kind of hard when everyone knew her as the superhero girl who defended the city from robots last summer, but her adventures in Amphibia had given her nothing if not tenacity.
Finally, after a month or so of having no one to hang out with during school, she met someone new. Someone who hadn’t seen her destroy a fleet of robots on live television over the summer.
Anne only had two classes with you, and you had separate lunch periods, but that was perfectly fine. You had sat together in class every day since you first started school there, and Anne had quickly made a habit of texting you often. Photos of Domino, memes, random thoughts— she found every excuse to text you. She even took a few cute selfies with you! Overall, your fast friendship was wonderful.
Weeks into this new friendship, however, Anne was beginning to realize something. Her feelings for you were… changing. She didn’t used to struggle with eye contact when you complimented her. She had never before turned into a blushing mess just from a hug. Suddenly, your every action had her overthinking.
“Anne? Are you listening?” An amused voice broke through her thoughts.
Anne looked up to see you staring at her, confused. “Oh, haha— sorry I was just zoning out.” Anne said, face burning. “What did you say?”
“I was just wondering if you wanted to go to the library after school to work on our group project.” You asked.
“Yeah totally!” Anne answered quickly. This is the first time they’ve invited me to hang out outside of school!
“Wait— I mean, I’d love to… but I have plans already. Sorry.” Anne said, frowning. She had forgotten that she and her other two friends were going to be hanging out all afternoon, and even sleeping over at Marcy’s house.
“That’s alright. how about Sunday? It’s due on Monday, you know.” You said with a little laugh.
Anne groaned. “I know, sorry. That sounds good, you can come to my place.”
“I’ll text you, okay?” You smiled as you stood up to put away your notebook and pencil. Anne hid her face; you thought it was funny, but really she was hiding how your sweet smile always made her blush.
Anne needed advice.
Marcy and Sasha were engrossed in conversation (something about a manga they both read; Anne didn’t quite know), but Anne was distracted. She sat on Marcy’s bed, scrolling through her album of selfies with you.
“Anyway, I’m going to get some snacks and change into my pajamas. You guys get comfy too!” Marcy said, plugging her phone into the charger by her bedside table.
Anne waited for Marcy to close the door before she unzipped her backpack and pulled out her overnight stuff.
“So how are you doing? It’s been a while since we’ve hung out.” Sasha made conversation while she walked into the adjoining bathroom to change.
Anne sighed. “Nothing bad,” she started, quickly pulling on her pajamas. It was just a pair of basketball shorts and a t-shirt, nothing like Sasha’s cute matching sweatsuit. Anne wondered if you would think she looked cute if she dressed up. “…I’m just a little… I don’t know. I feel kind of weird.”
“Well what’s up, girl? Having bad dreams again?” Sasha re-entered the room, taking out her ponytail, and lie down on Marcy’s queen sized bed.
Anne smiled softly to herself, getting lost in thought for a moment. She loved how Sasha was always so worried about her. Back when they had just barely gotten home from Amphibia, Sasha would stay up on the phone with Anne all night while she cried. Sometimes she was missing the Plantars, sometimes she was convinced one of Andrias’s robots was after her again, sometimes she was having a panic attack thinking about her own inevitable death— no matter how long it took, Sasha was always there.
“Anne?”
“No, I’m fine.” Anne said, a little embarrassed. She sat back against the headboard. “Just normal teenager things.”
“Great,” Sasha said, smiling and closing her eyes. “Can’t get enough of that. Lay it on me.” She said, getting comfy.
Anne laughed. Marcy walked back in the room, making her jump. Her heart was already in her throat, beating hard from the nerves of talking about her feelings (however roundabout).
“Hey guys! Sorry it took me a minute, I accidentally spilled the first bowl of chips.” Marcy said, shrugging. Sasha stood up and took a bag of candy from her arms, which were full of snack food.
“I’m surprised you didn’t drop more, with how much you’re carrying.” She replied, kicking a pillow out of the way so she could sit down on the plush carpet.
Marcy laughed. “Anyway, what are you guys talking about?” She said, relaxing on the beanbag chair next to the outlet where her phone was charging. She put the arm full of snacks on the ground between her and Sasha.
Sasha looked at Anne, waiting for her to answer.
“Oh, haha, I just wanted some advice.” She blushed. “I think I might… have a crush on someone.” She looked away, laughing awkwardly while Sasha and Marcy freaked out.
“Oh my god, that’s great!” Sasha smiled widely.
“Are you gonna ask them out?” Marcy asked, gasping. “You have to tell us everything!”
Anne grinned self consciously, thinking about you. Asking you out. “Well, we met at school, and I really like them…”
“Is it someone we know?” Sasha asked teasingly.
Anne shrugged. With how new they are to the school, what are the odds that they’ve met my two only friends? “Maybe. Anyway, we’ve been friends for a while, and suddenly I just can’t think straight when I’m around them… I’m worried that if I don’t say something and get it off my chest, they’ll notice, and— I don’t know, it would just be embarrassing.” Anne ranted.
Sasha nodded seriously. “Classic story. Not to worry, though, Marce and I have tons of experience with crushes.”
Marcy laughed nervously. “Sasha, you said you wouldn’t tell!” She lightly punched Sasha, who ignored her.
“Anyway, who is it?” The blonde asked. She took a handful of chips and ate them, casually relaxing against the pillows on the floor.
Anne, still sitting on the bed, leaned down to whisper in Sasha’s ear. She was pretty confident that she wouldn’t even recognize your name, but the other girl gasped as soon as she said it.
“No. Freaking. Way. Marcy you would not believe this— Anne likes the same person you do!”
