everyone stfu rn — black!inumaki headcanons, right? now imagine him communicating in soul food instead of japanese cuisine. i have a new list for him. us niggas must follow said list.
Tumblr media
greens — okay/or his way of agreeing or affirming.
canned greens — its like “okaaay…” but more disappointing; it gives “ight nigga…”
okra — no/or his way of disagreeing or disapproving.
macaroni — him expressing uncertainty; the tone and context varies.
banana pudding — this depends on context. it could express excitement or apprehension. either way he may or may not be attempting to quickly grab someone’s attention.
sweet potato — him expressing genuine satisfaction; this is less in an excitable way and more-so content.
chitlins — sorta like a curse word; aahhh CHITLINS (like shit or fuck; normally expresses defeat, shock, or annoyance, but could be humorous on some occasions).
chicken — look out/keep an eye out; this could mean in a literal sense or simply “stay safe” or “walk good”, but in that context he would likely utilize “fried chicken”.
potato salad — are you alright/you good? … usually in a concerned tone.
candy, yams? — “nigga, what?” (LMFAOOOOOO).
watermelon — i’m fond of you/i love you. if he says “watermelon seed”, he’s likely expressing it in a more romantic sense rather an a casual, platonic sense.
& fufu — fufu is a LAUGH! like fufuufufufuu; it’s how he giggles!
Tumblr media
i’m still coming up with more; y’all come help me. feel free to reblog/comment ideas, or perhaps make your own hcs based on your own cultural foods <3.

Mirah Sekar & Marisa Nakumura and their sweet children 🥀 🩸
Both ladies are ex’s of Suguru Geto but also mothers to his children. Both met one day and decided to form their own little support system together. From there on they set up playdates for their children Melati, Shinichirou and Imani. It warms their hearts knowing how well their children bond together and see each other as family despite the bizarre circumstances. Both ladies came to an agreement that their father definitely deserves an ass whoopin for secretly meeting his kids behind their backs. Geto fumbled bad for choosing to make a cult over these two lovely ladies.
Gift to my moot who is not just a Geto enjoyer but an Apothecary Diaries fan too which is the screenshots I used here🤭
Mirah Sekar & Melati Geto belong to @/ohseaaah on instagram
Marisa Nakumura, Shinichirou & Imani Geto belong to me✨
Tumblr media
Bonus of the ladies jumping his ass for luring the kids way thinking there will be no repercussions.

I keep having this Y/N character ideas!
Imagine being born in the Inumaki clan but like a cousin of Tuna Mayo. Your ability is the the cursed voice, you can speak like a normal person but once you add melody into it the curse activates! You have the mark of snake eyes on the neck and it's a little big? Two eyes on each side of the neck and a slit line in the middle.
Draft cursed name: Cursed Pipe/Cursed Chorus/Cursed Melody
Ability description: If any ears comes in contact with your melody it blocks the enemies ability to hear, like a loud ringing and immobilizes them from using any cursed ability. Maybe even slow them down in combat?
Distance: it depends on how loud you sing.
Weakpoints: I'm thinking the same as Inumaki, the more you sing loudly the more it takes a toll on your body.
Also you can't just sing like lyrics you'd have to sing like in a melody like Opera.
Enemies can also wear ear muffs and covering the ears could work? But as long as they hear a single melody out of you...their ears are dead.
Character personality: I think the character should be reserved and a little forgetful since the ability is too sing for example when you have Ariana Grande's voice you'd sing everyday right?
The character would too but she gets scolded a lot or gets a warning look from Toge cause it kills his ears or ruins practice around the school.
I'm imagining Gojo would give this character headphones to meditate on music but ends up regretting it.
Tumblr media
Note: I honestly don't know if a character like this exist in JJK since I don't have the guts to watch season 2 yettt I HATE HEARTBREAKS but yeah you can use this idea! I would love to see a drawn OC version of her or him and If you don't mind crediting me with the skill idea that would be super! ❤️❤️❤️

Out on the track at Jujutsu High was Itadori, Fushiguro, and Kugisaki all amuck for their training. Fushiguro and Itadori were running around the track as Kugisaki timed them, yelling out laps left or to just run faster. The sun beat down with no remorse on their forms, training more grueling than normal. The only breaks were when the puffy white clouds hid the sun's slowly setting rays. "You guys can run faster! This is pathetic! Sun'll be down soon!" The three were unaware of what had happened just an hour ago, that three unusual kids were now on the school's property receiving help.
"Oh shut up!" Itadori called back as he ran past her, breathing hard.
Coming down the stairs was an older student, Panda, who'd been asked to retrieve the three of them. For a few seconds he watched them run about, yelling profanities about who was faster or stronger. But eventually when Kugisaki noticed Panda waiting and not joining in, she called the two boys over.
"Hey Panda!" Itadori waved, hands on his knees as he breathed hard.
"Gojo wants us all to meet. Suppose something's come up."
"Oh? What?"
"I don't know. Let's go find out." Panda exclaimed, "Maki's been in a weird mood since she got back and won't talk about and well Inumaki.. you know."
"Was it a higher grade curse than they were expecting?" Kugisaki asked.
"Don't think so, but they brought people back with them I know that much."
The three younger sorcerers exchanged looks as Panda was already heading up the stairs. The confusion in the air was then heavy. Today had been a day like any other until Maki and Inumaki were called away, though Inumaki was the one requested and Gojo thought it was a good idea for Maki to join. It wasn't often, as of late, for them to be called altogether like this.
When they arrived where Gojo waited, they found him pacing an empty classroom. It was a rare sight to not see him lounged out on a chair with a carefree demeanor going on rants about something. Instead his right hand was continously raking through his hair as if he was trying to desperately remember something.
The students stood watching their teacher for many minutes before it was like he even realized they were there.
"So everyone, we have some extra visitors today." Gojo then began to ramble, "We really need to think of a way to figure out if civilians have wandered into an area during an exorcism.. it's a relief no one died honestly. I'm still confused myself and if I have to report to the higher ups, I can't look like an idiot."
"Who are they?" Kugisaki asked as she wasn't there to witness what happened, "and what do you mean? They just wandered in?"
"No idea," Gojo shrugged, "I still want to know what happened," he peered at Inumaki and Maki, the two who sat in the corner of the room dejectedly.
Maki took a deep breath, "it was a weak curse, very weak. But we could hear crying, figured it was the curse trying to do something I don't know. However, as I attacked that was when I saw them. A girl in front of two others. They were gravely injured and then they weren't..."
"How were they suddenly not injured?"
"Well, she uh, appeared to heal her friends." Maki stated bluntly knowing she'd have to since Inumaki couldn't, "probably has lots of cursed energy... Don't think she knew what she was doing."
