Karen: KARENNNNN! I wasn’t expecting to see them here but now that it’s happening I am very glad to have someone who I have worked with before around, and a solid foundation of working together. Right away I felt like I had someone who had my back and I hope I’m not misreading that, because Karen and I always seem to work together until a certain point. Hopefully we can work together longer than usual this time! Kevin: uhhh soooooo love Kevin but we don’t have the best track record? He was in Circle with me we had a little fight where I may have called him a racist for being mad at Asya anyway it SEEMS as though that’s not an issue anymore and I think we might be able to work something out. I don’t wanna have to vote Kevin out before Stoner or Tommy. Tommy: ok no offense to this man but he is so hard to talk to so far. Every conversation feels flat and even though we are talking about subjects I could go on about for a while, it feels like the convos are going nowhere. I feel like there’s a sort of slight bond between Karen, Kevin and I but then Tommy and Stoner are kind of...hopefully who they’d want to kill off first, I’m probably wildly misreading every situation rn. Outside of my tribe I’ve talked to Juls who I am going to take under my wing as my daughter and she will win this season if I don’t get to! I also talked to Jacob C. who I love so much and he and I have been comparing some notes. He’s already told me Sammy has an idol that he can only use for three rounds so heh heh heh. Alright, so here we are at the 2020 Olympics.   I came in as a last minute replacement, so I feel like I have to prove myself more than some others who applied weeks before hand and made the cut.   As well, got some past players, and past winners, which makes the competition stakes that much greater this season.   Then, to top it all off, at the One World style camp, so can talk to everyone which is definitely a nice touch.   Now, regards to my tribe, I honestly like the people on my tribe, and find that we're going to be a solid crew.   Here is my actual impressions on my tribe mates thus far though: Beck - Probably one I recognize most, just due to being in a discord org vl with her, definitely seems like a friendly gal, and when time is right, I feel she could end up being my closest ally on the tribe Ben - Probably one so far who I have talked the most too, and I feel like we're connecting alright thus far, so going to keep building up a bond with him and his route could end up being as my first ally of these Olympics. Kathy - Haven't spoken one on one with her yet, just in the tribe chat somewhat and main chat, which she definitely seems like a cool person, and hoping to get to know her a bit better, but terms of this game, hard to say if we'll be on same side or not. Bailey - Speaking with her a little, but kind of same lines as Kathy currently with her, just not sure if Bailey will end up being an ally who will be with me, or someone who will be against me. Overall, time will tell how this game goes, but hopefully it goes well for me and I come out with at least something worth while.

Y’all. This cast has me SWEATING. I know like 80% of these players and you wanna know how I’m doing? Not well bitch! I feel like there’s so many tengaged people here that I had the unpleasant time of playing some celestial game or something like that. I know Nik and Livingston and tim from that. And according to Nik there’s a ton of people who have played together before with a ton of beef so I’m just scared! I’m hoping they all go after each other before me but knowing my luck I’ll be the hot one that does first.

I haven’t played a game in a few months and honestly messaging 20 people trying to have a good first impression has me FATIGUED! 

Also finding out from keaton that a 13 person friend group was all cast for this game is.... a mood

When everyone is random.orging their lists but I went through and evaluated each individual conversation with a fine toothed comb in order to make my list 🤡

So I figured what better way to do my cast assessment but by going through each person based on my list that I made for the challenge. We love this big brain energy. 

1. Ryan - RTP is a legend. We have been in this community for such a long time. I think there's a common respect for one another and I would love to work closely with him this game. I think that we have a good rapport and all in all he's a great guy. 

2. Nik - I love Nik so much because he's 100% himself no matter the occasion. I played a trinity survivor game with him and we didn't always see eye to eye, but I really loved his spirit and getting to know him. I think we could do a lot of damage in this game together. 

3. Gavin - What a sweetie! He seems so kind and a gentle soul. In my mind we've hit it off and the messages haven't been just the normal get to know you messages. This might be too high of a ranking for now, but i'm just going with the vibes. 

4. Zac - Zac seems so cool! I think he's a pretty open book and is willing to talk game or about personal stuff. We both love food and honestly that's a connection I can work with. 

5. Savanna - We really hit it off talking about horror movies and life. I feel like her and I quickly started talking, but then the convo kinda dropped out. I am hopeful that her and I end up on a tribe together because I feel like she's someone I could trust long term. 

6. Livingston - Oh boy, I was a little nervous about seeing Livingston on this cast. I was like...wow 2020 really is doing me dirty.  BUT as we got talking, we really did have a good conversation about the past and how we will move forward from it. This is a hopeful placement for Livingston and I hope he sees it as an olive branch. 

7. Maynor - My boy Maynor is so nice and such a threat haha he's a good person to have on your side because he's very social and in most games i've seen him in, a late game threat. he's someone I want to work with but also watch out for. 