Anne’s heart dropped. “What?” She distantly registered that Marcy said the exact same thing at the exact same time. She would have laughed if she didn’t feel so… weird.
“We eat lunch together like every day.” Sasha explained to Anne. “Marcy has a huge crush on them.”
“You do too!” Marcy accused, embarrassed, making Sasha blush.
“Whatever, at least I can act normal about it!” Sasha argued.
Anne felt an unfamiliar twist in her stomach. Jealousy. They hang out every day? She frowned. She wondered if Sasha was as confident and flirty with you as she was with her sometimes.
“So we all like the same person?” Marcy clarified, after a moment of tense silence. “I didn’t really think they would be your type,” she said to Anne.
“I didn’t even know I had a type!” Anne said, a little exasperated. She had never felt so strongly about a crush before. She thought about your laugh, how you teased her sometimes, how she had picked out a nickname for her…
Sasha for once didn’t really have any advice. “Well who do they like?”
Marcy shrugged. “They always avoid the question. I’ve tried asking.”
Anne was shocked. “Really? You guys talk about that stuff?”
Sasha giggled. “Yeah, some of us are better at hiding our feelings.“
Anne rolled her eyes. “Whatever.” She paused for a moment. “…Are you guys going to ask them out?”
Sasha shrugged. “Maybe. Should I?”
Anne thought about that. Now that the initial surprise had worn off, she found that she wasn’t upset that Marcy and Sasha liked you. She wondered if you would be interested in dating all of them. The trio had shared everything with each other ever since they had first become friends… come to think of it, Anne found that she liked the idea of all of them dating you.
“I think we all should.” Marcy said, smiling. “How should we do it?”
“Let’s FaceTime them,” Sasha suggested. “I want to see how they react.”
Anne shook her head. She knew she was far too shy and awkward about the whole situation for that to end well. “How about just texting? We could create a groupchat.”
The other girls nodded. “Alright, sounds good!”
Marcy inviter you, her, and Sasha to join a groupchat. Anne snorted a laugh when Marcy renamed the chat to an emoji: 🫣
“Who wants to go first?” Asked Sasha, feeling nervous.
Anne just wanted to get it over with, wanted to know what you thought. “I will.” She quickly typed out a simple message and sent it.
You replied quickly, much to Anne’s relief.
I like you.
Me?
Why are you saying it in a gc?
Worrying that this was too weird, that you hated her now, Anne was already typing her apology when Sasha and Marcy replied.
Because I do too :D
Me too
Marcy squealed, dropping her phone and hiding her face. “Ah, this is crazy!”
Sasha laughed. Anne knew she was trying to play it cool, but secretly cared just as much. Anne herself felt sick to her stomach from nerves. Her heart nearly stopped when the notification that you replied came in.
Do you all wanna go on a date tmrw? We can talk abt it over lunch
I didn’t know u were friends :)
Anne sighed in relief, laughing. Friends is an understatement. She grinned, excited, hearing Marcy and Sasha celebrating around her. Her heart swelled with joy, glad that her two best friends would be there with her in this new relationship.
She was so caught up in her own emotions that she didn’t notice Sasha taking a selfie of the room, including all three of the girls in it. It popped up in the groupchat.
Anne clicked on the picture, seeing Sasha in the corner of the screen, Marcy waving with one hand and holding her phone in the other, and herself distracted and staring at her screen. Her face was absolutely glowing with happiness, cheeks darkened with a blush, staring fondly at your messages.
“Sash, that’s such an embarrassing picture of me!” Anne looked up, not really upset.
Sasha stuck her tongue out. “It’s cute. I bet our new lover thinks so too.” She said teasingly. Anne looked down at her phone again, still smiling.
Marcy came in for a hug. “First date tomorrow, Anne! Are you excited?”
Anne laughed, hugging Marcy back. “Heck yeah!”
“We should do a spa night!” Sasha said, standing up. “Marcy, do you still have those face masks I got for you? We’ll be absolutely glowing tomorrow.” She posed, making Anne and Marcy laugh.
“Of course!” Marcy replied excitedly. “I even have some nail polish; our signature colors!”
Anne couldn’t stop smiling as she followed Marcy and Sasha into the bathroom. She felt great. Despite things changing for her after she returned from Amphibia, the love she shared with her friends stayed the same. And now, they could all open their hearts up more, expanding that love, growing exponentially closer.
A/N: I hope you enjoyed reading about these dorks crushing on you :P have a nice day!

Hi :) would you mind doing a Zane x gn Reader where they’re just having a rough day and everything seems to be going wrong but he’s there to comfort them? If not that’s completely okay too :3 have a good day
(bonus points if it has PIX in it absolutely love her)
Of course! I love Pixal too <3
Warnings: food/eating mentions, minor injuries, bugs (spoilers you get stung by a bee)
Relationships: established Zane x gn reader
Tumblr media
You had been looking forward to your date with Zane for a few weeks— it had been a while since your schedules had aligned so you could hang out together, and you missed him.
After you got out of bed, you immediately went to put on your clothes— getting dressed always helped you feel more awake. Thankfully you had prepared an outfit the night before! You had saved it specifically for this day.
After getting dressed, you went to your kitchen to make breakfast. You smiled, looking forward to a good meal. Having had an early dinner the night before, you were pretty hungry.
It was understandably very disappointing to find out that you were out of bread, meaning you couldn’t have toast. Dang it… I’ll just fry an egg.
As you waited for your egg to cook, you texted Zane. He always replied quickly; text notifications went straight to his display.
Good morning!