"Shake," the cursed speech user agreed.
"Well I would like to meet her," Panda said
"So would I," Gojo agreed with a smile, "don't let her leave."
"Doubt she will while her friends are being checked out by Shoko."
"I'm sure Shoko is fascinated by her." Maki mumbled, "didn't even look like she had a hard time with.. whatever she did."
"Panda, let's go ask her." Gojo said casually as began to leave the students in the room, "sure she'd love to meet a talking panda."
"As they left, Maki called out after them, "that girl who healed her friends- her energy feels weird!"
Gojo just raised his hand in a waving dismissive motion, nothing he couldn't handle. Which made Maki grimace with a huff.
Gojo was fascinated when Maki had come running to find him going on about their job not going smoothly as civilians were there, that Inumaki went to go find Shoko as Ijichi had them in the car. He'd hardly listened as she explained about the curse or the kids- until she said one of the girls literally made a glowing light around her friends and they were healed. As good as new.
"Think she's someone who should enroll?" Panda asked, they always needed new faces.
"Maybe. Probably. Could use someone that can just make us healthy on command," he chuckled, "hopefully she didn't stray from where she was asked to sit still..."
The two sorcerers found Keiko meek against the large trees and buildings around where she sat. She looked dejected with her deep breaths trying to stay calm, hair and clothes with clumps of dried blood. Her hands shook softly as she continued to smooth out her uniform skirt like it was a tick for her nerves and discomfort. Panda hoped the young girl was okay, he knew it was hard for people to discover they had 'powers' and everything they knew was different. He also hoped Gojo wouldn't freak her out too much.
Keiko sat on the edge of the deck outside the building where Aki was inside. Her eyebrows seemed to be in a permanent downcast as her thoughts were wild trying to comprehend everything she witnessed and did. Chills ran down her body as she thought back to the monster with all the little ones attached, all the teeth.. the two people who stopped it- it happened too fast. And then in her dismay she'd felt a warmth come over her and a soft yellow, sparkling glow came over Aki and Kaito.. all their gashes and marks disappeared... how did that happen? When she'd awoken on in an unknown area with unfamiliar surroundings she was in a panic. Everything felt jumbled in her head as she tried to place it all.
The woman who was in the room when she awoke was named Shoko Ieiri, the supposed doctor. She explained to her she was attacked and that she was at a place called Jujutsu High. Ironic. Keiko was only able to get glances of Aki and Kaito laid out on two beds i separate room; alive and breathing but asleep.
"Are you okay?"
Keiko jumped in her spot as she turned to the voice that came from out of nowhere surprising her. In one motion it felt like a record scratch in her mind as her eyes widened at the sight of... a panda. "What?"
Next to the very large panda was a man in purple with a blindfold on and white hair. These 'people' were all so strange she'd come to realize as she watched everyone to past by her at one point.
"Hi Miss uh- we'll do introductions in a little bit.", Gojo started talking, "Welcome to Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, or as we like to call it- Jujutsu High. Though I think most people think we're a temple up here."
Through her bloodshot, tear stained eyes Keiko stared at the blindfolded man with an incredulous look. Her mouth itching to fall open as he murmured about something that just didn't seem important right now, "yeah I know."
"Oh good. So you know about curses, cursed energy, cursed spirits-"
"You mean the... ghosts?" her voice felt hoarse as she'd sobbed for what felt like forever where she currently sat. None of what was going on now was the welcome she expected, nothing was being explained to her.
"Uhh not quite." he deadpanned, she had no idea, "Here we train jujutsu sorcerers to exorcise curses, work as an HQ or any alumni or student can stay here or.. so forth. Make sense?"
Keiko apprehensively nodded,
"I'm faculty here, my name's Gojo Satoru, and this is Panda. You've already seen two other of my students; Zenin Maki and Inumaki Toge. They were the ones who saved you from a curse."
"I'm Keiko." she responded quietly. She didn't know where to look when Gojo talked as it wasn't possible to make eye contact. And she didn't want to stare at Panda..
"Just Keiko? Okay we'll that's fine. Do you know what you did back there?"
"Err, no. One second they uh, were hurt and the next second they were healed." Keiko grimaced as the images flashed in front of her in a flash, making her heart jump. The paralyzing emotions she felt before started to return as her breathing turned ragged and she turned away from them so they couldn't see her face. Her vision became misted as she focused on the deep brown wood she sat upon. The two sorcerer's didn't speak right away, but as Gojo went to open his mouth a figure that'd been listening in stepped forward-
"- Let's not harass the poor girl, she's in shock." Shoko Ieiri stood with her hands on her hips, staring down Gojo, "I would like to talk to her."
Gojo held his hands up in the air as if he meant no harm, nodding as he turned, "You got it Doc. See you around Keiko,"
An annoyed look came over Keiko's face- he was interesting.
-
Keiko had tears in her eyes as she was overwhelmed staring at the school grounds. A deep purple invaded the late night sky and the trees casted dark shadows on the ground, it was eerie. She listened to the wind wail through the shifting leaves trying to have something else to focus on. Now that she'd calm down from an overload of information she was able to truly take in where she was. The school was beautiful; tucked away in the trees and mountains outside the city, built in old Japanese architecture style like a buddhist temple. This was probably the farthest she's been from the city and her estate, in a way it was invigorating. She involuntarily smiled as she ran her fingers through her long dark locks as she did feel a big difference in her mood-
They were going to be okay. Aki and Kaito. When Shoko came out and said she found nothing wrong with them after further testing, Keiko felt nothing but relief.
Being lost in her unending thoughts, she didn't notice the footsteps approaching her,
"Konbu."
Keiko spun around at the sound of someone's voice. That must have been Inumaki Toge, the boy Panda told her about, that he only spoke in ingredients. The one who saved her life earlier as she recognized him. Seeing him brought her back to watching/hearing him simply say a command- causing the curse to explode.
"Um hi, Inumaki?" Keiko didn't know what to say as she wiped her tears away, especially to someone who couldn't converse properly. He had pale blonde hair that was slightly in his pretty violet eyes. His uniform partially covered his face, which confused her even though she knew his mouth had an importance to him.
He nodded.
"Thank you for earlier, I really appreciate it. So much. And uh, I'm sorry I can't understand you... I-I, can't imagine how hard it is not to be able to converse.."
Inumaki felt himself involuntarily nod again to show he understood what she was saying through her rambles; his lips had a soft upturn by hearing her kind words towards him- a stranger. It wasn't surprising she knew, Panda would help him out by explaining to people when he didn't have the capacity to.
