happy saturday! pls excuse the preview, i'm rusty. here is the lovely retro vintage vibe set by kkb converted for the sims 2. this took me awhile, so many fixes and redo's along the way. @_@ as always, please lmk if you run into any issues, enjoy!~ (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧

'SimLine Lite' Telephones | Download Both a wall-mounted and table telephone made from the smaller cradle on the NL podiums, shown here with Michelle's K&B recolours. :) The base textures are repo'd to the BG SimLine phone, and will pick up any pre-existing recolours you have. The wall-mounted phone's shadow is repo'd to the table phone. Both are slightly cheaper than their larger variants, at §45 (table) and §55 (wall). GUIDs have been randomised, and files have been compressorised; 301/303 polys.

Popped Color Curtains - 4t2 Base Game Conversion

Sul sul! I've been wanting to convert these curtains for awhile, finally got around to it today. Details below!

I can never have enough curtains, especially full-length ones. These are the Popped Color Curtains from TS4 base game and they come in 20 colors. I separated the rod and curtains into subsets so I could add a few recolors of the rods as well (they're attached to the mesh and recolors 10-13) and removed the shine. The right curtain is slaved to the left.

A numbered swatch is included so you can easily keep just what you like (just bear in mind the rod recolors if that's important to you).

Cellphone Default: RECOLORABLE Moto Razr V3

This idea came on super suddenly, but I wanted it so much I kept trying at it until I got it. It wouldn't have been possible without @loonyjelly helping me create the recolorable default file, as my attempts had me crashing the game lol.

The mesh and base textures are the work of mohd14 on MTS.

All I did was edit the Motorola brand name, the screen/UI, and the letters on the numpad so that they would be in simlish. Mohd14 made 9 colors of the Motorola Razr V3, so those 9 are included, plus I set up a PSD file for easy recolors, so there's a 10th recolor included that I made (the red one).

In addition to the PSD, I've also included transparent PNGs of all 10 recolors. The transparent part is the wallpaper/background on the phone screens (front & back), so you can add in any picture you want with the little network/battery/UI symbols remaining where they are!

Functional Cookie Jars for The Sims 2

These are 2 functional cookie jars with 8 different type of cookies. Your sims can eat them on command or autonomously (type of cookie is random). The jar won't spoil, but after 12 cookies your sims have to refill it and it will cost 20 simoleon. The jars have to be put on a surface to work. Found in kitchen appliances - miscellaneous. You'll need also the 8 cookies packages and the invisible plate for them to work (all included in the download below). You can have both jars in your game: one is converted from Icemunmun (cookies are from this creator too) and the other from Ravasheen. All is low poly.

Object Freedom 1.0

Tired of using cheats to get objects/Sims/Pets to be placed where you want them to be? Tired of doors and windows freaking out when an object is placed in front of them? This mod alleviates a good portion of those issues. More info after the cut.

Scope of this Mod

This mod modifies how objects are picked up and placed. Additionally, this mod also allows all objects to stay on residential lots when a Sim moves out, similarly to the Moving/Appliance mod, but now supports all objects. If Object Freedom is added, you’ll want to put the objects you want your Sims to take with them in their inventories upon moving out.

Objects, Sims, and Pets can also be shifted up and down like in @lamare-sims Shiftable Everything Mod; Windows/Doors are excluded from this still due to the wallmasks not cooperating.

You can place decorative objects in front of the door and sims will walk through them. Otherwise, Sims/Pets will consider other objects in front of the door as a blocked portal. If you give about a half tile of space, Sims seem to be able to get through the door okay. If you have a two tile door you can block one door panel and Sims will be able to walk through the other door. A similar principle may be allowed for 3 tile doors, I just haven’t tried it yet.

Objects can also be placed in the street. Driveways can be placed elsewhere, like an upper level. A driveway is still required for placing cars.

You can still use SilentLucidity’s Walk Around/Walk Through Blocks. The overall intention of this mod is to reduce the amount of times moveobjects/walk through blocks are needed.

Cool Things You Can Do

If your rooms have more than one door, but you’re low on space, you can place an object in front of the door, like a bed, desk, table, etc. and not need to worry about the wallmasks disappearing.

Does this mod shift objects up and down? Yes!

Doors/Arches can be placed next to each other at the corner of walls!

Sims hanging out? You can easily grab the Sims conversing (without MoveObjects) and place them on a desk/table/counter/etc. and they’ll stay in place chatting. You may need to move them manually if they are done with the interaction.

Table Dancing? You bet!

Nesting tables? Sure!

Can you store objects under stairs (all of them), in foundations or attics? Yes!

Conflicts

This mod will conflict with @lamare-sims Shiftable Everything mod as this mod compounds more on the Init-Object BHAV that the Shiftable Everything mod changes (includes Placement Flags 2 Literal A; Adjustable Height) . If you want this mod, you’ll need to remove Lamare’s.

You can still shift objects with Object Freedom.

This mod also modifies the “Inits” of several global/controllers. They are: Init-Person, Init-Accessory, Init-Cat, Init-Connected Column, Init-Dog, Init-Sculptures-Common, Init-Small Dog, Init-Ceiling/Floor/Table Plants, Init-Windows, and Init-Doors.

Numenor’s Custom Objects on OFB Shelves. Current solution: use @jellymeduza’s OFB Shelves mod.

Keep in Mind

This mod was built with EPs installed, and will at least require Apartment Life.

