Bazar Madame Voodoo - Magnolia Promenade

when the paranormal stuff came out, i freaked out. I love all things exotic and centered around spiritualism! and of course my sims are addicted to these arts. So, here's a shop that will satisfy the needs of your spiritualist Sims!

it's a bazaar that sells creepy stuff and I tried to dedicate it to Santa Muerte

there is a small room where you can have séances

of course, the bathroom is also dark and mysterious

while, upstairs, you can relax reading a book and drinking a good coffee

The SOL furniture Store and Starbucks Cafe Magnolia Promenade

I turned the incredible @annasiims' SOL baby store and Café into a three story furniture showcase to inspire me before starting a new build. 100/10 recommend for anyone who forgets the CC they have installed.

Lot info follows:

1. Magnolia’s Comfy Casual (The Roadstead) - A clothier. As of the Cottage Living patch, placing lots containing mannequins will crash the game. Therefore, I’ve uploaded the mannequins separately. They are fully dressed except for formal & party outfits.

2. Nana’s Chocolaterie (JF&S Clothiers) - A fully stocked bakery. There’s also a one-bedroom flat upstairs so you could run this as a live-in business using mods.

3. Tome Raiders (Paddywack’s Emporium) - So named because they sell books and some metals and crystals. It’s meant to be like a comic book store with collectibles and costumes but we don’t actually have those so we just make do. Since mannequin placement isn’t very predictable I’ve included a no-mannequin lot with said mannequins uploaded in a separate Room.

4. Gouache & Grocery (Preeminent Domain) - A grocer and art gallery combo.

BONUS. Paintings from reference, written books I also shared the paintings and books that I had my sims create for these lots separately so you could also use them for your own retail lots if you so wished. Their qualities vary.

(the books include my own Midgard/Oben series which I’ve been trying to write forever and ever but am never done)

You wanted some ridiculous builds to replace all four lots in Magnolia Promenade? I have you covered! Sort of. Arguably, the grocery store and the Recreation Center are fairly normal looking. Still, here are four lots to replace whatever is going on in that tiny Get to Work map.

This lot functions as a thrift and boba store and has everything you need for that. It looks like it would feel right at home in a carnival. You haven't made over your #MagnoliaPromenade into a carnival yet? Huh, its a great place for those debug buildings from High School Years. Speaking of, that ice cream stand FROM HSY is fully functional!

Lot Type: Recreation Center

Enjoy a sense of community in your #MagnoliaPromenade with this little recreation center. Positioned next to the park, your sims and their kids can take full advantage of skill building in the area. What about the teens, you ask? Half of this build is an arcade, game away, sims!

Lot Type: Retail

This lot is now an oldie, but a goodie. One of my favorite builds I've ever made. A fully stocked grocery store. Mostly, I never added My Wedding Stories baked goods. Still, this is my first choice for sending sims to buy angel fish and random fizzy drinks.

Faire La Fete Barcade 🕹️🍸

IRL I am for some reason repulsed by the concept of a barcade BUT in The Sims... it just works. Game cabinets, card tables, live entertainment, karaoke, and great drinks for your sims to enjoy!