I’m excited to see you later :]
You grinned. You had been the one who taught him about emoticons, and as far as you knew, he only ever used them with you. It felt like a fun little inside joke.
You got so distracted thinking about Zane and re-reading his cute texts, that you didn’t notice when your egg was finished cooking. Not until you smelled it burning,
Panicking at the amount of wispy smoke coming from the small pan, you quickly tried to get it off the heat— but in your haste to move it, you burned your arm on the hot edge of the pan!
Exclaiming in pain, you dropped it to the stovetop and rushed over to the sink to run your arm under cold water.
Feeling tears form in your eyes at the scare— and the pain— you waited for your heartbeat to return to normal. You couldn’t help but think of Zane and his ice powers… he would help me if he was here.
Removing your arm from the stream of water, you frowned when you saw the thin reddish-pink line left on your forearm. It stung as soon as you took it out of the water, but you still needed to handle your egg.
You decided to eat it anyway, despite the fact that one side was burned and one side was runny. It wasn’t very good, but that didn’t matter— you were going to meet Zane at the park in just an hour!
Suddenly feeling thirsty, you decided to get a cup of water.
Pouring yourself a nice cold glass definitely cheered you up— But for some reason (who knows, maybe your hands were still shaking from the adrenaline rush of an injury), you managed to spill the entire cup all over yourself.
You took a deep breath. I am not going to let my day be ruined.
Looking through your clothes, you were immediately stricken with dread upon finding nothing you liked. You wanted to look good seeing Zane for the first time in weeks, but all your other favorites were probably in the wash— how unlucky.
You sighed, deciding to change into a pair of shorts and a long sleeve t-shirt. It wasn’t terrible, but you never really liked the way the sleeves fit on that particular shirt. Oh well.
After drying off and changing, an alarm went off on your phone: leave for park!! You were already exhausted before you left the house, but you hoped it would all be worth it.
As you stepped out your front door, you got another notification on your phone:
I just found out Pixal is in town!
Do you mind if we hang out another time?
Your heart sank. Yes, I do mind. But you knew Pixal didn’t visit as often as Zane liked, and the two of them were best friends…
Frowning, you thought about what to say. Should I be honest? He wouldn’t ask if he didn’t care what I wanted, right?
Thinking of a solution, you quickly typed out your response:
Can we all hang out together?
Good idea! see you soon!
Sighing with relief, you were glad that problem had been fixed. You didn’t know what you would have done all day if Zane really cancelled on your date.
As you walked down the street on the way to Ninjago City Park, you admired the clouds in the sky. They were white and fluffy, like cotton candy. I wonder if vanilla flavored cotton candy exists?
You were suddenly broken out of your thoughts as you tripped over a crack in the sidewalk. As you fell forward, you managed to catch yourself, but that didn’t stop you from bruising and scraping both your knees and hands. Ow…
You quickly stood up, hoping no one had seen you fall, and wiped your hands on your shirt, accidentally smudging dirt on the front. You hoped Zane and Pixal wouldn’t notice.
Humiliated by the fall, you walked the rest of the few blocks to the park with your hands in your pockets, staring at the ground. Your scraped knees hurt with every step, and at this point you really didn’t want to be out and about at all.
“Hey, over here!” Zane’s cheerful robotic voice called from a little ways down the street. He stood at the park entrance with Pixal, waiting for you.
You smiled at your friends and quickened your pace. “Hi guys,” you said, relieved to finally have met up. You gave Zane a hug, and he nearly lifted you off your feet hugging you back.
“It’s been a while since I’ve seen you,” Pixal said, also giving you a quick hug. “How are things?”
Things weren’t that great, to be honest. Both in general and that morning— but you didn’t want to overshare, so you kept it to a polite “Good, how about you?”
As the three of you began walking towards the pond in the middle of the park, Pixal told you and Zane about her recent endeavors— she had been working on customizing a motorcycle for herself! You thought that was a really cool project, and were distracted from your bad day for a few minutes.
“Let’s take a shortcut across the grass,” Zane suggested, pointing through some sparse trees to where the pond was.
That would have been a great idea, if not for the yellow jackets that had taken up residence in the ground nearby— it was initially Pixal who stepped on their tunnel, angering a few of the insects, and they ended up stinging you instead.
“Ow!” You shouted, quickly smacking away the bugs. You were embarrassed about yelling, but it hurt! You rolled up your sleeve to see the stings on your hand and wrist better. They were already swelling up. You frowned.
“Are you okay?” Zane asked, concern laced in his voice. He carefully took your wrist in his hand, using his ice powers to chill a few of his gloved fingers to help numb the pain.
You frowned, tears gathering in your eyes for the second time that day. “…No.”
“What happened to your arm?” Pixal pointed out the burn.
You sniffed, trying to keep from crying— everything hurt, and you were just having a terrible day… “Burned it making breakfast.” You replied sadly.
“Let’s go sit down,” Zane offered, holding your hand and guiding you the rest of the way to the water, where there was a nice bench in the shade.
As you approached the pond, you slipped in the mud, and fell down, getting mud all over your shorts and shoes. “Ugh, this is the worst day ever!” You finally gave in and complained.
Zane helped you stand up and sit on the bench. “What’s going on?”
You told him and Pixal everything that happened that morning. Zane nodded along sympathetically, holding your hand and letting you vent.
Pixal took out the first aid kit she always carried in her backpack and, with your permission, helped you clean up and bandage the scrapes on your knees.
“Thanks, Pixal.” You said, sighing. “I’m sorry for ruining our day out.”
“It’s not your fault,” Pixal replied as she stood up. “I promise we’re not upset.”
