One thing I really enjoy about transition is when the changes in hormones slow down...

It feels like I am a house settling, shifting ever-so-slightly, and becoming one with this new foundation.

I don't have a "typical" body, but so do the other guys in my family. I look like them now. I've been told I looked like my father when he was a teenager, and I feel as though I am in the mentality I need to be in.

So many people are excited when they get all these new changes all at once, and then they might become disappointed when their second puberty starts to slow down, but I find I am the opposite. I am so much more at peace than I was before, and that's saying something when I was at peace a month into my changes.

He (it, she, they, whatever, it doesn't care) took on a more or less humanoid appearance when it first met people, because he hunts best when it imitates its favorite prey. That’s why Hunter resembles herb brides in some ways - he loves to feed on them, because he secretly envies their talent to communicate with Earth. He "steals" this talent after consumption, but it doesn't stay for long.

He does not enter the Town just yet because he's lowkey afraid lmao, but engages in barter on the outskirts. He can exchange twyre of any rarity and the organs of odonghs/herb brides for lemons. He fucking loves lemons. He doesn’t even eat them, he collects them as a kind of treasure, and in his underground lair they somehow, magically ig, don’t rot - they just chill there like a hoard of citrus gold.

His true form is a long black half-snake, and his poison, at worst, can paralyze and kill, and at best (when processed properly) can become an anesthetic or a medicine to boost immune system.

his hair is snakes and twyre and certain daredevils are eager to use it as an ingredient for a homemade snake wine lol

HC time:

Aegon bear hugs Daeron, damn near crushing him, every time he comes to visit from Oldtown, and announces very loudly (and typically very drunkly) to his siblings (who are right next to him and can very plainly see that there brother is standing right there and might have already said their greetings) that their brother is home and quickly calls for wine so they can celebrate.

they share hugs and stories before sitting somewhere they won't be bothered until they run out of wine. it almost always ends with Aegon lovingly draped across his siblings and either Aemond or later Daeron (once he's big enough for it) dragging him to his chambers where he will vice grip around their waist and they end up giving in to an afternoon in his bed (the other two will shortly follow with books and other entertainment and Helaena will bring the babes).

aegon missed his littlest brother and wants a day to be a soft and squishy mess. none of them, not even Aemond, will complain about cuddles.

if the genius society rewards depth then the intelligentsia guild (or maybe just dr ratio) strives for breadth

the genius society seems to be a lot more picky about its members, choosing only those who actually revolutionize their field instead of just people who are at the top

whereas dr ratio's whole thing is about increasing accessibility of knowledge to all life in the universe as long as they want to learn

i don't know enough yet about the intelligentsia guild to tell whether this is an opinion shared by the entire organization or if it's just dr ratio

but dr ratio has more or less completely diverged from the specific path down erudition that the genius society treads, and is going alongside the intelligentsia guild to make another

or in other words nous is a minmaxer with a glass cannon build and dr ratio is a generalist who levels up everything equally

Absolutely adore your little comic with Pepperman. He's one of my favorite characters and I feel like people always characterize him as some intentionally hateful person. He just lacks a filter and comes across as annoying! He's so special to me as someone who struggles from the same unfiltered habit.

Fun fact: Mcpig mentioned a while back that the only reason Pepperman and Peppino aren't friends post-game is because Pepperman struggles to enter the pizzeria due to his massive size. Poor guy :')

This is 🥺💖 I think it is a very fitting personality trait. Its that thing about weaknesses in a character being seen as a strength and vice versa (when ur making ur own characters and getting stuck on fleshing them out). Like he is clearly shown as someone who is self absorbed; obsessed with his own appearance, and can easily be dispatched when seeing even a glimpse of his own visage.

But like on the flipside, that can be seen as a positive by deciding its Not him being obsessed with himself, but rather, him being obsessed w beautiful and wondrous things. Things that get his heart racing and make his artistic drive flare. Shamelessly in love with his own beauty is ALSO him being shamelessly in love with anything that is beautiful. No filter! He just says what he says! And like I do think he would be a bit of an ass and a bully bc I think of him and the noise as spoiledt brats who are just used to getting their way. But i like the idea of Pepperman knowing when hes met his match. Since he cant fight and pay his way to get Peppino to do what he wants, he will try more unorthodox methods. Like. Beg. He is just lucky Peppino is completely disarmed when being praised, bc otherwise baring his wants and still being rejected would probably obliterate his ego 😭

Anakin has on at least one occasion got his hair tangled in a project he was tinkering with, Rex helped him untangle it so he wouldn't have to cut it but that started Anakin's manbun era which would be fine if it didn't make everyone slightly attracted to him

He goes out on a mission to a hot planet and ties his hair up? Everyone is fawning over him, he doesn't even notice and Obi-Wan wants to punch a wall at his obliviousness

The Grad Life - day 21/50 (07/10/23)

Having sleepovers with your friends as an adult is amazing and should happen more often! I went to my friends on Thursday after work, we baked brownies, ate pizza and drank wine whilst singing to the Y2K pop playlist, just having the best time. Friday work was extremely quiet so I dug up my courage and offered brownies to everyone in my area, even though most of them were complete strangers, and I got the sweetest reactions. Reminder to do it scared.
