Fun fact! There are over a thousand documented species of weevil in california alone!

That being said, we wish we could provide a more specific ID other than this beautiful creature is (probably) a broad-nosed weevil! (IDK it's 1am and we might've been smoking some...uh...bug food)

so im rewatching torchwood with my mum rn and im also in the middle of listening to tma so i can't get the idea out of my head that the torchwood team and the archives staff are literally the same people in slightly different genres, like torchwood just deal with aliens instead of the supernatural

a homemade dynamite post: so i've written konoha as teaching its kids to be pretty open about the aburame bug thing-- like they do intentionally try to cultivate of culture of "no but you can't just kill kikaichu and also please stop calling shime 'beehive' at recess." but that doesn't mean people don't think individual aburame aren't weird/talk about bugs too much/etc. what i am saying is that shiori wasn't BULLIED in the academy but also she wasn't popular and didn't have many friends

the first time river regenerates is under the care of jack, which is good because he has the (rare) necessary experience of knowing how to help someone who died a little and got better and bad because he now has to figure out a way to explain to amy pond why her daughter is now a completely different child without dying himself.

Every single year at the worst fucking moment the brain weevils attack and make doing anything besides the most mind numbing activities super impossible. My brain feels itchy, and I don't think I should be physically aware of it but I am. I'd really like to be able to write all these lab reports, but doing so is like trying to walk through the 1919 Boston Molasses Flood, and I keep making two and a half steps of progress before having to pull my feet from the sludge so I can sit on a ledge to rest and also try and beat the flies buzzing around my head back with a newspaper

Slowly #this is a <1500 word report I should be able to knock it out in an hour or two #and yet here I am all fucking day #It's due tonight though so I'm going to have to get through this discussion section at some point #at least I have all this horrible spite to get me through the references section #which won't be super long anyways #Also getting hungry which doesn't help #Tomorrow I think I shall go for a stupid walk for my stupid mental health #get some sun #should I get medicated for my undiagnosed probably depression? yes #will I? idk. Probably. I'll ask around after exams to find out how that's done #my school has therapists or something. Mental health support things. They'll know #Am I writing this while on my molasses ledge? yeah but also writing this means I will be on this ledge a little longer #uuuggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh #Going for walkies used to keep the brain weevils away but I went for a walkies today!
