Since most if not all of the Stricklake fans agree that Barbara and Walter would do the matching cloth thing I thought I may draw something.

He dosen't like this Idea at first.

Idk why but I think Barbara would see those T-shirts and buy them just to see Walter in this.

He wasn’t happy about it. But you can see a small smile in the second picture.

Here are some Infos about my Strickler headcanons:

• I think that he gets ear piercings after the battle against Morgana because he finally starts to be his better self and does what he wants. Breaking out of her chains. And the two earring on his left ear are from Barb because he always wants her to be with him.

• And he definitely lets his hair grow out more because i think it looks good and same as the first. I think that his short hair reminded him of his time in the dark lands. I think that he had the old habit to cut his hair short because as a soldier he probably had to. But after the battle he breaks out of this habit to finally let his old self behind.

• Barbara. BRAIDS. HIS. HAIR. Sorry but it had to be. I am 100% sure that when his hair gets shoulder length then Barb will braid him a small mini braid in it (for reference: Like Astrid did with Hiccups hair in httyd2) and she tries a lot of new hair styles. And he never touches the braid.

• I believe that he is very tired of fighting. He will fight and kill if nessecary but he dosen't really want to especially after fighting his whole life. He most likely is a big softy now and just protects his wife.

• He hates his birthday and Barbara needed ages to find it out only to be told that he actually isn’t quite sure because he probably never really got or did a party for it. And I think that she makes a big party and that this T-shirts were one of her gifts. At first he hates it but it grows on him. And she bought him a Joke book wich was her greatest mistake-

• Also after loosing his Human form he is a bit more awkward in public about being practically half naked in his troll form so i think he covers up very much until he realizes that it doesn't really matter to anyone. But still he mostly covers up in public... not for Barbara tho-

(Okay wait I saw someone else post about hallucination, can I yell about one of the songs?)

I'm just. Insane over the emotion poured into the live version of AKAA. I didn't expect this song to hit me so hard but Shun Horie really packed it with even more sadness and desperation than the original, and it was the death of me. My favorite part of the song has always been the "mama" section, and the fact that he sounds like he's crying through it??? The two held-out screams at the end????

And the visuals make me equally crazy. The fact that he committed to the blue hair and full outfit makes it really feel like Haruka is there on stage. It really got to me realizing this was his dream come true. He's the center of attention. He's under the spotlight. Finally. He has a huge crowd watching him, looking at him, cheering for him, loving him. He looks so small surrounded by all those people. He looks out to them in disbelief, in pleading.

I don't know man. I'm emotional.

#thank you!#softest beds is a whole new compliment that's so sweet #let me go off on a weird and personal tangent for a minute #I've always found the concept of sleeping very touching somehow #it's this mandatory resting period literally everyone has to plan their life around no one has the power to avoid sleeping #if you neglect it your mind and body start to break down very quickly #sleep is such a neutral state of being no one is particularly sad or happy or evil or good while they're asleep they're just logged off #sleeping feels nice it's rejuvenating it's one of the few universal pleasures every single person has an access to #and I find it terribly cute how people have different little bedtime rituals #socks on socks off various pillow and blanket arrangements certain sounds that make them sleepy etc #and sleeping next to someone is such an act of trust #it's extremely intimate as is sex doesn't necessarily have to factor into it #getting comfortable and going unconscious with someone at the same place at the same time that just touches my heart #especially if you're invited into their bed which is a very private space a person's own little nest where the world can't reach them #even if you fall asleep in public transport there's this vulnerability to it and for the most part people respect the sanctity of sleep #and tend to leave sleeping people alone at least in my limited experience #I like drawing my characters sleeping because it feels like I'm doing them a favor granting them a little respite #anonymous #answered

i could KILL him for this. motherfucker's every interaction with children has him being, if not nice, then at minimum kind and forgiving and genuinely invested in their wellbeing.

he asks crying kids what's the matter, he's afraid to hold a baby because he's worried he'll drop it, he goes after people who are mean to kids without a second thought. his whole mentorship with timothy hunter is him trying to do right by that kid no matter how he feels about it at the time. man would be the most loving dad in the world but because of his own awful goddamn father and the ways he thinks he takes after thomas, he doesn't think that's true. i hate.

i saw a post saying boom was good bc it feels like it could be done with any doctor/companion duo and honestly that was one of the things i felt was wrong with it

#in a show with a title character that could be Literally Anyone and a companion sharing the lead that could be Literally Anyone #i value the little moments that set this duo apart from the rest. ESPECIALLY when it comes to returning writers like rtd/moff #fifteen and ruby felt a little too eleven/twelve and clara adjacent in boom. in both their dialogue and characterization #space babies also landed a little weird at first bc it lifted a bit from end of the world BUT the scenes that fifteen and ruby #had to themselves. like ruby getting covered in snot and fifteen laughing. or fifteen and ruby looking after the Space Babies #or fifteen going out of his way to save the monster bc that monster is the only one of its kind Just Like Him Fr #that stuff is so good and its also something we haven't seen from another nuwho doctor. the vulnerable bleeding-heart empathy #and a dynamic w a companion that is basically 'two troublemakers that just deeply love fun and adventure and getting into trouble together'#oh yeah and also the devil's chord was peak fiction because it touches on fifteen's renewed connection and love for humanity #and marries it to ruby being a musician and how music like any art is the expression of the human soul etc etc #WHAT MAKES A DOCTOR WHO STORY GOOD TO ME IS PARTLY HOW THE PREMISE TIES INTO THE DOCTOR AND COMPANION'S CHARACTERS #IT HAS TO FEEL LIKE IT WAS TAILOR MADE TO THEM.
