Life
1.What region in Thedas were they born in? What was their hometown (and their home itself) like?
I'll admit i have not thought about the details of that much because it's just. Not That Important for them all things considered, and i wanna say it was p similar for both of them. Born Maybe near Amaranthine, maybe somewhere else and then moved there early? Then moved to Lothering in their early/mid teens when Bethany's magic manifested. Liam cared more about the move -- he gets attached to places, and change is harder for him to deal with.
Both villages were fairly small with tight-knit communities, and both of them socialised more than they probably should considering their family situation. I always imagine Hawke as a full on farmer country kid, but neither Leandra nor Malcom had any experience with that so i hc they only got one in Lothering, after they'd learned how farms Work lolol. The kids def still grew up around farmers and helping out in the neighbourhood as odd jobs before that though
Party
2. Which companions (or advisors) are they closest friends with? Who do they respect?
Liam - Varric and Fenris are his closest friends, and he and Bethany were very tight as well. Aveline is considered family in his books and she has an almost older sister type of status to him. He got along very well with Isabela too - until she left.
He cares for Merrill a great deal, but it was a bit rocky for a long time bc he'd project onto her after Bethany's death, and while he meant well, he did not notice when he was getting patronising. He eventually realises though, and they grow closer after that.
Lilian - She and Isabela hit it off instantly, and grow close very fast. Same can be said for Merrill, and they're a very tight trio. She gets on very well with Sebastian as well, and is on good terms with Fenris, whom she shares a mutual respect with. Anders she used to have a good deal of respect for, and, in some ways, still has, but it's. Complicated.
4. Are there any companions (or advisors) they don’t get along with? Have any of them ever left the party?
Liam - Sebastian is somebody he Does Not vibe with. They get on okay enough; they hang out with the same gang obviously, so they spend a lot of time together, and they know they have each others backs. But they never did grow super close, because Seb really grates on Liam's nerves, and vice versa. Needless to say, his reaction to sparing Anders did Not help better their relationship.
And speaking of Anders, that relationship was more strained than most of the others. Liam does consider him a friend, and he worried for and cared about Anders as much as the others, but they simply do not mesh well on a personal level. Liam got frustrated with how Anders talked to and about some of their friends, and was uncomfortable with his.. not advances, but the way he'd get so weirdly pissy and jealous about his love life? For a long time that was the main cause of friction between them. Then when Anders does his Secret Plans TM and lies to his face about it, that's what really drives a wedge between them, because it cuts Liam pretty deep to be used like that by someone who he considers a friend.
Lilian - she has a. Very Antagonistic relationship with Aveline. It started out as mutual respect, but once Lilian stopped being passive, they quickly butted heads.
Varric is a friend, but she has a hard time respecting him, and gets frustrated especially towards the later years in Kirkwall due to his refusal to pick a side, or have any proper Opinions or Principles. She gets why he is Like That, but that doesn't change that he needs to stop staying in limbo.
Anders also has a big It's Complicated label again oops. She respects him and his abilities, and they have very similar goals, but as it tends to be among people with visions, the details on that vary greatly, and therefore made them clash quite a bit. She also could not stand his attitude, as much as she sympathised with him, and was very vocal about that. which did Not help ease the tension. For her too his stunt towards the end was what did it, because trust is a Big Thing for her, so him breaking it, especially after uh. the Isabela Incident, was the last straw (heh). There are. Various reasons why she ended up executing him, ranging from anger to understanding to perceived duty.
7. How did their relationship progress? If they’re a canon romance option, is their story different from the way the game presents it?
Liam - The relationship actually progresses the same in both timelines! At least until the breakup lol.
They both make a strong first impression on each other, and while they are initially cautious about the other (mainly bc of the mage thing), they are never outright hostile and actually get on pretty well very early.
I always take Fenris's "you're handsome" comment as the romance initiation lol, in the sense that Liam's reaction was basically "wait, you think so?? 😳" and that's when they established that mutual interest Is There, but they wanted to wait and see how things worked out between them first. So it was a very, Very slow burn, but it was a deliberate slow burn xd
I do shift things around on the timeline a bit bc imo the story beats in the romance don't make sense as they are in canon lol, so the point when they Actually get together is not the same as the breakup, there is some time between that, and then the time between that and them making up is a lot shorter as well. Because there is no way that after years of establishing a close friendship they will just let that go unresolved for years. They also do not immediately get back together as a couple after making up, nor do they plan to. They're really mostly trying to sort things out together, and that is a process. And in general they just. Communicate a lot more than they do in the game hjfsksdf.
The getting back together part is the first time where it splits, cos it hinges on whether Liam stays closed of and Gets Worse or lets himself open up again to Actually Heal after uh. Everything. And that impacts all his relationships, but becomes the most apparent through Fenris imo (and no this is not bc of "he can't be happy without a romantic partner" or bs like that, the romance (or lack thereof) is an effect here, and not a cause). It's important in the way that Liam gives the position of a romantic partner a lot of weight, and without it is missing an anchor and a support, on top of Everything Else. But i am getting sidetracked now jflskds.
N e way, they do stay very close friends regardless, and are important to each other regardless, and they love each other either way.
Obviously it starts diverting more in the postgame era but this is already way longer than planned so imma leave it here x'D

