Summary : Lucifer didn't think he would ever have the chance at love again, but then he met you and got to know you after the destruction of the Hotel.

Also legit the first part of this barely has any interactions but eh- idk where I was going with this-

Might make this into a series, idk yet.. Also definitely one of my more boring and bad works sadly..

Coming back to the hotel from an outing in the city, you were met with chaos. Everyone was running around, Razzle and Dazzle were hanging up a banner reading > Welcome Daddy < what was happening? Ducking your head as Sir Pentious darts past you, before making your way over to Charlie.

"Sweetheart, what's happening?" Laying your hand softly on Charlie's shoulder, her hair flies around as she comes to face you. You were one of the first people to join the hotel back then, having grown close to Charlie over that time, she viewed you as a parent figure, while you viewed her like a daughter. "My dad is coming and everything has to be perfect! He has to be assured he can trust me and help me!" That explained a lot, especially why Charlie was so stressed. Pulling her into a hug now, your hand softly gliding over her head, as you mutter how she should not stress too much and that she is doing amazing. Noticing how her body was relaxing against your own, you were glad to have calmed her down at least a little bit.

After helping the others a bit more, it was finally time. Charlie swept her hands on her jacket, before opening the door. A bright choice sounding, as Lucifer pulls his daughter into a tight hug. Before saying hello to Keekee, Razzle and Dazzle. He was.. different than everyone probably though.

Watching Alastor talk to Lucifer now, they for sure could not stand the other one, this would be fun. Charlie now introduced Vaggie to him, which made you smile a little bit when Lucifer took her into his arms. The rest was quickly introduced before Charlie pulled you beside her. "And this is Y/N, Dad! They really helped me a lot already, of course like anyone else here too!" Fumbling around with her words a bit, you softly lay your hand on Charlie's shoulder. "We know what you mean dear, Charlie is an amazing girl, we are really proud of her." Your eyes were on Charlie, before greeting Lucifer correctly.

It was quiet for a second before a crash could be heard. Oh shit.. For a few minutes, the banter between Alastor and Lucifer continued on, making you sigh as you sat down beside Angel. This way going great huh? Vaggie was also at the end of her nerves right now. As they were seemingly coming to an end finally, the doors slammed open and some short blonde lady walked in as if she owned this place. Being introduced to her soon, you decide to tag along with Charlie and the others to show her dad around.

You were simply following the others, listening to Charlie nervously ramble on, only glancing over your shoulder for a second as Husker stopped Alastor, but you decided to not give it another thought.

Arriving at the balcony, you and Vaggie stand back, as Charlie and her dad talk. But too soon they were interrupted as some debris was thrown into the hotel and shook the whole building. Rushing through the portal, you guys are back in the foyer of the hotel, looking around for an answer. Mimzy the woman from before finally explained what was happening, you rolled your eyes, how amazing. Too busy with making sure you saw everyone safe, you weren't seeing the debris falling your way. Before you knew it you were swept off your feet, as Lucifer saved you from being smashed by the debris, setting you down on your feet again softly, as his wings disappear again.

"You see now Charlie what I mean? Those sinners destroy everything! They fall into your home and destroy it, they aren't grateful for anything!" Talking to Charlie now, as Alastor finally decided to step in and fight off those damned loan sharks, before telling the woman to disappear. Watching Charlie and her dad now, as you were standing beside Alastor, a frown visible on your face. She worked so hard for this, why couldn't he believe in her? Though quickly everything explained itself and both of them seemed to finally makeup, a tear slipping from your eye from how beautiful this moment was.

"All right.. I'll get you that meeting but.. once in heaven you're alone I.. can't come with you." Lucifer told Charlie, before disappearing in a red cloud.

That was now a month ago. Right now everyone was getting ready for that damned extermination. Sadly Charlie's conversation with Heaven didn't do anything, on top of that the tension in the whole group grew, with Vaggie being an old exterminator. But that was all over now, as the whole group decided to have one last drink the night before the big battle. You were talking with Husker, as Angel was with Cherri, Alastor and Niffty looking upon everyone and Charlie with Vaggie nowhere to be seen. And of course, Sir Pentious trying to strike up a conversation with Cherri. You hoped everything would go well tomorrow and that no one would die.

The morning arrived, and everyone was gathered outside to protect the hotel, to protect Charlie's dream. Everyone was ready for this.

Almost everything seemed to go down in a wink, the hotel was in shambles, Alastor was missing - assumingly dead, Sir Pentious gave his life for the group and Adam was killed. Now the rebuild of the hotel was in full swing, everyone was helping, even Cherri who wasn't even a resident of the hotel yet. Lucifer also stayed to help his daughter and somehow convinced her to let him have a room too and stay with the group.

"Have you seen Charlie? Some new shipments came." The blonde was approaching you now, his coat and hat off, sleeves pushed up to his elbows. Raising to your feet from where you were kneeling to work on some nails, you swept some sweat from your forehead before turning to Lucifer. "She and Vaggie went to town real quick for some errands, but she told me where to put them, let me show you." Laying the hammer down on one of the many workbenches, you go accept the shipments, before showing Lucifer the way.

You and him had quite a few conversations over the last few days, with you being a parent figure for Charlie and him being her father, you two talked a lot about how well she is doing. What you didn't notice were the fleeting glances the king of hell threw your way every now and then.

"She told me to just put it here." Opening the door to a little cabinet now on the first floor of the hotel in the foyer. This was the first thing finished, right now the works were on the upper rooms. Putting down the box you were carrying on the shelf, Lucifer followed where you put the other box, before thanking you for helping him out. "Soo.. The hotel is coming together rather nicely huh?" Looking over to you with his red eyes now, as you close the door, a bit confused he was striking up a conversation right now. "Yeah, everyone is doing so amazingly, I'm glad we got so much help.. If we don't look at Niffty punching holes in the new floor trying to catch roaches.." At least some things were apparently not changing and stayed the same.

"Say.. when the hotel is finished would you perhaps.. you know.. maybe.. be interested in a date?" Stopping in your tracks now, you blink a few times. Did you just hear correctly? The Lucifer Morningstar, the king of hell just asked you for a date? Turning your head around now, your cheeks slowly become a crimson-red color. Looking at him, he didn't really look different, his cheeks red, as he was sheepishly playing with his sleeves. "You want to go on a date with me?" Raising his eyes to meet yours, he simply nods. "To be honest with you, you caught my eye the day I first came here but.. then all this happened and we never really got to talk and I was worried you would think I'm weird for asking, so I thought I should maybe wait a bit-" He was rambling on, probably from how nervous he was to ask you out. After his ex-wife left him, he didn't really date anyone after that, so it's been a while since he has ever asked someone for a date. "I would love to. Thank you for asking me." Laying your hand softly over his, giving it a soft reassuring squeeze to tell him not to worry too much. Sadly the moment was cut short, when Angel called for you, having someone questions about about paint.

Lucifer's eyes followed you now, the smile on his face not being able to be hidden now, fist-pumping the air happily over how he finally asked you. Charlie came back that moment and looked a little bit more than worried at her father, but overall no new behavior from him.

The hotel was soon finished, Alastor also came back, making at least Charlie relieved that he was still alive, Husker and Lucifer didn't seem so pleased with that fact, but they would get over it.

So now, it was time for your date with Lucifer. Charlie was thrilled when she heard you would be going on a date with her dad, at first you were rather worried about how she would react, but she was happy that her dad was trying to find love again. Making sure your hair was sitting right and your clothes were wrinkle-free, when a knock sounded at your door. Taking one last breath, you open it and are met with Lucifer. His hat was gone and he was wearing a white suit, similar to what he normally wore but more suitable for a fancy dinner - as fancy as a dinner in hell can be.

"You look amazing! Oh my! Look at you!" Lucifer was throwing compliments at you left and right, before he caught himself again, straightened his jacket, and then extended his arm for you to take. "Thank you, you also look amazing tonight Lucifer." Taking his arm now, he guides you two to the elevators which take you down to the foyer. Charlie was trying subtly to look at you two, but failing miserably. "Charlie is staring at us and almost crying.." Whispering to Lucifer now, he just nods, making sure to throw Vaggie a begging look to take care of Charlie, as you two leave the hotel. He decided to take you to the more finer side of Pentagram City, where rather expensive shops and restaurants were and which were less bloody.

"Here we are! It's the finest one I know around here!" Leading you inside, it was a big place. The restaurant had a fountain in the middle and had many plants all around the wide place. Marble floors, stone walls were adorned with gold elements and gold was seen all throughout the place. This was definitely an expensive place by the looks of it. A waiter leading you to a table no, you were sure was the best one in the whole restaurant. It was by a wide window, having a good look down the city, in the distance you could even see the hotel slightly, especially the big sign reading Hazbin Hotel.

"This place is beautiful but.. it looks rather expensive, are you sure this is okay?" Of course you knew who Lucifer was and he could basically afford anything in this whole city and do anything he wanted, you just wanted to make sure. Assuring you now that you shall not worry about something like that. Ordering food and enjoying the meal together, it was a nice evening. Everything goes by smoothly and you and Lucifer finally get around to know each other better. Sadly the dinner was over too quickly, Lucifer leading you back to the hotel now, while telling you a story from Charlie's childhood, which made you giggle. He truly was a gentleman and had a pure heart, he cared so much about Charlie.

