I was looking for some ROTTMNT/TMNT2012 height chart reference for my crossover AU, but all of them had the heights messed up, so I said, "F*ck it, I'm going to make my own height chart"

So here it is, an actually accurate and scientifically made (I did an arduous research in google, twitter and Ninja Turtles pages) height chart.

Rise!Mikey is a smol bean.

2012!Mikey and 2012!Raph are not that far apart.

Rise!Raph is freaking hummongus, and he's still growing!

Rise!Leo is taller that Rise!Donnie.

2012!Donnie is as svelte and tall as his bo.

2012!Leo is actually quiet small.

I have a small head cannon that the real reason Rise!Raph isn’t as temperamental or a brooding as the other Raphs is because he can’t hide his real emotions well due to his “fear stink.”

Raphs tend to hide their emotions and lash out when they get to overwhelming which comes across as them always being angry when in reality they are most likely just scared or nervous or uncertain.

Rise!Raph doesn’t have the luxury of being able to hide his emotions so when he lashed out as a tot the “fear stink” let everyone know he was actually scared instead of angry.

Which means his brothers and Splinter could better identify when something was setting him off and try to fix it before it overwhelmed him.

Ok, 2012 x rise crossover shenanigans

-I feel like the donnies wouldn’t get along. They would just have a mutual understanding that they are above the rest. Like they were excited at first but not anymore. They have the same relationship as Dr Rockwell and Donnie in 2012 with less bickering

- rise Raph would big brother the SHIT outta 2012 Mikey. Stick 2012 raph in there to get jealous too

- Rise Donnie appreciates 2012 Leo’s silence

- the Leo’s are both traumatized, maybe Leon asks 2012 for advice

Look- all you all who says ‘12 Leo and Rise! Leo wouldn’t know what to make of each other;

That would be absolutely true until their respective love for Space Heroes and Jupiter Jim comes to light.

Suddenly they’re bonding over comics and dramatically shouting out one liners. This is when ‘12 Raph and Rise! Donnie start plotting their demises (and low key bonding because of it).

rise donnie is Like That bc hes a softshell turtle aka the turtle with the HIGHEST bloodlust lmao (personal hc of mine)

Every time he pulls out a weapon or does something mildly lethal and crazy I think of those Amazing World of Gumball episode with that turtle (a softshell turtle).

Also yes, I feel like he and 2012! Raph would often get into arguments with each other and then during a battle Donnie suggests lethal weapons and 2012! Raph is like “forget everything I said about you, you’re my new favorite!”

I’ve been working on a crossover fic for a while now, still have a ways to go, but I’m getting there. Still trying to figure out the plot and all, but I might be done with the first chapter by the end of August, give or take.

Rise/2012 crossover Headcanon: at the beginning, the 2012 gang didn't liked the Rise guys. Seeing them, they couldn't help but feel that their life was easy.

They had different difficulties, but in the end they had a united family, they still had Sensei who loved them even though they were a bunch of goofs, they were still innocent and happy teenagers, something they hadn't been in a long time, for which they couldn't help but feel resentment and jealousy of their happier counterparts.

Mikey was the first to bond with his counterpart by sharing their love for cooking.

Donatello found common ground with Don in their love of science and causing disasters with it.

Raphael had a little more trouble accepting his counterpart, but in the end he gave in to Raph, who helped him deal with his anger issues.

But Leonardo and Leo...

Ok so Rottmnt Donnie headcanon.

Because donnie is a softshell and he has a battle shell to protect himself,he gets fatigues on his shell cuz’ of how heavy the battle shell is.

So sometimes he would begin his day without them,and while the discomfort of the battle shell is gone. the fatigue is there.

And there’s where his fam comes into play. When Raph hugs him he puts a little of pressure on donnie’s shell,he isn’t pressing too hard to hurt don and he isn’t too loose.

Since I live for the Disaster Twins,Leo’s presence already calms donnie down, so he likes it when ‘Nardo leans on his softshell with his own shell. He puts pressure on it and calms him down.

Mikey is either giving Don a massage (don’t ask me how u massage a shell) or is hugging him from behind with his body pressing on donnie’s shell.

April also leans on his shell but not like Leo, cuz she does that thing where you put your elbow on someone’s shoulder or back. It still helps tho.

Now since Cass and Cj (Casey Junior) become part of the family, they need Don to trust them before getting his approval for letting them reduce his shell fatigue pain a bit.

First Cass, when he finally trusts her, she also leans on him either like Lee or April sometimes, depending on her mood.

After trusting Cj, The future boy always leaning his head on him, sometimes he does like Mikey but not by much, and it’s rare.

His dad is mostly on his back tho lol,still helps.

And since I love crossovers.

When 2012 first got stuck in the rise universe. (And getting used to everything),they were confused to find that the rise gang always on donnie’s shell whenever he doesn’t have his battle shell on,and why he isn’t bothered by it.

The moment they were giving the real reason by him is when 12!Donnie and him were working on a machine, and Mikey entered to ask something from Don, he hugged him and pressed his body on his shell while asking AND DON DIDN’T SEEM TO CARE.

12!Don was concerned because isn’t his shell supposed to be vulnerable??, And he asked his Rise!counterpart about it and he was told that pressure helps with his fatigue.

Now. After they got comfortable with each other, the 2012 crew help with that! : D

12!Donnie sometimes would put his hand on Don’s softshell with a little pressure while they work.

12Leo would do like 12!Donnnie or would massage his shell aswell.