He approached her with caution, as he could easily read her anxieties and fears with everything from today. At one point he was just as confused and scared as she was.. Looking at her, he thought she was beautiful, but he could only remember how scared she was as she tried to shield the two others from the cursed spirits. It was a brave but stupid thing to do; but it was exactly what he would do if he were in her place and it were anyone at Jujutsu High.
Even feet away from her he realized she wasn't cursed... per say, that much was obvious. But he felt a soft glow coming from her as he got closer and closer so he could grab her hand. Nothing about her felt dangerous as even the strange aura made him feel invited. To him she felt cold against the warm summer night air; with the contact of their skin alit a flame, a shock that made them lock eyes for long seconds before he spoke,
"Takana." Inumaki reached into one of his pockets and took out a small pink object, placing it into her tinier hand. It's a piece of candy wrapped in pink with the words 'sweet'.
"Thank you," she said meekly, feeling overwhelming emotion taking the candy and putting it in her pocket. Today had been too much for her. Her heart was still a racing mess, still trying to come back from the stress she'd been under. Keiko tried to give him a smile to show she'd be fine, it was clear he was worried from the glint in his eyes. "I don't really understand all that's going on... or what it is you can do or what I can do. But I appreciate the kindness— and earlier I- they wouldn't be alive if it weren't for you guys."
Inumaki rested a hand on her shoulder, "sujiko,"
Keiko watched curiously as with his other hand pulled out a cellphone from his pocket and began to type away.
He held up the phone with the notes page open-
'I'm sorry this happened to you and your friends, try not to worry they'll be okay now because of you.. not just us. But I'm just glad we could help too before it got worse.'
Keiko somberly smiled at him, "Thank you, again. It's been a real pleasure."
"Shake."
She had no idea what he meant by that, but she assumed it was something along the lines of same or agree.
Inumaki, unknown to her, normally seemed distant to anyone just meeting him. Intimidating. Mysterious. But she was getting to see his caring side right off the bat as he felt he had a duty towards her from saving her life. He didn't want anything to happen as his heart strings tugged at him hard seeing her tear stained face.
The two stood under the newly night sky, the stars glittering down on them. It was the first time Keiko let out a genuine laugh as she talked to him, him writing down his responses to show her. It was the first time in hours she felt a bit of normalcy and for that she was grateful for him.
After a few minutes 'conversing' with Inumaki, Gojo reappeared informing her she'd be taken home.
"What do you mean taken home?"
"Best thing is for you to get some sleep. We'll be in contact." Gojo said in a dismissive tone.
"Where's Aki and Kaito? I'll leave when they leave."
Panic returned in Keiko's chest, a pit forming in her stomach. She could feel a tight build-up of frustration in her body as she couldn't understand how this man could make her leave without her friends. Supposedly they were fine, so she should be with them! She couldn't feel it, but the two sorcerers could- a change in her energy that felt powerful.
She didn't notice their exchange; Gojo sending a look (order) towards Inumaki which he seemed reluctant to follow, but nodded.
Feeling the hand of Inumaki on her shoulder, the last thing she heard was- "Sleep."

*Preview* Back At It Again (upcoming 'Another Level' installment)
Update: POSTED
Tumblr media
“Tuna tuna.”
“Huh?” Yuuji asked.
His face fell when Toge just stared at him blankly as he watched Rinko’s double kick him in the back of the head.
“Bonito.”
“I don’t know what that means!” Yuuji exclaimed as he dodged another punch.
“It means,” Rinko said through her double, grinning when Yuuji looked startled. “That you need to pay better attention.”
Yuuji froze, his head turning to stare at Rinko and then her double, and then back. Toge’s leg came up and almost caught her double’s shoulder, but it dodged out of the way. He hissed in frustration as he turned to look at her.
“Caviar!” he called, scowling when she grinned as her double continued fighting Yuuji. “Tuna mayo.”
“I am not cheating,” she called back, laughing when he rolled his eyes.

I spent quite awhile on him, still haven't figured out his cursed technique (fully) yet, but everything else is done ~ (*´∇`)ノ
Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shiro Sakai (he/him)
17y.o 2nd year at Jujutsu High (Kyoto branch)
2nd grade sorcerer
Cursed technique : Copy, He can manipulate certain elements (ex. Fire) by touching it directly and combining it with cursed energy to attack. This however, does not make him immune to that element (he'll still get burned if touching fire, etc?)

Now that I'm back home and ocxcanon week's drawings are all done, I can continue with all my pending drawings!
From a while back, I took requests from this post prompts. I told my friends they could ask me directly for some too, and here's 2 of those!
On the left, there's @tisafinedayforsimping 's OC Mayuko and Inumaki.
On the right there's @kokone12 's OC Lain and Riddle.
It was pure coincidence that they both asked for the same prompt "squishing their cheeks" xDD
That's all, hope you like them~

Ma Cherie ❤︎₊ ⊹
Chapter vi: Absence
Pairing: Inuokku/ F! Oc
Summary: the loss of someone in your life can be hard to navigate around, even more so when a relationship had only recently blossomed.
Length: 3.02k
A/N: hey y’all, i know it’s been a long time since i posted and that partially because things kept on popping up and i kinda forgot this fic even existed lol. I’m really sorry guys, I know it’s a short chapter, but i’ve had a lot of stuff going on this week and was unable to really sit down and write. Luckily my finals are now officially over, so i’ll have more time to write. I’m currently writing the next chapter, so that’ll be out sooner rather than later—if I remember to post lol.
Ma Cherie Masterlist
While it’s only been three months out of the eight scheduled months of Yuta’s time abroad, Toge is going insane. He misses Yuta’s warmth, his reassurance, love, and his ability to understand Kanae in ways that he is unable to — even after all these years. The two still text and FaceTime regularly, but it’s not the same. Kanae helps to ease the pain, but their relationship had been so new when he left, it pains them both. In the days before Yuta left, Kanae scheduled them full of random date ideas, but this did nothing to slow the flow of tears at the airport as Yuta left for Africa with Miguel.
Kanae, like her beloved, is losing her sanity. Don’t get her wrong, she loves Toge — she would’ve figured a way around the marriage if this wasn’t the case — but Yuta’s a breath of fresh air. A breath the young couple both desired and consumed to the fullest.
The dynamic between the two hadn’t necessarily been awkward once Yuta left, but after spending nearly every waking moment with someone, the relationship molds itself to have the other in it all the time. Yuta leaving made them reform their relationship for the fifth time. At first it had been kanaeandtoge and yuta, then it became kanaeandtogeandyuta. It was still the three of them, but with newfound distance they had been unprepared for.
One of the ways the trio compromised with the thousands of miles of useless space was many calls, texts, photos, and videos. This led to Kanae ‘asking’ her adoptive dad to upgrade her phone plan to accommodate the plethora of content growing in her phone.