pleeease keep talking about toys...i think this is interesting and smth i've never thought too hard about but it makes sense and i like to hear your opinions on modern toys

holy shit okay !! i would love to ramble on so, i shall!
okay im no expert on toy sales history, this is all just observation from my life experiences and i'll try to keep each part i want to go over relatively short!
that being said lets start with a small one that i've personally noticed as a canadian: Kinder egg toys! i remember when they used to come with like 4-8+ pieces, and you needed the included step by step manual to assemble them. they would often come with sticker sheets to decorate them with, and they would often be articulated or be set on wheels or have some sort of fun or movement or general functionality to them:
dont those look awesome? wrapped in 2 kinds of chocolate, and for only like 2$! i remember they would come in all shapes and sizes, all sorts of animals and vehicles and sometimes freaky little abominations, as you can see above, and sometimes even puzzles! they were such a special treat as a kid.
but kinder eggs now? come with a maximum of like 3 pieces that just snap together (usually the front and back of the toy, and then the platform they stand on). and thats all they mostly are now, stiff toys that stand on platforms wahhooooo yippeee
idk just look at the quality difference from the old ones above compared to some of the new ones:
like..... these are..... nothing! literally nothing. just a figure snapped to a pole/platform and thats it! not very interesting for more than 3 minutes max.
now i know what you're thinking: "not ALL of the old kinder toys had to have been bangers" and you'd be right, some were lame as hell, but even the lame ones from before look more intricate than the ones we have now, like can you see what i mean, just detail-wise?
it just feels so cheap and shitty, i could go on and on but more is explained later. point is, it sucks.
anyway that's a very small example and we can move onto bigger and better ones, and maybe even one that everyone else might have noticed by now; McDonald's toys! remember when they were actually toys?
and not just stiff figurines?
(the minions franchise was like CRACK for companies who love making profit off of nothing but stiff rounded plastic. probably the cheapest form of "toy" i can think of)
and yeah, again, its not like there werent figurines back in the day too, there's ALWAYS been lame as hell mcdonalds toys, but looking among many modern mcdonalds toys, you dont see anything as cool as the old ones. literally every major modern movie/franchise right now is nothing but figurines. the most recent actually interactive mcd's toy ive seen is when they collabed with hasbro games
again, companies just seem to be pumping out quantities over quality.
but why?
well, for starters toys are becoming cheaper (both in price and quality) because prices have sky rocketed and stores are forced to only stock cheaper things, therefore the cheap things sell the most, and then more of them get made, and statistics get fucked, etc etc the cycle repeats.
but toy companies know one thing, and that's that things that are "cuter" always sell more. "cuter" being used with vitriol because their idea of 'cute' is 'more glitter and sparkles and rainbow colours and obnoxiousness' oh, and dont forget the huge soulless bug eyes on all of them!
i know that people love these things, but theyre so..... uncanny. their stare is piercing, their stance is so stiff, i always felt bad actually playing with the only one of these i had growing up, and not just because it freaked me out, it just genuinely didnt feel good to play with.
and i knoowwwww people are obsessed with these things, but come on, you have to admit theyre SO unoriginal! theyre just cookie cutter shapes!
these things are horrifying and, at best, belong on a shelf.
these "beany boos" are so woobified and almost feel like a flanderized version of a stuffed animal, and they've completely taken over "beanie babies", which were wonderful soft little things that actually had movement and weren't stiff to cuddle! I also feel like they're almost trying to copy what webkinz was, in a way, as some of those were stiff too (but still loveable and not burdened with an uncanny, vacant stare)
anyway this is getting insanely long and im sorry but i feel like im going insane every time i see new toys nowadays. the like.... "cuteification" of everything is driving me insane, and the fact that they are simply just lower quality than what we used to get, because of prices rising and causing easy-to-make things to become more and more popular.
examples to further prove these points:
extreme woobifying or "cuteification" by almost completely removing all horse anatomy in favour of thin limbs, heavy makeup eyes that are now on the front of her face, and modern influencer eyebrows. on a horse.
and the extreme-simplifying of toys can be seen quite well on those mini polly pocket sets!! see this one here?
almost allllll of those little plastic things could be rotated or rearranged or moved or fucked with in some manner, it was awesome. i loved these miniature houses they always came with so much shit. wanna guess what the newer ones look like?
you guessed it, like shit!!
man even beyblades used to come with like, all sorts of different pieces both metal and plastic alike, and you had to assemble them yourself and you could interchange pieces to obtain a different weight which would affect your attacks against other beyblades, etc etc:
and looking at them now? they seem to be mostly made of- yep, you guessed it, hard cheap plastic.
anyway holy shit i literally reached the 30 image limit on a single post tumblr really said thats ENOUGH !! i cant believe i just spent that long talking about the worlds most pointless thing but at any rate i hope you enjoyed it and i hope you see my vision. because like i said im not insanely knowledgeable on any of this in particular, but its hard not to notice the decline in quality of all of todays modern toys.

