Pure Project Super Beta Hazy IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. Tons of tropical fruit bursting out of this in the nose, and really showcases a perfectly balanced hazy yet lighter beer. Quite enjoyable, and a touch on the fruity/sweet side if I had any complaints, as there's not much bitterness to speak of.

There Does Not Exist 60 Days in Hell Helles Lager (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. Very true to the style in its simplicity, and hard to critique. Very faint grassy and floral hop notes in the nose, and a clean, slightly grain sweetness in the body. Clean, good, and it's hard to not think about how wonderful all lagers would be if they had the attention to detail this one had.

Burgeon Nature Calls! IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Big, pungent nose with a mix of tropical fruit, citrus, and some pine and resin. Light body that drinks easily, and is quite refreshing. Not going to blow you away, but would definitely grab again.

Pure Project Wild Waves West Coast IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Primarily lemon/lime and tropical fruit in the nose, and much the same in the body. Definitely a more unique tropical fruit hop profile on this, and the light body lets the hops shine through. Quite refreshing and interesting, but not sure it lives up to the West Coast IPA style.

North Park + CLAG Brewing Just Claggin' Around TDH Hazy TIPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. This is excellent. Just bursting with tropical fruit, stone fruit, and lots of candy-like notes, this is really excellent in the nose. The body is somehow reasonably well-balanced despite being 10% with quite a lot of sweetness and juiciness, as well as an aggressive bitterness towards the finish.

Cerveceria Wendlandt Mexi Hazy IPA (Picked up at Total Wine). A 3 of 4. Smells of orange citrus and some faint stone fruit, and has a medium body with some smoothness to it. Quite well-balanced with very little bitterness and lots of fruit in the nose and up front.

Brooklyn Brewery Pulp Art Imperial IPA (Picked up at Total Wine). A 3 of 4. Very pineapple-forward and lots of bitter citrus pith. Masks the ABV a bit, but this is pretty aggressive on the palate and less enjoyable than I hoped for. Still, decently in the middle of the pack for the style.

Pure Project Pure West IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. A very tropical-forward West Coast IPA with just a touch of haze to it and heft in the body. Lower ABV and only mild bitterness, this is very much hop-forward and fruity.

Noble Ale Works Tigers are Awesome (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Really great can art -- struggled to fit it in the photo. Big orange citrus and tropical fruit in the nose, and a standard and good IPA body behind it. Balanced and very easy-drinking.

Fall Brewing Tropical IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. A pretty standard West Coast IPA with some stone fruit and orange in the nose, and a lighter body with your standard hop profile. Lighter bitterness than usual. Solid, but not particularly memorable.

North Park Triple Dry Hop the World TDH Hazy DIPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. Yeah, this is kind of stupid at the limit re: its hop profile -- just bursting with tropical fruit, berries, stone fruit, and candy-like notes. Drinks as if it's big, which it is, relatively, yet manages to balance itself reasonably well on the palate and feels quite soft. Would love to grab another someday, just incredibly pungent.

Fall Brewing Beautiful World West Coast IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Nice berry and grapefruit notes that stand out of the more typical pine/citrus hop profile, and a lighter, clean body. Quite drinkable and light on the palate with a moderately aggressive bitterness in the finish.

Pure Project + Humble Sea Otter Romp Hazy Double IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. Incredibly different hop profile on this with nearly all lemon/lime and coconut, and then a slightly more traditional citrus and tropical profile in the body. Thick and hazy as expected, and has a soft feel on the palate.

A pour of Goose Island's 2012 Bourbon County Brand Stout on tap at Miller's Pub in Chicago. A 4 of 4. At 12 years old, this is honestly better than any other BCBS I've had over the years, I think. Super well-integrated, and tons of smoke, roast, oak, and bourbon throughout. A heavy-hitter at 15%, but sips easily and while complex, the flavors work perfectly together. Convinced me to seek out more older Goose Island if given the opportunity.

Pure Project Double Arch West Coast Double IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. While I enjoy a hazy/murky IPA from Pure, there's not much better than a beautifully executed classic West Coast IPA. Tons of herbal, resin, and pine notes in this as well as some stone fruit and lighter tropical fruit. A really somewhat unique hop profile on this, and just bursting out of the can.

Russian River RnD Series IPA #35 (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Very much in the style of other Russian River IPAs despite the more interesting hop profile -- a pretty classic West Coast IPA on a lighter body than I was expecting. Mostly citrus/grapefruit and some pine/resin, but relatively lighter.