“Toru-nii, I changed my storage plan. I got 2TB.”
“What?”
“It’s an extra forty dollars, so just a warning.”
“… Okay?”
“You’re paying for it.”
“When am I not paying for something?”
“ ‘Kay, thanks!”
With the accompanying spare time of one less person to be with, Kanae has been filling her days evolving her cursed technique, working on her friendship with her older brother, preparing Megumi for the dorms-
“I’m an empty nester!”
“You’re literally my teacher.”
“Kanae-Chan and Megumi-Chan are abandoning me!”
“We’re still seeing you everyday, Toru-nii.”
“Oh, I can still hear their voices haunting me. Dear Fates, what have I done to have been handed such a cruel deal in life?” (This can be applied to many situations in JJK, and frankly, it hurts).
Megumi grumbled before shuffling towards his warden, who’s on his knees in fake hysterics, and placed a gentle hand on Gojo’s head. No infinity stopping him. Kanae smiled softly and walked over to her small family. She wrapped her arms around her boys tightly.
-which has been fun. He got a room the hall over from his adoring, darling, dearest sister. However, this does little to thwart Kanae appearing at random. She felt it was her sisterly duty to materialize from thin air and either claim a spot in his room and play with his shikigami or would request his assistance.
Toge and Kanae had more time together than they’ve had in a while, but that did little to squash the ache in their chest for the absence of Yuta. Their beds were bigger and colder. Their rooms were more barren, and their days more boring. There wasn’t anyone else besides the two of them for a long time then they found another, only for them to leave and it hurt far more than they anticipated.
Toge and Kanae had been togeandkanae for as long as they could remember; promised to each other at the ripe ages of three and four. Even though they never considered an addition to their love, Yuta wormed his way into their hearts and lives before leaving soon after. They didn’t know what to do, they didn’t know how to function.
Yuta wasn’t there to hang out with Megumi and make Kanae’s heart soar beyond belief. Yuta wasn’t there to get the things that the two of them couldn’t reach because they were both fairly short. Yuta wasn’t there to help ease the pain of Toge’s sore throat. Yuta wasn’t there to help on the days where Kanae could hardly get out of bed, so wracked with guilt and despair that the very thought of leaving the world hidden away beneath her covers was impossible.
Some times Kanae’s glad that he isn’t there, to be honest. She already feels bad enough that everyone has to see her on the days where everything is too much and she just wants to fade from this life and wait for the next one. After Yuta left, it got too much to handle. One less person to distract herself by giving every possible ounce of affection and adoration she could. Kanae tried to keep it to herself and deal with it in the early hours of the morning and the late hours of the night, but this did little to stop her melt down.
She became erratic during training, sloppy running drills, and has less self preservation. Kanae didn’t mean for any of this to happen, at least she doesn’t think so. She doesn’t want to die. She wants to grow all gross and wrinkly with her friends, family and lovers. She really does. However, in the hours where everything is still, in the hours where she has time to feel and remember, she can’t help but hurt.
—————
One day on a job with Noritoshi, everything came to a head. She lost control for the first time in a very long time. Her older brother, who had never seen this happen, did the only thing he could and called his teacher. Utahime arrived to see the siblings covered in blood, all the curses had been slaughtered and laid dismembered around them. Noritoshi held his little sister as tightly as he could as she sat quietly. Utahime, who also had never seen the girl like this, did the only thing she could and called Gojo.
“Ah Utahime, to what do I owe the pleasure-“
“Kamo-san, she’s… she’s…” The rustling of fabric and small voices in protests could be heard on the other end.
“What about my daughter? Did she get hurt under your watch? Where are you?” Gojo’s voice becoming that of a stern one laced with desperation gave Utahime whiplash.
“She’s not hurt, in fact I don’t think anything even touched her-”
“Spit it out.”
“She’s dripping in blood and there’s carcasses scattered everywhere, Gojo. Is there something I need to know?”
“I will be there soon. Call me again if there are any spikes in cursed energy.” Before Utahime could respond, the line clicked and an annoying jingle could be heard. The teacher and student watched as Kanae slowly blinked and reached into her skirt pocket, pulling out her phone.
Obviously it’s the one that came out just a few days ago, only the best for Gojo’s little girl.
“Dad.” The two strained their ears to hear the other end of the conversation, the girl rarely refers to Gojo as her dad around others.
“No, I’m not hurt.”
“No, it’s not my blood.”
“Yes, I’m with Nori-nii now.”
“I’ll see you soon.” Utahime wondered just how often this child has seen tragedy befall others for her to still be able to converse while being so clearly not okay. It’s a thought that made her uncomfortable, so she removed it from her mind to contemplate at a later date.
Like so many others.
Gojo arrived soon after and strode straight towards Kanae. Noritoshi hesitantly handed her to him. Gojo pulls her taught to his chest and cradles her as he used to when they were younger. A time that felt so long ago. Kanae curled her hand into his clothes and cried. This made even more weight fall heavily on Satoru’s heart.
(Kanae is a girl who cries often, this is true. She cries when: she watches a sad movie or show, when she reads a sad book, when she sees something adorable, when she’s angry, when she laughs hard enough, when she’s on her period, and occasionally when she shits. Despite this, she doesn’t typically cry when others think she should. Kanae has days where most can predict her tears, and most of the time they’re correct, but those are only a handful of days. Her family and friends have familiarized themselves with these dates and plan everything they can around it. She cries on her birthday, Christmas Eve, mid November, and her fallen loved one’s death days. Unfortunately, Kanae will soon not know life without tear stained cheeks and red eyes. She will survive, for better or for worse we do not know, but not without a trail of immense pain that will try to drown her at every turn).
“My sweet, baby girl. You’re safe. I’m here,” he murmurs softly for Kanae’s ears only. However, the silence that surrounds them allows the others to hear. Noritoshi feels slightly envious that Kanae’s father is so warm. He quickly banishes the thought, remembering some of the things she has had to endure to get the loving family she so rightfully deserves.
Satoru slowly turned and began to walk, not before turning back into his ‘strongest’ facade and looking at the other two.
“I don’t need to worry about a report on this.” This is not a question, nor is it a request. He stated it as an absolute, an indisputable fact such as the sky being blue or him being able to kill them without so much as lifting an arm. Utahime nodded quickly, so Noritoshi followed suit.
The father and daughter make their exit, letting Utahime finally ask questions.
“Kanae is in so much pain and I don’t think I will ever know just how deeply she has been hurting.”
This was the only information Noritoshi was willing to divulge to his elder. Utahime pats her student on the back, sighing, before getting back up.
