Shoutout to people with trichotillomania. People with bald spots. People with patchy or no eyebrows. People with thin or no lashes. People with sores on their faces, their scalps, their legs, their arms, or everywhere. People who pull consciously, subconsciously, or both. People who can't swim or wear certain clothes because of trichotillomania. People whose trichotillomania causes them pain. People's whose trichotillomania doesn't. People who pull 24/7, people who don't or barely pull anymore. People who want to get better and people who don't. People who visibly have it and people who don't. People who are open about their trichotillomania, and people who aren't. You're doing amazing however you handle it. You are beautiful regardless of your hair and how you feel about it. You are beautiful regardless your urges. You are beautiful and worthy of love. I'm proud of you.

I haven't posted on this account in some time. I hope you all are doing the best you can in this world of chaos.
I was perusing Facebook, and a suggested shop came up. It had spooky plushies for zodiac, mental illnesses and the like.
How cute! I need them all!
So I started scrolling to check them all out, and I came across something very unique.
A trichotilomania plushie.
A FUN THING REPRESENTING US.
WE WERE REPRESENTED.
WE WERE THOUGHT OF, SHARED, AND LOVED.
I cried.
And then I openly wepped because it's sold out. SOLD OUT.
Good for you, #PlushieDreadfuls
Thank you. 💚

Trichotillomania culture is wanting to grow back your eyebrows, but thinking that it looks weird when they somewhat do because you haven't seen them kinda full for so long.

I'm a big fan of fidget jewelry. It's discreet, stylish, and I don't have to worry about accidentally leaving it somewhere since I'm wearing it.
I love my tangle toys, but I don't feel like carrying them around at work is very practical.
I love my spinner rings and my möbii necklace!

hello, to whoever is reading this.
i hope this account finds you whenever you need it the most and i hope i can be of assistance then.
what qualifications do i bring to the table?
a seasoned trickster* for the past 12 years, been in remission and relapsed once, ongoing trickster*, have a background in the field of medicine, introvert, dealing with comorbid mental health issues side by side and pretty distressed everyday about the fact that i am making no progress with my hair.
so if i had to say it, i probably know and understand what you're going through and why you decided to search for the hashtag associated with trich.
it sucks. it sucks a lot and i hate it.
i'm starting this account in order to kind of figure out what helps people control and tackle it, what is helping me, me trying out certain things systematically and sharing my results here, and hopefully creating a space where we can feel safe saying the word 'trich' and saying it frequently to desensitize it a bit.
my dms are open to listening to stories and tips. i'll upload twice a week starting from tomorrow.

Can't stop pulling my hair. Got scared when I saw a flashing light. I left a message for my eye doctor but the stress of what could be overflowed into self destruction.
I feel better after talking about it. Just gotta focus on today. Right now. That's all.

if you ever feel unloved or too strange to be loved just look at any fandom and dont worry there are people who are attracted, adore, and/or want the best for personalities like you already
