🦭🧼💀Had a Brain fart today and thought about a selkie ghoap au. So here are my thoughts on paper(on text lolol);

-Obviously soap would be a selkie

-male selkies are rumored to be very handsome and be very seducing usually going after fisherman's wives

-of course this is more of a he likes fisherman better deal

-ghost does not steal his pelt I personally dislike the idea of it unless it's unknowingly

-ghost is probably a fisherman and by that probably a deckhand

-I feel his mask wouldn't be out of place since it tends to be chilly on water

-ghost to me in this au feels like a tragic type very stern cold man with no interest initially (people named Simon are always tragic)

-task force 171 is a commercial fishing boat working under some fishing company

-I feel like it would be a little mermaid type deal with soap pining from afar

-of course soap eventually shed's his skin and tries to join the little fishing boat

-slowburn occurs in a he fell first, but he fell harder type deal

-they go on a few dates were soap experiences more life on the main land and ghost learns to feel again

-ghost is determined not to like the new recruit or change at all but, he grow fond of soap(as always)

-although cute and all soap eventually has to return to the sea

-and of course in true selkie tale fashion he faces a dilemma of turning back into a seal or staying with ghost

-soap tries to hold on as long as he can but eventually becomes sick from being away too long as the change of the tides begins

-ghost begins to notice and tries to figure out what's wrong

-I love communication but, I love angst more

-soap negates everything and eventually although tearful decides to go back

- tearfully soap leaves without notice and ghost obviously sees him dive back into the sea

-ghost dives in to look for him with no success and proceeds to drown as the tide changes

-hes saved though don't worry soap gets him out of the water

-in true myth fashion soap depending on how sad it is he either stays human or seal

-im partial to human but he'll never become a seal again

-but if he chooses seal it really depends on the folklore he can either come back in seven years or the change of the tides

🦭🧼💀 i think my brain is rotting but, i think we need more fanfic based on folklore sometimes

I..I failed my math exam. I got..a..13..

I thought I ate up that math exam but in reality I'm the one who got eaten. That math exam ate my sanity, mental health, physical health, endurance, dignity, hope, braincell and left no crumbs.
