Uinta Was Angeles Lager (Picked up at Harmons in Salt Lake City). A 3 of 4. This is a perfectly good, uncomplicated lager. Smells faintly of some citrus and grassy notes, and the body has a clean grain sweetness to it and the distinctive lager yeast you’d expect. Clean, simple, and refreshing.

when I visited Utah in June, @popsunner and I went hiking around Uinta-Wasatch-Cache. the first image is from some tree roots I saw that reminded me of a heart, and the second was when we went back later in the day and explored around the river (click images for better quality!)
we also walked along this big-ass pipe to get across the river. this picture was taken on my phone, and is therefore a Lot crunchier

Uinta Hazy Nosh IPA (Picked up at Harmons in Salt Lake City). A 3 of 4. Manages to squeeze quite a bit of hop complexity and soft body into a 5% beer -- mostly tropical fruit in the nose, and a slight juicy quality in the body. Not nearly as hefty of a body has something an ABV % or two higher, but you get what they’re going for.
