Life is hard! Consider buying my stuff!

My life isn't quite falling apart, but things have gotten really tricky lately. One housemate (and their super destructive, permanent houseguest) is refusing to pay their share of rent or utilities for the next three months, and another is refusing to pay their full share of rent for that same amount of time and is making us cover around $75 every month, and I'm having to double-up my hours at work while still being a full-time student (and also one of my professors, who we're 99% sure is using ChatGPT to generate her citations because none of them exist and we pointed this out, hates my guts and has been grading me really harshly and forcing me to go full-sail on every assignment to ridiculous degrees in order to pass this required class).

My spouse is working on getting full-time at their job, but it looks like they won't be able to until December, and we also have no idea how much rent is going to increase this year-- my guess is it's going to go up another $500, same as last year, to a total of $3,000, so things are gonna get really fucking bumpy until around January, probably.

So basically, if you like the work I've done, consider throwing me a tip on Ko-Fi or buying my stuff on Itch.io:

There is so much more going on right now than what I've mentioned here, especially in terms of surprise medical bills and other horrible surprises. I have PTSD dudes! This is so unimaginably fucking awful for my mental health!#If it weren't for my support system I would be in PIECES right now. Как обычно насобирала пост с косметикой, чтобы показать, что у меня есть новенького.

Голубые патчи заказывала на Тему, они были довольно не плохие для бюждетных. Второй набор масок в индивидуальных упаковках трёх разных видов и разного назначения мне очень понравились (особенно розовые).

Взяла свои любимые японские шампунь и кондиционер, а то всё закончилось. Я уже пробовала именно этот вид и мне они подходят 🩷

Ну и набор новых зубных щеток с Хелло китти и интересная зубная паста. Кстати, щетками не стала пользоваться, они слишком твердые для меня 😭

hardwood comb project

I forgor to buy a lighter colored wood for the spine/core so I can't keep working on it tonight cause all I've got is the walnut.

The best place to start is with our main character, is it not?

The story is classic.

Frisk, a seven year old with a head in the clouds and feet that have a tendency to move on their own finds themself on yet another adventure at the top of the famously cursed Mt. Ebott.

After an incident involving searching for a flower and some amateur rock-climbing, they tumble down a giant hole and into a world of magic and mystery.

Armed with only their wit, determination, and the occasional sarcastic comment from a ghostly narrator, Frisk ventures further into the cavern, making both friends and enemies along the way.

So how is Underswap Frisk different from their Undertale counterpart?

For the most part, they aren’t.

They still effect the story through their choices, have the ability to save and reload files, and generally just roll with the punches until they get the outcome they want to see.

The biggest change is their newly found ability to pack an extra punch with any weapons they find along the way.

They’re a little bit magic now.

So, Due to the fact that Frisk’s soul has an attachment to the remainder of a monster soul (Check out Asriel’s bio for a bit more details on that) they aren’t entirely bound to the limits of human fighting anymore.

It’s nothing to powerful, of course, just a little bit of an extra punch with their attacks, maybe a second attack in one turn if they’re real motivated.

With enough time and practice, they might be able to form the world’s smallest magic knife. But until then, they’ll have to stick with channeling their limited magic through whatever they happen to be holding at the time.
