the people have spoken! we are having a dtblr trick or treat around October 29-November 3!
Some ground rules are as follows:
You send a mutual or a fellow dream/dream team/dteam-adjacent blog an ask "🦇 trick or treat! 🎃" in any way, shape or form. Write a short prompt, add some emojis with your message, let wherever your creativity takes you!

THE AU: As i said, its a failed "3"rd regression context, where yjh is now in his "4"th round. The last memory he has of kdj is him dying, and to make things worse "In this round, that guy doesn't exist." is a thing, so yjh freaks out a bit but hes totally normal about this whole ordeal & the fact that he doesnt even remembers kdj's face now. Wdym! Hes fiiiiiine!

!!THAT [Somehow, im inspired to write [...]] HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE!!. I always like. do an outline for the overall story and vibe, then flesh out the start or something and cook up a little 500 (probably unsatisfying) words for fun kind of as a bonus. Keep it mostly for my private enjoyment and move on before the story comes to life.
And that's okay... Yes, it would be cooler to actually write the AU ideas i get in novel or comic form instead of having them stay at just the 'sketch' & 'idea/brainstorm' phase before i get another idea and leave them to dust up in the pile,,
But yeah, its okay.
In the few years since ive started getting ideas for more elaborate aus/fics, ive noticed that my ideas improved with time. (no shit, i know, but it makes me happy! i grew up!!! i can see it.)
My planning methods are better too. So all of that unfinished or abandoned stuff is not at all useless work in my eyes. And who knows, maybe one day i'll bring them back.
--> as a plus, all my fandom brainrot experiences even get transferred into my OC stuff, and frl whenever i read my notes these days (or listen to my voice memos lol) and im just like "HOW DID I THINK OF THIS WOW" or "WHEN DID I PUT THIS LIKE THIS? IT WORKS!" (not to brag or anything but my oc lore goes hard ☝️)
BUT. NOW THIS IS UNEXPECTED.
I DID NO PLANNING. I just started writing for orv and its. Lowkey, good ???? Dont get me wrong i only have 1.5k right now and there are clear holes i have to fill and stuff but... CLEAR HOLES! CLEAR HOLES. Sure Im used to being like "something of the sort should go there..." BUT THIS TIME ITS "THIS SHOULD GO THERE, ILL WRITE IT LATER BUT THE IMAGE IS IN MY MIND, CLEAR AS WATER, AND ONCE I START PUTTING IT ON THE PAGE ISTG THOSE WORDS WILL STREAM OUT OF MY FINGERS AS IF IT WAS A NORMAL OCCURENCE FOR ME" ,,- !??? Yo!
Anyways. Point is that somehow theres interesting stuff going on in my gg doc and the more i write the more i know where i want to go, so that's cool, i feel all powerfull for once

do you have any favorite fanfics involving grovyle, dusknoir, & celebi, either shipping or platonic? 🥺
In fact, I have some! Perhaps if I hadn't found them I'd be a bit more sane now, alas...
So the next three are all from the same author and are my favourites from PMD (although I havent looked for Grovyle/Celebi or Dusknoir/Celebi alone, idk if someone has some recommendations for those). Still, tho, here is what I've read.

Platonic future trio (tho the author has stated that they can see the shipping happening lol). I like this one especially bc of the Celebi appreciation, she's the POV and has added lore abour her crucial role in keeping the dark future stable and helping to fix it. Also great dusknoir and grovyle characterization, but that's a given with this author.
The next three are actaeon (Dusknoir/Grovyle), so Celebi barely appears or has relevance. It's a shame, but they're still

This one is also actaeon, but theres also focus on Hero/Partner. It's a retelling of EoS through snippets of Hero, Partner, Grovyle and Dusknoir's PoV, and is really well narrated. While i was put off at first by the idea of a retelling of the game, I was pleasantly surprised by how entertaining the story and characters are! ts unfinished, and unfortunately ends before the story progresses much beyond the plot of the game, however the part of the story that is set in post game is precious. and it also has my favourite thing ever, that is, future trio not knowing what the hell to do with their lives now that theyre not dead.

This one is not from the same author, but it's also short and sweet, and it even inspired one of my posta about future trio (the one with grovyle's "tail" wagging xd). Maybe it can get a bit too "fanfic-y" at times, but I still enjoyed it a lot. Its basically actaeon hurt/comfort and discussing what their future is gonna be now the the world is back on track and on its way to healing.
So yeah those are the ones I've read and enjoyed lmao. If you've looked for pmd fics before you might have already read them, since there arent a lot of fics and these are all well tagged and all.