8. Keaton - Keaton, Keaton, Keaton. A mess. I love him so much, he has such a good spirit about him, but he's messy! He already spilled a 13 person friend group in the game, but then failed to give me any names... Sis, you were high on my list, but now! I dropped ya. 

9. Jessie - What a genuine nice person. I feel bad about lying and saying I've seen Silent Hill, but I'M JUST TRYING TO CONNECT WITH PEOPLE. 

10. Chips - Chips and I just don't vibe that well in games, so he's middle of the pack for me. 

11. Brandan - Brandan is a little chaotic and I know him from other games, I just want to keep an eye on him because he can be a little emotional. 

12. Daulton - He seems really nice, but we didn't really get past the get to know you questions and I kinda lead the convo

13. Liam - I wish I could have put him higher, but he only started talking to me now after 9 and I honestly love him, so rip. 

14. Zach - I'm afraid a bunch of people are gonna put zach high because of his popularity in the community and charisma, so i'm hoping this lowers him a little. 

15. Austin - He seems cool! Just didn't talk much. 

16. Grace - We really didn't talk, meh. 

17. Billy - I know he works at a gas station! 

18. Josh V. - Literally didn't talk

19. Duolingo - Hoping based on his name he can teach me Spanish. 

20. Tim - The only PERSONAL ranking on my list. I don't care for him. He's condescending and someone I was REALLY upset about being cast. He will 100% be my target if given the chance. He can go.

Hi everyone! I'm gonna try to stay on top of my shit but no promises. There are a lot of people that I don't know at all in this game, but so far Randy, Clash, Nick, and Dani have been the people to message me. Dani and I played Guyana together and did well, so it's nice to have her as someone to talk to this early on.

I don't really see any obstacles yet, it's all a matter of how i bring my game to the table and who i learn does it better. This is my second BB game so I have a little bit of learning to do since the gameplay is a bit different than Survivor.

I love the idea of going to Friday night dinner. Not only do i love dinner and Friday nights, but i think it's completely fair and chill. Your decisions may or may not help you and that's what I like. I enjoy seeing how advantages work for different people and how people make weaker ones work in their favor.

I joined this game last minute when I wasn't planning on playing for a while, so I'm still trying to get mentally prepared for the conversations and challenges ahead. I hope that doesn't put a target on my back.

Hi first confessional here. I've been struggling with playing 2 games at the same time it's hard to keep up. Now i get some quiet time to catch up this lovely morning. This cast is fun and varied. I was excited to see some people I've played with in the past (Drew, Karen, Isaac, Andrew, Dan, and Ricky) and meet some new people. I'm finding it hard to message people because I hate the awkward small talk in the beginning but I don't want to get targeted. While I know those people from the past, they're also obstacles because I know, according to timestamps, Karen and Isaac targeted me in the HOH and they're probs definitely working together. I'm hoping I can stay under the radar for now and let large groups go after each other until I get a chance to build more relationships.

After the nomination ceremony where Isaac and Liana are nominated, tensions brew between Bobby and Isaac (which makes Isaac concoct a lie to make Bobby feel bad for being mean). VL Cast Assessment/Opinions:

Adrian - We don’t exactly talk often but I feel quite safe with him... he gives me laying low type player vibes and I’m gonna let him do his thing! Overall like him a lot and there’s potential with him as an ally in the game.

Andrew - He’s quite chill! He and I talk a lot and I personally really like him and his attitude. I think he doesn’t scream threat but late game he may be the main social player and threat to win. I consider him a worthy ally

Bobby- I LOVE BOBBY! He’s overall really fun and has a great personality. We are definitely close in this game! The one issue is he makes it very clear he hates Ricky and that could put a target on him and possibly me if they think we are close. He’s someone who I will 100% have their back in the game

Chelsea - She’s sweet... nice personality and doesn’t seem to have any enemies. I think she’s a super nice person and there’s really nothing negative to say about them at the moment besides I wish we connected more sooner.

Clash - CLASH IS AMAZING! We knew each other way before this and we already had the bond but we never worked together... hopefully this time it will be different and we can work with each other long term!

Dan - I love him but the house thinks otherwise... people see him as a kind of a crazy over the top player based on past games... but in my opinion it’s better to have those types of people on your side rather than against you in these types of games...  sadly he might be a common target in this game.

Dani - Dani is so kind and I love her so much! We talk all the time  and the only issue I have with her is that she’s after Madison who I also like and trust. Their feud might ruin my game long term!

Drew - I like drew but I feel like he automatically thinks I’m with him because we know each other... we haven’t talked a ton but when we do I enjoy the talks a lot as he’s genuinely a good and funny guy!

JG - Same a Clash where I knew him before this and I trust him but we never played together! I think everyone likes him and he is someone who I gotta trust or I’ll fall out of the loop.

Karen - Rocky start but we actually talked a bit and connected a bit. I’m hoping for more but as of now I don’t trust Karen that much.

