Random Lookism Thoughts that I Get During Class:
(Whenever I daydream during class, I always think of these random scenarios or if they were real, they’d probably do these things IRL.)
Vasco: He would be heard singing One Direction with the rest of the Burn Knuckles crew in the hallway at school, especially the song What Makes You Beautiful.
Daniel Park: He’d be fine with helping his female friends out, by making him their makeup model to try different shades of makeup whenever he gets dragged into a makeup store with them, like in Sephora
Jay Hong: He’s the type of guy who’d gladly help you in finding puzzle pieces for a picture. Also, he’d be good at playing charades. (Only when acting out the topic.)
Samuel Seo: The type of mf to act like he can beat the shit out of everybody in a MMA ring but then cries at home after just losing one round to a professional. (Or maybe he’d get disqualified off the bat for not following the rules because we all know this man is a walking time bomb.)
Johan Seong: This guy acts like he’s the shit but then doesn’t even know what’s the shit. For instance, he claims to know all of the Tik Tok trends that Zack shows him, but doesn’t even have Tik Tok.
Zack Lee: The type of guy to think that Africa is a country. (Or England is his city. Mira had to correct him every time. LMAO) Also, he might think Drake’s music is top tier and you might catch him trying to sing “One Dance” to Mira.
Vin Jin: Let’s be honest. We all have a feeling that he’d be a rising underground SoundCloud rapper with his 50 followers on SoundCloud. His inspirations would probably be K-Hip Hop rappers such as ZICO, Jay Park, Flowsik, etc. (or anyone in H1GHR Music). And his fashion sense would probably be inspired by Dumbfoundead, who was inspired by American East L.A. hip hop. (You can see from Vin Jin’s previous outfits in older Lookism chapters, with his snapback cap, black hoodie, plaid shirts and gold chain)
Jake Kim: This dude would definitely bring the entire Big Deal crew to Disneyland, but they would be stuck in the entrance checkpoint since he was thinking of just barging in there for free. Even Jerry wore Mickey ears and was hoping to get into Disneyland that day.
Kouji: This kid would have trolled people online by causing unnecessary arguments and debates on Reddit, and would later dox them and expose their personal information on Reddit, 4chan, etc. (And maybe sell people’s personal info to shady people on the Dark Web for a good amount of cash.) His hobby would be looking into internet mysteries, such as Cicada 3301.
Eli Jang: He’d be Insta-famous and would probably have like 100k followers, getting a bunch of promotion offers (Men’s Fashion Nova). Sally and the rest of the Hostel girls would help Eli dress up for his “photoshoots” even though it’s just them taking pics of Eli in different places. One of his main hobbies would be looking at popular hair trends on Instagram, to try them out at his work.
Joon Goo Kim: He would secretly be an anime fan. If he started watching anime, he’d definitely choose Demon Slayer first then become a fan. He’ll even buy and collect weapons from anime that he’d watch including those from Naruto, Bleach, and Jujutsu Kaisen. (Update: He’d definitely be a Gojo fan. They’re similar in a way.)
Jong Gun Park: You’d probably catch him in the UFC gym, training and working out. But then will end up causing a blood bath in the gym when he goes on a crazy fighting spree, just by punching people who he thinks are strong. You might see this man in a video on Worldstar or on a random Tik Tok video by an ordinary civilian.

"Hey Han," he greeted his friend, taking a sip of the drink he'd just ordered. Honestly, Jake couldn't really remember what it was, but it tasted decent enough. "I've been meaning to tell you that I took your advice and started listening to more Korean music, there are some great rappers!" He figured it was easier talk about something as simple as music, considering where they were, the topic of death something he'd ignore for the sake of trying to have a good time. "What was that group you told me about?"

KSI explains why he hates Jake Paul: ‘I just think he’s a d***head’
KSI explains why he hates Jake Paul: ‘I just think he’s a d***head’
KSI may be partners with his brother, but don’t expect him to be friends with Jake Paul anytime soon. Primarily a YouTuber and rapper, KSI has spent much of the past few years building up the emerging influencer boxing scene that he helped create. In that time, he has repeatedly butted heads with Jake Paul, generally on the topic of who would win in a fight. But, as KSI explained to Ariel Helwani…

Praja – Gallipoli (LE): 18/7 Vida Loca; 19/7 Villabanks, Boro Boro, Drefgold & Rudeejay (aftershow); 20/7 Meduza; 21/7 Topic, Goodboys (PopFest); 22/7 Geoliger, Beba, Big Mama; 23/7 Elettra Lamborghini, Ludovica Pagani; 24/7 Dj Matrix (Zarro Night)
Dunque partiamo dall'evento in calendario lunedì 18 luglio 2022.
In console c'è Dj Matrix.
//

toffee!
no dearest, dont worry, ive been super busy with exams and auditions so i couldnt reply to this, super sorry ;n; but im here now so here we go!
mmm same, tasteful smut is preferable, tho rare. oh no! pls dont feel pressured to follow me on anything, i post very sporadically on that acc so you probably wont see much yet haha
hehe sometimes it just be like that. mmm real life isnt happy, so it makes sense that angst is more realistic, plus people are shitty /hj so its easier to have smth to base the characters and action off. but if angst is what you feel comfortable with, im glad you found it and you can write it so well!
yes i totally agree! they just suck you in, there is no escape. mmm indeed. i guess i just (and im sure you feel the same way) wish that they would be able to stick to what they are good at, and what they enjoy, rather than what will make them the most money and recognition
hehe i dont mind! im here if you wanna rant abt the amazingness that is he, i know the feeling of almost bursting from having to talk abt smth and not being able to :) yesss hes just so comfortable and familar even tho obviously we dont and can never truly know him. hes just like a good good friend. (albeit one whos abs we rave abt). :( ohh im sorry you were in a bad place, but its good that you were able to find something to help, im sure channie would be very happy to know he helped someone :) hehe i find myself listening for him in all their tracks, its a bit like felix in that its quite distinctive and very satisfying haha. YES seonghwa is just *wordless mouthing of amazement* mmm, its going to be super hard for them to top that, fever and drunk dazed were *chefs kiss* but hopefully theyll be better soon, ive been so worried abt all of them, with the whole covid thingo, especially nikki, hes only 15 and hes rlly sick away from his parents and his home :(( poor thing. man sunoo's immune system of absolute titanium, hopefully the rest of the boys are feeling better :(
yes i KNOW right. :((( huh i guess its strange cos i cant wait to get out of high school and ur wishing you could go back :') ahh that must be strange
oooh cool! ahuh yes, im sensing a type lol. ooh fellow jake, hyuka and lisa bias! for me, nikki and jennie are bias wreckers and im not super into txt but yES i agree, he always looks impeccable. i see what you mean with jake! hes got this kinda awkward charm from what little ive seen of him. mmm well... as a chan, seonghwa and namjoon bias, i can sympathise with having a definite postion type
no darling! they wouldnt be wasted at ALL. yes, you must tell me if you are ever going to leave here :((
but on brighter topics, i finished all my midterms and had my first therapy session this week so thats good! how are you feeling today? anything else you want to discuss? hope you're doing well :)
<3 w.a. 🐺
yoooo i was starting to worry about where you were but i remembered that you talked about exams. it's alright! take your time. also auditions o.O good luck with that!!
oh don't half joke people are shitty. they really are. funny how we talk about how we're talking about how angst is my element but i just finished writing a fluffy chan fic.
yeah :( i also hope that the money making thing wouldn't be their top priority but it's still a business industry so i get why the marketing is done that way.
i rambled to an irl about chan today so idt my head would explode from keeping chan chitchat in. chan is as safe space as an idol can get for me. i want to thank him for quite literally saving me in 2020 someday. it's the first thing i'll mention if i get to have a fancall with him.
i'm currently waiting for ateez comeback! i'm hoping deja vu won't disappoint bc the song isn't bad at all o.O it takes me back to my 2nd gen roots even. abt enhypen i heard 2 are back and posting? idt they got the worst of the symptoms + they're young and i'm sure their immune systems aren't too weak.