uhhhh ok i feel like i wanna explain the multiple doctors thing JKGJFKF how do u not know this.......,,, no matter! i will. explain >:] so there's one Person. the doctor ys? they are an alien from a planet very far away. it has two suns is very pretty. also its destroyed rn but thats a whole storyline i Don't want to get into. also their species (the timelords) treated them horribly so they have an attachment to earth and humans because we are :] nicer :]
um so because they can't keep one actor being the doctor like . forever. its going to have its 60th anniversary next year so like. they couldn't have stayed kgkgjfkfj. they give each one like 3 seasons roughly? and a few christmas specials etc etc and then the doctor regenerates into a new incarnation of themselves. they can't control Anything about this which is a uhhhhhh .genetic defect because the rest of the timelords Can. or could. they're sorta dead. lol. but because the show started 60 years ago + some of the older writers are a mix of racist and misogynistic, historically the doctor has been played by a bunch of white men. BUT . when the doctor regenerated on screen for the 12th time (going into the 13th incarnation) here we start winning . the first female doctor!!!!! the backlash was stupid misogynistic and literally so bad that ppl Stopped watching. also they complained that the writing was shitty which was kinda fair but also !! u can live a little. maybe shitty writing is how we stay grounded. i love my shitty little show with its bad special effects. gimme a tardis sound and ill go insane for a month im a simple guy. BUT ANYWAY first female doctor. (she's my favourite btw. and then after her its nine :])

