#sorenhoots #sometimes i remember that i am living the life that i ached for during lonely years #like i just get to wake up and live my gay little life??? kinda fucking awesome even if many other parts of life are very stressful #im so glad i met my wife who loves me for who i am 🥰🥰🥰🥰 and 😈😈😈 heheh then i met my other partner???? like. i thought my wife made me #the happiest i would ever be and then WOOSH i met ANOTHER person who makes me incredibly happy? i did not know the happiness could DOUBLE.#i figured it was like 0%-100% and my wife made me like 100% of my capacity for happiness and then its like 200% now and im realizing that my #capacity to experience joy and peace isnt static and frankly probably increases steadily over a lifetime as i grow and change and learn to #appreciate things more. anyways im in a content happy lil gay mood this morning :3 #my partner got to visit us recently to help us get emotionally ready for some stressful stuff but now the most stressful parts are done and #now that the stress is fading i am finding so much happiness has been in my chest waiting to burst! it was sooo good to see my partner hehe #and the situation is even cuter because my wifes partner also came to visit and my wifes partner is my partners wife also so like. adorable #symmetry. my partner and my wifes partner have another partner and if you draw out a little diagram of us you will see it is shaped like a #house :3 a square with a triangle on top :3 hehe metamours everywhere :3 super super super wonderful metamours. its literally almost like a #fairy tale to have a polycule??? like?? im so excited to live somewhere that isnt like 9 hours from them. oh my god they also have a cat and #shes the cutest. me and my wife have a cute cat also and we are like 👀👀👀 tenatively anticipating that they will get along 👀👀👀 ive #specifically worked with my cat to help her know how to behave around other cats. my neighbor is retired and does TNR on the local strays #and they get attached to her and hang out in her backyard or her house lol like one snuck in and this was before they had any cats and they #didnt know he snuck in until he hopped onto her bf's chest at night to snuggle up. and hes a big cat and if you felt him drop onto your #chest in the pitch black of night you might absolutely mistake him for a racooon or possom or some other beast. anyways he sneaks into all #the houses down the street apparently and is just kinda like “the retired people down the street”'s cat lol. and daisy would hiss and yowl #out the window at him but i always tried to show her that he is friendly (and give her treats to attempt to tell her 'he isnt a threat. have #a snack. see? if he was a threat then we would not be having snacks.' and eventually he ran into us while i was letting her outside on her #harness and!!! i was absolutely ready to defend either of them from the t #other but they just cautiously sniffed each other and then laid down. it was fascinating to observe. daisy also responds really well yo #to meeting new people :3 though she proved me wrong by hiding from some maitenence ppl recently. but then she met my metamour and was pretty #much instantly like 'oh ok ur family? sounds gok #sounds good.' so thats cute and i hope if we end up in the same house with the other cat in the polci #polycule. well i hope they get along!!!#idk what we would do if they didnt. there are lots of other housing arrangements (like renting a duplex or next-door apartments or #something) but i want them to get along anyways :3 no matter what sort of living arragement works out best. i think theyd be good for each

jenny holzer inflammatory essays <3 i stood on the stairs and read every single one (there aren’t as many as it looks. each one is on here on about two columns, i think. still a long time to stand there) and i was in the way and people had to walk around me but i was like psssh this is an art gallery if they’re gonna display art here then i’m gonna look at it here. and then afterward i went up and stood by the barrier above the stairs and actually i could read the text reasonably well. so. maybe i did not in fact have to stand in everybody’s way. but whatever

#had fun at the gallery but it was also so so exhausting & also it was a nightmare getting home & now i’ve been home for close to 3 hours but #i’m still soooo tired #but i’ve showered!!#but like i only made it through one collection exhibit & one artist exhibit. or whatever they’re called #there are like. 4 of the first one and 2 of the second one. i think #that’s not even counting all the paid exhibits. here i was thinking i’d get through the free stuff & then see if i could get tickets to some #thing else if i had time & felt like it #i spent two hours in that one section.#and like it was nice i got to see everything in there but oh my god #and there’s TWO tate museums in london. i didn’t know this until this morning!#i was thinking oh maybe i get through the tate modern today & i hit the tate britain tomorrow. a nice weekend of art #no. literally no #god i need to be travelling i haven’t left london at ALL i’m running out of time! but also i want to do this!#i’ve been thinking i’ll do a single day in oxford at least #but if i can’t do the tate modern in a day how can i do a whole city in a day…#and i want to go to SCOTLAND. when will i go to scotland!!!#but i have 6 days of vacation i still need to use at some point. so maybe that’s what i’ll do with them #i also have one day scheduled only because i’m going somewhere the night before & don’t want to work the next day #so maybe i go back to the gallery that day….#post tag

ummm not much is going on? mike went back to the chicago suburb he's from and i immediately went on my trip to india. but we've been texting back and forth every day and have talked on the phone pretty frequently. i'm headed to italy on saturday so we'll be in different timezones again.

he's Very Nice, like, it's kind of mind boggling how sweet he is? i am not used to this, most people i've ever been attracted to are v sarcastic and have kind of a biting sense of humor, but he's just. v sincere. it's different but i'm a fan.

i don't really expect this to go anywhere, and honestly most of the conversations are pretty casual with just like, the smallest hint of flirting. he lives pretty far away, but it's nice to have someone new to talk to who's engaged in the conversation and very responsive. he sends like—multi-paragraph texts which is soooo different from what i'm used to and i'm never really waiting around for long periods of time for him to respond (the longest gap in our texting was probably my first day in india and we literally just figured out earlier this week that he didn't get any of the texts i sent him that day bc my int'l data was being weird). but otherwise it's just. nice. fun. i am enjoying myself and that's really all i can ask for rn lol

I make origami frogs bc I think they’re neat and they’re fun to make jump. Turns out several of my coworkers actually Love frogs and I found that out after giving them origami frogs bc I make them and don’t have reason to keep them

#I don’t know why I wanted to make a frog so bad but someone handed me a stiff piece of paper and instantly it was a frog #and I’m like. ok who do I give this to. and my friends like oh give it to the one right in the other room #so I darted out put it on her book make it jump and then promptly left. i did all of this without saying a word #and she’s like oh my god!! it’s a frog!! i love it!#and then someone else is like oh yeah she loves frogs and she got me a little frog statue so now I’m also fond of frogs #so naturally I gave her a frog as well #and then one girl came by and she’s like where’s my frog :( and it was perfect timing bc I just finished her frog #I’m gonna bring some flash cards tomorrow (best jumping material) and a mason jar and I’m gonna fill a jar with frogs for people #i also had some paper work to fill out wayy earlier this morning and had ripped off half a sheet of paper bc it was blank #so I folded the blank half into a frog and left it on the desk and I was driving out and the guys like is the frog for me? and I’m like #yeah absolutely. he was very excited. so thank u guy for being excited about a frog bc I made more and everyone else was really excited too #i see rectangular paper. i see a frog. it is that simple #it doesn’t even need to be paper. if it’s foldable and rectangle it’s frog #frogular if you will #i like work :) I also got to talk to a girl I don’t usually talk to and she is very nice and I like her #i also have realized that I cannot say the words I love you but I can say love ya #soup talks
