Triaina: Academy Update (12/29/2023)

Hello everyone. It's been a long time coming hasn't it. But I am very happy to announce the new update for Triaina: Academy, which incorporates a whopping 81k words, even larger than I originally anticipated, to provide ya'll with a series of unique developments for each RO during the Day of Independence Festival.

It was far longer than I had originally anticipated, and took far more time in the development stages than I wanted it to due to my own scheduling complications and lack of effective time, but you are all nontheless justified in your concerns over the lack of progress.

I anticipate upcoming updates to be on a far reduced scale, both to decrease my workload and provide a bit more consistency in my presence.

For those that have been anticipating this update, thank you for your patience. I hope you thoroughly enjoy all of the new content that's been added, and be sure to let me know what you enjoyed most!

Fay's Design

hair modeled after locs, chose to do a gradient of dark green to bright green so that it wasn't all fluorescent

the two locs in front are pinned at the back of his head with the mentioned hairpin/hairclip in his original description

gold embellishments/accessories wrapped around his front locs

flowy, light green button-up with a dark green vest

golden buttons -- buttons on their button-up are four-leafed designs

very dark green slacks and brown dress shoes

usually wears brown gardening gloves/tough gloves in case he wants to handle plants physically

Reni's Design

hair modeled after knotless braids

light pink cardigan with darker pink accents, has all the card suits stitched on (spade on right arm, heart on left arm, diamond and clover on the front)

golden chain-link necklaces and 3 golden rings on each of their hands (not on thumb or pinkie)

blue jean shorts and long white socks with dark pink accent

black barbie shoes

colored glasses that are a gradient of pink and blue

Pier's Design

long messy red hair, held in a low pony-tail at the back of her neck

silver necklace and simple silver earrings, white bandage on the left side of her face

Mostly because Lamis grew up in a harem to begin with and Polyamory is something that she and the MC can experience together with a couple side romances. With Lamis, I can see her being happy with a poly romance. Bernie: I can see my bb with Sierrahn Fhylliont from @accursedwhispers-if Shorties Unite. Laz: L from @catt-nuevenor 's game, Myrk Mire. That is a relationship that I think Laz would enjoy. Even beyond paltry flirts. Amyntas: MARGARET from my DAAAAAHHHHLING Tyrant over there on @nextinline-if We know that Amyn is a simp. A murderous simp. Who needs a perfect wife. As we all know, our Gemini Qwueeeeen is a perfection that the birdy bastard can never hope to gain. Bishop: Riel from @shepherds-of-haven Bishop would love a husband who is close to his true personality and values. Indigo: MAEVE from @moiraimyths I would say Aife, but Indigo has a staunch ANTI-Monarchy rule when it comes to her lovers. She will not be burned Again.

'The Exile' by Pheo

Okay,, there is a lot of reasons why I ABSOLUTELY adore The Exile!! First of all, it is particularly long and since I am a fast reader, nothing really takes me more than a day to read, but The Exile is perfect for a long read! There are lots of stats and different scenarios to come across that, literally, make every playthrough unique. I also love how dark and gritty it is, I would just keep the content warnings in mind!!

i can be a tsundere, stoic or just sort of an asshole and still get the ro falling in love with me without having to act flirty or charming or being a very nice person, also the flavor text and the backgrounds of the MC, and that one yandere RO, plus the worldbuilding

Merry Christmas!

It is unfortunate that I worked through most of it haha

It's about 5 days until the update, and I'll go through a bit of what you can expect from it!

The festival has two parts to it.

The first part is the general festival date. This lets you go between four different locations, that either being looking through a small food court, trying out game stalls, browsing shops, or visiting a fortune teller's tent.

Though these are the same options for every RO, the specific romance route that you are in will determine completely different outcomes for each option (I.E. E checks out souvenires in the shop, L will be interested in books, while F inspects a flower shop). These scenes showcase different lore regarding each character's interests and various worldbuilding that ties into their route.

The second part of the festival is the character specific scene. This is an extended scene exclusive to the character's romance story in which a couple things will happen:

You will meet secondary characters tied very closely to the romance route you're on. Your father/fill in will appear, and meet/confront your chosen RO.

For some, the specific routes are very sweet (Hospital visit with E, Hairpin exchange with L, Running from the guards with S) While others are definitely steeped in malaise (V's betrayal, P's defeat, Raven's identity breakdown). Then there are others that have a little of both in them.

Overall, each one presents very substantial strides in the RO's story, and I'm both happy in how they ended up turning out and excited for you all to experience both the happiness and sorrow of this festival haha