"So.. would you.. repeat this another time? I mean only if you also enjoyed it! I of course did enjoy it! I mean you're amazing and-" Standing in front of your room now, you silence him with a soft kiss to the cheek, before looking at him softly fixing his suit. "I would love to Luci, I enjoyed this evening with you alot." Raising your eyes again to meet his, you can't help but let out a giggle at his expression. Eyes blown wide, mouth open and cheeks blazing red. "Great! Yeah! Woah! Me too! Especially the food, poah that was amazing! And the place was really worth it! Was it to your liking? I really hope so because-" Pulling him down by his suit now, your lips softly meeting his, eyes closed, before seperating again as you look at him. "Sorry.. You were rambling so nervously.. Please don't worry, I mean it when I say loved tonight.. Now sleep well Luci." Planting another kiss to his cheek, you enter your room, closing the door behind yourself.

You can help but smile at his little giggles as he skips down the hallway to his own room now. He was something, but you were looking forward to more dates that would follow this one.

𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 (opla!zoro x fem!reader)

sʏɴᴏᴘsɪs; zoro always felt like he had that deep connection with you every since the day you joined the crew his desire to be completely consumed by this intense experience he gets from being around you

ᴡᴀʀɴɪɴɢ; protective zoro, slight cursing, fighting one piece spoilers (ep 8) disclaimer!reader has devil fruit powers precisely she can freeze things with her hands and I also changed up the scene a bit for the character to fit in

“Okay let’s go” Luffy announced as started off our plans ambushing arlong’s grew and bursting threw the door

“Fishmen! Stand by to repel boarders!” A fish men ordered to the rest

Upon hearing that Luffy cracked his knuckles, Sanji and Nami got into their fighting stance, Zoro pulled out his Katana and I got ready to use my devil fruit powers.

“Where arlong?” Luffy asked in a more monotone voice

“He’s probably in the map room” answered back Nami

“Then that’s where we’re going” Luffy said

Nami nodded leading Luffy to the Map room to where arlong was at

They left leaving me, Usopp , Zoro and Sanji to fight off the Fishmen

They all ran towards us and we started fighting them

I had three Fishmen my way throwing hit and punches at me as I dodge them using my devil fruit powers to freeze them and throw some punches and kicks of my own

A Fishmen tried to attacking me from the back in which I didn’t see but zoro had jumped in slicing away his throat

“Thanks” I mumbled out of breathe

He hummed

After finishing some more Fishmen I watched as a more bigger one started chasing Usopp

God no..

I ran away them as the Fishmen started speaking up, I used my ice powers to freeze his legs and run away Usopp

The Fishmen gruffled out stomping his fry and breaking out

“Shit” Usopp said looking terrified

“Shit indeed” I agreed now running along with Usopp

“Your not getting away” the Fishmen roared spitting out alcohol balls toward us as we both dodged it running some more

“All I need is one good shot” he whispered out looking back over I me

He got up about to shoot but one of the balls got him as he tumbled down the hill

I squealed running after him but falling down myself along with him

“Get back here” the Fishmen said now back to running after us

𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲 𝑨𝑻 𝑨𝑹𝑳𝑶𝑵𝑮𝑺 𝑷𝑨𝑹𝑲

“You look tired” mocked Sanji and he gave another Fishmen a back kick and sweeper another one off there feet

“Maybe you should take a break” another mock again

This time it got to zoro as he got back up back to slicing away more Fishmen

“You ought to get back in the kitchen” sneered zoro

“Quit screwing around”

“Luffy,Nami and Y/n needs us!” Voiced out Sanji and zoro eyes turned dark at the mention of his crew mates name

“You just got here you don’t know what she needs” Gruffled out zoro

“I know she needs my cooking” prided out Sanji as he smirked over at zoro

“Putting two slices of bread together” mimicked zoro in a pissed off tone

“Ooh someone’s feeling threatened” Giggled buggy as his head was still stuffed in the bag

“then get me back to my body! We’re close I can feel my toes” Buggy continued

“Trust me I can help you guys win this thing” the clown still pleaded

Sanji looked over seeing the clowns body hanged up as he took off the bag off his shoulders

“I swear clown is you screw us over..” mumbled zoro

Sanji opened the bag dropping the clowns head on the floor as the clown groaned in pain attaching itself back onto its body

The clown yelled in joy feelings itself intact again

“oh, it’s so much better than I even remembered” the clown cheered

He looked over at Sanji and zoro

“Hey, so um..I’m gonna get out of here” mocked buggy as he stocked both his middle fingers to them while running away

“Hey!” Yelled zoro

“Sorry kiddos id love to make things right but it’s time to exit stage left” the clown said running along

“Fucking clown” zoro rasped out

𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲 𝑻𝑶 𝒀𝑶𝑼𝑹 𝑷𝑶𝑽

“You okay” I asked out to Usopp as I pulled him up to his legs

“shh he’s coming duck” he instructed to play dead as we both laid down with him dashing hot sauce on us to make us both look dead

We both closed our eyes playing dead, feeling the presence of the fish man coming close

“too bad little one just when we were starting to have some fun” the Fishman whispered

Feeling him walk away we both opened our eyes as we slowly but quietly got back up

“Gotcha” whispered Usopp as he looked over at the hot sauce he used

“Hey, Neck flaps” I yelled out

“Where you going?” Continued Usopp

“You haven’t even tried my hot sauce” Usopp smirked

“ that still won’t save you my skin is tougher than bullets” prided out the fishman

“Maybe you should try one of my new patented fire rounds” Usopp suggested pulling something from behind his ear

“I’m a fishman I don’t catch fire” He said again

“ maybe you don’t but alcohol does” Usopp said

“Special attack, exploding star” he yelled again

now throwing the ball at the alcohol and watching as it exploded on the Fishmen in agony

“Yeah, Ha! Take that”

“ the great Captain Usopp fells another notorious villain” Usopp sang out looking over at me in victory

We both jumped up giving each other a hight five

“The great captain Usopp did it again” I encouraged

“And no one’s around to see it but my fellow crew mate” he breathed out

“It’s okay.. they’ll belive me, your here” he convinced himself as I nodded

We both ran back to the park where Sanji and zoro were at

Once we reached over there we saw that they both were right one fish men

“Your crew mates are fools to have faith in such weak compatriots” mocked the large Fishmen

Usopp and I looked at each other

“Should we..” I asked out peeking over at Usopp

“Nah they’ll be fine” Usopp whispered back

We looked back over at them

“You and eve Badmouth Nami” Sanji grumbled taking off his blazer

“Yeah you don’t ever badmouth Y/n and the crew.. Now you’ve done it” Zoro said tighting his bandana

that’s so sweet

Sanji started giving him some lethal kicks calling out his moves as he does it and then finally sending the fishman flying into a shop

“Mouton shot?” zoro asked walked away

“all great Fine is called out they’re finishing moves” Sanji answered back

“Yeah, your gonna fit in just fine” Zoro said

I looked over at Usopp as he signaled us to go in and be prepared for any attacks

“Never fear Y/n the great Usopp with protect you!” Usopp yelled out running infront of me to inside the park

I followed behind him chuckling

“Oh. You guys did pretty good in here” Usopp exhaled out looking over at me while smiling

I looked over at zoro and Sanji nodding in approval

“Good job guys” I expressed out walking over to them

“You okay” zoro asked me examining me as Sanji looked over at the now talking temple

“Just fine, thank to Usopp” I answered in which made Usopp Beamer even more and Zoro rolled his eyes keeping his hands attached to his sword

Right then we saw Nami making her way down the falling temple

“Nami!” Sanji yelled in happiness holding out his hands

She ran past him and to us, hugging Zoro, Usopp and I in happiness

“Your all okay” she pointed out hugging tighter

Ouch

She let go smiling while out of breath

“Where luffy” asked Sanji

“He’s still inside..” she answered back

“Fighting arlong”

We all looked over towards the temple watching it continue to collapse

“He’s gonna be all right”Usopp said

“Right” now he sounded a bit more unsure

Just then the whole temple collapse, I gasped out in fear as felt zoro’a hand holding mines in protection

“He’s gonna be fine” zoro whispered into my ears rubbing his thumb over my fingers as he held them

I nodded my head

Silence it was after the whole temple dropped down

That’s when we saw luffys whole arm stick out from the pile of dust he was under

Phew

And he then jumped out I could finally let go of the fresh air I was holding in

“Nami!, you are our friend..we are your crew” Luffy cried out

Sanji laughed as I did too and so did the rest as luffy only smiled

The Sign (Sat YT) ep 11 of 12 - I support the fact that the producers seem to have decided that even in uniform Yai never needs to wear sleeves. Hear hear.

No sleeves for Yai ever again!

On the other hand, why doesn’t anyone ever wear gloves? Going around touching evidence all willy nilly like that.

No to sleeves. Yes to gloves.

People. Sheesh. Get with the program.

