We're pretty protective of each other but Rumi is more protective of me since she's a Pro Hero.

Rumi & I sleep in the spoon position. She would have her arms around me. If I happen to be awake on some nights, Rumi & I would go for a night walk.

The colors reminds me of Rumi are white smoke, ruby & dark purple. The colors reminds Rumi of me are cardinal, sienna & canary yellow.

I motivate Rumi by trusting her, appreciate her & praise her for working hard. Rumi motivate me by using motivational words, motivate with positivity & appreciate me.

One of Rumi's comfort foods is chunky beef & vegetable soup. My comfort food is mac & cheese. Yes, we have made each others' comfort food.

We play video games, have a movie marathon, doing a workout & watch a TV series.

One of my favorite nicknames that I've given Rumi is rabbit ears. One of my favorite nicknames Rumi given me is baby carrot.

It would be express gratitude often & honestly.

It's more relaxed when I danced with Rumi.

Something that draws me to Rumi is how strong & open mind she is. Something that draws Rumi to me is how sweet I am.

Yes but only once in a while I hear her singing. Yes, I do sing for Rumi, even though I'm not the best singer since I have a deep voice.

They went for a long time without a label, just because both parties were... hesitant, to say the least. Vinnie struggled committing to a label, or even what to call their relationship in the first place. Carrie knew, though. Carrie, lover of romcoms and with his heart on his sleeve, knew what it was. In fact, he knew almost immediately when Vinnie started wanting to spend more personal time with him. He didn't want to pressure Vinnie into deciding something (the additional panic attack about whether he even felt the same way was to be ignored). Really, it was like everyone in their friend group (even the YouTube audience, who had never seen Carrie's face), called it what it was before them. Vinnie at first didn't make a big deal about it. His first time calling Carrie his boyfriend was over the phone with Jeff. Of course I'm bringing my boyfriend along, are you crazy? Vinnie only made a big deal about it a couple days later. They were watching something on the couch, Carrie resting his head against Vinnie's warm chest, when he feels Vinnie's breath catch. You're my boyfriend, right? Yeah. Of course I am. Carrie answered. Thought you knew already?

life is a long time ;

A lot of things have to go right for Carrie and Vinnie to get married. They have to live long enough for it to be worthwhile, and they have to either not know about the looming death in their iterations OR know, and know the ending this time. When they're unaware, but comfortable in their relationship, Carrie is the one daydreaming about a wedding. He'd like a whole day celebrating him and Vinnie and their eternal happiness; he wishes he remembered family enough to imagine a crowd of people for both of them throwing flower petals in the air. Maybe out in the country, an autumn wedding where everything warm-toned and crisp and cold. Vinnie doesn't think about weddings. He grew up his whole childhood Catholic, he thought he would be marrying a girl in a church. But with Carrie, if they were to get married, it'd be whatever made Carrie happiest. Vinnie'd be the one to propose, of course. Pop the question with a gem he'd know could be worn as a necklace rather than a ring. He just wants to see that smile.

We go on a winter hike, have an indoor picnic, drink hot chocolate, play board games, build a fort, indoor rock climbing, takes pictures in the snow, bake together & have a snowball fight.

🎄: What's something you always do around the holidays with your f/o?

Walk-through Christmas lights display, make cookies & go shopping together.

🌟: Do you and your f/o decorate for the holidays? Who does what part of the decorating if so? What sorts of ways does the decorating go wrong?

Yes, we do. I put up the lights, Christmas tree, Christmas Tableware, ornaments, candles, stockings up while Rumi puts up the Christmas Wreath, garland, the mistletoe & wintry flannel sheets for the bedroom.

🎁: How do you and your f/o handle gifting each other? Do you make lists and give them to each other or do you just intuit what the other wants? Some third method?

We make a lists & give them to each other. After we get done buying gifts, we put them in Christmas bags.

🍪: Do you or your f/o do any baking for the holidays?

Yes, Rumi & I do baking for the holidays.

❄️: What was your first Christmas with your f/o like?

Rumi & I cooked brunch together. While we were cooking together, we listened to Christmas instrumental music. Once we got done eating, we opened presents. For the rest of the day, we watched some Christmas movies while having a snack. We even wore matching Christmas sweaters & pajamas. We had a lovely first Christmas together!

