These organizations supporting KOSA going through while claiming they want to help marginalized kids are actually so disgusting to me. The posts they make about Nex is just virtue signaling & words when their actions say let’s make things worse for these children.
I’m gonna be 100% honest, they should keep that kid’s name out of their damn mouths so long as they support KOSA. Like actually fuck you & eat shit. Actions speak louder than words, traitorous scumbags. You don’t care, you care about your stakeholders more.
Your organization can only thrive & exist so long as there’s a problem to donate towards solving. Of course you would support KOSA, you need a problem to keep existing in order to look like the good guys & solve it. Just go mask off & call us slurs & your “customers” at this point, it would be less disgusting than covering it up behind kind words.
#this goes out to the Trevor project & PFLAG as well as GLAAD & GLSEN#all of you should keep Nex’s name out your mouth when you have every intention to make things worse for trans kids#I can’t imagine going to work for one of these charity organizations & just seeing your bosses make things worse for the people you are#trying to help#I cannot imagine how frustrating & upsetting that is & then the higher ups are just like okayyyy our organization can keep existing...#so now y’all lower rank workers go help these kids whose lives we just made worse!#these charity orgs function like retail stores I stg; they need customers to keep giving them money meanwhile the higher ups make things#worse for said customers while the cashiers & others just try to help the best they can#you’re doing damage control for your incompetent & terrible upper management; it’s just like every other American workplace#you can also compare supporting a bill that would hurt the people they claim to help as a war economy comparison#they need to keep the class war going by supporting this bill in order to keep having money to keep existing as an organization#they’re playing both sides while on the surface saying we are here to help!#no you aren’t! your workers are; but you as higher ups are prioritizing stakeholders over humanity & for that you’ve lost all my respect#I haven’t looked up evidence about the human rights campaign supporting KOSA but they’ve been bad in the past so I believe it tbh#I mean the recent Zionism from HRC is enough for me to be like yeahhh no they absolutely would be in support of the Kosa bill#mine#op#the trevor project#pflag#glaad#GLSEN

Im not gonna reblog this from OP bc they run an entire discourse blog and im tired of arguing with discourse blogs coz im pretty sure they all have read many similar and amazing arguments against this think piece and yet choose to be aphobic but heres again why i think these arguments are COMPLETE BULLSHIT.This post is gonna be long, but it will be worth it coz im gonna put many many sources here so that we hopefully dont have to go through this bullshit again :
The chances of a person being a “cishet” ace in this world are very very veeerryy SMALL.Asexuality already constitutes only ONE PERCENT of the total WORLD POPULATION.And the chances of those ONE PERCENT of people being cisgender AS WELL AS straight AS WELL AS asexual simultaneously are FUCKING MICROSCOPIC.And even then not every single of those “cishet” aces would be kicked out of their house for being ace just like not every lgbt person is kicked out of their houses.
This whole rhetoric is based on “ace people dont feel oppression for being ace so they dont deserve lgbt resources” which is fucking false. aces are as likely to be suicidal as gay or bi people, and twice as likely as straight people because of their asexuality. A-spec trans people face significantly higher levels of homelessness, and eviction than any other demographic of trans people. There are more proofs but ive covered them in a different post and you can check it out if you like.If ace people are kicked out because of their orientation just like lgbt people are,why should we not let them have access to lgbtqa resources??who decides the hierarchy of orientations who get access to resources first and who last??
Also, how IS trans people not being able to afford transition therapies and HIV+ people being being unable to afford the resources related to “cishet” aces “stealing” resources????Like what do yall think, “cishet” aces are gonna get transition therapies when they dont need them or are gonna get themselves treatment for HIV+ when they don t even have it?????How the fuck is this argument even relevant to the discussion?????
Not to mention, there is no proof of EVERY SINGLE lgbt+ shelter being overcrowded and if you believe that, you are intentionally being ridiculous. And everyone who actually works in these kind of organizations and shelters knows DAMN well that these organizations are usually bending over backwards trying to include anybody who might possibly ever need their resources even the tiniest bit bc when they have more people they help, they get more funding and visibility.Grants and donors give more money to organizations who help more people(x).More Ace people reaching out to those lgbt+ organizations and shelters will only increase their visibility and funding in the long run.
You know who ACTUALLY is NOT getting enough resources? bisexual people. They got $0 out of $97,189,139 for LGBT+ funding. And their funding keeps decreasing to increase funding for Gays  which is horrible bc  Bi people tend to fare worse than gay people in issues such as poverty, health, mental illness, violence, etc. These statistics are constantly used to get more funding for LGBT+ organizations but then barely any of it goes towards bisexuals. Which is y’know stealing resources.(x).YET these discourse bloggers never address this issue and keep making posts after posts about the microscopic hypothetical of “cishet” aces stealing resources which RARELY happens. If you are so much concerned about lgbt people not getting enough resources, then start addressing problems that are ACTUALLY occurring than blaming it on a strawman argument.
Many big and important LGBTQA organizations like  the Trevor Project, GLMA, National LGBTQ Task Force, GLSEN and PFLAG , GLAAD etc recognize and accept Asexuals as part of the community. (x) . If you think you with your 2k followers discourse blog and half baked knowledge about lgbtqa history has hotter takes than people who actually WORK for the betterment of lgbtqa people, than you are a dumbass lol.
Therefore, considering the above arguments, the chance that some “cishet” ace will be kicked out of their house and will hog up a lgbtqa shelter which has space for only one(1) more person and will result in the death of another lgbt person in the street bc they too were somehow kicked out of their house at the same time as that “cishet” ace and couldnt find any other lgbtqa shelter is LITERALLY NEGLIGIBLE.This issue and argument is a strawman and is REALLY REALLY not worth dedicating ENTIRE BLOGS , 15 page thinkpieces and masterposts about.