Anygay, this is such a fun show. I could watch 50 episodes of this abject nonsense. I’m sad it’s gonna be ending. And I don’t say that often about Thai BL.

Pit Babe (Fri iQIYI) ep 12 of 14 - Oh has Jeff been kidnapped again? Here, let's throw fruit at Babe and think about it for a bit. Tra la la. Trash watch happening here.

Cooking Crush (Sun YT) ep 9 of 12 - They are such very good boyfriends. Also, this is a ton of kissing for OffGun. I’m at a loss as to how they are going to turn this into a decent 12 ep show. Unfortunately, I’ve foresee it going off the rails - pacing seems off.

For Him (Thurs iQIYI) ep 10 of 12 - We have our little No Comebacks twist. The sides are growing on me, but now the mains are boring me. The sudden gun-toting new characters are just weird. It’s like they took the script and just threw it down a staircase, gathered it back up again, then filmed that.

City of Stars (Fri iQIYI) ep 1 of 12 - Fueang is an actor in the midst of crisis and scandal. Normally I don’t like Thai BL when it’s tackles celebrity and this is... yep, the same. Our actor is pitted against an older worried nerdy app developer, Krom. And I feel that dynamic - hyung romance, jock/nerd? Very nice. But it’s also very Star Hunter. Never met a trope they didn’t wanna do a million times over - in the very first episode. Also I think I’m not a fan of the actor playing the lead.

My Universe (Sun iQIYI) ep 24fin - The blond who comes to get his hair shaved looks just like Fluke T (SOTUS et al). And even more like him after the shaving (My Bromance et al). Is that him? MDL doesn't say.

Anygay... something something: Orphan. Cancer. Kisses. Dream. Death. 'Bout what I expected. 2/10 even with a decent kiss I don’t do dream sequences and I don’t like death in my BL

All in all, I’m relieved that that’s over. The series is a slog. And in general I don’t recommend it. I plan to promptly forget its entire existence.

Ongoing Series - Not Thai

Love For Love's Sake (Korea Weds iQIYI) eps 3-4 of 8 - There is so much to adore about this show. The two younger guys who are suddenly in competition for the one older one. You know hyung romances are my favs. A hyung love triangle? COME ON. Also, I got to say this one’s giving me second lead syndrome. I do love me a brat. Add in all this on honorific play and linguistic flirting (as their should be in age gap). This is just THE BEST show.

Look I gotta say this: the "Who did this to you?" trope (AKA who hurt you?) is the single most popular romance trope right now, remarkable to see it turn up in a BL. And pleasing. Trust Korea to be ON TREND. It's their national agenda. *respect*

Perfect Propose (Japan Fri Gaga) eps 1-2 of 6 - From Fuji TV (who brought us the Pornographer series) adapted from Mayo Tsurakame’s manga, production team includes Tadaaki Horai (My Love Mix-Up!) and Takeshi Miyamoto (scriptwriter for Old Fashion Cupcake). Hiro’s so stressed at work he barely has time to eat so he passes out on the sidewalk. An unfamiliar face saves him and insists that they once promised to marry each other.

Oh I fucking love it. Sullen, out gay, younger seme with serious grumpy overprotective tendencies and beautiful possessive cat eyes? Well, it’s not dimples, but it’s still my catnip. Also they are moving very quickly. Hand jobs already? + dub con seasoning? Say it with me everyone:

AntiReset (Taiwan Fri Viki/Gaga) eps 1-2 of 10 - I really enjoy the character of an OCD intellectual automaton professor, contrasted to a warm and sunshine actual robot. Out the gate, this is oozing Taiwanese domesticity, we can only hope they juice it with their usual standard of heat too.

All puns aside: It’s charming and I’m charmed. Does Taiwan finally have another winner on its hands?

I do adore Taiwan's aesthetics: The house designs, the suit designs, the human designs. I wouldn't say no to the robot’s pants either. Very cool. Can I order them in black?

Although I Love You and You AKA Sukiyanen Kedo Do Yaro ka (Japan Thurs Gaga) ep 4 of 10 - The birthday confession was a bit much. But I love how mature the reactions were. It reminded me a little bit of I Cannot Reach You. Always a good thing.

Happy Ending (Korea Tues YT) 2 of 3 - Oh it’s lovely, exactly as I expect from Strongberry.

I gotta say all of the above are pretty neck & neck for top spots for entirely different reasons. BL is seriously giving right now!

Sahara-sensei to Toki-kun (Japan Fri Gaga) ep 8fin - In the end this is mostly a piece about courage, and the rewards and disappointments that being courageous entails. Sadly, I personally didn’t have the courage to enjoy it. Featuring a chaos nugget bad boy student who falls madly in love with his teacher, this should’ve been My Thing. But Japan failed me. It happens sometimes. The leads had no chemistry, and the age gap rather than being a narrative driver and source of conflict, was just ignored. 7/10

My Top 5 BL Kisses of Jan (& Feb) 24 + why

Okay, okayyyyy I'm doing this, no backing out. I offically accept that analyzing kisses takes up so much of my brainspace that I can write about it — so here it goes. I'M NOT HIDING ANYMORE BUT OWNING UP TO IT! (lol, chill)

Last year I complained that I didn't get a single perfect kiss since I started watching BL TV shows (until PhayaTharn turned up) and now we're not even a quarter into the new year and I already got FIVE I'm absolutely in AWE about!! FIVE!!

I don't know if it's the actors, directors or coaches who upped their game (probably all of them) but hot damn, all of these are beautiful.

And don't ask me why I'm into kiss-acting so much I have no fucking clue, my first guess is that it's an artform in itself to make this amazing, wonderful, intimate form of touching look as beautiful as it feels — bc let's be honest here, irl kissing rarely looks pretty no matter how great it is! So I think it's just dope when you can see this beauty translated on screen.

So I guess this is peak romance genre for me and with that being said, enough talking, lets get to the kissykissies!

5. TenPrem - Cooking Crush EP. 11

I have to be honest with you, I was a bit confused by the kissing in this show. The tippytoe kiss was cute as heck but we all saw how Off AND Gun awkwardly blinked because they probably had to stay like that for a looooong time. It took the whole magic out of the whole first-kiss-moment. Same with the forced in, reshot makeout-scenes. But the kiss in the kitchen? Looks like they FINALLY got to show what they got.

Ten gently pulling Prem closer, them smoothly moving against each other, Ten closing in even more, the slightly open-mouthed kiss with their lips perfectly caressing each other, Ten with a bit more force, Prem with a bit more heat resulting in the perfect mix...Loved it, mwah.

4. PromNont - Playboyy EP. 12

They are my one Playboyy-couple where I'm like "if they don't end up married and running Playboyy together, starting the revolution of well-payed, insured and safe sex workers I'm gonna riot" even though I know this show will not end nicely for ANYONE.

Anyways, this kiss. Holy smokes they had so many good scenes but this one took the cake. Not just the sheer length of it (but still with perfect timing and breaks).

The slightest suck on Nonts upper lip, Prem literally making Nont sway, Nonts hidden desperation for Prom surfacing from his lips, them slowly but surely turning up the heat and last but not least, Prom grabbing Nonts face just to lean against him...UGH THEM!

3. Myungha & Yeowoon - Love for Love's Sake EP 8

I know I'm not alone in how this show swept me off my feet and hit me right in the feels. But I've gotta say, this kiss hit completely different. Again they kissed for so long but not a single moment felt wasted. It felt like their whole story put in a single kiss. And — I mean that in the most loving and positive way possible — they kissed so amazingly gay. Do you know what I mean?!

There's just this level of love, care and happiness that only queer couples can convey. Sprinkled with a hint of tongue (I saw that Yeowoon 👀) — they absolutely nailed it.

2. AlanJeff - Pit Babe EP. 11

The kiss that made me consider doing this post in the first place. I saw them and shouted THIS IS PERFECT just to realize that I did this a few weeks ago already and it made me spiral a little. In the best way possible because I felt truly blessed once again to have discovered the genre of BL in their golden era!

Because this right here is how you nail an open mouthed kiss my friends. Take notes BL producers. Put this in your textbooks! They both go at the same rythm (slow, careful but so, so loving JUST LIKE THEIR RELATIONSHIP UGH) and same level of touch so their lips caress each other perfectly. Furthermore, Alan knows exactly how to meet Jeff which is also a PERFECT EXTENSION OF HIS CHARACTER! Alan leads, Jeff follows but they meet perfectly and equally. TEN OUT OF TEN NO NOTES!

1. PhayaTharn - The Sign EP. 9

I don't understand the meaning of the "Roman Empire"-thing but I think if I say they are mine, I am correct because they will be the end of me and that's what that means right? I may be biased AF but objectively speaking, this is just an insanely well acted-out scene, PERIOD! And we all know it's thanks to Billybabes out-of-this-world-chemistry!

Phayas desperation translated into this gorgeous lip-clash, so much yearning but softness at the same time but what really got to me was how Tharn immediately melted after their lips touched, how he immediately opened up to him and got completely overwhelmed by Phayas feelings. Chapeau to Babe for showing so much range in a single second. My favorite kiss of the whole series ❤️

I also just realized all these kisses have one thing in common....hands on faces lol.