Zane nodded. “And if you want, we could go back to the Bounty and have a day in instead!”
You imagined relaxing comfortably on the couch, wrapped in a cozy blanket, maybe watching a movie or playing games with Zane and Pixal— that’s a good idea. “Can we?”
“Of course!” Zane said with a smile.
After that, your day turned out to be pretty good.
A/N: i hope you enjoyed this! Zane and Pixal are the best :)

HIHI hruu?? im here to request something also this will be in Japanese and you may have to translate it but it should be alright since im fluent in it and just im doin' it for fun anywho~
Alright I’ll try to decipher it :0
“Project Sekai ~Colorful Stage~'s male or gender-neutral reader who has a personality like Mafuyu Asahina and would like to request a Ninjago character! The official wiki has information. You could also add that your mother is a motherfucker and has taken everything out of your life.
Have a wonderful day ahead! Drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest! ! !
Also, don't mind that this blog is an alt blog...this is my actual blog [link]”
First of all thank you for your nice ask! I hope you are doing well <3
So unfortunately I’m not quite certain what this is asking me to write, past “male or gender neutral reader” and “studious personality” :(
if possible could you please re-send your request mentioning a specific character you want it to be with?
Also, when I am able to do this request, I won’t be including the detail about the reader’s mother because one of my boundaries is that I don’t write parental abuse. Sorry!

The big green monster
Tumblr media
Summary: Lloyd experiences gender envy 😔 Takes place after day of the departed, but before season seven. I originally published this on Quotev, I’m just bringing it over here for you guys to enjoy :3
Warnings: mentions of s/h, gender dysphoria, a little bit of transphobia
Headcanons: nonbinary Lloyd (they/them), nonbinary Zane (he/they)
Relationships: none 😎
Lloyd was tired from the moment they opened their eyes that morning.  They had been staying up late recently, not doing much of anything, but a general exhaustion hung around the teen like a dark cloud.
Regardless, they rubbed their eyes and picked up their phone.  A text from Kai on the team’s group chat greeted them: Made breakfast before heading out.  See you guys later!
The message was dated at 9:24, around an hour ago.    Lloyd frowned.  They hated it when the team didn’t wake them up for things.  The prospect of Kai’s surprisingly good cooking lured them out of bed, and with that, Lloyd was on their feet.
What to wear?
Lloyd took off their pajama shirt, grimaced at the scars littering their tanned skin, and looked in their room’s floor length mirror.  In their eyes, their body was grotesque; all pointy elbows and wide shoulders.
Feeling a lump in their throat, Lloyd instead turned to the closet.  Hatred for their body made them want to drown themself in fabric like usual.
Lloyd looked back into the closet, deciding that this was an opportunity to at least try something new.  It had been a while since they had worn something that wasn’t just a hoodie and sweatpants.
With a fresh determination, Lloyd picked out a pair of torn, baggy black jeans and a pale blue T-shirt, which they tucked into their waistband.  Looking into the mirror, Lloyd was disappointed.
It wasn’t much.  It really was the most they could do with their current wardrobe, as they didn’t have a lot of clothes that they liked.  Multiple ninja gis, sure, but they didn’t even have a skirt or a pair of shorts.  This reminder made them sad.
It was only recently that Lloyd had come out to their family and friends as nonbinary, but they had figured that in time their wardrobe would grow to reflect their identity— however, until further notice, their mother refused to buy anything for them.
Putting on a long pair of gray socks, Lloyd stared close into the mirror, and tried to find things that they liked about themself; a practice their therapist recommended when they were feeling bad about their appearance.
Lloyd had unnaturally bright green eyes.  They weren’t quite used to them, as their eyes had been  a deep red for the first eleven years of their life, but they thought they were very pretty.  They also remarked on their scattered freckles and pointed teeth.  Lloyd really just didn’t like their body for being so obviously masculine, but little things like their facial features were still okay.
Lloyd, after a moment of poking at their pointy teeth, remembered that they were hungry and their fried egg was likely cold.  They stood up and went down to the kitchen.
As predicted, the egg Kai made for them was cold (thankfully covered by a lid to deter bugs), so Lloyd heated it up in the microwave.
After enjoying their breakfast, Lloyd wondered where everyone was.  The building was empty, or at least quiet.
Lloyd picked up their phone and called Jay.  “Where are you guys?”
”Oh, you have to come outside! Me and Nya are working on Zane.” The phone beeped to signal that Jay had ended the call.
Lloyd stepped into a pair of dark green sandals so their socks wouldn’t get dirty, and walked out into the grassy courtyard of Yang’s temple, where the ninja had taken up residence.
They immediately spied their three friends, sitting and kneeling in the shade of a cherry tree.  “Hi, guys.”
“‘Sup, Lloyd?” Jay greeted, though he didn’t look up.
”What are you doing?” They asked.
”Zane wants piercings, so we dug up the old nail gun we used to fix the bounty that one time.  Being made of titanium makes it hard to do body modifications.” Nya answered.
Lloyd examined Zane where he lay, reflective face unmoving as Jay positioned the gun, a sheet of scrap metal positioned under his lower lip.  Jay was giving them snake bites.  “You shut him off?”
”Yeah, easier if he’s not moving.” Jay said.  “This stuff always makes him nervous.”
Lloyd took to opportunity to examine Zane.  The droid had been steadily changing himself since escaping Chen’s island.  Most recently, his dark metallic gray skin had been peppered with tiny white and blue snowflakes, akin to freckles.  They had also added cosmetic blue irises to his eyes, which were previously just shiny black camera lenses.