LMAO. it's because high school was a lot easier than uni so if i were to choose from the two evils, i'd choose the lesser one.
abt my biases? really? o.O bc i've always been told that i don't have a clear bias HAJHA. i'm glad we have a few similar biases <33 the definite position type HAJH you and my friends have the same thing going on. she's all for rappers tho.
i'll tell you if i ever choose to leave. i doubt it would be any time soon xd
congratulations on finishing all your midterms and i'm glad you got to go to your therapy session. how was it? i hope you're doing well. go and take care of yourself! reward yourself a little for finishing the exams :>
my feet and legs are sore as fuck. i've been dancing the whole day and i haven't been exercising a lot so a day full of just moving around kinda shocked me. i'll be sleeping in a few though so i hope i feel better in the morning.

john egbert deserves more than to be boiled down to ‘goofy kid’. he very obviously doesnt know how to properly express his emotions.
rose lalonde deserves more than to be boiled down to ‘smart girl’. she spent a long time trying to understand her guardian and why she was so distant.
dave strider deserves more than to be boiled down to ‘cool rapper dude’. he was canonically abused. AND while im on the topic, DAVE STRIDER WAS NOT PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY ABUSED AND NEGLECTED JUST TO BE SHIPPED WITH HIS ABUSER WHO, CAN I SAY, ALSO HAPPENS TO BE HIS BIOLOGICAL FATHER.
jade harley deserves more than to be boiled down to ‘clingy pining girl’. she lived on an island BY HERSELF for YEARS and had absolutely no form of face to face interaction aside from a DOG since she was very young.
roxy lalonde deserves more than to be boiled down to ‘funny alcoholic’. she got over her addiction ON HER OWN, which by the way makes it even more fucked up when jane tells her she ‘liked her better when she was drunk’.
dirk strider deserves more than to be boiled down to ‘evil dude with a god complex’. he cant stand not being in control, or the knowlege that he doesnt matter to the narrative anymore.
jake english deserves more than to be boiled down to ‘funny english chap’. he ALSO has been on an island alone for most of his life with no company besides huge scary monsters. a LOT of fucked up shit happened to him in both of the epilogues by both jane and dirk and i think that should probably be recognised a little more.
jane crocker- um. i dont actually know what to say about jane? i really dont like her as a character so i guess thats fueling it but what i do want to say is SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT HER PESTERQUEST SPRITES holy shit there were so many people being plain shitty when they came out. like god people who dont look like you exist can you accept that yet? i think her pesterquest sprites look great.

Sorry ahead of time for the request being too long but could you do a blurb where the reader (who is not famous) is dating tom secretly but the rumors of him and Zendaya are too much so they break up, and in one interview when the interviewer asks about Tomdaya Tom just blows up and basically exposed he was dating the reader. And could it end it in fluff because I could really use some happy endings right now.
A/N: sis, at the rate of how much of angst I’ve managed to put out, I don’t think this is normal at all, haha. definitely needed to have some balance y’know? Here ya go, I truly hope you like it :) thanks for your request!
after all these angtsy fics, I needed some fluff in my life.
1.5k of angst turned fluff.. my heart😩
___________________________
You’ve been dating Tom for about 10 months, no one knew except your families and really close friends(really like your 2 best friends and his best friends Haz and Tuwaine as well as Z and Jacob. You wanted to keep it as private as much as possible. Afraid of the possible backlash from the “fans” and media.
With promotion of Far From Home, fans and people alike were really interested to see PeterMJ love story. And the promos didn’t help in the slightest. Everyone and their mothers wanted to see the ever so awkward but yet so beautifully portrayed high school relationship. Doing press tours were an added stress. All the interviewers were interested about PeterMJ and how filming went, with the occasional how’s working with Jake Gyllenhaal questions. Every interview had been cut out and edited so that it focused solely on Tom and Zendaya. Completely disregarding Jacob and Jake. Causing a rise in Tomdaya fans and countless pages on Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr about their supposed relationship.  Even leading to a rapper to create a song about their relationship.  An attempt to “shoot his shot” with the ever so beautiful Zendaya. If you were being completely honest, it kind of bothered you a bit, but there was literally nothing you could do about it. If you and you alone came out about the relationship, who was going to believe you? They would probably think you were just a huge fan of his who had some grandiose ideations of dating the Hollywood star.
Tom knew that it had bothered you, hell, it bothered him to no end too. It was moments like those that made him really wish that you both were public. But out of respect for you, and most importantly for your safety, he opted to remain mum. He didn’t want you to receive any hate, knowing how people can be online. Saying mean things behind a phone or computer screen. Not that he’d pay any mind to those words anyway. But you, you weren’t accustomed to this. He did this to protect you. He knew you knew how he feels about you and vice versa and that was all that mattered.
It all became too much for you. Too unbearable to handle. You weren’t as happy as you once were. All of the clips and edits of every press interview they’ve ever had, the constant “updates” on Tomdaya and how almost every interview shoved the idea of bringing PeterMJ to real life. Wishing that Tomdaya would be an actual thing. It all became unbearable. There was only so much your heart could handle. His constant words of reassurance, Z saying that she would never do such a thing, calling Tom her annoying brother as well as reassurances from Jacob and Jake seemed to fall on deaf ears. Nothing they were saying was making you feel better. It got to the point of being a bit much, becoming insufferable, really. So you did what anyone in your situation would do, you decided to break things off with him.
That was mentally, physically and emotionally agonizing. You both cried so hard, you both know  that this secret relationship was greatly affecting you both. It was like both of your worst fears were becoming reality-an absolute nightmare, really.
It’s been about 2 weeks since that fateful day. And those 15 days have been an absolute hell. With the release of the movie underway, there were even more stans. Talking about every detail of their supposed relationship, going back as far as Homecoming. Everywhere you went, wherever you looked that was all you saw; PeterMJ, Tomdaya. If you hadn’t known any better, you started to believe it too.
Although you’ve broken up, you still watched their interviews. This was one of their last interviews for the press tour. And if you were being brutally honest, you could tell this break up was greatly affecting him. You didn’t have to have Haz, Z, Jacob and Jake text you to know how the young lad was doing. Because truthfully, you were feeling the exact same way.
You took in his gaunt appearance, he noticed his change in attitude; no longer being his fun, bubbly and free spirited self. They all kept you up to date with him and how he was doing as well as checking in on you.
You sat quietly as the interview began. After the quick hello’s, how are you’s, and thank you for coming, they began the interview.
