"Urgh, why do I feel so bad this morning?" Belle muttered to herself as she started getting out of bed, just after 4AM.
It took a split second for her to remember the first sign of pregnancy.
"Plum," she swore and quickly grabbed her belly, noticing it was a lot bigger than the night before.
Unlike last time, she chose not to wake Bruno. They had an infant now, they couldn't afford to lose out on sleep.
So she got back into bed and snuggled up against her husband, excited to reveal the news to him in the morning.

Jeremiah Avery - Certified dudebro Jeremiah applied to take part so he could take control of his life and finally leave his mother's home. His mother had similar ideas.
Evangeline Flores - Awkward Evangeline applied to take part in the hopes that she'd meet that special someone and start a family. Can she put on a confident face in this new group of people?
Izumi Hashimoto - CC Model and certified boss bitch random-gen townie turned snatched Izumi has joined up with her fiance now that her modelling work is winding down. Will they stay together and make a go of things in their new home?

FIRE
I just went through a fire in the game and although using a fire extinguisher sounds unrealistic for the time I find myself in, I ended up creating some rules and will start using them in future cases of fire on the lot. EVERY FIRE CAN BE EXTINGUISHED WITH THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER. Afterwards, a number from 1-100 must be drawn for each family member (including pets) at home at the time, this also includes sims from other households, if the fire happens during their visit to the lot.
For newborns, infants, toddlers and children
If the number drawn is between 1 and 50, the family member must die.
If the number drawn is between 51 and 79, the family member survives, but with trauma. Some of their traits must be replaced by hot-headed, erratic, malicious, evil, materialistic, paranoid, clumsy, lonely or gloomy. If it is impossible to change the trait at the moment, this trait must be added at the first opportunity.
If the number drawn is between 80 and 100, the family member survives without major trauma.
For teenager, young adult, adult and elderly
If the number drawn is between 1 and 50, the family member must die.
If the number drawn is between 51 and 79, the family member survives, but with trauma. Some of your traits must be replaced by hot-headed, erratic, malicious, evil, materialistic, paranoid, clumsy, lonely or gloomy. This family member fought bravely during the fire and gained some scars on their body.
If the number drawn is between 80 and 100, the family member survives without major trauma.
For pets
If the number drawn is between 1 and 50, the pet must die.
If the number drawn is between 51 and 100, the pet must live.

"When you wake up tomorrow Gael, it'll be Founders' Day, the first official holiday in Happily Ever After," Bruno explained to his infant daughter as he put her to bed that night. "Do you know what that means?"
Gael stared at her dad with big brown eyes, looking a little perplexed.
"It means we celebrate the plum out of your mama," he continued without skipping a beat. "She did so many cool things these last 8 years to make sure you had a wonderful future in this brand new world — her and all the other founders. It's gonna be a very special day!"
Gael yawned and closed her eyes.
"Good night, pequeña," Bruno chuckled.

[a moment of quiet wonder... and also fishing]
"Did you guys ever hear the story of the first rainbow?"
"Uhhh, like... Noah's ark?"
[scoff] "Fuck no! This one's way better than that..."
...but Dawson is too caught up in his own thoughts—errr, I mean, fishing!—to listen. Definitely just really zoned in on fishing. 👀
Dawson seems to me to have two modes: confident and carefree or quiet and stoic, seemingly focused on the task at hand but awash in feelings he can't quite articulate or process:
Loss. Isolation. Shame?
...Unfortunately it appear that fishing brings out the latter in him.

Yet another one of Belle's books was off to be published.
She swelled up with pride at the notification telling her she was a notable newcomer now, although soon after she was hit with a wave of crippling anxiety.
She didn't actually want to be famous! She didn't want any attention! She just wanted to write books and let other sims enjoy the stories inside her head!

Having an infant that needed to take a lot of naps wasn't such a bad thing.
Sure, sometimes they resulted in her not sleeping through the night, but it also meant Bruno and Belle had some free time on their hands during the day for their respective hobbies.
For example, Bruno got to finish two paintings after dinner. No masterpieces yet, but he was getting pretty skilled. It wouldn't be long now!

Bruno made Belle a tasty Founders' Day breakfast with the eggs he collected from the coop.
"I have a surprise for you, too," Belle told him.
"Oh come on, you're the one that's supposed to be celebrated today!" Bruno told her with a playful grin.
Belle couldn't keep it to herself any longer. She blurted out the words, giddy with excitement. "We're gonna have another baby!"
