I continue drawing sketches and coloring them. Still sorry for Mr Plant's petals, I used my old pallet for this one too.

I decided to draw some of my favorite background characters. This cloud fella is so cool, I love them. Also Dream Co is a very interesting concept. If I understood correctly, Telly has somehow broken a wall between a dream and reality. For Mr Plant was sleepwalking and punched his own tv, but somehow Telly died or was punched anyway. I love this little details in Twomp.

when watching acofaf i knew that at some point jeremy renner would be an npc, so the fact it took until the last few episodes for him to be mentioned was a hilarious experience

i just finished neverafter and i knew that there was a fairy with an orange top hat that a lot of people liked and lemme tell you that was even more intense of an experience

1. I was a Tunnel - Generationals

I've been listening to this song since it came out and it's not going anywhere anytime soon. It's the perfect beat to run to, and the part at 2:42 has a stranglehold on my brain. Can't explain why, but those specific lyrics with the melody does something.

2. Odoriko - Vaundy

This is a recent discovery from a youtube playlist of Japanese soft indie/rock that my friend sent me. Don't know what it's about, don't know anything about the artist, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

3. Aburrido Divertido - Los Violadores

I wrote a paper about Los Violadores like a decade ago and then I recently started listening to them again. Highly recommend both listening and reading about them, because they're a key part of the history of punk music in Argentina.

4. California - Phantom Planet

I know, okay? But I love Phantom Planet and this song is still good. Also I'm seeing them in May and I'm very excited.

5. Running Up That Hill - Placebo

This doesn't have anything to do with Stranger Things or Kate Bush. I was rewatching The OC, they used this song in the season four premiere, and it stuck. It's also really good to run to.

The ironic thing about Tumblr Live coming to web is that browsers are simply far more customizable. You can literally use uBlock and yeet any annoying part of the website. People can just create Add-Ons that will remove the annoying feature. Given the absolute outcry of negativity towards this feature, I give them like... 3 days before someone creates an extension to remove Tumblr Live. And that feels generous

someone did a thread on incredibly stupid worldbuilding stuff from the series that shall not be named and my own addition is that it is baffling that the wizarding world has things like false convictions or false protestations of innocence or false confessions when a) you can pull people's memories out of their heads and watch them like a movie b) there is a literal drink that makes someone tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help them god and c) there are ways you can literally learn to become a mind reader.

#personal #the other main stupid worldbuilding thing is what the fuck do people think happened to regulus #like i know in book five it's said that the consensus is he was killed for defecting but like #how is that the consensus #the death eaters clearly have no idea what happened to him because they didn't think he'd defected #since if anyone had found out then they'd have found out about the fake locket #so it's not like the death eaters were putting that out from what they know regulus just vanished #and there's no reason to just randomly believe he defected and was killed #for all intents and purposes this kid vanished off the face of the earth and literally no one knows what happened to him #not his parents not his brother not his coworkers not his boss not his enemies #so how was there any sort of consensus when nothing would make a consensus pop up #it's fucking maddening #god she's so bad at worldbuilding