12!Mikey either leans like April or hugs him from behind like Mikey.

12!Raph would lean on Donnie any other way tbh,as long as it gets him comfortable and it doesn’t hurt Don too much.

12!April and 12!Casey are together on this cuz..well they both don’t do it as much but when they do, they give light hearted nudges, he’s surprised it’s affective.

12!Splinter does also massages.

People talk about putting every Casey in a room together and watching the chaos, but you know what I want to see? Every Karai in a room together. It would be insane.

*Heavy breathing*

Okay. At first I wasn’t sure what to make of this but then I started thinking thoughts.

So the Karai’s I’m gonna include in this little hypothetical gathering are: 03!Karai, 2k12!Karai (as she is in her season 1 characterization, I know I know I really need to watch season two already 😅), Rise!Karai, and Bayverse!Karai.

So you know, boom! Suddenly all in a room together, definitely all of their first instinct is to start kicking ass and ask questions later, I’m not sure if there would be a decisive winner over all, but I think at a certain point the two more level headed Karai’s (03 and Rise) would halt the fight in order to actually assess what the hell is going on here.

Now, Bayverse!Karai unfortunately suffers from the same thing all the antagonists in the Bayverse movies suffer from, which is basically having no personality and just kind of existing as a shell of the character they’re portraying, but she does have a kind of cool punk aesthetic and as henchwomen go, she definitely knows how to roll with the punches no matter how weird they get. And since 12!Karai is also a bit of a punk, but just younger, and who also knows how to just accept when things get kinda weird, I feel like those two would form a weird sort of bond/alliance, since both of come from the arguably more “normal” or at least more strictly science-fiction based universes. I don’t know how far I would go to say if they would like each other but there’s definitely a bit of a “birds of a feather” thing going on. They’re kinda the slightly less interesting pair in this group.

03!Karai and Rise!Karai on the other hand…

These two are soooo diametrically opposed. It’s kind of funny that at first, being the two more level headed ones of the group and the ones to bring things to order that they would initially think of each other with a measure of respect but as soon as they get talking about the Shredder it’s all out the window. Cuz 03!Karai is firmly set in her belief in fulfilling her duty to her father because he raised her, in spite of his evil actions. Meanwhile Rise!Karai was willing to sacrifice herself to stop her father’s evil, in spite of the love she had for him as a daughter. 03!Karai would think of the other as a traitor to her family while Rise!Karai would condemn the other for her complicity in The Shredder’s evil. Like, they would just absolutely hate each other I think.

New TMNT crossover head cannon:

When I saw this I had a sudden flash-

Rottmnt Raph looks HAPPIEST when hauling his brothers around, especially if it’s just a casual thing around the lair.

I think any other version of Raph who sees this happening would immediately want to try it with his own bros. Deep down it would be because he sees how happy Rise Raph is, and how open, and wants him some of that. Plus hauling them around would make him feel very strong and protective and useful. He would probably rationalize it as “If they’re on my shoulder, I will know EXACTLY where they are, and they can’t be off doing dumb suicidal shit.” Or even a way to brag- “Look how much I can lift!”

Original comic would slip it in as a new fighting technique. “We should be able to haul each other out of the fight if need be.” The others would not even notice that he wanted to do it for any other reason and by the end, they would all be able to haul the other 3 in a pinch. Raph is… ok with this.

1987 probably wouldn’t have to say much. “Mickey, wanna try a turtle tower?” Thumbs at Rise Raph and Miguel. Immediate acceptance. Don and Leo want turns too.

1990- I feel like he’d just haul Donnie over his shoulder and call it a new work out regiment? Don would complain. Mikey would call dibs on next turn. Raph would do it to Leo next to annoy both of them. It eventually just turns into a thing he does, and most of the time, they even like it.

2003- Would wait until Mickey did something bone-headed and then rather than smacking him would haul him up on his shoulders so he was sitting on the top of his shell, and be like “There. Now you can’t get into anything else.” Long pause. “How you like the view up there?” M- “I kinda like it!” R- “Me too. … I mean it’s good to know we can do this if we need to… You think I could get strong enough to get Don and Leo up there?” M- “No offense bro, but even if you could actually lift us without being turtle pancakes, I just don’t think there’s room. You’re not a WIDE as big guy over there.” R-“Well, it was a thought.” M- “Can I still ride?!” R- “Sure Mike. Sure.” Pats leg.

2007- Would probably also try to convince Leo it was an advantage in a fight, and get him to try it first. Or maybe April, her being the lightest and working his way up.

2012- “Hey Mikey, come here. I wanna try something.” M- “It’s not a wet Willy again, is it?” R- “Just get over here!” M- “yeah, ok.” R- “You laugh at this, I’ll beat the green off you…!” M- “No problems bro, this is a judgement free zone.” R- (smaller voice) “Get up on my shoulders.” “Really?!” “Do it before I change my mind!” Climbs up. R- “It’s cool, right?” M- “Whoah…” Then they proceed to show off, and Raph tries to show how tough he is by getting all of them piled up there despite literally being the smallest Raphtm.

BayTmnt- Would convince Mikey it was a cool new move. Most likely out of all the Ralphs to manage to get all his brothers up there. Most likely to end up just casually carrying Mikey or Don around after the Rise bros. Would randomly start hauling Leo off his feet and over a shoulder when he thinks Leo’s been training too hard just to piss him off.

All the Rise boys think this is the most adorable thing they have ever seen. Only Leo comments on it.