I didn't want to go to the meeting about who we should vote. Both Kyung-Jun and Jin-ha are very important to me. I didn't know what to do anymore. I texted the group that I was going to see them both and then message me for the vote.

I walked thru the corridors and knocked on the door before entering. "Jin-ha." I breathed out sadly and watched his sad eyes. "You believe me don't you?" He asked me as he got closer. "Of course." I told him and wrapped my arms around him. "I'm so sorry." I said and tried to keep myself together.

"I don't want to die." He told me as he gripped my shirt. "I know..I know." I tried to reassure him that everything would be okay. "I don't want to vote for you, but I don't want to vote for him either." I continued.

"I hate this game." "So do I."

We hang out there for 20 minutes, just talking and thinking about our friendship. We laughed and almost cried too, it was all a beautifull night. But the time had come, it was 11.15pm and we both knew there was a person who to visit too.

"I'm sorry." I said again as I stood up with Jin-ha. "It's okay.* He told me once again and hugged me. "I won't blame you for voting me, it's okay. I know you love him." Jin-ha told me and I felt my eyes watering. "You actually are the best friend I could ask for."

"Thank you." He said, we now making eye contact both almost crying. "If I don't make it, you better wait for me with Seung-Bin in the after life." I said jokingly with a light shove. "We will, Kyung-Jun would kill us if we let you wander there alone." He joked back and I let out a chuckle with few tears.

"I promise we'll see again." I told him before leaving the room with tears. I looked at my phone time now 11.20pm. I rushed towards another room knowing who would wait for me there. I ran and ran, I reached the room and just barged in without any warnings.

"Kyung-Jun." I called him and threw my arms around him. He pulled me closer and hugged me tight. "I missed you." He said and squeezed me slightly. "I know, I've missed you too. I visited Jin-Ha and now I'm here. Sorry I took so long to find you." "Don't worry about it." He said and we laid down on the bed just resting there. "This is a shitty night. I don't want to lose neither of you." I spoke up and held his hand. "I know. I wouldn't want to be in your position either."

And there time went on and on as we spoke and joked together. Then out of nowhere the door opened with Da-Bum opening the door. "Excuse me." He said and walked in. "I have Kyung-Juns phone. Now come with me." He told my boyfriend. Fishy.

Kyung-Jun and I hugged for th last time before they left. I sat on the bed. My phone vibrated and I took it out to see everyone had vothed for Jin-Ha. My heart shattered for my best friends, I knew Jin-Ha didn't do it. He couldn't have killed Seung-Bin.

I casted my vote for him with a small tear rolling down my cheek. "I'm sorry." I breathed out before getting up. I wandered all around the corridors not caring about night coming.

Until I heard a pang after another. Someone was violently banging something against a door? I questioned it so I walked closer to the sound and saw a dooe being blocked so the one inside couldn't get out. "Hello!" I called out waiting for a response. "y/n..?" A familiar voice said. Kyung-Jun!

I treid to get the chair away but a hand stopped me. "Stop." I was told by this one man. "Da-Bum..why is he here." I asked him, both of us knowing well what I meant. "Just walk away, we both know you wont stand a chance against me." He told me with a glare. I stayed quiet thinking he was right. I could hear Kyung-Jun calling for me with baning on the door. "Do it quick please." I pleaded him

"Of course ma'am," He chuckled and waited me to leave. I walked away with a sharp pain going thru my heart. I didn't want to leave Kyung-Jun, but still I did.

Jin Da-Bums pov

I watched y/n leave with a pained face. What a smart girl. I opened the door and saw Kyung-Jun sitting on the floor. "Let the fun begin."

The clock striked twelve. And I just sat on the ground with my head in my hands. "I hate his game.." I mumbled. Then something shining captured my attention. I saw the axe lying on the floor. I can't leave him!

I got the axe and started to run where I came from. I came just in time to see da-Bum ready to kill my boyfriend. "Get away from him!" I screamed and swung the axe at him. "I won't let you kill him!" I shouted again. I Already lost my best friend, I'm not losng my boyfriend too.

"You crazy bitch!" Da-Bum called out and tried to stab me with his knives. I dodged him and swung the axe again, not hitting him. "Let me do my job!" He yelled charging at me again. This time cutting my left hand a little. "Not with this man!" I dodged his other knife and kicked him in his stomach.

I threw the axe away and jumped on him pinning his arms on the ground. "I'm the boss now. I'm telling you to leave him be or you'll be the one out next." Threatening him, but he just laughed. "You can be just so hot when angry." He said and smirked. Ew. "And you can be a pain in my ass." "Oh, how I'd like to be."

"God you're disgusting." I Shook my head "We both know you guys woulnd't work. You're a mafia and he's a civilian." He said. I knew hw was right, but I loved Kyung-Jun too much. "I don't care, as long as he's safe." "Stupid girl." He said and tried to get me off of him, but I stood my ground and kept him pinned.

"Struggle again and I will keep ypu pinned till the morning." I said and took a look at Kyung-Jun. He was just laying there. So peaceful, like nothing could bother him at the moment. "He's a bad guy, why would you even be with him." Da-Bum called my atettion. "He's good to me, he saved my life once." I told him and we locked eyes now him looking hurt. "But when he hurts oter people you just look away. You're no better than him." He told me now looking at Kyung-Jun.

"I'm sorry that he has hurted you Da-Bum. I'm sorry I didn't do anything about it. I'm sorry you had to go all thru it alone. I'm sorry I really am, but I won't leave him to be killed by you." I spoke and got off of him. "Leave or kill both of us."

He got up as well. His eyes searching for anwsers, but then he just left. He took his tools with him leaving me and Kyung-Jun there all alone.

I closed the door and leaned against it holdin my left arm that now had a cut on it. I needed to hide it from others, knowing they'd propably figure out I'm a mafia. But now I just closed my eyes for a moment before drifting off.

"y/n! y/n!" My name was called and I saw Kyung-Jun there, he looked scared. Not knowing what he should do. "Kyun-Jun" I called his name with a soft voice. "I'm glad you're still alive." I gave him a smile and got up. "We should go now." I told him and grabbed the dooor handle. "Are you part of the mafia.." He said and I let out a sigh.

"I wish I wasnt."

"Did you kill Seung-Bin." "No. I couldn't, that's why I was here. I couldn't let you die. I didn't want you to die."

"Thank you. Maybe in another universe we could be together again, and live old together, have kids and be happy. Dance in the rain, bake the cookies you always wanted to do. Just be a happy couple." He told me with pain in his voice.

"Oh how I'd love that. I'd love to dp taht with you, anything in the world I'd do with you." I turned to him with teary eyes and he just pulled me to a gentle kiss.

“Hi.” Joel greeted you with a big smile.

“Hi, Joel.” You hugged him and let him inside your house.

“Good day?” You could sense he just had a good day by his expression.

“Yeah, actually. How do you know?”

“I can see it from your face.” You chuckled.

Joel put his hand on the back of his neck and smiled shyly.

“So..tell me about your day.” You gave him a cup of coffee and invited him to sit on the sofa.

“I..Uh..got a job in town. Construction. It’s good to finally be able to do what I did before the outbreak happened.” He cleared his throat.

“Oh my God, Joel! Congratulations!” You jumped and hugged him. He groaned at your weight.

“I’m happy for you.” You looked at his eyes and kissed him.

“Thank you, baby.” He kissed you back.

“I was thinkin’..” Joel put his hands on your shoulder.

“Hmm?” You looked at him.

“I want to teach you how to use a gun. Have you ever used a gun before?”

“I have used a gun before but it was a long time ago. Never used one since I got here.”

“You good at shootin’?”

“Not really.” You chuckled.

“I’m guessing you’re pretty good huh? Are you trying to show off by teaching me?” You squinted your eyes.

Joel cleared his throat.

“I mean..If you don’t like it, we can do other things. As long as I can spend time with you.” His cheeks redden.

“No, no. I like it. Let’s do it.” You took his hand and swayed it.

“How’s Saturday sound?” He raised your hand and kissed it.

“Saturday sounds good.”

Saturday

“You ready?” Joel brought you to a field where the people in town used to practice shooting.

“I’m nervous.” Your hands were shaking.

“Relax your shoulders. Take deep breaths.” He massaged your shoulder.

You shook your body and took deep breaths.

“Okay. I’m ready.” You loaded the gun just as Joel had taught you.

“Aim to the target and pull the trigger here.” He moved beside you.

*gunshot* ((some parts of the gun scene script is from TLOU Ep 6) I love this scene so much! I was wondering what if Joel did it with his romantic partner, it would be so cute!)

“Ugh! I missed!” You hit the air with your fist.

“You’re flinchin’.”

“The target’s too small.” You didn’t want to admit your bad skills in shooting.

“I made it bigger than I should’ve.”

You gave Joel a side eye and a pout.

“Eject the cartridge.” Joel told you to try once again.

“I’m not flinching. The rifle sucks.” You insisted.

“Okay, give it to me.” Joel decided to show you his skills.

“It doesn’t aim right. You’ll see.”

“A deep breath in. A slow breath out. You squeeze the trigger like you love it. Gentle, steady, nice and slow.” Joel explained to you.