“We will not breathe a word of this to anyone, not even your classmates or your father. Do you understand?” Noritoshi nodded his head.
“Yes, sensei.”
Kanae had spent the remainder of the day at home, in the luxurious penthouse Gojo had bought for their growing family. Her room, like the one at school, is covered with many different things. The only difference is that these things are far more personal and bittersweet than the ones at her dorm. Mementos of special occasions and intimate reminders of those she lost. It even smells of the past, of a time where all she knew was her mothers death, Suguru’s downfall, and the warmth of those close to her.
Rumor has it that Miguel spent hours either restraining or pleading Yuta to stay with him in Africa rather than be at his girlfriend's side. Toge is the person who ultimately convinced him to not come home. As much as he wanted him to, it would have only led to an extension of his time abroad.
———————
It’s not a very apparent thing, her pain. Only to those who know her well enough. So when she, and the rest of her classmates, gets summoned away for a mission and leaves her brother on his own, she’s fine. However, when she gets a call where all she can hear is her little brother wracked with sobs, she is far from okay. Her first thought is that Satoru is dead, which is quickly proven wrong when Ijichi pulls up with a message from him. She rushes to pile her necessities from the hotel which they were staying at and hurriedly gives her friends a goodbye and Toge a kiss on the cheek. Maki wouldn’t let her leave until she promised to give her a text when she got back to school and another text later that night.
Megumi, to put it gently, is a complete and utter wreck. He has snot dripping down his nose onto, and most likely into, his mouth. His eyes are puffy and his soft, porcelain skin has become red. Kanae desperately wants to whip out her phone and take a picture in order to blackmail him at a later date, but her first priority is to make sure her brother is okay, which he clearly isn’t.
“ ‘Gumi-” He practically launches himself through the air and into his big sister’s arms, seeking any comfort he can.
“He-he’s gone, nee-san! He’s gone!” Kanae’s brows furrow. “Who’s gone, ‘gumi?”
“Itadori!” Kanae’s eyes widen slightly, she has heard of the boy and how remarkable he is from her dad and brother. She didn’t think that Sukuna would have let his vessel die so soon, but she pushes the logic away from her mind for the moment. Megumi comes first, all else comes second.
“Oh, ‘gumi.” Megumi’s voice cracks repeatedly as his cries become louder. They might have only known each other for a small period of time, but Itadori clearly made a long lasting impression on her brother.
“He left me, Kanae!” Kanae's heart aches with the remnants of her brother’s. She cradles him in her arms through the tears, even when he tires himself out from crying. Satoru arrives later in the night, noticeably distraught. He watches silently from the entrance of the room as Kanae and Megumi curl tightly around each other in his room. Satoru gently closes the door behind him and slips off his shoes, moving quietly towards the bed, wiggling his way behind his kids. He moves them closer to him and holds them tightly to his body.
The next day, after a little bit more crying, Kanae is introduced to Kugisaki Nobara, a sweet, headstrong girl. The two get along splendidly and the older of the two listens dutifully as Nobara speaks of Itadori. Even though she calls him an idiot, moron, and dumbass, Kanae knows that his death has rocked her deeply.
Later she questions Satoru about the incident, and his answers are vague at best.
“You’ll be very upset with me when you find out the truth.” Kanae sighs before placing a hand on his arm.
“You’re our dad, so I trust you blindly, but please think of Megumi in your choices.” Satoru has a solemn look on his face when she says this.
“I’m doing the smartest thing I can, I’m trying to keep everyone safe.” Kanae hums softly.
“So he is alive?” Satoru looks at his daughter, a slight twitch in his expression is all it takes for Kanae to know she’s correct. Sometimes Satoru can forget just how brilliant his daughter is.
“If you think it’s best to keep it quiet, I’ll follow your lead, but if I find out otherwise I’m telling them.” He nods. “I’d expect nothing less.”
Two days later, The other second years make the journey home while Kanae is in a meeting with the higher ups. An awful, boring, useless meeting. They desire to make  her feel small and worthless, and above all else try to make her feel weak and Kanae hates feeling weak. She knows full well she can kill them. She knows her place above them, Satoru and Suguru had made sure of it, but that does little to help her when all they do is berate her and piss her off.
“For the last time, I don’t know anything about the circumstances of Itadori Yuji’s death, I can only assume it was during a mission. No, I have never met him. All second years have been on a mission for the past couple of weeks. Yes, I arrived home earlier than my peers to comfort Fushiguro after receiving news of his state. Should I find out that you had a hand in the death of an innocent child and our only way of stopping Sukuna, I will gladly let you know of my stance on the matter. However, I can save you the time and remind you who raised me. Now, I excuse myself from this unnecessary meeting.” Gojo is, of course, right outside the door when she steps out.
“That’s my girl.” Kanae smiles at him and walks with him to the car. The two play hand games in the back seat and make their way towards the school. When Kanae steps out of the car, she looks at Gojo to follow, but he doesn’t exit.
“I have a job, but I’ll come see you when I’m done. Keep an eye on Megumi?” Kanae frowns, but nods nonetheless. “Of course.”
She closes the car door with a slightly harder than necessary shove and walks up the stairs towards the entrance of the school.
“Wait… someone did die?” Kanae immediately recognizes her best friend's voice and hurriedly walks over.
“I told you in my text, or did you not read it?” Maki looks over her shoulder and rests her arm on Kanae. “I skimmed it.” Kanae scoffs, “Rude.” Maki shoves her playfully.
“Kam-“
“Kanae”
“Kanae-san, are you friends with this girl?” Kanae looks at Nobara and nods.
“They’re my classmates. Don’t mind Maki, she didn’t mean to appear insensitive. Well at least, I don’t think she meant to.” Maki swats at the girl. She feels her fiancé’s hand intertwining itself with her own and she can’t help but smile. Nobara clearly sees this exchange due to the now grossed out expression on her face. Kanae just smiles sweetly at her and can hear Megumi gag faintly. She subtly sticks her tongue at the demon spawn.
In the future, Kanae will look back on this memory with fondness. In the future she will weep at the thought of how her brother once was and the fading remnants of Megumi in her mind. She will mourn her short lived friends, the impact they had on her with the small amount of time she had with them. She will think of the plethora of ‘what ifs’ that continuously plague her mind. Kanae will remember the final moments of her childhood and innocence with that lingering bitterness that follows nostalgia.
In the future Kanae will have one single wish of having that Time Turner from Harry Potter her Suguru would read to her as a small child.

