Headcanon that Ceruledges are just as loyal as Armorouges, but in their own dark, revenge-y way. Like, once they get attached to you? You can bet your ass they won't hesitate to throw hands (er, swords) and cut a bitch if anyone were to do you harm. And if anything happened to you? They will hunt down whoever was responsible and make them pay.

I keep hearing things like there being a "canon" mutiverse and error 404 being the "strongest canon au sans" is this really true?

Canon to Alphatale perhaps, though each multiverse has their own set of canon elements.

To clarify on "multiverse", we define a multiverse in the same way@undertaleauoc does, which is an expanse in which certain AUs belong. In short, there is no "canon multiverse", since either all the AUs are canon to Undertale (in which it's all canon), or no AU is canon to Undertale (in which it's all non-canon). Best we've gotten from Toby Fox on that is Undertale, Deltarune, and not much else. For the sake of argument, the rest of this post (below the line) will assume that all AUs are canon to one-another in some way, and will seek to explain how that is possible.

If you're not interested, you're not missing anything super important to Alphatale! tl;dr, it's somewhat complicated. Simply put, Error!404 is the strongest Sans in the Alphaverse.

For the sake of uniformity, the following on "Undertale Multiverse Lore" (feel free to read that ironically) is presented as it is defined by the Undertale AU Network. To dial down on potential confusion, the term "alternate universe" (AU) will only be used when referring to the collective story from an author in a setting. The term "universe" will be used when referring to a singular expanse of space that is like to itself (see Underfell, Underswap, Storyshift, etc.). The term "multiverse" will be used when referring to any expanse where multiple universes exist; this term being divided to "generic multiverse" (GM) and "defined multiverse" (DM). The term "author's universe" will be used when referring to the setting an AU's author uses for their story.

For example, Handplates and the Alphaverse are both AUs and author's universes. However, since Handplates doesn't directly involve itself in a greater multiverse, it is stored within the GM, while the Alphaverse in itself is a DM.

The generic multiverse is as it says in its name, it is the generic multiverse where all universes and author's universes are assumed to be placed, unless stated otherwise by an author.

A defined multiverse is opposite to the generic multiverse in that it has definition and substance. Out!Codes (characters that are explicitly stated to travel between universes) traverse inside DMs freely, as an author wills. In the GM, an author's universe is typically confined to a single universe (or several, if the author has made several), such as something like Horrortale. Horrortale was created by Sour-Apple-Studios, so Sour-Apple only has control over that universe within the GM. However, with a DM (such as the Alphaverse of Alphatale; the Underverse of Xtale/Underverse, or the Rhoverse of Undertale Rho), the author's universe is almost always the entire multiverse. I, Alphasaith, have complete control over what happens within the Rhoverse. Nothing I do in the Rhoverse can affect anything that happens within the Underverse. Jakei has complete control over what happens within the Underverse, and nothing they do in the Underverse can affect anything that happens within the Rhoverse. Within the Rhoverse, I could have Error!Sans wipe out every Underfell in the multiverse, yet all Underfell universes in the GM or in other DMs are entirely unaffected.

Getting back on track to your question (finally), Error!404 is the strongest Sans within the multiverse. This is indisputable fact, and is entirely, 100% accurate, true, and canon. However, when "multiverse" is referred to anywhere on this blog, it will always be in reference to the Alphaverse, unless it is stated otherwise. Error!404 may or may not be the strongest Sans in the Rhoverse, and he cannot be the strongest Sans in the Underverse because he doesn't exist in the Underverse. He cannot be the most powerful Sans in the generic multiverse either, since he is an entity of the multiverse, and only exists in defined multiverses where he is explicitly stated to exist.