If you do upload lots with this mod installed, and the downloader doesn’t have this mod their lots may not function as intended with this mod not installed on their system. So you’ll most likely want to let other players know you have this mod installed.

Objects placed before this mod won’t have these affects. You would need to replace each item.

If Sims have an object attached to them, I noticed this when Sims are using an accessory they won’t be able to be picked up unless you use moveObjects on.

Here are a few replacements for TS2 engagement ring - I've also included my edit of Ring stones by color traits mod by @episims (tweaked stone colors) - it requires Epi's color traits.

Note/update: Epi has shared an alternative version of ring stones by color traits - with added wedding ring stones (using my stone colors), so if you like the idea of decorated wedding rings, check it out.

TS2 Engagement Ring Defaults

Download (SFS)

Ring polycount: 596 (original is around 390).

Each replacement (ring band color, ring mesh) is optional, and compatible with stones by color traits mod.

[NOTE]: if you get a glitch where rings become rotated, I recommend Epi's ring updater to solve that issue. FYI the replacements don't affect ring rotation, glitch also happens in unmoded game.

Epi's colour traits mod requires Easy Inventory Check mod by @hexagonal-bipyramid - it is included. You need Nightlife EP or later EPs for it to work.

TF/AF/EF 'Hair Modern Punk' | Download A MtF conversion of the single scene hairstyle Maxis gave us. x) Textures are repo'd to the original TS2 Store hair, and are pinned to the store edition; unnaturals are binned instead of custom, like the originals. OFB 'Cuffed Pants' default replacement | Download Some bright and cheerful blue jean recolours of Nimbussims' patterned cuffs. :)

4t2 Fireplaces

My previews are like... I'm not impressed. Don't let them fool you, a whole lotta effort was put into these fireplaces and I hope they live up to it.

First and foremost, huge credits to @episims and @lordcrumps for their edits to Numenor's templates to allow the ts4 logs to ignite when the fire is lit. They also worked out the Realm of Magic fireplace to have green fire and purple/blue smoke. Love that!

If you have LordCrumps' Horse Ranch "Sturdy Ranch" & "While the Irons Hot", & Desert Luxe "Earthen Fireplace" delete them (and their Scriptorium_Fireplace scripts) and replace with mine. If you have my Decor to the Max "Warmly Chromatic Fireplace" delete it and the script file and replace with the new version (Decor to the Max 4t2 pack has been updated as of 17 April 2024).

10 fireplaces can be found in buy > appliances > misc 16 fireplaces can be found in build > misc > fireplaces 3 decorative objects can be found in buy > deco > misc 2 mirrors for EastEggElite & CrystalHearth can be found in deco > mirrors 1 tv for EastEggElite can be found in electronics > tvs

Mt. Komorebi - 4t2 Conversion of Kiwisim4's Paintings

I'm almost done with that large conversion set I've been working on, but in the meantime I wanted to share this lovely artwork with y'all!

I stumbled onto these paintings yesterday and knew I had to have them, so I did a quick conversion while I drank my coffee this morning. I tried to add subsets to the mesh but the texture would have required remapping and that's just not in my skillset yet.

Anyway, the original artwork is by @e-aplouf and was made into TS4 art by @kiwisim4. There are twelve paintings total, just one frame color (I don't use dark frames nearly as often as light ones and it didn't seem worth the duplicate textures):

A numbered swatch is included so you can easily keep just what you like.

Driveway Skating

A "crate of skates" that turns a driveway into a fully functional mini-skating rink for up to two Sims.

All actions from a full size roller rink are supported.

Cannot be used if there is a car on the drive and Sims will automatically stop skating when the car returns.

Thanks to CaliBrat for the idea and Julie J for the footwear meshes and textures.

Retro Korea Kitchen Set and Door for The Sims 2

These are 4to2 conversions from KKB (Kitchen - Door), low poly. 10 colors for the kitchen counter and cabinet and 17 for the door. The set includes: - a 3 tile kitchen counter with a slot for food prep/sink and two slots for deco purpose (you can put a omsp on them to prepare food too if you want, the second one is ideal for the stove), - a 3 tile kitchen cabinet (3 deco slots on it, on the shelf where I put the juice can to let you see), - a functional stove (can be used to fry and bake too), - a deco tableware shelf, - a functional door (that's medium poly).

That took a little longer than the anticipated "few more days", sorry for that! Started over twice, spent hours on the flowers (graphic design is no longer my passion) and the mirror is only half finished but these were done so I'll just do two separate posts. Without further ado:

The Simple Washer from Kountry Pipes in seven Cluedo Woods and ten Cluedo Colors. Towels are also recolored in all ten colors. As usual (I should start a tag for these!) I've also made some recolors with flowers on them, matching my earlier recolors of the Cowpoke Stove, Blue Ribbon Countertop counters/A Less Threatening Rack and The Refreshing Commode from McKraken Industries. I've also increased the texture size from 256x256 to 512x512 because the flowers were very blurry (and couldn't get the textures right on the smaller size afterwards but that's another story).

Dirty states for everything included!

Also as usual an option for a file to replace the default colors. Look at the second picture to see which color replaces what. I've also replaced the towel colors (not pictured), with blue, green, peach and white.

(I'm trying to stay consistent between the sets in what replaces what but I took a little liberty in replacing the mint towel with green instead of grey like the mint color in my Cowpoke Stove default because I didn't want both a grey and white towel as default. I'm sure nobody cares.😁)