awsf spoilers: this smau can either have a bad ending or a good ending but i don’t wanna make moas frustrated so i’m gonna stick to the good ending
i’m just gonna explain how frustrating i find awsf and why i don’t even bother writing it unless
this will be very complicated to explain so basically it starts off with yn and their volleyball team complaining how they have a game against the school they hate the most (jyp) and so yn goes on to dm their online friend group which includes beomgyu their enemy who is also referred as gyu online and talks about how much they hate jyp students and so gyu is like making things more positive while the rest are shitting on the school and yn is like very happy to know how gyu is always making the convo very positive cause yn does NOT like negative things so on the day of the game, hybe (their school) wins and so yn is like telling gyu how they won again but then gyu finds out that they go to hybe but never tells them so then gyu is like figuring out who it is and yeah btw this is like the plot, it shows them bickering a lot in the smau but yeah also this smau is very episodic but the plot is connected in a way and then around the climax, the plot gets very important. the climax is where yn finds out that gyu is actually their enemy, beomgyu and so theyre very baffled and out of the blue, theyre suddenly nice to him and beomgyu is like “wtf why are they so nice to me” and so beomgyu goes online and privately dms ny (which is also yn but thats their nickname online) (btw he always dms them privately cause atp he’s very very close with ny) and rants to them how their enemy is suddenly nice and then ny is like saying how they “probably” feel bad for all these arguments and so they become friends 😱 but then yn remembers how they have a crush on gyu AND THEN YN IS LIKE “wait wtf so if i like gyu does that mean i like…BEOMGYU?:!!:+@$3)383):!” so one day yn is like to beomgyu “we should try going out on a date” and so they did and then after bonding, BEHIND EACH OTHERS BACK, THEY CALL EACHOTHER ENDEARMENTS AND THEY SHOW AFFECTION TO EACH OTHER WITHOUT EVEN REALISING IT SO THEY SLOWLY BECOME A COUPLE AND THEN ONE DAY BEOMGYU IS LIKE “since when did i ask u to be my partner?” and then yn realises that they never officially became a couple so yk what happens, they DO officially become a couple 😊 the end. yes i copied this from my convo with soph but who cares

Zak, I need to thank you for getting me to watch Encanto because OH MY GOD YOU WERE RIGHT, THIS MOVIE IS INCREDIBLE!! Honestly, I had 0 plans of watching this until I saw your posts, and then I was intrigued, and now I'm so glad I did!! I grew up the eldest daughter of an Asian family so I really related to both the older sisters! I think a lot people like mr had to face exceedingly high expectations because they were expected to "set a good example for their siblings". I think my favourite line in the movie was from Isabela: "What could I do if I just knew it didn't need to be perfect; it just needed to be, and they'd let me be." BECAUSE SAME I'VE BEEN ASKING THIS QUESTION ALL MY LIFE
And oh my god, Abuela's flashback at the end tore me to a thousand fucking pieces, I cried so much 😭 I see so much of my own grandmother in Abuela, especially since the story of how my family came to settle here is unfortunately very similar to how Abuela came to settle in the village, genocide and all. And I understood why she acted the way she did. It doesn't necessarily justify her actions, but it explains a lot. As an immigrant, my grandmother always felt like she had to constantly had prove to the community that her and her family was not a burden, that she was useful, and that only by doing so will they be accepted, and only by doing so will all the sacrifices not be in vain. I like to think that maybe Abuela thought the same way.
ANYWAYYY thank you for bringing me to this movie, I cried a lot but I'm really happy I found it!! Happy New Year!! Here's to everyone trying to work through generational trauma, it sure as hell isn't easy, but at least none of us are alone <3

IT'S A RLLY INCREDIBLE MOVIE. for me, nothing missed. A+ music, frigging inspired scenes and utilizations of the south american magical fiction vibes, this very good article "Disney’s Encanto isn’t just about representation — it’s an act of defiance" written by José María Luna made shed a new light to everything i already loved about the movie, and yep yep
the characters n plot
huge agree on isabela's theme being the Perfect One, gosh, and im rlly glad her song was able to resonate with u. genuinely, this movie had a character for everybody to relate to. like, my older sister (not the eldest but the eldest girl sibling in the family) hugely related to luisa and her vibes of needing to be the strong one who always shoulders every problem. and i....hugely fucking related with mirabel //sobs
the entire lyrics and scene of Waiting For A Miracle did not have to go that fucking hard. lyrics alone (i had listened to the song before watching the movie) already made me cry, what with the undercurrent of "im not like my family, i am a part of my family but im not great like them" like whew huge mood haha. im part of a family thats obv not magical but might as fucking well be. literally everybody is like......so goddamn renowned in their field. a legendary polsci professor mom who so many admire who creates such meaningful literal change in the world, a dad whos written amazing plays that have been performed for decades to the point that theyre ingrained into a special tradition, and my siblings already have made names for themselves in places that matter and---yOU GET THE POINT. the song alone hit too hard
i was not prepared for the scene itself. this....joyous occasion, everybody is happy, and mirabel is happy too but. shes not in the picture. she looks at the picture of the family and it's a perfect picture and idk theres that feeling. look at this family, it's perfect and happy and brilliant so long as im not there. the mediocre middle child, the one who hasnt done anything of note, the one thats not special in the slightest.
it's a fucked up sentiment to have nurtured in a person; the thought that youre the only hang-up stopping these people you love truly achieving absolute joy and excellence. the song shifts, mirabel wants to be more, she wants to be like them, if only she was like them, she'd do so much, shes ready, but all that drives the contrast home. me and them, different people.
pause from my oversharing but heres a funny thing that lives in my brain rent free: in middle school, a classmate met my family and enthusiastically told me "your family is so cool! you should be more like them :D"