Let me explain the situation:PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WE ARE IN EXAM SEASON AND THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS IT IS HARDER TO MAKE THINGS WORK, I AM ALSO HAVING THE THOUGHT THAT THE THINGS EXPLAINED IN THE SITUATION BELOW COULD WELL HAVE TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT IT IS EXAM SEASON AND WE NEED TO ACHIEVE THE GRADES WE NEED TO GET INTO UNIVERSITY. EXAMS ARE IN 1 MONTH FROM THE TIME THE SITUATION BELOW STARTED.Recently started actually liking a girl from my college, I already knew this girl last year but didn't find any interest in her last year, anyways, around 4 weeks ago I started speaking to her through a mutual friend and found out little by little that I feel like I am really digging her, so things go quite well for the first week, physical escalation goes well as I invite her to go to this local activities place where we played some ping pong and pool, I was playfully teasing her when I won and would steadily escalate kino from hand touching/hand reading to hip pushing/bumping when playing pool, the day after she suggests we should probably go and smoke some weed the coming 2 week college break we are having, I say sure and that I will get to her about it soon, so later on that week we get another opportunity to hang out, and I take her to a local arcade where we played DDR (A dance game thing in arcades) and some pool again. NOW. Here is where I THINK i fucked up and messed up, I was alone with her on this occasion and should have/felt like just stopping the moment while playing pool and kissing her, then the mutual friend i met her through (one of my closest friends, shes a female, she is also kind of close to this girl I am interested in, she tells me that based on something personal that recently happened to the girl I am interested in, that I shouldn't rush things and try to kiss her straight away, I know, I shouldn't have listened is what I feel like, I feel like I should have just went in anyway), so we leave the arcade and I keep escalating kino-wise, we get to the bus stop, we somehow start speaking about diets and i ask how much she weighs, she says she isn't sure so I say 'let me see', and I proceed to grab her from below her hips and lift her up for a good 5 seconds, whilst doing this I give a rough guess at her weight etc, she didn't show any signs of discomfort about it and just let me do it, I put her down have a little laugh and then we say bye to each other with a tight and lengthy hug (around 4-5 seconds).She texts me a few hours later asking if I got home and I reply, I tried to not reply frequently and fast as I am not really much of an SMS or social media texter when it comes to girls I am interested in, I REALLY dislike any method of non-person to person ways of communication, so we ask each other if we home safe bla bla and then I say im off for the night. The day after we continue our sms convo (I replied to something she said when I said goodnight and the convo re-initiated) and I kept it short, at the end of it I asked her if she was free next Tuesday or Wednesday and that I was down for the weed smoking session, she says Wednesday is fine for her and we agree on the date. Come Tuesday, she messages me telling me if we could meet up another time but didn't give any real reasons, I just keep it cool and say 'sure no problems, just let me know whenever u find a time and I will let you know if I am available then :)' , she responds with 'I will :')" , A few days later she messages me suggesting to hang out as a GROUP with Me the mutual friend (my girl bestfriend) and her , to go to the arcade and chill the last day of the 2 week break after we all had done our revision and studying, as I personally like and enjoy going to the arcade anyway, I say 'I'd probably be down yeah, how about doing our weed smoking sesh the weekend before we start college again?' She then tells me that sounds like a plan, I say cool and tell her I am off to study and that i'll message her closer to the days. So a week passes of no texting between us, she then messages me on snapchat regarding a snap on my story, I start convo again from there and move on to SMS, I ask her if she's still down for hanging out that saturday and she then tells me that she would love to but she has a lot of work to catch up with and that she would try to go and let me know if she could still go, we ended up not going and not hanging out the entire 2 week break. So we start college again now, and I see her in class studying by herself at the front of the class sitting alone, so I approach her, give her a little scare from the back and we hug and ask eachother how the 2 week break was, we speak a bit about college work etc and we then head back to our own separate classes.The thing is, when I spoke to her when we got back from the 2 week break, things didn't feel the same, I didn't feel her 'vibe' flowing with mine anymore and she looked really off it, got me really confused here, so lately, the last 2 days of college, I had been finding it hard to just generally speak to her and start a deep personal conversation with her, I speak to her but things are just surface level and I feel like I can't conversate about anything else as I don't feel her 'vibe' as I did BEFORE the 2 week break started, I am really confused as I actually genuinely like this female (It has been a long time since I felt like I actually like and connect with someone, and the time speaking to her and getting to know her on the 2 days we hang out together before the 2 week break made me feel like maybe, just MAYBE she is worth actually putting the work in for and not just another casual fling as usual).So what do you guys reccon I should do? Could all this just be due to it being exam season and her being actually caught up and busy with studying? Or did I mess up/miss my chance by not going in for the kiss when I went arcade with her? Should I keep her out of my mind until after all our exams and try pursue her then IF I am still interested in her by then?I still feel interested in her but I feel like if these things will just keep bugging my mind I will just move on and forget about her, which I personally don't want to do as I first rather know for sure if she is interested or not, rather than having an unknown, just really unsure about how to go at it having the situation as it it now and the awkward vibe I get from her. via /r/dating_advice