After asking about how the cast felt about working with Jake and out of all the places they’ve filmed and seeing where their favorites spots were came the inevitable topic. As soon as she had started, you noticed that they all had rolled their eyes. If they had rolled them any harder, you could’ve sworn they’d stay like that.
“So Tom, Zendaya, as you both are aware, there are many people, myself included that want to know, is PeterMJ from Far From Home occuring in real life as well?  Your relationship has gained quite the following. You know, I have to say, that your fans are right, you’d both make a lovely couple! I can hear the wedding bells ringing.” she spoke, ending her question err, rather statement with a chuckle.
He was furious.
“What the fuck? Are you serious right now? I just don’t get it. We’ve answered this particular question numerous times, and I don’t know how you think that answer will change otherwise but this is the absolute last time I am going to say this. We are not, have not, will not ever be in a relationship so you should let that dream die. We are friends, best friends and it is beyond disrespectful for you all to keep making these statements. If we were indeed in a relationship, why the hell would we say otherwise that we aren’t? Wouldn’t you think we’d share that with you guys? We didn’t share anything because there is nothing! We are friends and nothing more. All of your assumptions and stupid theories of us being together has pushed me to lose the love of my life. I was in a happy relationship with the most amazing girl that ever graced this earth. But due to all of this, it caused her to break up with me. Her name was Y/N, and we dated for 10 months, by far the best 10 months of my life. We’ve kept it quiet because I know how ruthless you people can be. I chose to keep it quiet for her sake. But that was stupid on my part. I shouldn’t have been afraid to tell you guys all about her, we were going to receive hate regardless; everyone voicing their opinions. I knew it bothered her but I thought by keeping it quiet, I was keeping her safe. And that isn’t the case. Y/N, darling, wherever you are, I hope you hear this, I-I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. As you can see, I’m an absolute mess without you darling. I need you and I miss you dearly” he cried, not caring about how he looked at that moment.
He took off his microphone and placed it on his seat as he walked passed the interviewer and out of the room. The three stunned at what occurred.
He ran into his dressing room and pulled out his phone. Instinctively, his thumb landed on your number. Without second guessing, he touched the screen. He was now calling you.
After a few rings, you answered.
“Hello, Y/N, darling. It-it’s me, Tom. I-I just needed to hear your voice. I’m so sorry about everything. I-”
“Hi Tom. I just watched the interview, uh, thank you for that. You really didn’t have to say all those things y’know”
“But I did.  I said all that because it’s true. I had to set her in place. I’m so sick and tired of all these people assuming I’m dating my best friend and costar. Like that shit got annoying real quick. But you know, I had to be polite and whatever. But not anymore. Listen, I know this was not how we had planned things to go, but the world knows of who you are now. And I’m glad that that’s finally out. It means that I get to hang out with you and we can do whatever we want and not give a damn about what others think. I know you know that my feelings for you are real and true and I know you feel the same. I love you and I miss you immensely. So uh, so uh, can we please be boyfriend and girlfriend again?” he asked nervously.
A laugh managed to escape your mouth, laughing at his awkwardness after being so bold.
“Of course, we can. I wouldn’t want nothing less than that. I missed you too. Hurry back so I can hug you and love you even more, as if that is even possible.”
He let out a chuckle before replying “I’ll be on the next available flight home. So I’ll see you real soon. I love you darling, so very much”
“I love you too, Tom. Always”

KINKMAS DAY 9: PUBLIC SEX WITH (rapper!)JAKE GYLLENHAAL.
request:  Heyyy!!! So... how about day 9 with Raper Jake?! I feel like that would be soo hot!! 🔥😩🤤
warnings: mentions of food and alcohol, curse words, public sex, angry sex, bathroom sex, rough fucking, spitting kink.
word count: 1350
@jakes-little-slut thank you for this request and for suggesting the setting!!!!! rapper!jake is mentioned, but it’s very vague! so everyone can read without paying too much attention to the character (he does call her his bitch, but that’s normal for the character, i promise!) <3
“Thank you for being here with me, Jake.” You reached out to connect your wine glasses together. Jake looked tired, but he looked content.
He had been working so hard lately, there was a situation with copyrights or something like that. For the past couple of weeks, he was pulled from one side to the other, running to a meeting after being done with one and he had been neglecting you. He was too focused on his work to realize it.
So you tried to help him open his eyes. You suggested you both went on a date at your favourite restaurant, just to change his mind, and yours.
He accepted, it took quite some convincing and pushing around things in his schedule. You still could not believe he struggled so hard to free himself on a Tuesday night at 9 pm, like it was office hours in the traffic.
You respected him and his work, but sometimes you just wished you had more of a normal existence. “Do you remember what we ordered on our last date?” You questioned, scanning through the menu.
“Mmm...” Jake shrugged it off. He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He ignored it. “I believe it was the vodka pasta or some shit. Order it, we could share.”
You nodded at his suggestion and waited for a waiter to come by, telling him all of the order and asking for a refill of water.
Another vibration against his thigh. Jake pulled out his phone, just to check who it was from. It was his producer.
“I thought we agreed to leave our phones in the car.” You sighed. It would not be that big of a deal if there was no build up, but it seemed to be the last straw. “All I want is to have a good time with my man, no to wonder if you’re fucking producer is gonna kidnap you for the next three days again.” You rumbed your temples, trying to keep your voice low. “I’m serious, Jake. I just want one good evening with you. If you pick up the phone, I’m...” You hated to threaten him, but it felt like the only way to show him just how much you missed him and valued this precious date.
“Babe...”
You did not even let him finish his sentence, you threw the napkin down on the table and kicked the chair away from you. You headed straight to the bathroom, and hid in one of the private stalls.
*~*~*
You sighed loudly, pacing around the luxurious washroom. You felt bad for putting on a show, for putting the spotlight on the two of you while all you cared about was to be normal people having a normal time sharing food and smiling and catching up. Your hand went to grab the door knob, when the door was actually smalled open.
You were ready to scream for help, but instead you gasped. Jake was standing in front of you, looking down at you like you were two feet tall. “You wanna fucking embarass me in front of everyone, huh? Thought I broke you, thought I fucked the whiny little needy bitch out of you.”
“Jake, let’s take that home, okay?” You tried to calm him, pressing your hands on his chest in protest. You heard the lock of the door click. It just hit you that you forgot to do that when you stormed in.
His other hand grabbed both of your wrists so firmly his knuckles were white. “Now you wanna play it nice? How cute.” He chuckled low in his throat, loving just how much your eyes widened. “Is that what you wanted all along? You wanted me to put you back in your place? I’ve been working my ass off to clear everything for the summer, so we can have a nice little trip together, but that’s not enough for you, is it? Always want my attention...” He went to cup your pussy from other your dress. His fingers dipped into your wetness. “And my cock.”
You swallowed thickly. You had decided not to wear panties so that he...
“Gonna fuck you so hard you will be dripping on the floor. That’s all you want? Don’t care about the food or the exquisite wine. All you want is to get fucked in a bathroom like the dirty slut you are.” His hand moved up your body and forced your mouth open, so you could taste your own juices on his fingers. “Say it, say that’s what you want.”
“Mmfh’ yes! I want you to fuck me, please.”
He smiled at your answer. His smile was so... Soft. It turned you on even more. “Open.”
You opened your mouth, and he spit on your tongue. You swallowed instantly.