- my first actual fanfic would have been when i was about 8? it was for sailor moon but it was literally only in a journal i had. i presume that counts. so that would put us at 24 years lmao
- on this blog specifically, since april 2017
4. on which platforms do you post your stories?
- here and AO3
5. what is your favourite genre to write?
- aaaaangst lmao and horror/suspense. i love really dark things, and have always had a fascination in writing things that disturb me? i think its from an analytical or psychological perspective, exploring the limits of humanity and processing for myself why these things make me uncomfortable/where i feel them on my body/what is fear vs disgust idk. also very much enjoy fantasy/supernatural.
6. are you a pantser or a planner?
- almost always i have a plan, however there are some fics that come out of nowhere and i just have to write them. examples of this are enough and love; always
7. one shot or multi-chapter?
- i usually try very hard to keep things as a one shot, and reserve series for things that actually have substance enough to extend past 3 chapters. lately, all my ideas have been very plot heavy or come from worlds i am very interested in exploring and/or have aspects of emotion i want to work through. if i cant keep it to a one shot (like...under 30k) i will make it a series and ill be angry at myself lmao
8. what is the perfect chapter length in your opinion?
- anywhere from 5-9k is a solid, average chapter length for me. some chapters, in hero for example, need to be more than this because theyre the heavy plot chapters. i have been trying not to focus on lengths anymore, just want to write until the story is told
9. what is your longest published story? is it complete?
- the longest story ive ever written is 154k in a different fandom and yes its complete. at the moment, hero is breaching 98k and i imagine it will be my longest when its completed
10. which story did you enjoy working on the most?
- when it comes to series, hero and time runner will, and always will be, the most special things ive ever done. i feel at home and myself when im writing them. im in love with writing them. the ideas are so strong, and the characters are so loud and clearly defined it just is the best time making art ive ever had.
- for one shots, light sakura was truly catharsis. i needed to write that. its the most personal, vulnerable thing ive ever written and will probably never produce something like that again unless theres another major event in my life. also absolutely adored writing molotov cocktail and empty vessels. those are both the easiest 30k ive ever produced
11. favourite request you’ve have written and why (if any?)
- brooklyn is burning was technically a request and im extremely partial to it
12. are there reoccurring themes in your stories?
- oh yeah. usually my female characters are working through bad relationships or finding their voices, seeking identity and power in worlds that dont necessarily provide that. i write what i feel and what ive lived, the worlds around the characters are just exaggerations of reality and my imagination. theres always a little piece of me in my stories, and usually that piece comes down to them learning to trust which is something i struggle with
13. current number of wips?
- please i cannot share this number, not when im ashamed of the amount lmao
14. three things you have noticed about your own writing?
1. smut is insanely hard for me
2. fluff is almost impossible, and could be considered my weakness. happiness is an external feeling, an outward experience. im a very bodied writer and finding joy or finding small bits of romance is difficult (largely because i live alone) so i will over explain aspects of the idol character or highlight small actions in the effort of holding onto them
3. i am still learning to trust the process

i'm sorry, but i don't quite understand how that's transphobic. could you please explain how chihiro is transmisogynistic? (sorry if i come off as rude - that's not my intention and i genuinely just don't understand, though i would like to!!)
What is transmisoginy?