“Are you gonna shoot this thing or get it pregnant?” (This dialogue was so funny lol)

Joel looked at you and squinted his eyes.

“It isn’t gonna work. It doesn’t aim right.” You looked at the target using the binoculars.

Joel pulled the trigger and shot the target right.

“You dick!” You hit his shoulder.

He put on a proud face and shrugged.

“Your turn.” He passed the rifle to you.

“I can’t. I admit it. I’m bad at it.” You refused.

“Come on. I’ll help you.” He moved behind you and guided you.

He was so close and your heart was beating faster. His head next to your head. His chest on your back. You could feel his breath on your neck.

“Relax. Breath in. Breath out.” His words in your ear gave you shivers.

He knew you were shaking so he put his arms on top of yours holding the rifle and the trigger.

“Ready?”

You nodded and he pulled the trigger with your fingers underneath his. You dropped the rifle and grabbed the binoculars. Joel catched the rifle immediately and chuckled.

“Ah! I got it!” You jumped and opened your palm to the air waiting for him to give you a high-five.

“See? You can do it.” He high-fived you.

“That was fun.”

“Want to do it again next time?” Joel put his hand on his jeans pocket.

“Yeah, sure. We should go get a drink to celebrate! I shot the target!” You got too excited.

At the bar

“Cheers!” You clanked your glass to Joel’s.

You drank your beer. Closed your eyes, took a deep breath in and breathe out.

“I feel so good. Thank you for today. I had a great time.” You thanked Joel.

“Anytime, darlin’.”

After a few glasses of beer, you started getting tipsy. The band in the bar played a song you liked and you felt like dancing.

“Oh! I love this song! Let’s dance! Come on!” You danced on the dance floor while Joel just sat there, admiring you.

You swayed your hips, moving your hands down to your curves, closing your eyes, enjoying the night. One by one, all of the men’s eyes in the bar were pointed at you. You were always popular in Jackson, every man told you were the prettiest woman in town. But you were never interested in any of them. Yet, Joel caught your eye. It was like you had a connection with him. You felt attracted to him the first time you saw him. After a while, Joel looked around and realized every man in the bar was staring at you with lust. He frowned and chugged his beer. He was jealous.

“Hey, pretty girl.” You gasped as a man suddenly held your hips and danced behind you.

“I’m with someone.” You tried to send him away.

“But you’ve been dancing alone. Dance with me.” He put his hands on your hips again.

“No. You better go. Trust me. You don’t want to mess with my man.” You let his hands away from you.

“Where is “this man” that I should be worried about?” He was making air quotes with his fingers. You rolled your eyes and crossed your arms to your chest.

“I don’t believe you.” He grabbed your wrist and pulled you to the middle of the dance floor.

Joel saw you and his heart beat faster. He growled and put his glass down on the table with force making the table shook.

“She said no.” Joel’s voice was so deep.

“Let go of her.” Joel grabbed the man’s hand and threw it away forcefully.

“So this is your man?” The man scoffed.

“Leave before you regret it.” You added.

“Fine.” The man raised both of his palms in the air and left.

You could see Joel clenching his fist tightly holding himself from punching the guy. His breathing was heavy. The two of you were already a topic of rumors in the town so he didn’t want to make a scene and made you embarrassed of him.

“Joel. Let’s get out of here.” You took his hand, opened his fist and covered it with both of your hands.

Laws of Attraction Ep 8 (Finale) Stray Thoughts

Last week, we met the best character in the entire show: Nawin. He is gay, unhinged, violent, and so sexy he doesn't wear shirts or underwear in pink suits. He is Chan's ex, and sheltered Chan and Tin. Meanwhile, Thantai is stupid and is posting boyfriend vids on IG while on the run. We also learned that his mom died giving birth to him. Nawin's house in an architectural nightmare. Tin broke the bed after being left there handcuffed by Chan so he can try to blackmail Thatthep. Let's finish this.

Rose is getting ready for whatever they have planned while Maya streams nearby. This has me thinking about criminals who get caught because of their wives' YouTube channels.

Nawin was mooning over Chan until Tin reminded him that he was dumped and now they're in a boxing ring. Amazing.

Nawin, you were the best character. Thank you for your brief time with us.

Okay, the Tin-Thee team up was fun.

With the genre constraints around sex, I like that the show continues to tease that the couples of this show are having a great time with each other.

I'm glad that this show is going for marriage equality as well. A lot of folks who will never watch other BL are probably going to watch this. It's a big deal.

I love Nawin. "If you hurt him I'll hurt you! Wait! Yes! Hurt him so he and I can get back together!" Best character ever.

This show is great. Thatthep threatens Chan one more time and the next scene is him being murdered in prison, the news report downplaying it, and then a smash cut to the wedding photos.

Man, I still don't feel for Thantai much.

I'm missing my grandmothers again.

Of course Chan's chest is out at this wedding.

Nawin is so upset about their wedding that he had to put a shirt on.

Oh lord we got another biter.

I do love Silvy's voice.

Okay, I cried at seeing Tonkhao's dolls getting their own seat. I'm so glad this show never forgot about her or used her death as a joke.

Jam and Film, and all of their friends, had so much fun making this.

Maya and Rose got married, too!!!

Chan wasn't disbarred, and is back to being dramatic for cameras!

Look at Tin having reasonable expectations of Chan.

Final Verdict: 9, Highly Recommended. This was so much fun. I thoroughly enjoyed One31 making another lakorn. With Jam and Film as romantic leads. Every week I got to cackle at the unhinged gay antics of this show and got to enjoy some great performances along the way. Go into this with the right genre expectations and you'll have a blast.

Once again being annoying about a journey to love on the TL:

I think one reason why I still cannot get over AJTL is because!! of how beautifully and realistically it portrays the relationships between characters, and more importantly, it does not outright shove the main pairing into our faces. their relationship took time to develop which made it more realistic imo, and is a nice contrast to a lot of shows these days that seem to have characters falling in love in the span of two episodes.

(I've made a tl;dr a while ago here)

Episode 7

As in- the main couple is shown quite a bit, yes. They get their fair share of screentime, but the drama also focuses on the friendships between the liudaotang squad, the sibling dynamics between NYZ and YY and how it parallels with RRY and LTG.

It really highlights the different kinds of love that one person can have in this life, like the platonic love between YSS and NYZ (imo), the familial love between YL and NYZ, the romantic love between RRY and NYZ, all of it really balances out and i love that.

Then there is also the fked up obsessive love that LTG has for RRY, and the drama shows that you can still recover from that (we are ignoring ep 37 here), it shows that you can still move on from that and grow from there- you may not necessarily forget them and that is okay.

Episode 26, 36 "my master is the only woman I'll ever love."

Then theres also the love for the country, embodied by how LTG and YY entered a loveless marriage for the sake of their countries (ep 37), and for the sake of protecting what their loved ones are fighting (and died) for.

It is also, arguably, shown by how Qian Zhao died to save the King's life for the sake of maintaining peace in Wu, even though his entire objective was to kill the King.

Another thing I really liked was the emphasis they gave to Yang Ying's relationships, her attempts at finding love and the way they validate her feelings about it- she had just realised how much of a scumbag Zheng Qingyun is, eventually moved on to slowly having feelings for Yuan Lu, but entered a political marriage with Li Tongguang in the end- and she's still so young.

"As long as you gave a clear conscience, even if a woman has only loved one person, or loved multiple people in her life, she still deserves respect"

(Lastly, there's Yu Shisan who's like. the embodiment of love in this drama- not just because of his flirtatious nature, but its in those small scenes that really shows how deeply he loves.

There's the start of the show, where he volunteers to take the punishment in Yang Ying's steed (ep 6),

then there's the episode where NYZ clarifies to Ruyi that it's because YSS is too worried that he is acting indifferent (ep 8). Then there's all the scenes where he periodically checks up on NYZ (ep 10, 31, etc), his concern for Ruyi putting all her eggs in one basket (ep 20ish), the talk between him and JMN where she admits that YSS treated her well (ep 30).

And then there's his death. There's this wonderful post that has been haunting me for months. How do you save Yu Shisan, when half the people he loves is dead? How do you save him when, even if he survives, would not allow himself the love that he gives away so freely? (see: first half of episode 39)).

Just know that this show has me feral over it's brilliant writing. They got me from the very beginning when they portrayed NYZ's emotional intelligence and acceptance of RRY and his consideration for her. (and when they introduced Yuan Lu. I went: that's my blorbo from this show).

CLONE HIGH (2023) EP. 8 SPOILERS

Okay, I know I’m opening up myself to a bunch of arguing but like... We need to have a talk. I should preface this by saying I’m not a die hard fan of Clone High. I only caved into watching the original series a few days before the reboot dropped despite hearing about it for years. I think they’re both good but I have my problems with both.

But I wanna talk about Topher Bus, a Christopher Columbus clone in a Gen Z world. He’s kind of taken over the role of Ghandi as Abe’s best friend in the revival, since the creators don’t want to bring him back unless they know they’re gonna be able to make more seasons. He hasn’t had a lot of screen time or development because the abundance of characters in this version. However, him becoming somewhat close with Abe has resulted in some fans shipping them.