Twin Dad Geto 🖤✨
Marisa ended up pregnant shortly after trying to hunt him down for an explanation on his actions after she returned from overseas. It was unknown to her that she was ever expecting until her last trimester, apparently it was a cryptic pregnancy. Since 19 she ended up raising the two on her own while still tackling getting her PhD, and in the end she was able to manage. But in 2017 when they are about 5 or so, Geto shows up declaring war and the kids are thrilled to meet their dad. So he decides to take them (without permission) for a day out with the girls knowing full well he won’t get this chance again. He felt bad not knowing about this and now knowing the love of his life had to do this all in her own. Marisa was livid about everything but shocked the children even knew he was their dad, after all she never told them about Geto. I wonder how they found out? (Gojo told them most likely 🙄)
Saw this new anime called Mr Villain’s day off and this scene here screams Geto and his babies🥹.

good morning or good evening, ✨️
here is my real first post of the year 2023, don't judge me, I suck at making sets and this kind of format. 😅
As many know, Midori is of European descent, when she was 7 years old at a meeting of exorcists in Japan. Midori's parents witness a crime organized by renegades (ex-exorcist degraded and hunted for their misdeeds). As Midori's parents attempt to flee, they lose control of the car after seeing a figure on the road and crash into a tree.
in this story below, Midori is having nightmares. Although 18 years have passed, Midori has only regained part of her memory, and every night she has the same nightmare where she sees this monstrous figure again.
I didn't know how to end the story, basically I wanted to make Midori jump into Gojo's arms (yes he's the one waking her up) but I couldn't do the scenes, so I did it like this . I hope not to disappoint too much.
please don't let this message slip, it took me so long to do this. 🥺❤️

Keiko was awoken by the tiny, rough tongue of Jelly licking her cheek, with soft mewls crying for her. With a soft groan she swatted at her cat for him to leave her be, she'd barely gotten any sleep last night. The first moments of waking up were bliss, she was stretching out and pulling her blankets back over her. But not after long, her eyes shot open as everything came rushing back. She sat up in a panic and looked around her room to realize somehow she was in her room until her eyes landed on the clock. 1:05PM. "Fuck," no wonder Jelly woke her up.
It was hard for her to swallow, felt like something was stuck in her chest as she came to her senses. Oh no. Where was Aki? Kaito? How did she even end up back in her bed? Her mind felt foggy as she tried to remember- and she couldn't. All that came to her was the monster attacking them, a bright yellow light from her hands, and then sorcerers. Keiko sat up, placing her hands over her eyes as her breaths turned started to hyperventilation, heart racing. Breathe. In. Out.
She began to sniffle. A feeling of despair gnawed at her as she tried to remember everything that happened yesterday. Trying to help Kaito wasn't supposed to lead to any of that.
A softness rubbing against her tore her thoughts away from yesterday and down to where her cat nuzzled himself into her.
"Hi baby," she cooed, picking Jelly up and cradling him to her chest. For once he didn't struggle, "yesterday was bad... I'm lucky to be alive."
Lucky to be alive. Her own words sent shivers down her spine as the gravity of it all came crashing down. As quick as her and Aki joked about getting to the bottom of her ghosts and family, they quite literally got thrown in the middle of one part of their 'investigation'. Over and over the young girl cursed herself for being so dumb, for putting them in danger. The one time she grew a pair it almost got them killed. Remorse slowly took over her panic as tears welled in her eyes, one getting free as it trickled down to her mouth. Keiko had no idea how long she was asleep for, but she didn't feel rested. A dull ache took over her head as she did her best to stifle her cries that soon turned into soft hiccups of pure sorrow.
The soft meows of Jelly made her smile through her tears as she bitterly laughed at how pathetic she must look. With a deep shaky breath, Keiko moved Salem off of her and went to stand up. Her body was meet with the chill of AC, her bare feet cold against the hardwood. She hugged her body with her arms as she stood glancing around her room feeling like an ant stuck somewhere new. The milk white walls of her bedroom adorned by pastel pictures, decorations- felt like they'd enclose in on her any second. Her hands shook by her side as she sucked in a deep breath,
Something was out of place that caught her attention from the corner of her eye.
A note. Keiko instantly grabbed the pink paper off her night stand and began to read it,
Sorry about having Inumaki put you to sleep, you got a little freaked out. Whenever you get up, head outside and a member of our faculty will bring you back,
-Gojo
ps, I didn't have paper so I used some of yours hope you don't mind
Her eyes scanned over the note multiple times before she could recollect it all. Jujutsu High. The place Aki talked about, which somehow they managed to end up at not even twenty-four hours later. Slowly the names and faces of the sorcerers she met came back to her as well. At first she'd just thought it was all a bad dream when she remembered.. as it was what it felt like. Sorcerers. But in fact it was all real and maybe now she could get answers. "Shit", she mumbled remembering she didn't know if Aki and Kaito were still there. She stumbled for her phone, which was plugged in right in its usual spot, immediately bringing up her texts between her and her best friend-
1:16 pm
KEIKO: AKI pick up
After a new minutes there was still no response, it made Keiko's heart pound even as her brain fought to remind her they were all safe. She wanted a response to have confirmation though. However, reading that note helped curve the gnawing, the itch at the back of her head that kept telling her she was forgetting something. The main thing that weighed her down was now gone and the note from Gojo helped to relieve it.
A few more minutes of staring at her texts passed before Keiko finally gained the strength to move to her bathroom.
Grabbing clothes from her dresser and closet, she felt like a zombie following routine as she entered her ensuite bathroom. At first glance in the mirror, she saw an exhausted girl with dark eye bags staring back. Her hair was oily and flat past her shoulders, even her skin looked like it had a sick tint to it. Keiko sighed at the site of herself as she began to take her clothes off to shower.
Warm water cascaded against her smooth skin feeling blissful and allowing her to relax. Showers were a way for her to decompress, to escape her constant over thinking and paranoia. She felt like she could be in heaven for a few long minutes before having to face what she had to do today. But she knew that it wouldn't last as she was learning the hard way in the last twenty-four hours. She wondered how much things were going to change for her.
It didn't take her long to leave the bathroom once she turned off the water. She jumped around as she finished drying her hair and browsed through her makeup. Ankle socks, a skirt and cute button up adorned her body as she soon scrambled to find a light cardigan. Her hair was down her back slightly damp against her clothes as she was putting on her stan smith's then going to grab her designer purse.
When she finally worked up the courage to leave her room, Keiko felt like there was an extra barrier she had to get through. Her bedroom was a place she could feel safe, it was light and welcoming, a fun girly aesthetic she adored. It had personal touches and bright colors, in order but also lived in. A great contrast to the mansion. The estate had everything perfectly in order, perfectly clean, and dreary. The perfect place to feel like a prisoner.