🔔: Do either of you like Christmas music? Do you sing it if so?

Yes, we both like to listen to Christmas instrumental music. No, neither of us don't sing to Christmas music.

hi!! for the prompt blurbs.. kisses in the rain + desperate kisses combined f/o is jimmy mcgill/saul goodman from better call saul/breaking bad - he's kind of a dick, cuts corners and takes shortcuts rather than working for things he wants, criminal lawyer who tried to be legit and help people before deciding to just do it for the money. kinda closed off and wary of close relationships but gets attached real easy (abandonment issues) s/i is lucian donne (or mcgill, depending on when in our relationship it is), psychologist, friends with jimmy since college (so like, at least 15 years) and has had a massive crush on him for their entire friendship. nervous, sensitive, takes things to heart too much and has major abandonment issues relationship is basically Slow Burn Premium, jimmy didn't realize he Could like guys until he was told point blank that everyone can see it except for him and lucian. years of mutual pining except neither of them knew it was mutual. we tease and make fun of each other all the time, our love language is pretty much just bullying but we'd also die for each other if needed. like we call each other names and then cuddle on the couch all night because we're In Love

It rarely rains in New Mexico, just during the summertime months, and only for brief periods, where rain torrents painfully from the sky and subsides within only about a half an hour. You and Jimmy have been walking outside for about ten minutes as rain crashes down. The exhaustion has crawled into the lines of Jimmy’s face now that there’s time to hold still. Despite his frequent cutting of corners and dodging through legal red tape, his work takes a toll on him. He sits down on the cement doorstep next to you, avoiding the rain but embracing the smell of the desert in the rain.

Jimmy never knew that he was allowed to like men. It really never had actually clicked that he did, he’d just always had you and he’d known the way he felt about you but it had taken a long time for him to clock that the butterflies in his stomach were more than just frequent bouts of indigestion. Perhaps an inhumanly long time but it is what it is; it’s all good, man, after all. Jimmy turns his head to look at you, his eyes soft and blue as the Albuquerque sky.

You’d expected your first kiss to be softer or with some kind of build up. When you’d imagined it, lying in your bed late at night, you hadn’t been quite sure how to imagine it—always soft, but sometimes a lean in, you hate to admit it but the stupid “boy lean” appeals to you, or maybe it would be in a familiar place. Instead, it’s on the sidewalk, his hair plastering to your cheeks as the rain continues. His hands grip your cheeks and pull you in so closely that the only thing you know is him. His smell, his taste, the warmth of his upper lip, the press of his nose against your cheek.

The kiss catches you entirely off guard, but you grip his shoulders to ground yourself. When he breaks away, it is just as the rain stops, with the sun shining through the clouds. Jimmy bumps his forehead against yours. He doesn’t say anything. He doesn’t really need to.

What, would you say, is the most culturally significant piece of makoharu fanart? The fanart that caused an entire cultural reset not only in the makoharu fandom, but even across the free! fandom; the most famous fanart that every single makoharu shipper should have seen at least once in their fandom lifetime; the art most commonly associated to the ship that when you think "makoharu" that very specific art comes to mind; the art that summarizes makoharu as a whole?

Also which is the fanfic version of this for you?

I think the art that transcended even the fandom itself was this piece by jwitless. It's so iconic that it stills makes its rounds on the Internet and sometimes people don't even know it's Makoharu. It's timeless, it's life changing. I'm still in awe of it to this day, and i think there are few fanart pieces that have had a greater cultural impact. But then again, Makoharu ran so anime BL could walk 😔

However the art that will always be the most significant to me is this one by deli-not-here. It was my phone background back in high school (how was i that brave lol???) and it was at a time in my life where mh really got me Through It ya know? But that's just me.

I think fanfic wise nothing will ever top 2/13189000 by tide (tothemoon). This was easily THE talked about fic after s2 aired. (Similarly heart's departure by the same author is a fic that has caused great pain to p much every person in the fandom.)

Also even tho I've never read it bc it's just so long i know Eyes Wide Open All the Time has it's own fandom at this point and i would say that's damn impressive!