So imagine their surprise when Topher tries to blackmail (or white leverage) Abe at the end of the final episode because he is attracted to Joan as well. I’ve seen so many people actually get angry about this. Many found themselves disappointed that Topher wasn’t straight or that he’d do something so terrible to Abe.

To which I say... Why would you expect anything else from this guy?

Topher’s whole thing was that he was an asshole who tried way too hard to convince people he’s progressive or an ally or “woke”, a term he unironically uses. He goes on and on about how he’s looking out for poc and women because he’s just trying to survive in a world that has flat out rejected his clone father.

“But he has a ‘Everyone is Welcome Here’ rainbow flag in his room!” Yeah, he does. He also has a co-exist poster, too. Good for him. Except there’s also a poster that says “Not a paid activist”. It’s a front! That’s the point!

“But he keeps trying to drill it into everyone’s heads that he’s straight, like a closeted person!” Yes, he does. But it’s not just closeted people who do that. I went to a Catholic school and I also live in the real world. I’ve seen dudes be afraid to drink tea or hug because it might make them look “gay” or “feminine” or whatever bullshit.

“The way he said he liked Joan and white women in general was so exaggerated that he must be forcing himself to say it!” This is Clone High! Everything in this show is so exaggerated. From the very beginning, it’s been a parody of teen satires. It was created by the duo that would go on to make Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 21 Jump Street and The LEGO Movie. This is their style.

“The episode would have been better if he blackmailed Abe into not confessing to Joan because he had a crush on Abe.” So you’re saying you would have liked the episode more if Topher had gone “Abe, the reason I almost got you molested by a teacher was because I’m in love with you”? I need you to realize how fucked that is.

Topher is a weasly little shit who tries to convince everyone how progressive he is when he’s actually a total asshole. That was the point. Y’all thinking he was in love with Abe or that he had Abe’s best intentions at heart just means that it worked. You took the bait. I’m not saying shipping Tophabe would be immoral (okay maybe after the whole statutory rape thing but that’s just for right now). There’s a solid chance that their friendship could be salvaged after this. I certainly never thought I’d ship Cleo with anyone but know she and Frida are my OTP. But you gotta stop pretending that this character is someone he isn’t.

I might delete this because I’m just trying to get my feelings out. I’m not calling anyone stupid or whiny just because they got upset by the new episodes. (Shoutout to my boy, @warcrimetime. Sorry they took JoanFK from you so soon). This is just another case of me getting annoyed by people calling queerbait just because a ship didn’t become canon and me getting everything out of my system. (But also, if Joan does see Topher’s blackmail and her reaction is anger at Abe and not “HOLY SHIT YOU WERE MOLESTED?!” then that would actually be legit bad writing).

TL;DR:

Although, maybe I’m just not upset because I got Kahlopatra and you guys lost your OTP and I just don’t understand, I dunno.

I've been trying to get an idea of the timeline in s2. Big caveat before I share my thoughts: s1 had a very loose timeline, too, and I think trying to figure out exactly how many days pass between seasons is a waste of time because this show is powered by vibes. But here's what I'm thinking!

Episode 1 is our baseline - we don't know much time has passed exactly between seasons, but it's enough for Ed to break Ned Low's record and for Stede and co. to get settled in at the republic. I think episode 1 most likely takes place over several days - Stede's section does not clearly establish anything, and Ed says "we've got a record to break" right after he shoots Izzy, meaning the record is not yet broken during that scene.

Episode 2 most likely takes place right after ep 1, at least on Stede's side of the equation - Stede acts surprised about the wake-up call on Zheng Yi Sao's ship and they're all newly assigned roles; it's clearly their first day. I would buy it, however, if Ed's story has a few days between ep 1 and ep 2 - Izzy's leg might have needed some time to start rotting, and it would give some extra time for things to get dire for Ed's crew before the Red Flag finds them if their ep 2 events took place a few days before our timelines catch up.

Episode 3 isn't clear; there's been enough time for Stede and co. to get settled in with Zheng Yi Sao and enough time for Ed's crew to need to resort to hunting seagulls. It's probably not a lot of time; it's likely they didn't have many rations to start with (given they hadn't been returning to land) and it wasn't enough time for Ed to actually die of his injuries.

Ep 4 is easy, immediately after ep 3.

Ep 5 seems like it takes place immediately after ep 4, but personally I like to think there's another day in between. That would give Stede time to talk to the crew and figure out their conditions for Ed's probation and for Stede to write and make Ed memorize that little apology speech (Ed clearly didn't come up with that, Stede is mouthing along and Ed fumbles the safe space ship line). I also like to think Ed gets a day to nap and recover from his many concussions.

Ep 6 is the hard one. Lucius and Pete tell everyone they got engaged during this episode, but I honestly think that's just because there wasn't an episode in-between. Many people have talked about how it feels like there should have been an episode between 5 and 6, and I agree - I think it probably would've started with a "time is passing" montage like s1e6 did. In any case, enough time has passed for Ed to get out of probation (which he and Stede specifically agree would take more than a day in ep 5) and make good progress towards re-earning the crew's trust. The crew are much more comfortable with him in ep 6 and we know things have been calm enough the crew are feeling kinda bored. Personally I think it makes the most sense for there to be at least a week between 5 and 6.

After that, 7 and 8 are easy; they take place immediately after 6 and directly follow each other.

So, depending on how you interpret things, s2 could all take place in about a week or it could take place over a couple weeks. I lean towards the latter; I'd believe anything under about a month.

One thing that makes me lean towards a longer timeline is Ed's makeup. He's got a bruised cheek and a split lip following the mutiny, and given that this show likes to hand-wave injuries when they're not plot-relevant and TV shows don't usually waste time on makeup just for fun, I think that serves two purposes. First, and most importantly, it's a visible reminder Ed survived a suicide attempt not long ago, he's still in a fragile place. Secondly, it lets us know time is passing.

Ed looks like warmed-over shit in ep 3:

Still has visible bruises and a scabbed lip in ep 5:

And by ep 8 he's still got a faint bruise on his cheek but his lip has healed:

Again I know this show is hand-wavey with how injuries heal but I think the healing of Ed's injuries is an intentional enough sign that at least a week has passed between ep 3 and ep 8.

A delightful office romance about an ex-idol who joins cubical life only to find his new boss is his first love. Others boys are sniffing around too. Operative word being "sniffing" as much of this romance involves smell. With a snappy (sometimes even raunchy) script, enjoyable sides, a pretty as peaches cast, and descent chemistry this show made up for in style what it lacked in substance. I like fluff. I loved this. I smiled every moment I was watching. With tons of rewatch potential (especially the last few eps), my only caution is this is for fans of the BL genre only, I don’t think it’ll work for anyone else. 9/10

Feeling complex and drama llama?

I Feel You Linger in the Air

(Thailand grey, YT for some)

I truly loved this time travel romance. IFYLITA is an exquisite BL, from filming techniques to narrative framework (much like Until We Meet Again). Steeped in history and family drama it edges into lakorn (but no as much as To Sir With Love and with way less scenery chewing). This is an elegant and classy BL… from Thailand which normally doesn't even try for classy. The main couple (both as a pair and individuals) were excellent, particularly Bright (Yai) whose eye-work acting style is a personal favorite of mine. Pity about the ending. Oh it wasn’t that sad but it wasn’t good either. This show should easily have earned a 10 from me except that it fumbled the… erm… balls. Argh. Whatever. 9/10

Korea decided to remake, of all possible Thai BLs, Why RU? And that is exactly what we got: a short form, clean & pretty, slightly confusing, uneven chemistry, all the same tropes KBL that kind of cliff-noted the original but with none of the heat or complex relationship dynamics. I just … what world is this? Because it is BOTH bizarro land, and EXACTLY what I expected. How do I rate it? In the end I have to go back to simple questions: did I like it, would I rewatch it, and would I recommend it? Yes. Probably. And probably not. What the actual hell? 8/10

Feeling dark and complex?

Tokyo in April is AKA Shigatsu no Tokyo wa

Two young men with a shared tragic past reunite and fall in love all over again, but the past will not stop hunting them. Based on a manga, this office set reunion romance is GREAT… damn it. It’s Japan in full on soft focus which means it gets emo, abusive, and chewy. These two characters are giving parts of their souls away in a desperate attempt to shape themselves to the expectations they have of each other. Japan gave us the Bed Friends that Thailand could never even imagine. But here’s the thing: I don’t enjoy my BL this heavy and cutting. I know that for The 8th Sense crowd this is peak BL and I can’t argue with the fact that the romantic devotion, domesticity, script, and acting IS all on point. It’s just not my personal preference for that point to be so damn sharp. I appreciate that this being 2023 I have the luxury of consistent quality (especially from Japan) and thus the ability to say… I acknowledge that this SHOULD get a 9/10 but I can’t emotionally go higher than 8/10

This show was an interesting take on the "ghost boyfriend" trope. About a boy who is tormented by hearing the dead, except when he is around one other boy - desperation+proximity = love. Unfortunately, the story was erratic and waffled about. While the leads turned in solid performances and the sappy domesticity was off the charts, it never really had the strength of the narrative convictions such a strong concept should have supplied. Highly rewatchable and enjoyable for that sappy domesticity but not a whole lot more. Still I always give extra credit for the diabetes-inducing sugar content and rewatch capacity. 8/10

My Personal Weatherman AKA Taikan Yoho

(Japan Gaga)

I liked it a lot and it's classic yaoi of the kind that really only works from Japan. Basically: boys who fell in love in college end up living together but both are so repressed they actually don't realize they're in love. It's higher heat from Japan and well done, but it leaned into the "why don't they just talk for fuck's sake?" trope which is only exacerbated into undiluted frustration by the fact that they're already fucking. It's good, but watching requires more patience than usual, even from Japan. 8/10

Feeling sweet and earnest?