Chihiro is written to mock trans women, to say that in reality trans women are secretly men, she is a man who is weak and uses being trans as a way to escape her problems, this is a thing that is also said to trans men a lot, that theyre just trying to avoid the hard parts of being a woman by becoming a man. Even if the writters intended it to be like that or not (which they probably did because transphobia is a big thing that happens a lot, obviously) it's still transmisogynistic. Thats that on that
This is a pretty common transphobic trope actually, the "Turns out this one character was actually from the opposite sex??!!", theres more examples of this in other games outside Danganronpa.
But also her experience is pretty different from other examples, her experiences are way too similar with trans womens experiences.

These dialogues can be read in two ways, the first one being the one the game tries the hardest to put in your head thats shes a man, all of this guessed by other people btw not what she herself says. Which is really transphobic, because she was written as a trans woman and then theyre like "uh no actually hes a man, because he was born as one but hes a coward so he started to dress as a woman to hide from his problems. Because thats what people do right? People who dress as their oppossite gender are so pathetic, specially men amiright? Ahaha"
Reading it in this way really weird, you're doing a lot of mental gymnastics because you would literally call her a trans woman with all of this if the rest of the trial, that consists of cis people assuming shes a man, didn't happen. And sadly you're following transphobic ideas by this. Because the canon is transphobic and transmysoginistic.
And the other way is just read what she says, that she just wants to be stronger and stop lying to everyone, basically about being cis, because shes not, shes amab (assigned male at birth) and thats probably what she said to Mondo, but most people when a trans person who already passes or is in their transition comes out many people tend to think "oh so youre your gender assigned at birth and not the one you claim to be?", because they don't get what being trans is and they think only "biological gender" is a thing. Basically, misgendering and invalidating the trans person.
I can guess all of this just because of how vague they decided to make her dialogue, not even showing how she tells Mondo about being amab.
What did she said to Mondo? "I'm trans"? "I'm a man"? "I was born a man"? We dont know, because they didn't show it and she died right afterwards and then everyone was like "Chihiro was secretly a man" to solve the case and thats it. A lot of people in the discourse get their information from Monokuma who isn't either Chihiro or even Mondo. Monokuma knows many things but he can't read minds to know if she was really trans or not, only she could say it but she died so she couldn't explain if shes trans or not.

So. There is a lot to unpack here, but I want to start with something that specifically hurts me as a trans woman, and that's how the game flippantly uses real world horrors trans people face as shocking reveals and twists. You can go down the list for "worst nightmares" of trans people incluiding:
Threatening to be outed against your wishes
Outing yourself to a trusted friend and being met with rejection, or worse, violence
Having your body and privacy examined and invaded
Having your deadname used and being misgendered after death, when you can't correct them ]
Now, let's go to her backstory for a bit. I will be using the wiki for this. (Which sadly uses he/him for her 💔)
" When Chihiro was a child, he became the subject of harassment and bullying. He was always told to "be a man" and that he was "so weak despite being a boy", and because of that, Chihiro slowly but surely began to develop a "weakness complex". In order to escape the bullying, Chihiro began to dress as a girl so that people wouldn't bully him as a weak boy. "
This doesn't sound like a normal crossdresser, this sounds like a trans woman who was bullied for being different when she was younger, like many trans people, and then she decided to transition because she's a woman, she wanted to be more feminine and stop being seen as a person shes not. Specially after so many people tell her to basically man up when she doesn't want that, because shes not a man.
Have you ever heard of the classic stories of "since I was little i knew i was different, i was a boy who liked playing with dolls and was more feminine than the rest" or "i used to be a tomboy when i was little, i had mostly male friends, i liked playing with car toys and was more masculine than other kids" coming from trans people? This just sounds as these types of stories to me.
People also like to say that alter ego uses he/him pronouns and says shes a boy. Many trans people can misgender themselves for personal reasons too guys, she could've been trying to misgender herself because she didn't felt like she wasn't enough to be a real woman, this happens a lot to trans people. If people constantly tell you that you're not actually transgender or you just feel like you're faking it then you might actually believe it, thats were most "detransitioners" come from. And thats basically what they made her, a detransitioner.
Some of you might also don't get how shes trans because you think she doesn't perfect or exact trans stereotypes. Trans experiences can be similar on the feeling of not fitting in, dysphoria, etc. But trans experiences, stories, transitions and complete lifes can be very different, because we all (including cis people) live different lifes, experience, process and cope with things differently. So i can understand why you might not get her being trans coded at first, don't worry. But try instead of just not caring because you don't get it at the first try, to see what trans people say.
This whole discourse its mostly cis people talking over trans people about their own experiences (incluiding the dead trans coded characters experience) saying if theyre valid or not and denying stuff not wanting to learn anything, completely refusing to it because "In canon hes a boy" ok then in canon shes written in a transphobic way too but most of you don't care about that. You would rather call her a crossdresser than try to acknowledge how obviously trans coded she is and how thats used as transphobia.
The way most cis people act in this discourse is very transphobic to me to be honest, if you think you're a good ally but act like this then you should get more educated on the topic as a whole and about trans people too.