“Somebody’s desperate to be a good girl.” He turned you around and pressed you on the marble counter. He unbuckled in tuxedo pants at the speed of lightning and leaned down, his feet parting your legs open. He spat again, this time on your pussy.
“I need you.” You whispered, looking at him from the mirror.
He did make you wait any longer. He had one hand on your shoulder, the other one stroking his shaft a few times and then guiding it to your wet hole. He bottomed out in the first thrust, his balls slapping against your neglected clit. “You want it?”
You nodded eagerly, leaning on the counter so you could hold yourself up.
That was all he needed to begin thrusting into you. It was fast, deep, and rough. It was merciless. He wanted it it to hurt, and it did hurt so fucking good. Neither of you had had this kind of pleasure for a long time, everything felt more intense; even for him.
“Fuck!” You cried out, he slammed his now free hand against your mouth to shut you up.
“So fucking dirty. Want everybody to hear you, huh? Wanna put on a show for them?” Jake kept fucking you, getting impossibly faster. “You missed that, Princess, didn’t you?”
You nodded again, unable to speak or say anything coherent. You missed all of it, all of him, but especially the way he looked at you. His eyes were glued to your reflection, there was so much love in his dark blue irises. The duality of him fucking you like a rag doll and looking at you like you were a national treasure made you clench around him.
“Cum for me. Cum all over my fuckin’ cock.” He barked. He didn’t care just how loud he was, he could not countrol himself.
And you did, you released yourself around him. Your legs were shaking, your eyes were rolling inwards and your lipstick was ruined on your cheek and chin.
“Good girl.” He whispered at your ear and let you calm down. You stayed inside of you for a few moments, making sure you gained enough strength to clench his cum inside of you. “Aww, look at you. You look so pathetic.” He laughed and tried to fix your makeup by wiping the remaining lipstick with his thumb, which he had wet under the faucet. “And so fucking gorgeous too.”
*~*~*
You both sat back at the table, not without a myriad of weird looks. You both looked terrible. Jake had trouble adjusting his pants to his softening  dick and you looked... Like something else.
Jake laughed when the waiter came back with all of the plates, setting them down in front of the two of you. He could not believe he did all of this before the food was ready. He grabbed his fork and twirled spaghetti around his fork, presenting it to your lips so you had the first bite. He wiped a drop of sauce off your chin.
“So... What did you have in mind for the summer?
“Nothing much...” Jake shook his head lightly, swallowing a bite of food. “Just a trip to Santorini and renting a private yacht so I could fuck you on the deck at sunset.”

Random Lookism Thoughts that I Get During Class (part 2):
(I REALLY need to pay attention in class more, I stg. My mind goes crazy when it comes to Lookism-related things, but not actual study topics. 🥲 But here you guys go, I hope you’ll enjoy!)
Mary Kim: She’s definitely a top tier Megan Thee Stallion stan (real hot girl shit 🔥). A fan of all of the bad bitch rappers such as Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Saweetie, BIA, Doja Cat, etc. She would listen to their songs while working out with Vin Jin, and Vin Jin doesn’t even mind at all if she blasts it. (He even admitted to Mary that whoever listens to Megan Thee Stallion are real bad bitches, including himself.)
Jace Park: On days when the Burn Knuckles crew decides to just chill in their meet up place at school, Jace would just play the Jeopardy app on his phone whenever he’s bored. He thinks it’s a fun way to kill time while learning about something new at the same time. (That’s where he gets some of his facts whenever the Burn Knuckles crew asks him to tell them something interesting, especially Vasco. He thinks he’s a mad genius.) Also, whenever Jace gets tired of playing Jeopardy, he’d text Mary Kim if she’d be down to play games on the Game Pigeon.
Yenna Jang: Two words. Coco Melon. Eli Jang would pull up Coco Melon from his phone and would let Yenna watch it while he feeds her food or does their laundry. Sometimes, Eli Jang would let her watch Sailor Moon on his phone or Cardcaptor Sakura and he’d watch it with her when he has free time to himself. (That explains the wand toy thing that Yenna had before Eli ruined it in a fight. R.I.P. Yenna’s toy.) Sometimes, Zack Lee would come by with Mira Kim to visit Yenna since Eli had given him permission to see her. In a way, Zack became a second father-figure AND an uncle to Yenna. (Zack is just waiting for Eli to grant him the title of being Yenna’s godfather in the future.)
Jerry Kwon: I just imagine Jerry making a bunch of origami paper cranes and just gifting them to every member in Big Deal for being loyal to Jake Kim. And he’d even try to make a big paper crane out of parchment paper for Jake, and when Jake receives it, he’ll thank Jerry for the cool gift but he doesn’t know where to put it back in his own house.
Lua Im: She’d definitely be Tik Tok famous for sure. With her great fashion sense, wearing trendy Street Fashion brands such as Stüssy, she would get lots of likes and gain lots of followers on Tik Tok doing fashion hauls and OOTD videos. She would also feature Sinu Han, Jake Kim, Jerry Kwon, and some of the Big Deal members into her Tik Tok videos and would try and make them do a Tik Tok challenge with her. But the one who’s always down to collab with her would be Yeonhui, who’d always visit the Big Deal street with Sinu whenever they drop by. And whenever she sees Johan Seong, she’ll try and get him to do a Tik Tok challenge with her and convince him to make a Tik Tok account. (He secretly did, and they’ve been exchanging memes on Tik Tok ever since. Too bad Zack doesn’t know about this.)
Sinu Han: Sinu would be a Panic! At the Disco fan. (Idk man, it just makes sense to me.) He would totally be into the Alternative rock songs of P!ATD because he’d think they’re badass and his favorite song would be House of Memories, as it always reminds him of his irreplaceable memories that he had with Big Deal. (His 2nd favorite would be Death of a Bachelor, and he’d sing it all sultry-like to Yeonhui while they dance together.)
Ryuhei Kuroda: Ryuhei probably used to watch hentai as a hobby to try to get his 🐉 up or whenever he gets bored but it wouldn’t get the job done so he quit. He would rather wait for Mitsuki to do the job one day, than to watch XXX videos that won’t even satisfy him.
Mitsuki: After Sinu Han left the Workers, she would lock herself in her room everyday and listen to soft indie pop artists and alternative artists. For instance, her most-played artists would probably be NIKI, Joji, Mitski (not intentionally…), The Marías, Marina and the Diamonds, Lana Del Rey, The Neighbourhood, Halsey, etc.
Kenta Megami: Everyday, he doesn’t go through a day without having at least one glass of milk. Not just to strengthen up his body, but to possibly grow in height. He wanted to grow at least a bit more before he gets to fight he-who-shall-not-be-named. (He definitely needs some milk after what ⚪️👹 did to him, ong.)
Eugene: On his free time, he’d probably go to a Country Club and would be seen hanging out with Yoosung and Mandeok playing golf or tennis. Or, you could catch him shopping at a Polo Ralph Lauren store with them accompanying him and with extra body guards who are a part of Workers. (And Samuel Seo used to accompany him on his little errands sometimes, but we all know that won’t happen again anytime soon… 🌊)
Warren Chae: Warren would be the type to make fitness videos on YouTube, always updating on his progress to being healthy. He would also try and get Sally to join him in his live workouts on YouTube, by just having her sit on his back while he does push-ups. (He even asked Sr. Manager Kim one day to check out his YouTube channel. Manager Kim wanted to subscribe to Warren’s channel, so he had to ask his daughter Minji to teach him how YouTube works. Eventually, Manager Kim became his number one subscriber.)