“He’s really looking different lately.” Lloyd remarked.  They felt bitter for some reason.  Zane was able to easily ‘edit’ his appearance.  They could style his wire hair however he liked, paint on his body, and most of all— he was a completely gender ambiguous robot.
Lloyd’s own honey-blond hair would never cooperate.  They felt pressured to look perfect and strong, like the gold ninja they once were— and Zane was just allowed to look the way he did.  As the robot of the team, no one expected Zane to behave or look like a man.
Lloyd stared at their metal friend.  Their eyes were suddenly tearing up, and they were so mad.  Not at Zane, of course not, but at themself.  Their stupid body, and their stupid life.
Why can’t I be like them? Why do I have to be like this? Lloyd glared at their hands, planted in the grass— unfortunately large hands, joints all bony, wide nails bitten down— and felt their resolve crumbling around them.  They briefly worried that Jay and Nya would see them cry, but it was too late to stop it.
”What’s wrong, Lloyd?” Nya’s voice pierced their thoughts.  “I know you’ve been feeling down lately—“
”Nothing’s wrong.” Lloyd quickly stood up and went inside.  They heard Nya and Jay talking (concerned and upset, no doubt), and wished they were better at masking their emotions.
Shaking and trying to breathe normally, Lloyd stared down at themself.  Muscled arms, wiry from constant training— crossed with pale scars, from old battles, and angry red ones self inflicted.
This is stupid.  You’re not allowed this, stupid kid.  Zane doesn’t deserve this.  He’d be so sad if he knew.
Lloyd thoughts raced a million miles an hour, feeling horribly guilty for how they felt.
When Lloyd came out to Misako, she told them it was a phase.  “That’s not real.  I know you’re confused because you grew up so fast, but it’ll get better soon.”
Lloyd did not want this life.  They weren’t supposed to be this big.  Lloyd didn’t even remember how old they actually were at this point.  14? 15? They wished they got to grow up normally.
Lloyd felt themself begin to lose what was left of their strong facade.  Tears coming faster and faster, They just sank to the floor in the empty building and covered their face.
”Lloyd?” A robotic and unfairly understanding voice broke the heavy silence.  I should have gone to my room, then at least I could lock the door.
”It’s okay.” Lloyd said, hating how their voice shook, betraying the fact that it was not okay.
”Come on.” Zane picked up Lloyd under their arms and lifted them onto the couch.  “There we go.” They were still smiling gently, despite the situation.
”’M sorry.” Lloyd choked out.
“What are you apologizing for?” Zane sounded genuinely surprised.
It took a long moment for Lloyd to calm down enough to respond.  “Freaking out ov’r nothing.” They mumbled, still not meeting Zane’s gaze.
”Clearly something is wrong.  Would you like to tell me about it?”
Lloyd again didn’t answer, just scrunched up their face in an attempt to keep from breaking down again. They shook their head.
”Alright, I’m sorry for asking...  What would you like to do instead?”
“Stop it!” Lloyd’s voice was louder than they’d like it to be, startling both of them. “Don’t apologize, it’s my fault.  I-I’m just being... stupid and mean.” they sunk into the couch.
”Why do you say that?”
”’Cause— because I’m feeling so bad, and it’s ‘cause of you... but you didn’t do anything—“ Lloyd finally looked at Zane (who looked hurt at the weak accusation), the older person’s cool new piercings and luminescent eyes mocking Lloyd. “I’m jealous of you.”
“...Why?” Zane’s echoing voice finally responded.
“I wanna be like you.  You’re literally a fighting machine, without having to look like a big strong... boy.  And you can just, like, do what you want with yourself! You painted your snowflakes on, and your hair doesn’t move, and you have cool eyes that you can change whenever you want!” Lloyd ranted, growing more frustrated and subsequently more guilty by the moment.  They eventually stopped talking, taking a deep breath.
Zane formulated his answer carefully.  Lloyd could only imagine the terrible things they must have been thinking about them. “I’m sorry you feel that way...” he started.  “But Lloyd? I have to tell you something.”
Lloyd uncooperatively stared at the ground until Zane placed a hand on their shoulder.  “I’ve done these changes to become more human.”
“What?”
“My freckles, my irises, even the piercings— Those are human things. I’ve always felt this disconnect with my nindroid body, even envious of my human friends at times… so I give myself modifications to feel more human.” Zane said. “The point is, it’s okay to feel jealousy. Everyone feels that way sometimes, it doesn’t make you a horrible person.”
“But—“
”But that’s not all.  Lloyd, just a because it may be harder for you to do these things, doesn’t mean that you can’t change what you look like.  Humans get modifications all the time.”
Lloyd thought about that.  They wanted piercings, they wanted a more extreme hairstyle, they wanted new clothing… but most importantly, they wanted to simply not be the old Lloyd Garmadon.
”My mom, though.” They countered.  Misako was very against changing their appearance; Lloyd personally thought it was her way of holding onto their father, whom they looked very similar to.
”Your mother does not have to control you.  Maybe I’m being a bad influence, but myself and the rest of the team have money, and we can help you do things like cut your hair and buy clothing.”
”Seriously?” Lloyd voice was thick with emotion, this time not sadness.
”If it would help you feel better, of course!” Zane said.  “In the meantime, you can try on some of our stuff to get a feel for what you like.” Lloyd’s whole wardrobe had been picked out by their mother, and didn’t exactly reflect what they wanted to present as.
”Zane?” Lloyd asked.
“Yes?”
“I want to cut my hair.”