Stop thinking that people who keep bringing up these arguments are just doing it “for the greater” good of the lgbtqa community. There are much much more pressing issues for lgbtqa people to deal with than some hypothetical which has very very very low chances of happening. These people are aphobes and are only using these arguments to forther their aphobic agenda

its pride month which means companies are going to make rainbow products to benefit off the lgbt+ community and that sucks
Now that Ive got your attention I got some shit to say. June is a time where us lgbtq+ folks can feel seen and at least a little loved. Unfortunately some companies try to just make a profit off of our identities. I was feeling kinda down in the dumps about this so I decided to do some research and have found and researched quite a few companies that are making pride merchandise but donating at least 10%(or more!) of the profits to lgbt+ charities and I thought I’d list some, that way if you’re like me and want to have cute rainbow clothes to wear to your local pride festivals you have some options that will not only benefit you but others in the community who are struggling.
Harry’s Razors; This razor subscription service has released a new limited-edition Shave with Pride set. The kit includes three blade cartridges, foaming shave gel, a blade cover and and a one-of-a-kind rainbow Winston razor handle. In addition to giving 100% of profits from the set to The Trevor Project, Harry's has donated $200,000 to support The Trevor Project's new on-demand training system.
Converse; The 2019 Pride Collection features classic Chuck Taylor hi-tops and lowtops with a variety of Pride symbols, including the first Chuck 70 sneakers inspired by the transgender flag. Proceeds from the collection benefit LGBT groups like the It Gets Better Project and OUT MetroWest.
Disney; The Rainbow Disney collection offers more than 50 products. Purchase any item from the Rainbow Disney Collection through June 30, 2019, and Disney will donate 10% of the proceeds to GLSEN, which works to establish a safe and inclusive environment for LGBTQ students across the country.
Banana Republic; Fifty percent of the purchase price of items in Banana Republic's Equality Collection benefits the United Nations Free & Equal Campaign for LGBT equality, up to $60,000.
MAC Cosmetics; MAC Cosmetics has long supported the LGBT community with its Viva Glam lipstick. But the new #MACLOVESPRIDE collection serves up blush, glitter, lipstick, eyeshadow and more in kaleidoscopic colors perfect for the parade. This summer MAC is supporting more than 20 local Pride events, including L.A. Pride and WorldPride NYC, and is launching PSAs with LGBT celebs. In addition, the company is donating $500,000 to GLAAD over the next two years in honor of Viva Glam's 25th anniversary.
Dr. Martens; Dr. Martens is offering a rainbow-painted version of its classic 1460 boot, as well as a rainbow-flecked version of its Jadon platform boots and glittery ombre boots for kids, plus 55-inch rainbow shoelaces and even Pride tube socks. A portion of proceeds benefit the Trevor Project, which provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBT youth.
Verizon(and a few other phone companies); In honor of Pride Month, the telecom company is continuing its partnership with PFLAG, which brings together LGBT people with parents, family and allies. Verizon is donating $250,000 to PFLAG National and has released a video, "Love Calls Back," directed by Bully director Lee Hirsch.
Lush; This Pride season, Lush is dedicating 100 percent of the purchase price of its Charity Pot body lotion to organizations advocating for LGBT rights, including the National Center for Transgender Equality, Equality New Mexico, Outfront Minnesota and Ark of Freedom Alliance.
Chipotle (this is my favorite); Chipotle is celebrating Pride with some limited edition gear, including its "¿Homo Estás?" tee, and donating a portion of proceeds to The Trevor Project. In addition, the restaurant chain is participating in parades across the country and hosting fundraisers supporting local LGBT nonprofits.
MeUndies; MeUndies has partnered with GRiZ on a colorful collection of underwear, tees, onesies, socks and more. A dollar from every sale goes toward Miley Cyrus' Happy Hippie Foundation, which addresses LGBT and at-risk youth homelessness
Nike; In addition to tees, flip-flops and baseball caps, the 2019 edition of Nike's #BETRUE collection includes four classic “sneake” silhouettes reworked to feature Gilbert Baker's iconic rainbow flag
Warby Parker; Warby Parker is offering a limited-edition Parker Case in Blue Prism and, throughout June, all in-store purchases will come with a rainbow Warby Parker tote. In addition, the eyewear company is making special donations to The Trevor Project and Lambda Legal.
American Eagle; The American Eagle x It Gets Better Pride Collection includes rainbow-stripe tube socks and tanks, hoodies and tees emblazoned with saying like "Empowered by Love," "Super Gay" and "Gayer than Gay!" One hundred percent of sales from the collection benefit the It Gets Better Project, which works to uplift, empower, and connect LGBT youth around the globe.
H&M; Tanks, tees, crop tops, bodysuits, pool shoes and windbreakers are among the items in the Love For All collection from H&M, which is donating 10% of global sales from the line to the United Nations' Free & Equal campaign.
Morphe; Morphe believes in helping to create a safe space where everyone can feel accepted. They’ve partnered with The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.100% of net proceeds from their PRIDE Live in Color Collection will be donated to The Trevor Project during Pride celebration.
Hollister; Up to $25,000 in proceeds from the PrideCollection will be donated to GLSEN.
KIND Protein Bar; The first-ever KIND Pride bar is made of delicious dark chocolate, nuts and sea salt, covered in a rainbow-colored wrapper inspired by the Pride flag. One hundred percent of proceeds benefit New York's Ali Forney Center (AFC), which provides essential services and shelter for LGBT homeless youth.
