I don't endorse my art being reuploaded on pinterest without my awareness and consent, but the unfortunate reality is that there's very little I can do to stop people from doing that. I know a lot of artists have a similar sort of antagonistic relationship with the site purely because it's so full of stolen, unsourced and uncredited art. I could spend my days going through pinterest and reporting my pieces for removal, and it wouldn't be enough and I'd never have time to do anything else. It's kind of a pick your fights situation and I know I can't win that one.

I have the balls to write this question without being a ~mysterious annon~ besides I really like you and your writings so when I have questions your the only person I trust to ask. I'm no longer shy anyway my question was about Dia and RAD. Is he the principal there? And Lucifer is his right hand man? Okay, so RAD. I mean, the details here aren't great. They tell you at the very beginning of OG that Diavolo and Lucifer and all his brothers are Student Council members. Diavolo is obviously the president of the Student Council and Lucifer is his right hand man... though I can't remember if they ever say he's the vice president?

But I don't think they've ever talked about a principal? And they've never talked about professors, either.

So is there a faculty of demons? A principal? Professors? Other such staff members?? Or is the whole school run by the Student Council and the professors just... are hired by Diavolo, Barbatos, and/or Lucifer???

Also it's the Royal Academy of Diavolo, so you would think he'd be in charge of the whole thing???

The annoying part is that they kind of imply that Diavolo and Barbatos and Lucifer also attend classes. Which is bonkers to me. Lucifer I could maybe see. But I always thought of Diavolo and Barbatos as just... faculty. Like they aren't professors, but they run the whole thing, so they don't have time to actually study as students??

Unfortunately, I don't think there's a direct answer to your question. Canon leaves this pretty open to interpretation. All we've got is that there is a Student Council, Diavolo is the head of it, Lucifer and his brothers are all on it.

Everything else is whatever you like to headcanon!

I personally like the idea that Diavolo essentially acts as the principal, but he just prefers to be thought of as a student, thus the Student Council President situation. I also imagine there are a lot of demons who are the professors and other staff, but we just never get to see them in game because they're like background filler demons, you know? Otherwise, it's just students in charge of students and that sounds like a mess waiting to happen lol.

sooo close to finishing the collector model... weight painting has become my enemy again

#ghost town... 2!#actually the problem was the asymmetrical number of uhhh glowy orbs at the waist #and by applying automatic weights without checking “x mirror” the orbs were causing the ribs to move wrong #so i spent hours trying to fix that before realizing what the actual issue was gjhfgvv but i THINK it's working fine now #just gotta fix the weighting on the shackles AGAIN and then it SHOULD be time to throw this guy into unity finally #unless i'm forgetting something #but also wrist hurty :'D #edit YES I FORGOT SOMETHING. DIGITIGRADE LEGS. You know, something I appreciate in Percy Jackson is that there is no *bad* Cabin.

There isn’t a group of kids considered to be inherently bad or cursed just because of one of their members actions, their cabin’s history, or their godly parent’s role/demeanor/actions.

this truly is the hardest question. :( but after much consideration, I think Endless Halloween Night wins out for me, because it's nonstop Characters Being Silly the whole way through. the whole thing is just lots of these little dorks having the most ridiculous interactions, which is always my favorite! and of course the big twist is SO delightfully stupid and doubles down SO hard that it becomes AMAZING and I 100% unironically adore it. AND it's Halloween! everyone is in their cute little costumes and having a spooky adventure! it's great!

however, I am ALSO a big fan of the Harveston event! how can I not be! everyone is wearing comfy winter outfits and getting along really weirdly well with Epel's grandma and he's getting a little worried about that! my terrible loud son sews a plush squirrel and then gives it a silly little nickname and refuses to leave it behind when it breaks! the ending shot with the sled! I LOVE IT.

So the Away From Home Festival is basically a festival that Louis started last year in London and then did again this year in Spain. I would say it is a proper festival, but it’s definitely significantly smaller than something like Coachella or what most of us think of as festivals. There are multiple performers and Louis is the headliner, but there’s only one stage and one night so it has a small scale. Louis has talked about wanting to expand it to multiple days in the future and I think he plans to keep it growing for as long as he’s able to.

As for new tattoos....Louis got a tattoo earlier this year that says “odds” on his arm, which is an inside joke (seemingly related to a bet) with his band and crew. In 2019, he got a tattoo from the elderly man named Richard that he worked with on a bucket list video for Two Of Us. I think that’s it in the last three years.

I don’t think Harry has gotten any tattoos in that period....

i appreciate the curiosity and desire to understand when people ask me what growing up religious/in a cult was like, how religion and religious trauma impacts me, why i'm so against christianity, but i kind of dread those questions now because it's so... impossible to explain it properly. i don't know how to explain to people that don't have that experience that it's everything and it's a million little things.

#like. there's a reason my therapist didn't really get the religious trauma until we had been working on it every week for at least a year #i keep trying to write this post and explaining it but i keep dissociating and like #that's part of it too #there are a lot of things i don't remember that only come to me when i'm triggered/having a flashback #there are a lot of things that are normalized so even when i realize they're traumatizing #other people don't #there are a lot of things that don't sound very upsetting and only make sense in the context of larger things #there are some things you can't understand the weight of unless you've been in it #there are some thing you just straight up forget until something reminds you of it #there are just... so many bits and pieces that make up what makes it traumatic #and xtianity is so fucking normalized that nobody blinks an eye about it #if i never have to explain my religious trauma to a MHP again it will be too soon #religious trauma #ex christian #ex cult

This is hyperspecific but one of my favorite accidental tropes is a thing I've taken to calling 'occam's trans twin'.

It's very specifically about media that has a set of clearly identical twins except for the fact one is a woman and one is a man. In theory, yeah, there might be some weird worldbuilding or magic shenanigans or whatever that would allow for a set of identical twins of different genders, but it's just simpler to assume one is trans instead of bending over backwards assuming nonexistent authorial intent otherwise.

Extra funny points when it pulls the sister trope, the 'schrodinger's trans twin' in which both twins have the same amount of trans vibes that, until proven in canon, they could both potentially be the trans one. They both are the trans one and not the trans one at the same time.

#also very easy to make headcanons because no one can argue with you #the author clearly didn't clock the vibes they'd accidentally be giving them when they made their identical twins different genders #i haven't listened to TAZ in years but this was inspired by taako and lup and how they perfectly fit both these tropes #99% sure lup is canonically trans unless i'm forgetting something #transgender #trans #fandom