There really was nothing Zane wasn’t amazing at; the haircut he gave Lloyd did look very good.  It was closely cropped on one side, and combed over long on the other.  Along with that big change, Nya painted their nails, Kai helped them try out some interesting alternative makeup, and everyone helped out with the clothing.
After hours of this new, fun makeover, Lloyd looked in the mirror.  They felt exponentially better than that morning, every passing moment making them happier.
Zane had let them borrow a long, flowing dark blue skirt, Kai had donated an old sleeveless hoodie with a fun design on it, and Nya had adorned their arms and neck with tons of colorful bracelets and necklaces.  Jay offered some fun pins for the hoodie, and Cole promised to take them shopping the following day.
”Guys, you really don’t have to.” Lloyd was beginning to feel overwhelmed with everything their friends had given them.  There was still a nagging guilt at the back of their mind about being so upset for, in their mind, no reason— but Zane assured them that they would just finish up his own changes another day.
Finally, at the end of the evening, Lloyd was happy.  They gave each of their friends a big hug, and they all enjoyed talking, playing games, and watching movies late into the night.
A/N: this little Drabble is old, but I still like it :)

Can we have some platonic or romantic reader x Zane from lego ninjago?
Sure! I’m gonna go with romantic <3 (also this will take place in the time skip between seasons five and six)
Warnings: food/eating mention, some sad Zane
Relationship: established Zane x gn reader
Tumblr media
Dating Zane would turn out to be pretty hard. Of course, your new boyfriend was practically perfect— he was smart, kind, funny, and he could cook! But he was also a nindroid, which made him stand out in public.
Zane was by nature a quiet person, and would much rather stay home instead of go out only to be mobbed by curious people, or fans of his.
On one of these date nights, you sat on a bench near the end of one of Ninjago’s fishing piers, waiting for Zane to pick you up. The Destiny’s Bounty usually sat idle in the open ocean, so when you went to visit, Zane always have you a lift on his ice dragon.
Though ninjago city had been warm and sunny all day, the setting sun and proximity to the ocean made you shiver.
Something caught your attention. Blue light glowing against the darkening sky, reflecting off the calm sea. Yep, that’s Zane.
You smiled up at him as he landed the barely-corporeal ice dragon on the pier, making the old wooden planks creak.
Zane slid off of the dragon to meet you. “You look nice,” he said with a big smile.
You blushed slightly, thanking him. Zane gave you compliments often, but it still made you so happy.
Zane helped you climb onto the back of the dragon before quickly jumping on to sit behind you. He gave you a quick hug. “Are you cold?” He asked, having noticed you shivering.
“Maybe a little bit,” you said with a shaky laugh. In truth, the combination of Zane’s elemental dragon, the chilly wind from the ocean, and his cold metal body against your back were making you freezing.
“Don’t worry, I prepared a nice hot meal for when we get home.”
You smiled. “That sounds great!”
Once Zane’s dragon took off and began flying, the rushing wind made it hard to talk. The lull in conversation gave you an opportunity to reflect on your time together.
You had been dating Zane for a little over a year now, and things were going great. At first it was hard to get used to his hectic life— soon after you started dating, he got swept up in a huge fight with a bunch of ghosts, and that had been pretty stressful— but other than that, it had been smooth sailing.
It had been pretty funny when you first met his team— the rest of the ninja certainly were just as odd as Zane, in their own unique ways. Though you didn’t see them as often, they were really friendly, and you got along well.
When you reached the Bounty, Zane helped out off the dragon and onto the swaying deck of the ship. The dragon disappeared, and the two of you were left in near darkness, the dim glow of Zane’s blue eyes casting you in light.
Zane breathed a sigh. “It’s been a while since I’ve had to keep the dragon out that long… next time we should just pick you up with the boat.” He said with a small laugh.
“I thought conjuring an energy dragon was about conquering your fears,” you said as the two of you made your way into the cabin of the ship.
Zane shrugged. “Well, I’m always a little nervous when you fly with me— I don’t want you to get hurt.” He led you into the kitchen
You smiled warmly. “That’s sweet, Zane— I’m never worried, you know… I feel safe with you.” You said shyly, avoiding eye contact by taking a look at the food he’d prepared.
“Aw, thanks—“ Zane started, but was quickly interrupted.
“How did you know my favorite!” You said excitedly, grabbing a dish to serve yourself. “It looks so good!”
Zane laughed, beaming. “Well, Nya told me you mentioned it to her a while back…”
You smiled wide. He went out of his way to do this… you thanked him, getting yourself a portion of the food.
“Of course, I love seeing you happy.” Zane said earnestly as he put a pot of tea on the modern-looking hibachi in the dining room. As a nindroid, Zane didn’t have the organs to eat food, but he did love tea.
You sat down on the cushion next to where Zane always sat— you usually sat across from him (better for talking, you know) but that night you wanted to be close to him.
“So how’ve you been?” You asked, still focused on your food.
“Well, I’m pretty pleased— we’ve had the day off from training, so that was nice.” Zane said, with a smile in his voice.
You looked up to catch him staring at you— he quickly turned forward to pour himself a cup of tea, spilling a little.
“What are you looking at?” You asked, wanting to tease him a little.
“You,” he answered truthfully as he used his sleeve to wipe up the spill. He then took a sip, burning his tongue. “Ow!”
“How can you get burned if you’re a nindroid?” You asked conversationally. “Plus, you’re the master of ice.”
“I can feel some things, you know.” He said, sticking two cold metal fingers in his mouth to sooth the burn. “Mostly on my face.”
Your face heated up. “You can feel when we kiss?” You weren’t quite sure why that made you embarrassed.
