Ed Byrne: Tragedy Plus Time at Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh review - grief has inspired his best ever show
"Onstage Byrne is clearly fired up by emotion. The script is exquisitely crafted, with early lightweight asides taking on a heavier significance later. There is never a dull moment...With Tragedy Plus Time Byrne has hit new heights. A fitting showcase for Ed, a fitting tribute for Paul."

Something I wonder about Simon and Betty's relationship is how long they were together before the whole crown ordeal. But they were engaged, you say. My aunt (in)famously met my uncle and had a ring on her finger in 8 weeks. We've seen that both Betty and Simon were both weird outcasts, crazy determined and a pinch insane. I would not be surprised if they decided they'd met their one true love and got engaged super quick.
My point being, Betty's shifting to revolve around Simon and Simon's rose colored glasses of their relationship feels very much like New Love. They're people who love each other and love being a couple but still haven't quite figured out how to coexist together, as two people in a partnership. I feel like if they'd known each other longer, lived together longer, some of the issues we're seeing would have probably self resolved.
I don't think their relationship is toxic nor is it totally perfect. It's two lonely, most likely neurodivergent people in a relatively early relationship still figuring out how it works. Everything that happened afterwards: the crown, the seperation, the time travel, the magic/madness/sadness just exemplified issues they had both as individuals and as a couple.

In the "a day in the life of eclipse" it wasn't the first time Solar's Moon treated him badly. Remember when Lunar first showed up in Solar's dimension, Solar told Moon that there's a dimensional traveler and he'll deal with it. And his Moon responded with "good because I don't care!" it looks like his Moon has been aggressive/treated him badly to him from the start. Sorry, I just didn't understand what you meant by you ignoring the lore from a day in the life of eclipse because it is part of the lore now
You're new on my blog which i frequently ignore things in my headcanons from time to time. And that canon changes from how its interpreted.
Anyway, stems from Solar's explaining his moons situation. The lore SLIGHTLY changed. In terms of Moon, being slightly Glitched due to killcodes removal/memory loss. He never mentioned Moon being mean before that (at least not on the terms before he left his dimension). Not unlike things to be slightly aggressive from Moon tho, just it wasnt PERCIEVED moon was a jerk to Solar UNTIL Solar reveals this later on (after Lunars death). They didn't really develop his story until later a little more. So I'm sticking to my previous headcanon of Moon having a glitch, which is canon to s degree? SOLAR himself has mentioned he wanted to fix his MOON AND SUN. Which was forgotten/changed and turned into just sun then into Solar leaving forever.

Unfortunately even if ai bros dont target your style by name, if its in the dataset with certain tags (even just ‘fantasy character’) it could still be used 😢
I just hate AI so much 😭 like fine, I’m a hobbyist, in theory it doesn’t affect me much. But the way it targets people’s careers is just wrong. Just another way to exploit creatives who never had it easy to begin with. Not to mention the environmental effects.

if i want to write anything historical I'm so obcessive about the details. like 'omg i can't set this story in ancient Rome. what if I get some detail about Roman fashion wrong? it would be so embarassing!'
Meanwhile Shakespeare was like 'Julius Caesar's violent seizure of power and subsequent rule by force? haven't heard of it. my little meow meow would never.'

You know what annoys me about Resident Evil 8? Why Leonardo turns into a lycan. Last I checked lycans were created by Miranda infecting someone with a cadou and the host having a poor affinity for it.
The cadou are these big squirmy parasites that don't seem easily transmissible. My understanding was that implanting a cadou took surgery and I'm sure that if Leonardo were experimented on by Miranda she wouldn't just let him go if he wasn't turning into a lycan or dying immediately. Even if his transformation into a lycan was merely triggered by nearly dying or exposure to another lycan instead of caused by it, when did Leonardo get implanted with a cadou in the first place?
Lycans aren't werewolves, despite the obvious inspiration they're their own unique thing. They're people who didn't outright die when implanted with a cadou but were still negatively mutated by it. Did the writers just forget how lycans worked for this one plot point? Was the lycan that attacked Leonardo a unique mutation?
Considering Leonardo turning into a lycan is why all the survivors died (which even then feels a little contrived) it comes across to me as a very forced, neat way to have Ethan meet the last of the survivors and then have them immediately die so we conveniently don't have to think about the villagers when Chris nukes the place or their own feelings about Miranda using and betraying them. They should've lived, or if they did die it should've been with far more of a struggle.

what kind of time loop are you stuck in?
historical tragedy.
you know how people say that when someone dies, it’s like their candle goes out? of course you know, you’ve been lost in the dark before. you’ve felt the wax drip onto your skin as the wick burns out, the smoke rising away from the puddle in your hands. maybe you can reshape it—put it back together. maybe you can light it again someday.