I really hate how fucking fake and badly acted that scene was when Maggie’s dad and Winston’s grandma objected to the marriage. Why did they wait until then and EMBARRASS both of them???? Like you said, what the hell was the point of last episode’s whole debacle???? They could’ve just not done that plot in ep 16 and had them get married anyway in ep 17 and had someone object to their marriage.
Can’t believe Maggie flew two old people around the country during a goddamn pandemic. How irresponsible is it???? Again, I don’t know if it’s because they’re just way more relaxed in the states than where I’m from but wth....

s17: episode 4, goth kids 3: dawn of the posers. probably my fav goth kids centric episode ^_^ its so good n funny
s18: episode 3, the cissy. starts sniffling and crying again, but this time in transgender mode. i also love episode 6, freemium isnt free bc we get another Glimpse into stans issues w addiction ^_^ peace and love on planet earth
s19: episode 6, tweek x craig. love wins, gay ptide, etc etc
s20: um. i actually kinda hated this season. but ig if i Had to choose one, itd be episode 10, the end of serialization as we know it, bc it finally ended that season ^_^ no offense to any s20 stans out there, i just thought it was so boring
s21: episode 2, put it down. tweek n craig content, gay ptide ^_^ this is also the one where we learned that tweek can sing, play piano, And bake, and we also got to see craig learn how to support tweek better, which was very sweet ^_^
s22: episode 10, bike parade. i didnt super love this season either, so its kinda a case of picking the one i wasnt bored with. plus in a way it kinda felt like one of the original episodes, it was like a lil blast from the past !
s23: episode 2, band in china ^_^ we got stans band, crimson dawn !! it was great learning more abt how stan felt abt having to move to a farm, plus butters ripping it on a guitar was so funny. and then randy did stuff too idk
s24: this season has just been the 2 specials so far, but i liked the vaccination special, episode 2 the best ^_^ bc 1, the brovorce arc started, n im rly excited to see what happens with that. and also the way it ended left me hopeful that maybe the shows gonna go back to the way it used to be a little bit <3 i also liked how we saw stan gettin really mentally ill with freaking out over the pandemic, but that mightve been in the first episode instead...

thank you! and lol i was kind of joking about leaving the p5 fandom but uhhh I don’t think i’ll be drawing much more p5 because I think I got it out of my system. also tbh I don’t know if I actually like p5?? or if I just had a lot of shit I wanted to express and say about it via fanart. I had like this whole agenda where I wanted to make p5 art based on a more noir...almost graphic american comics style because I felt like that was the most interesting thing about the game’s art direction and not a lot of fanartists cashed in on it. Also I wanted to depict like a very specific shuake vibe that wasnt too romantic but also not ... completely un-romantic. something that really capitalized on the fact that they’re just terrible teens. idk. anyways I like the work I made for the fandom and I think I managed to say everything I wanted to say w it.
I AM signed up for a shuake zine though so expect an encore before I sign out completely LOL.

I thought the scene where takato confesses to juri was incredibly lovely but it’s well done because it’s not particularly romantic or ship-indulgent its like... all about the way kids attach to each other when they feel out of place or scared. and how simply someone can become special to you at that age.
if i mentally age them up a little I could see kazu and kenta being a fun ship. they had that one episode where they were like. kind of a parallel for those married digimon?? which is deeply amusing.
also I think ruki is a baby lesbian. just the way she dismisses every boy but is obsessed with even the most random girl they encounter...! but i think her rivalry with ryo is so so funny because its like a like... little league tcg rivalry. I want to believe that when theyre in middle school ruki and ryo date for like 2 weeks and the plain existence of that relationship wreaks havoc on kazu and kenta who are in weird idol love with ryo and hate ruki but also are friends with ruki. and then they break up because they realize theyre both gay or whatever but kazu and kenta take approx a month to recover from the psychological& emotional damage.
I like ruki/juri too but i have no solid concept of how that would work out...

