OC DUMP!!!!! And a rambly life update haha

Haven’t been drawing a lot because the semester was difficult ESPECIALLY around finals. As a break between studying I would often sketch my Kirby ocs! These were are all scattered throughout August - December. Still making the ref for Sir Meteor, so he hasn’t been introduced officially yet (unless you have seen me post about him in discords lol), but he’s been a work-in-progress ever since I posted those allosaurus skull studies in August X)

My winter break has started recently and I’m itching to create again, especially since I have those requests that I opened, I wanted to do them way faster but assignments are priority sadly. As a reward for anyone who has read this far, have a peek at my next planned full piece!

Tim may have been a Fae as Robin, but for Red Robin he's a Coatl that's been cracked and put back together. Batgirl Cass is also a Coatl, though her yellow is meant to evoke her utility belt.

Here's an oldie! Also one of my very favorites, but it's bittersweet, as this awesome area no longer exists.

They changed the flight characteristics almost completely about six months before Sky went live. When they did, they removed these GIANT statues that were on the top of the two peaks flanking the temple leading to the race. (they look like the ones in the races, blowing horns). Getting up here, especially alone, was a challenge. Probably why they removed them as you’d never make it up there with the new, more restrictive flight (you could fly straight up before, if you wished, any direction you pleased, as long as you had the wing power to do so). It was very high, and you had to stay very close to the statues or hit a wind wall and either fall or lose control. Even if you didn't hit them, the wind here was wild. It made collecting the candles scattered in nooks on the statues and on top of the horns a challenge.

Before, from afar. You can see it’s very unfinished. Not a lot of detail, except the capes. I miss these cape patterns too.

On top of the horn of one of the statues (the one on the left in the first picture) before they were removed. You can see just how BIG they were, and how HIGH it was. Yep, that’s the Citadel way, way down below!

All those hearts above Sage’s head represented how many we’d traded at that point. I don’t know if it was how many I had given her, or how many she had given me, specifically. Obviously that feature had to go, because the number of hearts only grew as time went by. Get in a group of friends you traded hearts with regularly, and it got very cluttered, to the point you couldn’t read names.

I don't have the time at all to run a Capes In The Dark game because I'm already gm-ing one thing and there's no time. BUT I think it would be fun to make a setting for it as of like. 2 years before pcs would join. just for funzies.

The Twin Ports, or Duluth, MN and Superior, WIS, have to be successful. They represent one of the northernmost PRT branches and one of the most southernmost Guild branches respectively. They're not particularly large cities, but have the cape population of two Bostons or Chicagos. Mostly, though, their value is symbolic. One of the first places to be attacked by Leviathan, they're the only real example of a city that not only recovered, but thrived post endbringer. This is mostly due to the work of architectural Tinkers, including Sphere in his early career and the current head of the Guild Twin Ports, Bauhaus