With a sharp breath, Keiko willed her herself to move with soft footsteps echoing in the lonely hall. As she continued to walk down corridors and down a grand staircase, she'd passed only one person- the new maid whom she shot a smile towards. Nobody besides Aki knew that Keiko being able to leave the estate by herself this easily had never been a thing. Someone always watching. But now Keiko could grasp the large doors to the outside world with her own fingers and pull them open. Freedom. Fresh air.
At the bottom of the stairs up to the doors was a black car off to the right. It was a car she'd never seen before but she assumed who it belonged to.
As she descended, a lanky man with brown hair and glasses stepped out of the driver's side.
"Hello Keiko, my names Ijichi and I work for Jujutsu High. I'll be taking you back— if that's okay."
-
The drive out to Jujutsu High felt long. Keiko stared out the window watching all the scenery go by as they drove into thicker trees and mountains. She hadn't remembered any of this yesterday, but that was understandable. No wonder nobody knew of this place, it was so hidden and as buildings came into view- she didn't even think that was the school. Whoever told her their guise as a buddhist temple wasn't lying that it was a good one. It was effortlessly beautiful with the old temple like buildings, the statues and lamps, and greenery that helped lead them in that showed their age.. she felt herself with a soft awe in the place. Sun fought to stream through the leaves as it left pockets of yellow on the ground.
Ijichi hadn't spoken on their drive, instead he watched the young girl carefully, "beautiful right?"
"It is. Do all the sorcerers live here?"
"Some. There's other... schools, in the country as well. Most work independently though."
The car came to a stop and Ijichi was instantly out and walking to her side to open the door for her, "hopefully your visit today will be kinder than yesterdays."
"Thanks," she smiled at him.
The few steps forward that she took, she instantly felt transported to another place. The air was cooler with all the shade as she walked besides Ijichi, looking around at everything she could. There was a stillness around her that made her footsteps on leaves and stones echo around her. Groups of hydrangea blended into the shrubbery but bringing pops of color to the stoned paths.
Standing past the break in trees and lamps was a familiar sight. Inumaki. He was dressed in the same purple uniform as his hair blew lightly in the wind. Even from her distance she could feel his piercing eyes on her body. Her heart pounded as her and Ijichi got closer to, she was actually excited to see him.
Keiko smiled as they reached Inumaki.
"Gojo wants to talk to you, figured you could use some familiar company in the mean time." Ijichi explained as he took his leave, "I'll let him know you're here, he got distracted while waiting."
Without another word Ijichi left the two to their own devices. Keiko and Inumaki stared at the other with small sparks in their eyes, flushes of pink coming to their cheeks.
"Konbu," he said softly.
"Hi, how are you?"
"Shake," his voice was so kind, it felt like music to her ears.
"I'm glad you're here. I don't really know anyone else enough..." her voice faded as she wasn't sure why she got so open so quick, they didn't know one another at all.
"Tuna tuna," he reached his arm out to guide her. She assumed he wanted her attention in one way or another. It was a little odd for her to hear someone say onigiri ingredients as speech.
She assumed Inumaki was taking her to wherever Gojo was, to wait. But she wondered if he volunteered to be the one tor got stuck with her. However, those thoughts soon left as she was in awe once more by the sights of the school. Inumaki watched her with curious eyes as she was light on her feet looking around. She seemed happy. Or at least in great contrast to how she was prior. He liked the way her dark hair swayed in the wind, blowing into her face along with the amazed look on her face.
The pair stopped when they reached what Keiko assumed to be a main building of the grounds. She continued to peer around until she felt a soft tapping on her arm. Inumaki was staring at her with eyes that appeared to want her attention, he cocked his head towards the stairs. Keiko was a little lost but she followed regardless. He had taken a seat on the bottom stair and tapped the spot next to him for her to sit, which she followed suit. A pit formed in her stomach as their sides touched and as her eyes wandered over the parts of his face that were visible.
Like he had yesterday, Inumaki took out his phone to type on it. The small bouts of anticipation that came with watching his fingers made her encapsulated in him.
'How are you doing?'
Keiko smiled from his concern for her, "I'm okay, I feel good knowing my friends are okay mainly, guess it's helped my stress. But feels like I'm going through a weird routine so I don't upset myself right now."
'That's good to hear... I think you'll be okay you seem strong'
"Think so?" she chuckled as she read his words over again, "Just was scared is all. I reacted."
'Like I said you're strong'
"Can I ask about your cursed speech thing?"
Keiko watched as Inumaki hesitated over the keyboard on his phone, slowly typing below his former responses, deleting, and then re-typing. Immediately she felt guilty asking about what must have been a personal ordeal.
'It's called the Snake and Fangs seal of my clan. I was born with it. I'm not sure how much you understand but I can infuse my words with cursed energy. It's why I don't speak and how I later discovered onigiri ingredients couldn't be be used with cursed energy.'
"Is that why when you said 'explode' that curse literally exploded?" Inumaki nodded, "wow. That's like really cool but, I can imagine it's hard.." her voice faded out. If only he could choose when the words had the cursed energy, that was a pity for him.
'Do you remember anything about what you did now? It was really interesting.' he typed quickly.
"I'm trying to remember. All I wanted was for them to live. And I guess I just made it happen." she shrugged, looking down at her hands, "Is that why I'm here?"
'Probably.' Inumaki could see the drop in her mood as he could practically see the gears turning in her head, he didn't want her to think too hard. He continued to type furiously, 'Why don't we talk about something else? You seem uncomfortable.'
"Yeah I wouldn't mind that," she chuckled feeling grateful at how perceptive he was, "do you live here full time? Do you guys like learn normal school things? Calculus? Bio?"
He laughed, and it surprised her as if she expected that to be something he couldn't do. She looked at him and involuntarily smiled as she saw his eyes crinkled at the side, boy was she curious about the lower half of his face.
'Nope, don't mind not learning math.' he paused before he continued typing as she stared at his screen, 'but yes I live here, when I'm not training or on a mission I do whatever I feel like, they're not really restrictive, but I'm also not a first year student.'
"How many students are here? How old are you? I just turned seventeen a little bit ago."
'Me and six others. One isn't around though. And I'm almost 19.’
"Oh, that's a lot smaller than I'd imagined. Guess it makes sense. Not everyone sees these curses, I've put together." Keiko sighed in dismay as she thought back to how alone she felt for years.
'I'm sorry you had to deal with that for this long. You're not alone with it now though. It's confusing seeing things others can't. Tell me a little about yourself?'
"Oh I don't know where to start with that one," Keiko shrugged, "I guess I was your everyday case of a kid with super strict, kinda crazy parents. I'm not kidding I've never left the general Tokyo area." Inumaki's eyes looked surprised at that, "right?" she giggled, "I don't mind school actually, enjoy being with my friend Aki, my cat- and oh I love shopping. Makeup, skincare, perfume, jewelry, clothes. All of it. Basic I guess."