How it ends up looking painterly.... idk. Because I’m a messy painter and I use big strokes? I don’t really blend but I do use mid-opacity textured brushes when I paint a lot so thats probably part of what makes it look soft/painterly/integrated. I use the lasso for hard edges and then brushes to create soft shapes within them... if that makes sense? SORRY THIS IS HARD TO EXPLAIN, anyways, I have a handful of videos of me drawing on youtube. Theyre really boring because they dont have music and I didn’t bother to edit them in interesting ways but.. theyre there. Maybe itll help?

So like all of the x-books, the occasional teen hero and the occasional indie. I was thinking of dropping Wolverine and Cable but idk... Cable sort of won me over during x of swords and if wolverine brings adam kubert back I think I’ll start digging it again LOL. I jumped onto Guardians on a whim but its suddenly become one of my favorite books along with S.W.O.R.D... so I guess I have to go back and read Immortal Hulk at some point, become a true Al Ewing stan.
Far Sector is my only DC pull atm but also I loved a lot of the GN releases this past year and Wonder Woman Dead Earth is like my favorite 2020 comic actually. So dc imprints are KICKING ALL KINDS OF ASS. main dc tho.... idk. I’m kind of eyeing the new robin book but I think thats where my interest ends.

I'm very shy and emotional, im also very jealous (scorpio moon things <3) but i never act on my jealousy in a toxic way, i just sorta get sad abt it : (but i'm very nurturing and i try to be as kind as possible. i'm also not very confrontational and i'm a people pleaser, i get annoyed very easily too which isn't great.
i love english literature, theatre and history! i especially love learning about queens and fashion history. my favourite play is Much Ado About Nothing by Shakespeare and my favourite book is The Dead Poets Society. Although i love Little Women (i love Amy so much!) and i'm taking English Literature, History and Government and Politcs for A-levels.
my aesthetic is very coquette, think pretty lace, henleys, skirts and pearls. i also love dior, their lipglosses are so cute!! cardigans too, theyre very comfy and sweet looking. green is my absolute favourite colour but its so hard to fit it into my aesthetic so i just buy a lot of plants :)
my favourite artists are Kate Bush, Hozier, Lana Del Rey and Taylor Swift (Taylor is my favourite overall though). My favourite songs by taylor are The Moment I Knew, the last great american dynasty, Last Kiss, Dear John, right where you left me and You are in love!

Bucky's eyes widened, seeing the look on your face and instantly offered to give you, his jacket. it honestly looked pretty cute despite it not exactly matching your outfit. when the movie ended, you handed Bucky his jacket back, outside the theater and he realized you left something in his pocket. it was your number! and he called you the next day, inviting you to dinner later.
first kiss: one of your favorite songs was playing loudly in the car while Bucky drove you back home. once you two arrived, you didn't really want to leave his car, so you guys sat there, singing the song. it was chaotic but so lovely. it's one of Bucky's favorite memories. at the peak of the song, he looked at you the same time you looked at him, and something between you two just snapped into place, it was perfect. and you two leaned in, and he held your face close, kissing your lips deeply. you found yourself mumbling the lyrics against his cheek after pulling away for air, and he smiled brightly.
first anniversary: he bought you everything he knew you liked. even some things that you already had - but he explained that if one got dirty like back at the movies, then you can have the other one! he also got you a few custom-made necklaces using some pearls he saved from long ago. while putting it on your neck, he leaned down and kissed you, murmuring how much he loves you. your gift to him was special as well. you knew most of his memories of his past were too painful to confront, so you decided that he needed to make new memories of something fun! you took him to a lake, and had a picnic prepared. it was honestly so sweet, and you hid a few small gifts for him in the box, letting him open it. he was so surprised and happy he thanked you so many times.