Sally Park: We all have a feeling that she’d be converted from typical shoujo romance fan, to Yaoi/BL fan when she witnessed Eli Jang and Jake Kim accidentally kissed right in front of her. She probably keeps a stack of some BL manga underneath her bed somewhere or reads BL webtoons on her phone. (While babysitting Yenna one day, Yenna somehow crawled underneath her bed and when Sally finally found her, she panicked when Yenna was holding one of her special BL manga so she had to hide them somewhere else.)
DG/James Lee: On his own free time, James would want to relax, especially anywhere where Chairman Choi isn’t around. He would probably fly out of the country and take a short vacation out in Maldives, where he can just swim and lay around eating tropical fruits. (Until he has to come back the next day to his hectic k-pop idol life. I told you it was short lol) Update: I won’t be surprised if he’s a polyglot too (a person who can speak many languages). He isn’t called a “genius” for nothing. I feel like he’d be able to understand and speak in languages such as Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Tagalog (Including Bisaya and Illocano), Bahasa Indonesia (Including Javanese), Malay, English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, etc. Man’s a legend.
Crystal Choi: As a hobby, she’d definitely go out shopping for new clothes from clothing stores such as Zara, Tiffany&Co, Banana Republic New York, etc. However, she doesn’t mind shopping for expensive brands either. Also, she would probably be a tea enthusiast, as she goes to Teavana at the mall and tries out samples of different teas to bring home. Sometimes whenever she meets up with DG, Gun, Goo, and Kouji, they’d sit around with each other and silently drink on the tea that she’d bring to her office. On days when she’s discussing plans with her father’s business partners for him, once in a while, she would wonder how Daniel Park (og Daniel) is doing and how much he would’ve grown from the last time they met with each other.
Chairman Choi: He seems like the type of businessman who would be good at playing rich-people games, such as chess. As Crystal’s father, he would invite her to play chess with him from time to time and would bring her with him sometimes to his business trips as a way to bond with her. One time, they ended up going to Hawaii together because he had to meet with one of his American business partners for a meeting. Afterwards, he’d find Crystal just chilling on a sunlounger chair out in the beach and he would join her just laying there sipping on their little mimosas while talking about what’s been going on with HNH Group, the 10 Geniuses (Crystal ain’t a snitch), and updates on Daniel Park.

As a black woman I don’t think you white washed Roxy. In the comic all the kids are heavily white coded and it says in the comic when John is pestering Dave that Dirk is white too. So .... yeah
I think trying to make raceless characters are still going to be a little race coded since I think its hard to do that without coding them one way or another. ‘Blank slates’ tend to end up as white.  Are you talking about when John said something about Bro being a white rapper?
I could also point out when the kids go into Trickster Mode. They actually get a skin color. Which made me sad for Jake cause I view him being dark skinned.
However, Im not going to let that stop me viewing Jake as dark skinned. Just like how it shouldnt stop people from viewing Roxy or Dirk as dark skinned. I just happen to see them as white.
The fandom is pretty toxic when it comes to race. If anyone does anything against what their headcanon is, they feel the need to lash out at them. Which is really childish and not helping their case. Its going to make people not like the idea of black!Roxy and start resenting her. Which is a shame cause while I dont view her as black, Ive seen a lot of cute art of her with dark skin. People will not be so open minded to accepting that headcanon because someone attacked them and tried pushing their headcanon onto them.
Also, I appreciate this ask anon, so thank you for sending it. I apologize if my reply is a little scattered or not in much detail since I legit just woke up and typing this while half awake. I feel like I made no sense orz
If anyone has any more asks on this topic, feel free to send them. I’ll get to them when Im more awake. Lets just try to be respectful to one another.

“Dope A-F” - 8/29 - 9/16 - “Headlining in Roanoke/Fairfax, and a 9/11 show ”
Well I am officially tired of doing this blog. I am fatigued. Keeping up with my new schedule is almost impossible. Three blog posts a week coupled with new videos, new material, shows, and my day job is proving to be too much. So I am going to do this blog until I am not going to do it. It has been almost a year since I started keeping track and I think I have grown so much as a comedian since then, but it is just becoming super hard.
So without further ado let’s hop right into it and check out what’s been going on the last few weeks with #cutecomedy. Come on LAYDEES!
8/29
I headed up to Roanoke to close out a show at Blue 5. Chaz Blevins was putting on the show and he had a pretty solid lineup. Johnny Camacho was hosting, and the openers were Chaz, this dude Zack White, and Melissa Douty. So I knew I was going to have to bring my A game.
I got up there a little early to set up my camera. The room is amazing. It is downstairs at the restaurant. It is like a cool tucked away speakeasy.  After setting up my camera I went upstairs to grab a bite to eat. I had some egg rolls stuffed with bar b q and Mac and cheese. It was delicious.
When I went back downstairs people had really started to fill in the show. It was going to be a super fun night. We started about 15 minutes late to give people a chance to get seated and get drinks. Then Johnny got on with it.
Johnny had a solid set warming up the crowd. He got some pretty big laughs, and had the audience as ease before he brought up Chaz. Chaz then did well. The crowd was super supportive, and he basically started his set shitting on Johnny which was funny. Then I told Johnny I was waiting for the callback shitting on him. Then 5 minutes later Chaz did it and Johnny and I busted up laughing. He went on to have a solid set.
Then Zack White went up. I had never seen this dude before and he was definitely funny. He was definitely alt and weird, but it really worked with this crowd. He threw a baseball into the audience and then faked an injury and laid on the ground.
Then Melissa Douty went up and she absolutely destroyed. I mean tore the roof off of the place. Everybody loved her. She did about 20 and it laugh after laugh. She was going to be incredibly hard to follow. She is from the area, and definitely was able to relate to the audience and get them on board. So after she slaughters it is my turn.
I go up and realize I know have to reset the room. So I use the first 5 minutes of my set to kind of ease people into what they are about to see. I do some crowd work, and try to get them on my wave length. This starts to go well and I am building up momentum.
I talk to a few audience members and get some pretty big reactions. I then weave in some material and it is killing even harder. I think talk to a few more audience members including a girl I found out later was Chaz’ daughter. I was really having a lot of fun. I was only supposed to do 30 but I went well over that. I was able to do a bunch of new at the end and get a good response and actually work some stuff out which felt nice. I’d totally give this set an A-. I felt good being able to follow Melissa after how hard she killed.
After the show I talked to a few people and then went over to a bar to hang with Johnny, and a few others. After hanging I hopped into my car and headed home.
8/30
The next night we had The After Show. Which is our political comedy roundtable show. This time Chris wanted to focus this one on sexuality. So I booked Jason Kusterer (White Cis/Het comic), Katherine Malone (black trans female comic) , Samantha Padgett (white female trans comic), and Sammy Major (black/gay/Non-binary) to be on the show.
I got to the show early and tried to set everything up. I put the furniture on the stage with Kat. I then ordered a grilled cheese, and set up my camera. I had a really fun time catching up with Kat. I hadn’t seen her in a super long time.