Sing My Crush

(Korea iQIYI)

This a cute coming of age drama around music and 2 kinds of self acceptance and actualization journeys. This was basically Korea’s version of About Youth, and was perhaps a bit too soft and ungrounded by comparison, like a marshmallow sculpture. Sweet but somewhat lacking in discernible flavor. 8/10

Kingdom Ep. 6 Sports Festival

Summary: The sports day is here! Disclaimer: I´m finally done after it cost me half of the day. I´m not happy withthe end as it is now but i will still share it because i really like the rest of it.

“Annyeooong!” Jisoo shouted and waved cutely at the camera. She got out of the car, waiting for the boys to join her.

May 2021

[One day under the warm sunlight, the spring has come for Kingdom]

Felix came up behind her, took her had as to not lose the smallest member and together they went towards the sports field.

Most of the groups were already there, only missing The Boyz and MC Max Changmin.

Changbin sat down under the MC tent with ATEEZ`s Wooyoung and BtoB Eungkwang as they got chosen to comment games that took place in the morning.

It didn´t take long for everyone to finally arrive at the site and the day to start.

“Everyone are you ready?” Changmin shouted towards the groups, receiving an enthusiastic yes from the participants.

“Then we will have Team A enter now. BTOB, Stray Kids,ATEEZ, please enter the field.”

While the groups entered the field, the 3 chosen MC´s introduce their own members.

“Most of the athletes in this team have various sports experience… Oh, is that so?” Changbin said, looking very confused as he read the cue sheet in front of him.

[We have 3 sporting events. Vault jump, catch the balloon by the tail, and the sports fest highlight, a relay race.]

“The first event is the vault jump where we can see the team members jumping skills. After every round of jumping, one block will be added to the vault, Starting with 1,70m!” MC Changmin explained.

The first group to go was SF9, where 4 out of 8 members managed the jump.

“Oh but they are all so tall!” Jisoo wondered out loud.

[SF9 average height 181,5 cm. Conclusion = tall idols]

Next up were ATEEZ.

“WOO-OPPA FIGHTING!”

“They did good!” sending finger hearts to the ATEEZ table

3rd to jump were The Boyz. The Boyz did well but as soon as it was Kevins turn to jump, Jisoo found her vision blocked.

Minho had reached over to hold his hand over the girls eyes when the boy jumping suddenly started twerking.

Then it was Stray Kids´s turn.

They walked over to the vault, Jisoo running ahead of them standing next to it.

She looked up at it gave the camera a deadpan look.

“So cute!”-ATEEZ Hongjoong

“Today we are the Stawberry Kids!” Han exclaimed, ripping her out of her stupor.

“Strawberry Kids?” she laughed and jogged over to her members.

After practicing for a moment, Changbin started as first to jump.

“Dwaeki Fighting!”

Watching her member run towards the vault gave her a bad feeling and just in that moment the feeling proved to be correct. Changbin jumped and hit his –you know- at the vault corner.

The girl put her hand over her eyes, crossed her legs in sympathy and tried to hide her laugh.

I.n decided to jump past the vault, making the member drag him from the mat.

Lee Know also struggled to get over it but managed in the second try.

Jisoo put her hand over her hand, breathing out slowly. This was getting a little embarrassing and they had to change that now!

With Felix going next, finally one of them succeded at the first try.

“YES LIXIE!” the girl cheered for the Aussie.

Seungmin, Chan and Han also managed the jump, making Jisoo going last.

Jisoo hesitated. This was not something she anticipated. Again she walked over and stood next to the vault, while looking at the other Team´s.

“God made me small because he didn’t want me up there! Why would you want me there?” she shouted and stomped her foot.

“DON`T BE A CHICKEN, BAMBI-AH!!!” came Wooyoungs voice from the MC stand.

“I will get you!” she threatened as she heard what the boy said.

Her members started cheering when the noticed her hesitation.

“You can do it Soo-ah!”

“Fighting!”

“Make me proud Bambi!”

“Noona let´s go.²

Getting ready to start with her members cheers, the female made her way to the start.

“Jisoo, going for it!”

She ran, jumped, flew and stood like a tree on the mat.

Surprised by herself, the girl looked at her members who were already pulling her into a celebrating hug.

After IKon and BTOB´s turn the second round started.

This time with the vault at 1,80m.

From SF9, 3 members managed to jump.

All The Boyz members managed the jump, which made Jisoo clap enthusiastically.

She stood up and wolf whistled for them, making them laugh.

ATEEZ were down to 3 after Yeosang and Hongjoong were out.

“Oh captain, my captain!!!”

[Cool metaphor but YOUR captain? 0_0]

Hongjoong, who had also hit the corner of the vault came over with the rest of ATEEZ.

“Are you okay?” Jisoo asked seriously, making Hongjoong smile.

“Yeah, but 10 cm make a huge difference!”

“Don´t say that! I got even more scared just now!” she whined cutely.

“No,no you got this!” the Captain told her and sat down.

Seungmin went first but failed. His butt caught on the vault, while Felix, Lee Know, Han and Chan all managed to pass.

“Aigoo, is it my turn already?”

[Will Jisoo pass the 1,80m jump?]

Again Jisoo managed to jump over the vault but stumbled a bit during the landing. She fell on her knees and rubbed them soothingly.

“Good job Soo-ah!” Her leader said and pulled her towards him.

[Woah. The smallest can jump that high? Amazing!]

Another 10cm were added, making the jump now 1,90m high.

Jisoo watched carefully while everyone jumped. In the end SF9 and IKon each had 1 member left, The Boyz had 6, ATEEZ was left with 3, BTOB still with 2 and Stray Kids with 4.

While her members had managed to jump over it, Jisoo landed on top of the vault.

She did a quick hair flip and blew a kiss towards the camera.

[Looking cute up there but how are you going to get down?]

The girl looked down. Her eyes widened as she realized she had to jump down again.

Her eyes found Changbins and held her armas out like a toddler wanting to get picked up. The older quickly got up from his seat and ran over to his little sister.

The vault got raise 5 more times, ending at 2,40m with Chan and BTOB Minhyuk still going.

“Kangaroo, Kangaroo, Kangaroo!” the girl cheered for her leader and gave him a 2 enthusiastic finger hearts which he pretended to catch, pressing them to his chest.

In the end the jumping ended with a tie between the two of them.

“Now we finished the vault jumping this morning. Did you all have a good time?” MC Changmin asked, receiving cheers from the groups.

“Then for all who have worked so hard we have prepared delicious food.”Eunkwang continued.

[Wait for us after lunch!]

“Now that the afternoon activity’s have began, I have a new set of MC´s with me! IKon Yunhyeong and SF9 Inseong! Before we start, all of you have taken a vote after lunch. It´s time to see what you were voting for!”

Earlier

“We have to vote? All of a sudden?” Jisoo asked as they approached the board standing on the side of the field.

“Aren´t these the pictures we had to take this morning?” came the next question from Lee Know.

[Yes, all of you took a selca after arriving this morning]

[Who is the visual King?]

“Oh, I want to go home!” Chan exclaimed after reading the cue card on the table.

“We have to vote who´s the prettiest? Can we vote for more then one person cause i´m out of my depth here?” the girl questioned and looked at the staff.

In her head she could already see the headlines of a dating scandal looming over her.

[No you can´t, but you can vote for yourself]

“But I can´t vote for myself. That´s just not okay. Who even would do that?”

“Jisung-ah would.” Her leader mentioned and pointed to their ACE making him snort.

[Who are you voting for Jisoo-ssi?]

“Well I could vote for myself but I don´t think that´s right!”

[Changbin-ssi did!]

“Oh he did? Aish Oppa!”

[So who are you voting for?]

“Ahhh what do I do? All of them are so handsome? I think I will go with Minhyuk sunbaenim! He´s so charismatic on stage and truly a sight to behold!”

“We have the results right here with us! But I´d like to say even if Stray Kids Jisoo-ssi was not an option to be picked as Visual KING, she is still our Visual Queen without even having to vote for her.”

The female blushed as she heard the MC´s talk about her that way. She hid her face and bowed deeply, thanking them for the kindness.

After the vote ended, Felix got picked as second place only with BTOB Minhyuk having more votes than him.

[Now the competition between MayFly and The I9 continues]

“Out of Safety reasons the PD-nims have decided to play the next game without Jisoo-ssi. They are scared she will finish you all!” Inseong announced giggling.