“Of course!” Zane said, going back to drinking his tea, slowly and carefully this time. “What did you think?” He smiled, amused.
You laughed awkwardly. “I don’t know. I guess that’s normal.”
Zane nodded. “I like it, by the way.”
“What?”
“Just so you don’t worry about it. I like kissing and hugging you.” Zane stated plainly.
You smiled, looking down at the table. “…Yeah, you too.” It took a lot of getting used to to be so physically affectionate with someone who was literally made of titanium, but it was nice.
Zane was quiet for a moment. “Does it bother you that I’m not normal?”
You were surprised at the question. You didn’t think rational, smart Zane would be insecure about something like that, if at all. “No way! I think you’re great just the way you are.”
Zane smiled. “Even though I’m cold?”
“Yeah, I don’t mind!” You said reassuringly, hugging him.
“I used to be more human. Have I ever told you?”
You shook your head. “Well, I know you got rebuilt…”
“Here, check this out.” Zane pulled out his phone and scrolled through most of his photos, all the way back to the beginning. There was a group photo of the entire ninja team.
It took you a moment to recognize him. Zane zoomed in on a smiling face in the middle. You saw a tall teenage boy with short blond hair wearing a white ninja gi. And he did look human.
“Wow, that does look pretty different,” you didn’t really know what to say.
Zane nodded, smiling at the picture a little sadly. “You know, I used to think I was a human for a while. Funny that I never realized.” He turned off his phone and put it away.
Zane still smiled as he sipped his tea, but the energy in the room was different. Bittersweet.
“Sorry for all that. I didn’t mean to ruin the mood.” Zane said, trying to laugh it off.
You leaned against him, still eating your food, knowing it would diffuse the tension. “No, it’s okay. I like hearing what you’re thinking.”
Zane nodded. “I… sometimes wish I could be human again. Well, not again, but you know…” he said. He sounded so tired.
You nodded, though you didn’t really understand.
“…so thanks.“
You met Zane’s eyes again. “What do you mean?”
Zane leaned his head against yours, a genuinely happy smile on his face. “My life is very… weird. I always have to save Ninjago from ghosts, and snakes, and even other nindroids. Being with you makes me feel normal.” He explained.
You felt the exact opposite, but in a good way— as an average citizen of Ninjago City, you didn’t have the most exciting life. Meeting Zane and the rest of the ninja had made your weekends very eventful. This new friend group was a lot of fun.
“I love you, Zane.”
Zane’s smile broadened. “I love you too.”
Zane kissed you then. It was cold, but not bad. In fact, it was the best kiss you had ever shared.
A/N: hi I hope you like this! I had fun writing it :) Zane is one of my favorite characters to write for in Ninjago!

Hey can I request a kyoya x reader fic with him comforting her though a bad mental health day please if you don’t want to it’s completely fine
Yep! This is a great idea <3
Tumblr media
Warnings: negative self talk, general sadness (but of course Kyoya is there to help you feel better)
Relationships: established Kyoya x reader
Bad days were by no means unfamiliar to you. The fatigue, the hopelessness… it was hard to deal with. But over time you had built a good support system, who were there for you every time you were struggling. Your boyfriend, Kyoya, was especially good. He got to know every side of you, even the sad and scared parts. He knew how to help you.
That didn’t mean it wasn’t scary to ask for help. I want to be with Kyoya but I don’t want to annoy him… you had woken up hours ago after a poor sleep and already felt bad, and hadn’t gotten out of bed since.
Staring at your phone screen, feeling your heart hurt with anxiety, you wondered if you should call him.
Just thinking about speaking, knowing your voice would be shaky and thick with emotion, flooded you with shame.
Instead, you texted him. It was only a few seconds before he replied.
Can I come over?
Of course, love.
That was around noon. It took some time to gather the courage to get out of bed, put your shoes on, and get into your car. You didn’t have the energy to find an outfit to change into, but that didn’t matter. Kyoya wouldn’t mind.
Now, as you stood on the large, fancy front porch of your boyfriend’s home, you were feeling sick to your stomach. What if his parents open the door? I can’t let them see me like this… you worried, thinking about how undignified you probably looked— face red from crying in the car on the way there, hair unbrushed, mismatched pajamas— no way.
Sitting down on the step, tears brimming in your eyes once more, you combed through your hair with shaking hands.
I’m outside
I’ll come get you.
You put your phone in your pocket and wiped the tears from your eyes, waiting nervously. After a minute you heard somebody fumbling to unlock the heavy brass deadbolt, so you stood up and turned to meet him.
Kyoya opened the door too quickly, bumping it into himself. His expression was worried, but melted into relief when he saw that you were okay.
Stepping outside in his house slippers, he wrapped you in his arms. You closed your exhausted eyes and hugged him back, tightly. It’s okay now.
The hug was immensely comforting— you felt the pain in your heart soothed for a moment. You sighed, but it was shaky and too quick— you still felt fragile, like you could break into heaving sobs if you tried to speak.
Minutes passed. You hadn’t realized how cold you were until Kyoya warmed you up. He always did run hot— in the summer it made holding hands and cuddling uncomfortable, but now you couldn’t find it in yourself to care.
Kyoya patted your back gently and you pulled back to look up at him.
“Would you like to come inside?”
Feeling a little overwhelmed, you just nodded and followed as he led you up the stairs to his room. He closed to door after you.
You sat down on the soft purple couch and picked up a throw pillow to hold on your lap. Having something to hug made you feel better.
Kyoya sat beside you. Close enough for you to feel him, close enough that you wouldn’t forget he was there for you.
“How are you feeling?” Kyoya asked in a quiet, gentle voice.