Then Samantha showed up. We all went to the green room and got situated. We tried not to talk about the topics for the show too much, but we did come up with some interesting things to cover in the show.
Then everyone else showed up. It was a good hang going on. We didn’t have a huge crowd. Honestly it was one of our lighter attended shows. I’d say there was about 25 to 30 people there. I also took a few polaroid “Eddie Pooks” pictures that turned out great.
After about another 20 minute wait we started the show. I went out there and brought everyone else out. Then we went right into it.
I am always torn because of this show. I think it is important and interesting, but it isn’t always the funniest show. The audience is tight because these are hot button issues, but when you do get a laugh it feels so damn amazing. I had some pretty good lines, and really it was kind of an amazing show. I think we learned a lot, and laughed quite a bit, but I don’t always feel good during or after this show. This is one of those shows where I need people to tell me it was good. I’d give this one a C. Good jokes, great subject matter, but not a ton of laughs.
After the show I hung out with some friends and caught up. Got a few drinks and then went to Waffle House. Where I met a drunk rapper who was surprised to find out I was a comedian. He kept trying to brag and put me down. He was like if you're a comedian why aren’t you at The FunnyBone. It felt so good to be like I am there in two weeks. He was wasted. After this I headed home and got a good night’s sleep.
9/1
I headed up to Fairfax with Paige the next day. I had asked Taylor O’Sullivan to come do a guest spot, but he didn’t respond in time. Paige and I listened to a horrific true crime podcast, and just talked about comedy. I had also asked my buddy Dom Grayer to drop by and do a spot on the show, and I extended a guest spot to a Pittsburgh Comic named Joe Esch.
John Coulter had booked me to headline his room at Blue Iguana. I had asked for the night even though we were going to have a poor attendance due to the holiday.
We get there and we get a nice hang going. There is only like 8 or 9 people there, but honestly I am just excited to do around 30 minutes. I love longer sets. I set the lineup after I find out Joe and Dom can’t stay after their sets. So I set it up as a piggyback show with Joe, Dom, Paige, and then I'd close out. I also tell them to work a little cleaner up top. The only reason I said this was at the behest of Coulter. He said it is a little older crowd, and they're conservative (not in their politics, but just keep it cleaner).
Joe said he could do it, and then he went up and didn’t work clean. It was some pretty sexual material, and honestly it didn’t seem like he wanted to be doing the show. This might just be his energy, but legit it was like why did I give this dude a spot? I get it. It’s not a huge crowd, but I offered you time because you were looking for time. He did fine, but John made me light him early just due to the subject matter. He then brought up Dom Grayer to the wrong name, and I legit was like well shit.
Dom went up and cracked them though. He had some solid pops, and he had a good set. He was followed by Paige who did well as well. Nobody did terribly. It was just a light show.
Then it was my turn. I went up and did a lot of crowd work up top. I’d say 10 minutes or so before going into my material. It was all working really well. I was able to connect with these people and understand that even though there was only a few of them they wanted to laugh. I got everyone involved and a few more people walked in.
All of my stuff was working. The jokes, and the crowd work was dope. I tried a few new things, and then got off stage. After this Coulter asked me to do an encore because 6 other people had just walked in at the end of my set. So the audience cheered and I went up and did 25 more minutes of crowd work, and new jokes. This was awesome I got some huge pops, and I got them sit in the front row. it was truly a special night. I’d give this set an A-.
After this Paige and I headed back to RVA. I hit up Taylor again and he met us at Denny’s for a late night meal. Then we all headed our separate ways.
9/4
After a few days off there was a new mic in town. I went over to Isley Brewing to do their mic after work. I got a beer and did some writing before the mic. It was a fun night because I got to see and hang with a bunch of my friends. Buhe was hosting, and we had Paige, Taylor, Adam Chiodini, David Luzader, Samantha Padgett, Jake Snyder, Carlton K, and a bunch I know I am forgetting.
Buhse shows up and gets the list ready. He tells me I am up first. There is an ok crowd, but the setup is weird. It is really bright in there because it starts at 7 and it definitely seemed like these people were surprised comedy was happening.
After his set he brought me up and I think I did as well as I could have. I had a lot of new stuff, and it all did pretty well. I tried one thing for the very first time and I am so happy that it worked. I wasn’t killing and I stumbled in a few spots. There was a giant Jenga game on stage so after every joke that bombed I’d take a brick out and drop it on the floor. This got a couple laughs, but I mostly did it for me. I give this set a C.
I watched a few more sets and then Paige and I headed over to Home Sweet Home. I got some writing done, and ordered a delicious dinner. I got to see some other friends like Patrick Nowaczyk, Taylor Baldwin, and Jason Kusterer. Jason had me going up like 5th which I was excited about.
There actually was a tiny little crowd there. The best part was they were into the show. They were having a fun time. After a few comics did ok it was my turn. Kusterer gave me a funny intro and I just tried a bunch of new stuff. I did some of the earlier stuff, but changed the inflection and tried adding some tags. it worked ok. I enjoyed my set. I’d give it a C+.
I went downstairs and talked to my friends a little bit more, including Beswick. It was a dope night. I then packed up, said goodbye, and headed home.
9/6
On Friday I had a spot on Wabi Sabi. I hit up a few people to ride with my but only Taylor could go. We headed up and had a good time. He was actually able to grab a guest spot.
The lineup was going to be Klingman, Liz Carr, Taylor, Torrey, me, Luray and then Wingle. It was supposed to be a packed show. So we knew it was going to be fun.
The show starts, and they're a rowdy crowd. Klingman has a pretty good set. So does Liz. Taylor only did about 90 seconds he had freaked himself out so much, but he didn’t bomb. Then Torrey had a pretty hot one. By the time he got off stage the audience was wasted. They were loud, and wanted to interrupt the show.
I go up and legit don’t get a single joke out. I am in a battle with the audience for 15 minutes. I am battling drunks and hecklers. I am shitting all over them and being mean. It is killing. The audience loves it. Which is frustrating to me. This goes on and I get some huge laughs, but I am not having fun. I was glad I overcame the adversity, but hated that I had to. I'd give this set an A-.
Then Luray and Wingle went up. I didn’t watch their sets because I was so freaking upset about mine. I got to decompress and then I got ready for ‘Sex With Me Is Like”.
We all got back on stage after (except for Liz and Luray who didn’t want to). Jaye Toler got on stage, but hadn’t done a set earlier. it was a super fun game this time. I had some huge laughs and only one joke didn’t work. Every time they said something about me I had something about them. I got Taylor involved and I had the last joke. I made fun of Jaye and it destroyed.
After the show I drove Taylor back and then headed home to pass out.
9/7
The next night I was one of the headliners on Castleburg. I had been ‘banned” the previous month by Mike Engle because I had bailed on it the previous two to do paid gigs.  Which wasn’t a big deal at all, and made sense. I was so excited to be tasked with being a part of the two year anniversary show.
Mu Cuzzo and I were the headliners. I had invited a few coworkers and told myself I was only going to do new stuff. There was a pretty good sized list of comics.
I was stoked to see my coworkers, and super stoked to see some comic friends to hang with like Mike, Anthony, Adam Chiodini, Jack Parker, Ben Oliver, Heather Joyce, Danny Dunlea, Jake Snyder and plenty others I am sure I am forgetting. I set up my video camera and told people if they wanted their sets I could get them for them. I had a few people take me up on the offer.
