Think I might buy one to carry in the back of my truck. Or better yet make one to use, just for the looks I would get with it in my truck or being used.
1979 HMV Freeway (HM Vehicles Free-way 1979-1982).
Final pic to show size, I believe this is a 1982 model).
Front and back pictures.
At the time they came out, there was available 2 gas motors (12hp or 16hp), a 4hp electric motor. A diesel motor was offered too but none were ever sold. The 12hp was guaranteed, at the time, to get 100 mpg @ 40mph. Usually came with a 3 gal tank, but could have a 10 gal. tank option.

Facts: The Subaru Impreza 22BSTI is one of the holy grail JDM cars, selling for several hundred thousand dollars when they do come up for sale.
The Impreza 22B STI was only produced for five months in 1998, and all the 22Bs were sold in a span of 48 hours. In an era when the internet and social media hadn't gone mainstream, that was indeed a significant feat.
The Impreza 22B STI sold quickly because only 400 examples were made, making it an ultra-rare Subaru. All of them were right-hand-drive, as they were all built for the Japanese market.
Motorsport fans would immediately recognize the importance of the Impreza 22B STI in Subaru's history, and with that, its insane value nowadays, as it fetched over $300,000 in a Bring A Trailer auction.

Beautiful weather today. Made for a great time driving the truck home (I was standing in the bed to take this shot)- windows down, music blasting, going as fast as the truck goes (about 50mph), bouncing around with every bump in the road...