A tear slipped down your face. Your lips trembled, so you took a deep breath and brought a hand up to wipe away the tears, which wouldn’t stop falling.
“…Not good.” You replied, voice thick with emotion. You tried to force a laugh, to lighten the mood, but the sound got caught in your throat and turned into a sob. Then another. Finally breaking down, you covered your face, trying to stay quiet. I hate the way I look when I cry.
“Hey, it’s okay, you can cry if you need to.” Kyoya gently placed a hand on your arm, guiding your hands away from your face. “You’ll feel better if you get it out.” He said, sincerely looking you in the eye.
Squeezing Kyoya’s slender hand, you inhaled shakily, and let yourself keep crying.
Kyoya leaned into you. He adjusted positions so that he could wrap one arm around you.
You didn’t know how long you cried. By the time it slowed into tearful, uneven breaths and a pounding headache, you felt some of the foreboding pressure release.
Your eyes stung from tears. The muscles in your neck hurt from crying so hard. You felt sleepy, and your head hurt so bad, but Kyoya had pulled you into a comfortable hug. Your back against his chest, his head resting on yours, his arms wrapped around you.
His heartbeat thumping steadily against your shoulder blade, in of tune with your own deafeningly loud heartbeat, resounding throughout your skull.
“Would you like to lie down?” Kyoya asked, whispering. You nodded.
Standing up slowly, you felt like you were waking up from a nightmare. You still felt raw and sad and deeply lonely, but the dread was gone. You cross the room to sit on Kyoya’s bed, feeling a little awkward.
You watched as Kyoya bent down to get a bottle of water out of his mini fridge.
“Have you eaten?” He asked as he handed it to you.
“Not yet.” You replied, absentmindedly pressing the cold water against your wrist. It was a trick Kyoya had taught you in the past to help calm yourself down. You weren’t certain if there was any science behind it, but it was refreshing regardless.
Not wanting to leave you alone, Kyoya pulled out his phone and texted a message, presumably to one of his family’s chefs, to bring a meal up to his room.
“Alright.“ he said to himself, leaving his phone on the bedside table. He rummaged in the drawer for a packet of tissues and handed them to you.
After wiping your face and drinking half of the water bottle, you sighed and got comfortable on the large bed. You closed your eyes, and listened as there was a knock, Kyoya went to his bedroom door and exchanged some polite words with the maid who delivered the platter, and finally your boyfriend walked across the room to settle down next to you.
“Toast, fruit salad, a little cake, some tea… how’s that sound?”
You rolled over, resting your head on your arm, and saw him sat on the bed next to you, spreading the butter and jam on your toast. “Thanks.”
“Anything you need, love.” He said, smiling softly.
You ate slowly. It was a comfortable silence. Once you were full, you smiled tiredly, eyes falling closed again.
Kyoya snuggled closer to you. You felt the question coming. “Did something happen?” He asked.
Contentment now tinged with guilt, you shook your head. “Just a bad day. Sorry to bother you over nothing.” You said.
Kyoya propped himself up on his elbows to look down at you seriously. “I’m glad you came over. I’m glad I can help you at times like these. This—“ he gestured to you lying on his bed. “Doesn’t bother me.”
You swallowed the lump in your throat, not wanting to cry again. “But… it’s not fun, looking after me…” you argued.
Kyoya wrapped his arm around you, pulling you closer. “I’m not with you to have fun.” He pressed a kiss to the side of your head. “I’m with you because I love you.” He said simply.
You nodded, not trusting your voice. A tear slipped down your temple, into your hair. You stared at the ceiling.
“Wanna talk about it?” Kyoya asked in a whisper.
“About what?” Also a whisper.
“What you’re feeling.” Kyoya took off his glasses and set them on the beside table so he could snuggle closer into the crook of your neck.
You had a lot on your mind, admittedly. “Do you think I’m ugly?”
“Nope.” Kyoya answered without hesitation. He was serious, too, not at all invalidating your fears.
“Are you sure? I didn’t even put on makeup.”
Kyoya sat up and leaned over to look down at you. At first he feigned a serious inspection of your every feature, but he broke into giggles after bumping noses with you. “Sorry.” He said with a quick kiss. “I think you look absolutely lovely.”
You smiled, amused. “Okay… and I guess I’m not bothering you…” Kyoya nodded, laying back down. “But I hate making you sad.” You knew it could be emotionally taxing to love someone who struggled with their mental health.
Kyoya was thoughtful for a moment. “I do feel sad when you’re upset,” he started. “But that’s okay. I love being with you.”
You turned your head to look at Kyoya. He was smiling, lost in thought. Thinking about you.
“Aren’t I annoying?” You asked, carefully watching his expression. “You’re so smart, and I’m not.”
Kyoya shook his head. “Of course not. And besides, I admire your creativity and caring personality far more than any letter grade you could achieve.”
“But why?”
“I love you.” Kyoya shrugged. “I don’t know… I’m not good with words.” He said, blushing a little. “I like how you always give me a hug before you leave. I like when you tell me about the stuff you like. I think it’s nice how you wait for me when I have to tie my shoe, and everyone else walks ahead, and I… I love so much of you.”
“You really do?”
“I really do.“ Kyoya nodded.
You were lost for words. “Huh.” Your mind was simmering down from the negativity, now thinking about what Kyoya had said. He likes me that much?
“So, uh— wanna stay for dinner?” He asked with a shy, but genuine smile.
A/N: I hope you enjoy this ❤️sorry it’s kind of short! Anyway this was nice to write, I’ve never written anything focused on Kyoya before :0 have a nice day!