In case anyone wants another snippet from the Reverb/Savitar fic I'm working on...
“Fine,” Reverb said dismissively, waving Savitar off. And the speedster was out like a light when he collapsed onto one of the nearby cots. It was Reverb’s, not Savitar’s, but he looked so peaceful that Reverb couldn’t bring himself to make Savitar move.
Instead he watched Savitar sleep contemplatively for a bit and then retrieved a sketch pad. Moving past unfinished designs for Dante’s scythe, he began to craft something else. Something new.
Something that would protect Savitar from other speedsters.
Reverb began to design armor. His movements as he sketched were sharp and angular, creating an inhuman visage meant to intimidate, but streamlined so that it wouldn’t slow Savitar down. Something dangerous… armor fit for a god-to-be.
In canon we never find out where the armor came from, so now this AU has it's own explanation. :D

Agreeing with you, taking a little break from all the smut after Frozen Smut Week... (cough, cough...) does me good, too... lol
So, this week, I´d like to share another snippet from my kristanna long-fic WIP "Love can see beyond" (the sequel to Love can see the good on AO3), a canon verse compliant post Frozen 2 fanfic.
Background: Kristoff is crowned King alongside Queen Anna of Arendelle, and right now the married royal couple spends some time abroad icognito (for the time being)... and this fic is going to be a crossover...
Note: This snippet is not edited yet... (please, forgive grammar and spelling mistakes...) but a huge thank you @hiptoff who has beta-read this passage a pretty while ago already!

Gerda had served them a hearty breakfast when Kai announced that he had received the full list of guests so that the royal couple could prepare themselves for the banquet. All those names, titles, noble houses, and then sorting kingdoms and stately connections. Kristoff groaned by the mere thought of the lesson he would receive from the senior Steward later the day. But then, who else could explain all those things better to them than Kai. And so, the young king sighed, dutifully acknowledging the awaiting task.
Only half an hour later they headed down the servants´ staircase and casually walked around the castle gardens and towards the stables. Kristoff smiled to himself. He liked that incognito disguise and tugged at his comfy vest and adjusted his sash, while Anna looked around and marvelled at the variety of flowers around her. It was truly a beautiful parc, Kristoff had to admit, too.
The two reindeers greeted their friends with a happy snort, raising their heads from the last bit of hay that lingered on the ground. Anna went to gather more from the stuck in the adjoined barn and Kristoff started mocking out the stable ground.
Soon, they were done and led the animals out of the stall to give them the opportunity to move about.
“What about we head down to the beach? I am sure there are not many people, and we could let Sven and Fiona run a bit?” Anna pointed towards the path which led away from the stables down to the shore.
“That´s a great idea.” Kristoff smiled and then helped Anna mount Fiona before he swung himself on Sven´s back. He begun to enjoy his time here more and more.
They rode down the path and some people who walked by turned their heads upon the unusual sight of those animals with antlers, and who was riding them? Kristoff and Anna smiled at the passers-by and kept going without another word than good day and hello. It was so easy and made them feel so free.
Once down on sandy ground, Kristoff turned to Anna and grinned, “fancy a little galop?”
“You mean a race?” Anna grinned back.
“No, just a galop.” Kristoff shook his head.
“And I call it a race.” Anna laughed and clicked her tongue on which Fiona snorted happily and set into a cant along the lagune. It was simply wonderful, only that they left the man and reindeer behind them completely flabbergasted.
“Come on, Sven, you would not have your lady running off, will you?” Kristoff laughed and Sven shook his head only to sprint after his friend. It was fun and it didn´t take long for them to catch up and the four enjoyed themselves immensely while galloping close to the water gushing in on the animals´ feet. Anna squealed and reached out so Kristoff could take her hand. She felt more than happy. This was fantastic since they had not such a beach to run like this in Arendelle.
They let the reindeers slow down after a while and caught their breaths, too. But both laughed and their faces glowed from all the joy. Sven and Fiona snorted contentedly and trotted peacefully along the sand now. Anna looked around, breathed in the fresh air and let out a sigh of relief.
“I could get used to that.”
“No comment to that.” Kristoff glanced at her with a wink, and Anna playfully stuck out her tongue at him, “will you tease me now on every sentence I speak about that place?”
“No, Anna. It just sounded so fitting to what we talked about this morning.”
“See?!”
“Alright, alright, I surrender, and I am sorry. And you are right, this is really….”
“Hush!” Anna held up her hand and pulled at Fiona´s rein, staring with narrowed eyes further down the beach.
“What is it?” Kristoff followed her glance and then gasped just as astonished. They got down from the reindeers and led them behind the dunes and further down the beach hidden behind the sandy hills to get a closer look. They ducked behind a lager dune and left Sven and Fiona graze behind them, while the king and queen of Arendelle crawled up the dune from behind to peep over the top. They could hardly believe what they saw, but it was awesome. Kristoff glanced at Anna who stared with almost watering eyes. He knew what she must be thinking and whispered hoarsely, “it´s magic!”
“Yes!” Anna whispered back. “Look, she moves a bit like Elsa.”
“Yeah…” Kristoff stared ahead.