'Not basic, that suits you if you enjoy it.' Inumaki really liked something about Keiko. He chalked it up to being he was one of the people to save her and the others. Maybe he felt like he had a duty to her and to help guide her on this new, scary path she'd have to go down. Inumaki knew she wouldn't get a choice, Gojo didn't let people walk away.
"You? What do you enjoy?"
'Watch a lot of Youtube videos in my free time, maybe read. Panda keeps telling me I should get into cooking'
"Cooking is fun! Sometimes because it's a lot of work in my opinion... But I can't get over that you guys have a panda.."
Inumaki laughed again then went back to typing, 'Panda's a cursed corpse, he's basically filled with cursed energy. Our principal made him with his cursed energy years ago I'm pretty sure'
"I'm not kidding, if I hadn't been in shock all of last night.. I definitely would have been more affected by a big talking panda."
"Shake," hearing his voice sounded at this point. She'd talk and he'd type (quickly too), so each time his smooth voice hit her ears it sounded like music.
"Hey would you um.. want to exchange numbers maybe? You've been so welcoming and it would be nice to have someone to contact.."
"Shake," under his high collar he smiled, thankful for the high fabric hiding his excitement.
"Here I'll just type my number out on your notes." Keiko typed out her number, "there you go, and thats for k-e-i-k-o," she finished with her name next to it.
Handing the phone back to him he nodded, unbeknownst to her, pink growing on his cheeks. Inumaki thought she was cute and it didn't help she was trying to make the effort to 'talk' with him- oh no. They shared a comfortable silence before Keiko's phone started going off.
At first she didn't feel the vibration in her purse as she'd been focused on the him that he had to point towards it. Her heart raced with an excitement needing it to be her friend, "oh sorry, I think it's Aki."
4:02 pm
AKI: heyyyy i can see ur alive! i'm confused as fuck
AKI: just woke up
KEIKO: yes but literally i'm also confused and worried
AKI: cool soooo my house like rn??
KEIKO: wait you got brought home too?
AKI: yeah... SUPER weird.
AKI: come over now
KEIKO: so funny story im back at the jujutsu high place.. so i'll come over after?
AKI: cool... make them tell you what the fuck is going on
KEIKO: i will try but their teacher is weird asf, also how are u feeling?
AKI: like normal it's crazy.. i remember you doing something tho. like i know i got hurt but i don't feel a thing
KEIKO: brb
AKI: oh?
Just as Keiko was able to get ahold of Aki, she was torn away from her phone by a voice she dreaded hearing. Gojo. He stood staring down at where she was with Inumaki, a big smile plastered on his face, which for some reason made her feel annoyed. She wanted to be with Aki right now so they could hold each other, cry this out, figure out where to go from here. Aki finally had to see everything Keiko had been burdened with all her life so she knew how hard it could be to comprehend it.
"Glad you could make it Keiko!" Not like she had any choice, "why don't you follow me?"
"Sure," Keiko sighed.
Keiko gave Inumaki a tiny wave goodbye as she followed Gojo into the building. A little flitter of tingles felt alive in her stomach as she left his view and a door closed completely shutting her off from him. Each step around an unfamilair corner before they got to an empty room with couches confused her as if it were a maze.
"Take a seat."
"Thanks." Keiko sat down and Gojo sat across from her. Keiko looked like another confused kid he's recruited over the years; looking around in awe and unable to make eye contact. But she also seemed like she just didn't want to be there.
"Feeling okay?" she nodded so he continued, "sorry to have to drag you out here so fast again, but I did lots of thinking last night and I need to get to the bottom of this before I have to talk to the higher-ups. And well, I'm curious Keiko, who are you?"
Keiko frowned, "my name's Hayashi Keiko and I'm in my final year of high school. That's all."
"Hayashi?" Gojo perked up at this, eyes quickly widened before she caught himself from showing a reaction, "you related to Jiro?"
"Yes..." she looked at him in an accusatory way, "how do you know my dad?"
"Dad, huh? That's interesting. Makes sense though. Do you not know your parents are jujutsu sorcerers?"
Keiko felt numb, "Uh," it made sense. Why they confirmed they could see the 'monsters' she could too and why she had no idea what they did for work, "I mean no but..."
"I don't know anything about your mom but your dad... he's one of my higher ups."
Confusion was overwhelming for the young girl. Why had this been hidden from her? Maybe they just wanted to protect her? Keiko felt her head begin to spin- or was it the room? The air felt thick as she took a sharp breath in and let it out shakily, "what do you want from me?"
"I want you to join Jujutsu High."
"No..." Keiko said bluntly, "I'm good."
Gojo hadn't been expecting such a harsh and immediate response, "why?"
"I already have my life, I'll be going to university soon."
"You should think about it. Keep doing what you want but people here can help you." a serious glint shown behind Gojo's sunglasses where she could see bits of light blue, "you should be careful at home, your dad specifically is my least favorite of all my bosses. He probably shouldn't even know we've met."
Keiko's nose scrunched up in distaste. For years she despised how her parents treated her, but they'd never done anything to harm her. They were now allowing her, as she was older, to go and live her life- maybe they just wanted her to learn strict morals. So Keiko didn't want to hear this. She couldn't even wrap her mind around her dad being such an important sorcerer.
Gojo continued to speak, but she wasn't listening. Something about her dad heading down a road that wasn't acceptable. How her mother would stand idly by. All lies.
She didn't want to hear any more of what Gojo had to say. Her head continued spinning and her legs felt weak as she made herself get up from the couch. She didn't believe Gojo received any explanation or answer from her as she ran from the room she felt as if she'd pass out. But Keiko didn't look back and ran down the semi-familiar halls that she thought she could navigate back to where Ijichi's car would be- even if it was quite the walk or run away, she didn't care.
When she finally pushed open the doors that lead her to outside where she came from, Inumaki was still seated right where she left him. At this point tears were welling in her eyes as she became overstimulated from yesterday and today- it was finally hitting her as her family was now involved. Inumaki jumped up and tried to head over to her as he saw the state she was in, "takana?" she just shook her head as she pushed past him and down the steps.
Keiko appreciated everything jujutsu high did for her and her friends, but she needed time away from all of this. She could sleep better at night knowing she wasn't alone and seeing ghosts- but now she'd always have Gojo's warning stuck in her mind. 'You should be careful at home.'
"Think I scared her?" Gojo said as he appeared in the doorway of the building looking down at Inumaki, watching Keiko walking off with Ijichi not far behind as he'd been waiting.
"Shake."
