Hello, fellow internet/app users. I am unemployed for the first time in 15 years and I don’t know exactly what to do with myself…so here I am writing these blog posts. My grammar will not be correct and there is likely to be a lot of mistakes in my writing fair warning to any that might be reading this. I know my page concept is probably not original but its new for me and that’s enough.

Facts about me, I am 35, unmarried with no children and live with my rescue blue healer mix. Not having children or a spouse is my choice.

I have always felt there is something so beautiful, possibly magical, about the truth. It’s a risk, being honest. I am not talking about the basic kind of honesty, that is genuine, heart felt, revealing, raw, refreshing, transcendent  in its ability to stir deep emotions, and provoke though: TRUTH.

I plan on using this page to tell my truths. I am so excited to go on this journey, even if it’s just with myself.

The heaviest beauty is often buried. This is part two. @myprom and I went to La Merced, a sprawling marketing in Mexico City. It is crowded. There is chaos and dirt and poverty. But those things can not be equated with ugliness only by their essence, though the global cultural standard is to equate them. In the middle of the market, once you’ve gotten lost and lost again, and you come out for air, you might find this mural that is in the works. It is a piece of stunning artwork the spans the side of an entire building, bright colors and figures towering over the market stalls. It is this idea @myprom asked me to write about, that beauty can appear anywhere, even where you least expect it. It is a blatant physical manifestation of something obviously beautiful surrounded by what most consider as not so beautiful. I beg to differ, and I think the mural begs us all to differ as well. It begs us to find a lens in every situation that warms our hearts with beauty. It provides a window into another perspective, a change of heart plastered onto our eyes. Poverty is not ugly. If you look at studies, poverty leads to some of the happiest people alive, which just goes to show that money is not a primary source of beauty. My favorite pic of me at #theburn. Not just because of how it turned out, but how it happened! Can you believe this was the first try? I never formally introduced myself to the gay guy who helped pose me. I went up in front of #TruthIsBeauty with @rahkster 📸, tried the pose, gay guy comes up and fixes me for 5 seconds, camera clicks, gay guy looks at viewfinder, and both of them yelled a celebratory, "OOOOHHHH!!!" Magical things happen at festivals. It teaches you that magical things happen when you're having fun in life ... And not trying so hard. . .