Most important one - I am starting to archive all the TSP fanfics and ideas I have written in Stanarrator server to post them finally on my AO3! We are already over 10k words I do need some help with what people would like the most
I'm already starting work on the TBG fanfic :] here is a snippet
Whatever it is, I'll do my best to find out and show creators that it's worth it. That it isn't leaving you vulnerable. You cannot get mad at someone for reading wrong when they don't have a way to know how they're supposed to read something! And getting a creator's perspective, and trying to get the idea, can make you appreciate it more.
My arms are still healing and while writing isn't too bad, drawing is a struggle so it will take me a bit of time to finish the work but I am sketching slowly :]

I love doing writing ask games :) It definitely gives me motivation to keep working on my fics! I'm also adding on the rule that for every ask I get, I have to spend 10 minutes working on a fic to give me extra motivation.

WIP GAME
Anyway @tinacentury tagged me!

So this game is going to kill me lol because I have a WIP folder that is WAY LONGER than my finished folder. I have decided to only list fic-wips that actually have a significant amount of stuff in them beyond my idea to a synopsis. Like, fics that already have a few to a lot of pages of snippets of scenes and dialogue.
But... remember that my mind does not work in linear writing, I generate a lot of ideas and dismiss a lot of them later on, and sometimes I come back to an idea with a new thought and suddenly it’s a whole thing all over again. Or sometimes two or more separate story ideas morph into one instead. It's a wild ride in that WIP folder. I start way more fics than I ever bring to the posting stage. So the fact that the fics are on this list now, does not in the LEAST guarantee that even half of these will ever see the light of day, or that they might even be the next things posted, so.... read with caution lol. (But also, I WANT to write them, and still love these, so... if I do, I do, if I don’t, I don’t lol.) Either way, some of them have been in there forever, most of them get some snippets of thoughts added into them again and again, some I’m not working on because they’re similar to ideas that already exist as fics out there lol. ANYWAY.
Puppetteer. No brainer, lol. This one is being activiely worked on and posted, as you know.

A break up arc goes on fic set during Stars where Tuxedo Mask is one of Galaxias minions
A S1 dynamic fic where Tux and SM are a team and go to each other for cuddles but will absolutely deny something is going on between them
An AU where Mamoru NEVER remembered being Tuxedo Mask and Usagi silently gives him up but protects the shit out of him once like, Dream arc comes around and he and golden crystal are needed
a roommate AU where they are senshi team mates but not dating with all the mutual pining
a roomate AU where it’s Minako and Mamoru who are roommates and they are the only ones who remember shit
a Sailor Cosmos fic following her life where everybody dies and she’s all alone and eventually decides to go back in time as chibi chibi
nightmare loop in which mamoru has to make usagi fall for him over and over again
Mutual Pining friends with benefits fic where everyone is stupid and it’s all Motoki’s fault
A WEIRD self-insert-y fic where I have a therapist who is loosely based on me in a fourth wall break style who does real schema therapy with Mamoru and his trauma... yeah...

A little moment addressing that thing in R where Mamoru brought Natsumi flowers
A Terrace House AU
A Purgatory fic that plays RIGHT before La Douleur Exquise in which Usagi has completely given up on ever being with Mamoru and Mamoru starts to cling
A Purgatory fic that plays AFTER La Douleur Exquise and deals with them dealing with the aftermath of LDE and learning to now be, like, together lol