I love the bartenders here. They are so nice, and so much fun to talk to. They look forward to and enjoy the show. Definitely a dope venue with killer staff, and good beer.
There was a pretty good crowd, and since I knew I wanted to have the freedom to do new stuff I asked to be the first headliner to go up. I knew that Mu would be doing his best stuff, and really bringing it so even if my new stuff failed at least he could pick up the slack and it wouldn’t be a shit show.
The crowd was pretty good. They were into it from the beginning of the show. Mike had a good set and so did the comics in the first round. The winner of that was Heather Joyce. Then it was my turn to go up,
I had a dope set. Almost all of my new stuff worked. I was able to work on wording, and got some solid laughs. I was super happy to do 12 of my 15 minute set as new. It feels like I am progressing and becoming a better comic. I didn’t murder, but I had some jokes get really good pops, and I felt like I broke the crowd open a bit. I'd give this set a B.
The rest of the show went well. Mu had a really good set. His material was clicking and he used his energy to his advantage. It was cool to see him pull that set together and put something tight together.
The rest of the show was fun. Anthony had a hot set, and Jake Snyder ripped a mic stand in half and just held half of it on stage. It was hilarious. All in all a super fun show.
Afterwards I hung out with some comics, and talked shop. I got to sit and hang with my coworkers a bit to which was really dope. I had such a wonderful night. It all ended with Jake, Danny Dunlea, and I going to Denny’s to have a super late meal. Afterwards I headed home to pass out.
9/8
The next day I went to Busch Gardens and had an absolutely wonderful time. Legit just a great experience. I haven’t been all year and can’t wait to go back in October. Afterwards I had time to go do some time at the competition at Hof Garden.
This show is hosted by Mu, Jameson, and Kate Carroll. Everyone does five minutes and they grade your set like American Idol at the end of the show they have the last month’s winner close it out, and then they go announce the winner from this month.
I was definitely the most experienced comic at this show. I should have just done a set and not put myself in for the contest, but one of the things you win is a spot on a live podcast that has a pretty good following and I could use that.
I was up 3rd or fourth and there was a nice intimate crowd there. I asked Ryan Mather to record my set and he obliged. The first few comics did ok. They got some good pops, but the crowd was ready to laugh. I told myself I was going to only do new material. I didn’t want to do my best polished shit because that doesn't accomplish anything, and this way even if I lose I can be stoked that I worked out material.
I went up and had a super fun set. I didn’t kill, but all of the jokes worked. I riffed some good stuff, and added on to some bits. This was an extremely fun, and productive sets. I wish all open mic sets felt like this.
After I got off stage I went and hung out in the back. I didn’t feel like watching a ton of sets. I got to hang with Brian Mann (who had a really good set), Ryan Mather, Melissa Harris, Ben Oliver, Bryan Williams, Taylor Baldwin, and a few others including a comic I hadn’t seen in a long time. He came to hang and not perform, and support his buddy who was closing it out.
I had a female comic ask why I didn’t give notes and I had to explain I don’t give them usually to female comedians. I don’t want to come across as “mansplaining” comedy, and I've had female comics ask for notes and then I watched them throw them in the trash. It is just easier for me, and better business to not really do that. Last thing I need is someone who doesn’t know me saying they saw me telling a woman how to do comedy.
After everyone had gone up they went to add up the scores. Brock then went up and he had a solid set. He did a new song thing, and people seemed to dig it a lot.
After this they brought, myself, Beth Tucker, and Brian Mann on the stage. They all said really nice things about us, and then announced the winner. It was me. I was super stoked. Afterwards I hung out with a bit, but headed out pretty quickly because I had work in the morning.
9/9
The next day I headed up to The Southern after work. I got some flyers from Jeyon for our show we have in October at Holly’s. I set everything up and got ready for the show. I was pretty stoked because I had a friend from college that I haven't seen in like 9 years say they were coming. When they showed up it was super fun to finally catch up
We had a pretty good crowd show up actually. They were into it from the beginning. I got to see a bunch of my friends go up. Like Brandon Beswick, Alex, Paige, JR, Chris, and plenty of others. Everybody does pretty well.
It is finally my turn. I go up and thoroughly enjoy my set. I am getting in a good rhythm of trying new stuff, and keeping what works. The new really hit pretty hard tonight. I didn’t destroy, but the jokes are getting better. The progress is amazing to feel. I’d give this set a B-.
After the show I headed home because I was exhausted. I said goodbye to my friend and dipped out.
9/11
Tonight I had a 9/11 benefit show put on my Nick Deez to do in Newport News at Cozzys. I was co-headlining and was excited for it. I headed down right after work.
I met Nick, Ian Nightengale, and Torrey Huggins for dinner. We talked shop and ate some pizza before headed next door to Cozzy’s to record my podcast before the show. The episode turned out great. I had Ian and Nick go up against Rock and Torrey. Super funny episode and I cannot wait to release it.
We then get ready for the show to start. The lineup is Torrey, Ian, Rock, Nick, Tim Macklin, AC Smith, Brent Schreiber, myself, and Fred McKinnon.
We were worried about a crowd, but honestly we got about 25 people in there. Which is super dope for an off night. The show got started and it was dope.
They were a little tight for Torrey’s set, but he woke them up. Then Ian had a really strong set as well. This just kept building. AC had a hot one, then Brent, then Rock had a super offensive set. Nick did some newer stuff during his set. Then Tim went up before me and it just didn’t stop.
I went up and went straight into crowd work. We were running a little behind, and I didn’t want them to get tired. So I just addressed the crowd for about 10 minutes, and it was working really well. Like I was killing with the crowd work, and then at the last ten minutes I did a bunch of newer stuff that hit really hard too. I got off feeling really good about how it went. I’d give it an A-.
After my set I packed my stuff up and hung out until the show ended. Fred had a good set, and I got to go outside and talk shop with the guys. We talked about some comedic frustration and limitations that we have to put up with. Sometimes it is good to just vent a bit, and then you feel way better. Afterwards I got in my car and drove back to try to make McCormacks in time.
I luckily did. I got there with only one comic left so I got to squeeze in before him. The crowd was dead. Like two people paying attention, but I did brand new stuff. I just needed to say into a microphone to work on it. I bombed super hard, but a couple ideas got a few laughs so I know where to start. I’d give this set a D-.
As soon as I was done I headed home to pass out. I had a long day the next day.
9/12
I drove up to DC to host for my buddy Dan Lamorte at DC Comedy Loft. I got there a little before showtime, and got to meet the other comics. Which included Maggie Crane, Michael Terry (who I had met with Dan in Richmond last year) and Trevor Wallace (IG comic) who was headlining downstairs but popped up for a guest spot.
It was a light crowd, but they all were fans of Dan’s so they were into it. Dan was doing a guest spot downstairs as well so there were a lot of moving parts. I went up and had a good hosting set. They liked me and I didn’t have to do any crowd work.  I just did some newer and older jokes. They all worked, and I had the crowd warmed up. I’d give this set a C.
Next up was Trevor. It was obvious that standup wasn’t his first love. He got huge on IG and he had a great stage presence and was extremely likable on stage. It just didn't seem tight at all. it looked like a dude doing what he thought standup was supposed to be. He is huge, and selling out rooms. I respect he is working on the craft, but he is definitely an internet guy that jumped over to standup because it was another avenue to make some money.