[No catch the ballon for the Queen!]

Jisoo had to laugh to at the prospect of her having the much strength and endurance. She was a bit sad that she wasn´t allowed to play but seeing as all of the participants were boys whore were at least 5 inches taller than her, it might not be the worst idea MNet had!

“KINGDOM FIGHTING!” she shouted instead for everyone to hear.

The game ended very quickly with Team Mayfly winning and San´s cardigan being very worn out!

[R.I.P Cardigan. You will be missed!]

Only the relay race was left for the day and the runners were called to get to their positions.

Jisoo got up and went to the second team to run. (Replacing Felix in the race!)

The girl received the baton from Han, who was coming in as fourth runner, and started running.

Seonghwa managed to run passed her shortly after but she managed to get her place as fourth back and also pass by SF9´s runner.

Making her 3rd in total before she had to give the baton to Seungmin who was already waiting for her.

The race was finished with ATEEZ placing first and Stray Kids second.

Mayfly managed to win the Sports festival, collecting 1200 points for their team and with a group photo this day of filming ended.

Why do you think we don't ever hear of sightings of Jikook out together "ALONE" anymore? Like lately when JK goes out, he is alone or with friends, but never JM & same with JM. There use to be sightings of them all the time. Ice Skating, Movies, Shopping, just standing randomly at a busstop. The last time we know of was White Day, but they still were not alone. I'm not trying to debunk Jikook & I'm not insecure. I guess puzzled is a better word, considering how inseparable they seem in Memories.

And Anon 2 from the opposite side of the spectrum here:

Thinking Jikook are going to be spotted out together publicly sope, Namjoon & Hobi, Hobi & Jimin + how they are with their other friends at other concerts is incredibly unrealistic. They’ve got a image to portray for one, that they aren’t THAT close and two they’re together all the time at “home” why would they go out to a concert together or football game or a museum date. They’re gonna choose less public occasions like the white day dinner with their shared friends that people only knew about because someone took a picture. They didn’t sign anything to make people aware. We wouldn’t of known that hopeminkook went out together with HER until Hobi shared it with us. We don’t KNOW.

I had like 8 anons over this topic asking or throwing fits over the same thing anon 1 is asking about. And I've seen this Same ask being tossed around to other jikook blogs as well. So I deleted most of them, blocked the gross ones and decided I would actually answer this question. And bare with me anon if you actually care to know what I think and aren't just here sowing discourse. Because it'll be a longer post. And some of it aligns with anon number 2. And almost all of it comes back to my favorite phrase to throw at my insecure/other shipper anons. Object permanence.

Again, bare with me. If I forget a "date" I'm working off memory here. So ya know, keep in mind that I, too, am only human.

I think a lot of people struggling with lack of content must mean lack of contact (for jikook). And that's simply not true. But people fall into the pitfalls, especially when they haven't been here since 2013, of seeing content all at once and then being greeted with no content. Or slowed down content, and then they panic. They used to be SPOTTED OUT ALL THE TIME they must just never see each other anymore. Well, let's ACTUALLY look at all those times, and all those dates, shall we?

2014, Jimin and Jungkook go out on a chicken dinner "date." They were never spotted by fans. The only reason we know they spent this time off work, off camera, hanging out, is because Jimin posted about it in his blog. Photo captioned: “for dinner, we ate some delicious chicken~~~ jungkookah, hyung likes chickennnn ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ give me one don’t shove it in my mouth you punk!!!!”

May 2016, again Jikook had a spicy chicken dinner "date" alone, and weren't spotted. The only reason we know about it is because Jimin again, shared it with us. If he didn't share, we would never know. The "before" video too. JK decided to stay up late and hang out/eat with Jimin even though he originally planned to sleep instead. Also in August 2016, fans spotted Jikook out walking in the streets together, JK walking with a bike. When they noticed they got spotted by fans the fan said Jimin "hailed a taxi and they ran away together"

In 2017, when they were given free time by the company, everyone went off to do their own thing and jikook went bowling together. Not spotted by fans, but it was shared in Burn the Stage Ep 5.

In October 2017, they were spotted in Toyko together several times. Which they then also posted about and then never shut up about lol

January 2018, jikook watching the first snow together. Alone. Again, we only know about it because they shared it with us. Not that they were spotted.

February 2018, Jikook went out to dinner and an escape room with Sungwoon, the day after valentines day. Jimin came home early from a Japan schedule right before this too. Left their autograph and was spotted by fans

Summer of 2018, Jikook were spotted seperated from the rest of the members and camera crews before they left Malta hitting up a few stores and going shopping together. They also took the boat back out to watch the red moon together after dropping all the rest of the members back off.

Also summer of 2018, Jungkook told us about how he hung out with Jimin over the break and did bowling and went out for Karaoke. They weren't spotted. We wouldn't otherwise know. And they've mentioned going to do Karaoke together multiple times as well as bowling together many times. And again, summer of 2018, they were spotted by a non army (other kpop stan) standing outside together hanging out at around 1 am.

October 2018, Jikook were spotted by an ARMY riding the bus and they were out alone shopping together.

November 2018, Jikook flew in with the rest of BTS from Japan and then immediately took off on their own and went to dinner as well as then went ice skating and were spotted out together as well as the restaurant sharing an autograph.

In 2019, while in Paris they went shopping together and were spotted by fans. While in London they went out to eat, to see the London Eye and London Bridge with Jimins friends. And in LA they were spotted seeing Avengers End Game together and afterwards went out to dinner together. JK later talked about it at a fansign and they posted a video in the car together coming home. They also stayed late at a concert for a bit when the members had all already left the staging area to watch the fireworks together. Not spotted by ARMY but shared by themselves. In 2019 as well. Jk confirmed that over the break the only members he saw at all were Jimin and Hobi. Not spotted once by fans, but they still spent time together even during all of Jimins traveling around the world.

In 2020, they were rumored to have been spotted at a convenience store together. As well as in September, Jimin confirming they spent the night together.

In 2021, they shared a vminkook trip to the beach, where the Above photo was shared. No one spotted them, but it still happened. As well as in 2021 they shared about how they were practically stuck like glue through the entire time they were in LA (Nov - Dec 2021). Including how they walked together everyday and worked out together everyday. JK Visited Jimins rooms and hung out there all day. And months later, a fan (who happened to be a tkkr since 2014) shared a video of jikook walking into her gym in LA at 3 am to workout alone together. Basically confirming a fan sighting and confirming everything they shared in that vlive as well too. As well as in 2021 (September) they were spotted getting pre travel covid tests done at the same clinic together.

In March 2022, they were spotted by fans out to eat during White Day with a friend, maybe more at a lowkey restaurant. JK also that year shared how when he got out of covid quarantine that he went to Jimins room and got a hug. As well as yoonminkook and staff all went out to eat after the concert in Vegas in 2022, where the waiter who served jikook kept talking about how excited he was to have served jikook, where they sat together at their own table during their closed down restaurant party with drinking and everyone singing lol

So. Out of 10 years of being together as a band. Jikook have been spotted out together by fans approximately 14 times. If we add a few of the others that I included here (which doesn't even scratch the surface of all the times they've shown us how they are always together) that brings us to 25 times they were together that we know of off camera. And again, there is TONS more as well as staff commenting about how jikook are inseparable and literally always together and comments from the two of them about how much time they spend together, etc. You had 3 of those times (2 being a spotted by fans and 1 being told by JK) happen in 2022. And it's technically not even September yet. When in other years, the most frequent year of fan sightings was 2018, in which there were 7 times. And 4 of those times were shared with us by jikook themselves not random spotting. And 4 sightings spread across an entire 12 months, is not THAT much if you actually think about it for the other years to be a drastic decrease like people are saying.

It seems like so much because it is. There is no other BTS duo that has been caught hanging out by fans nearly as much or as often. Nor have any duo told us about hanging out off work/off camera nearly as much or as often. They do, it happens, but not as frequently as our stuck like glue duo. So from 2013 to 2022, there were at least 14 fan sightings of jikook. BUT You recongize that spread over the years, that's a lot of fucking time in between sightings, yes? Good. Glad we are on the same page. I also hope you recongize that during all these years where we got anywhere from zero to 7 jikook sightings of "dates" out and about, they were also being spotted doing things individually as well. Like getting food, going shopping, going on bike rides, seeing concerts. As well as doing those things together with other friends/members and individually with other friends/members. None of that detracts from how often and how close they are. And how they are constantly together. Choosing to spend so much of their free time together. And everytime people lose their minds about it, they make a comment about being "stuck like glue" over that time period.

It's a pattern, and the Rollercoaster of Insecurity has to be as exhausting for everyone else as it is for me. Why be puzzled when it's clear how much time they spend together. Especially when you saw people claiming they grew distant in 2021 (just like they are doing now) and memories proved how they literally were always together and they didn't even know the meaning of the word distance. People need to relax and I'm tired of repeating myself. 😭😅

Anyway. I hope this helped at least a few people recognize that this is just a pattern repeating itself again. And that you get bogged down by content and then confused when content slows down. But Jimin and JK have lives outside of content, which includes their relationship together. And lack of content, does not mean lack of contact between them.