After his set I brought up Maggie Crane. Michael Terry told me that I would need to do some time in-between comics because Dan might not be back from his set downstairs. So after her set I went up and did a few more jokes. They also went well. I was just worried that if he wasn’t back when Michael got off stage then I’d have to stall again.
Michael went up and had a solid set too, and right before he got off Dan showed up. I brought Dan up and sprinted over to Big Hunt to try to get another set in before my night was over.
I got to go up pretty quickly after I got there and I felt pretty good doing newer material. The crowd was weird, and they didn’t dig everything and I went too hard no anti-vaxxers apparently. I’d give this set a C.
I then sprinted back to Comedy Loft and caught the end of the set. I got to hang and chill for a bit before packing up and heading home. I was stoked because this was the earliest I'd gotten to leave DC in a while.
9/13
I was so excited because this weekend I got to feature at the Richmond Funny Bone. This was going to be my second weekend featuring there. I was so ready for it to be better than the last. I was extremely nervous, but knew it was going to be fun because my friend Anthony Thompson was hosting. I was also worried because the last time I featured there my dad was at the show. So this was bringing up all kinds of memories.
The early show was Vicki Barbolak (America’s Got Talent) headlining. It was an ok sized crowd. Nothing crazy, but definitely close to full. It was the whitest I have ever seen a crowd there. I am used to this club being more of an urban club. I knew I was going to have to adjust my material, and was worried this might end up being a long weekend.
The show starts and Anthony goes up to warm them up. Then I go up. I do ok. I could not get in a good rhythm. I was scared and I felt like all of my stuff wasn’t working. I powered through and did my time, but I was not happy with this set. I’d give it a C-.
Afterwards I watched some of Vicki’s set, but mostly got a bite to eat and tried to decompress before the second show. After the show ended I didn’t even really talk to the people coming out. I was too ashamed. I didn’t kill, and I didn’t feel like I deserved to be there. I did here from several people that I did better than I felt, but that doesn’t mean much.
The second show the headliner was James Lawson. It was definitely a black crowd, and I was ready to show what I can do. Anthony went up and we could tell this crowd was going to be better.
Then I went up and definitely had a better set. I wasn’t killing but I had some pretty good pops. Nothing completely bombed, and that was a relief. I did some fun crowd work and got off on a pretty big laugh! I’d give it a C.
After this I hung out for a bit. I got some food, and just chilled. After James set I got to talk to a few people and actually got to give out some #cutecomedy stickers. After everyone left I headed home to prepare for the rest of the weekend.
9/14
The next day I relaxed at home, did some cleaning, and watched the Virginia Tech football game. It has been really difficult to do it without dad, but I have to. After hanging out for a while I headed into town ready to have two great sets.
I get there and Vicki is doing an interview with a lady who wrote a book. She is getting like a recommendation from Vicki so she can post it online. She says she is too christian and can’t really watch the show, but she wanted to sit for a while. So her and her husband take the comics table which means I have to take down my camera. Which straight up is annoying as shit. Especially since she wasn’t going to stay for the whole show. There were other tables that had open seats. She could have sat there, but nope. Had to move the camera.
The show starts and it is almost full. Anthony had a solid hosting set. I went up and had a really strong feature set. I was super proud of it. I didn’t do any crowd work. Just 20+ minutes of my material and they really enjoyed it. I did a new opener and put my old opener after it. Which kept it fresh and gave me two big pops up top. I closed pretty strong too.  I’d give this set a B+
Afterwards I went and ate and did video editing in the green room. After the show I went outside and met with people. I had a good buddy from high school who has come to a few shows show up. He gave me some strong compliments and he said he loved that I didn’t do crowd work. He said it was all material, and it was awesome. That means a lot to hear since I worry my crowd work is way better than my jokes.
The second show starts and they are rowdier than the first crowd. Anthony did well, and addressed a table of hecklers. I went up and had a hot one. The jokes worked, but where I really got them was the crowd work. There were two tables doing ladies night, and I was able to pick on them. One was wasted and the others were classier. There was a dude and his wife in the front who were super into the show. Super handsome dude, and gorgeous lady so I was able to bring them into the fold. Such a super fun set. I’d give this one a B+/A-.
After my set I headed over to meet up with my buddy Kenn for a bit. We chilled and talked and I told him I had to go back to hand out stickers. I had people say I was better than the headliner which is bull shit, but still nice to hear. I handed out a bunch of stickers and got a good number of people to follow me on social media.
After all of this Kenn and I went to grab a bite to eat and catch up. Then I headed home.
9/15
This was a super chill day. I got Pho and hung out with some friends. I also went to Coco and Hazel which is a dope milkshake place in town. They have ginormous shakes with cake and cookies on top of them.
I then headed over for the last show. It was pretty full for a Sunday. I got to talk to Vicki a bit and she was super sweet. She had some kind words for me and said she’d be in touch.
Anthony had a good set, and then I felt really good about mine. I did a good mix of material and crowd work. They really dug what I was doing. I got some huge pops, and felt the confidence to try a new joke(it didn’t work). The audience was one of the best Sunday audiences I have ever seen. I’d give this a B.
After my set I got my check and dipped out. I wasn’t feeling great, and I was just ready to kind of unwind and relax and go to bed.
9/16
After work I headed to a pretty productive therapy session. After this I headed up to The Southern.
When I got there I set everything up. I moved the tables, and set up the PA. I had it looking really good. Unfortunately Monday Night Football kind of kills comedy in this area. We didn’t have a huge crowd.
We did have a lot of my friends come out though. Mu, Bryan, Adam Chiodini, Paige, Heather, JR, Chris, Shane Hill, Sam Wood, Samantha Padgett, and plenty of others.
The show was actually pretty fun. Everybody did ok, or if they didn’t it was good for them. I went up and had a solid set. I did mostly new stuff. I had two brand new bits, and new tags for bits I did last week. So it was incredibly productive for me. I’d give it a C.
After my set I packed up and headed home. I was exhausted. I ended up not sleeping well. My dad has been weighing very heavy on my mind lately. I doesn’t seem to be getting easier. It definitely feels like it is getting worse.
I DID IT! Caught up again. I’ll be back Thursday with tomorrow’s shows. I love you laydees and baybees very much. I don’t know if anyone reads this, but if you do thank you! Thanks for supporting #cutecomedy !!! xoxo see you soon.

We’re getting close & closer to one of my favorite podcasts EVER! I got into A LOT of sports topics, but once you reach stuff and even the message being passed along, you’ll understand a lot clearer why I titled this episode the way I did. The fatigue is VERY real. Wall & Westbrook got traded, Jake Paul KO’d Nate Robinson, tech companies picked up other tech companies, & a rapper named a song after a major company, which could give him fed time. These topics and many more on this week’s episode of thePASSBTpod. #PassTheMessage #podcast #talker #PASSPodcast #PodcastAboutSportsNStuff #thePassBTpod #Sports #Music #Artists #Gaming #Technology #BuzzSprout #rva804 #Spotify #Subscribe #branding #blueyetix #richmond804 #podcastLife #blymibt #plymibt #podsInColor #professionalRecordingEngineer #AirpodsEscape #SonySesh #premiumContent #rvaPod Check out @thepassbtpod on all social platforms.
