What is your favorite Nuzi headcanon? Either one you’ve made, or someone else!

well i thought a lot about this and i may have a slightly unpopular opinion, but here it goes anyway-

[this is MY opinion btw, im just saying the stuff i LIKE, this doesnt mean id DISLIKE anything that ISNT this]

i like headcanons where N and Uzi try to imitate more human things and cultures- whatever that might mean- either going around searching in malls or whatever or the human corpses for the stuff that was left behind- or trying to celebrate and learn about human cultures, like holidays- or heck, headcanons about the drones being able to process human food- or IMITATED human food with their own snacks-

call me a killjoy but im not crazy about seeing powerful industrial machinery with highly advanced AI and learning abilities being dumbed down to animalistic instincts.

lest we forget that for all the tail wagging and oil hunger and wing flappings that exist on the characters as external designs, they also have understanding of weaponry, aviation, battle tactics, and complex understandings of technological work- they have tastes in careers, plushies, sports, fancy dresses and music- they are literally trying to be human; and while i dont outright dislike or hate animalistic traits given to them like tail wagging and purring [id be a hypocrite if i said id HATE it since i use those qualities my own headcanons too, lets face it, its adorable :"3 ] i just wish there was more art/fics/etc of N and Uzi trying to do some normal human stuff too- since the imitation of non human creatures trying to BE more humane yet still being somewhere in the uncanny valley or just awkward segments of the process just really facinates me.

kinda like jack and sally from nightmare before christmas [but less creepy smh]- trying to do something they arent quite made for but still trying anyway<3

i do agree with the ones that mention niki haha those are true rinne is absolutely smitten but the ones that say its like. because hes rinne amagi. and others thay were probably filtered out by the OP... people that either didnt read the main story or just dont want to look further lmao

overall im very disappointed in a lot of the answers given for the voting so ive stayed off twitter almost all day today and yesterday. i fear like with stuff like this a very silent population of eng side shines through, the one that specifically Doesnt actually engage with the story and goes off fanon interpretation. look, im not saying its necessarily a bad thing. but when it comes to stuff like this, where people grossly mischaracterize a grand majority of charas or narrow them down to be the butt of a joke, or use it as an excuse to be plain racist/ableist, i feel like people really need to reassess where all of this is coming from. like. not rinne, but KANAME couldnt even be included because the answers used for his votes were, in their majority, apparently ableist, and op (definitely in the right, i think this was the right choice to make) chose not to post at all because they feared the qrts would be just as bad. because for some reason people seem to think that because they're fictional characters that being ableist is somehow ok, that saying they would "pull the plug" on charas like him and eichi is fine because theyre not real people – as if there werent disabled or chronically ill people in this fandom, in every fandom, or hell, around you?

and lets not mention tatsumi and people blatantly misinterpreting his christianity as something he would force upon others – first of all, western christianity does not apply to tatsumi. at all. i understand that people might find it easy to just associate him with that and make "haha, he would make me convert" or "haha he would be a homophobe" quips, and obviously its not necessary to have extensive knowledge on kirishitan history in japan and how they are, to this day, a minority that was persecuted for a lot of japan's modern history. LIKE, EVEN FROM HIS DIALOGUE IN ANY STORY.. when has he given off that impression? cite your sources, he's literally one of the most inclusive and accepting charas in the whole cast! not a prejudiced white christian middle aged mom...

i think that if you absolutely must reduce a character to tasteless jokes, stereotypes that arent even funny to begin with, and you refuse to even read the source content at all to correct yourself, you really need to think about how you engage with any media, not just enstars. if you want to look at the pretty characters just say that! but dont be like this, and don’t speak on things you don’t fully understand as if you did just to make a point or be funny! 

OKAY RINNE SORRY LOL i hate it. i hated all of it and judging by the ratio many people seemed to dislike it as well (god bless!). if you havent seen it i wont link it bc tbf i dont feel like looking at it again (peace and love) but the answers summed up are like "oh he would steal my money" "hes selfish and would take stuff from me and not gaf about my wellbeing" "hes married to niki already" the last one being the only one i agree with. and it makes me think about a lot of issues with how a good portion of the fandom sees rinne. ive seen a lot of people read rinne in bad faith, regardless of whether theyve read main story, hot limit or any story rinne is in. and i dont get it, genuinely. YES he can be upsetting! he can be an asshole, he can be rude, he DOES steal money from niki! but these people neglect to see or mention that he gives it back and then some. they fail to talk about how he spends a lot of his time trying to make niki see his self worth!! since hiiro was BORN he's been trying to get him to understand that he's deserving of love!! that YES he can be a dick but ultimately treats crazy:b and his friends with love and wants what's best for them! these are the same ppl that think he's abusive or something idk i can only assume. like yeah rinne has a carefully crafted persona where hes a complete dickhead and ig some players cant really bother to see past that act

unfortunately rinne himself is built on a few harmful stereotypes of ainu culture irt the drinking, being portrayed or viewed as more 'uncouth' by other characters, etc which is why the initial more explicit ties to ainu culture were removed altogether from his and hiiros design and background. it is understandable, which is for example why it's not really my place to say whether he can be interpreted as ainu or not, and even so, i try not to rely on those aspects of him because it still veers into sensitive territory. and its an unfortunate part of his character, but undeniably, rinne amagi DOES drink, (he's one of the only characters in main cast of drinking age anyway) does partake in harmful behaviors, but fsr suddenly that means hes nothing but a drunkard, to a lot of people. when reading rinne you really have to take these things and ofc, consider that theyre relevant to his character, but it's not all there is...? in the slightest..? there used to be a tweet thread explaining this link further but it's either been taken down or the account has been locked. either way, just a bit of googling goes a long way. i'd rather not go into too much detail here because i don't feel informed enough beyond pointing these issues out, and i personally feel like it's not really my place. if anybody wants to add onto this post to cite more specific sources please feel free

he's such a fun loving, cunning, caring guy who helps people get jobs (dance of the white tiger), who volunteers to play with kids at a daycare (asobi), and wishes so badly to become an idol and grant everyone the same opportunities if theyd like to be, as well (main story, sudden death SUDDEN DEATH IS MY FAV STORY AFTER HL BUT THE TL IS DOWN....SORRY. but i really really think it's one of the most important ones when it comes to rinne's character and motivations. also if u can read it in app it's even better bc it's voiced and theres a line where he's like "oh this guy's [niki] is engaged to me" when talking to kohaku's sister AND HE SOUNDS FULLY SERIOUS TOO....)

don't get me started on people who dumb him down as if he wasn't one of the most clever characters in the game. and unknowingly, people that continue to make rinne's character out to simply be a gambling flirty drunkard who doesn't know how to control himself, as if there weren't other facets of him – they lean into stereotypes, bordering on racism, even if its not malicious or theyre not aware. and it makes me so sad. a lot of the time these interpretations are spread around and then liking characters like him becomes some sort of moral debate, esp in current fandom (which is one of the reasons i think this stereotyping? happens? b/c ive found that fandom sometimes has the tendency of grabbing characters and mischaracterizing them so BADLY that liking them makes you a bad person..? not necessarily villains either! i promise it's okay to just dislike characters without making stuff up!)

that aside also suggesting he'd be an awful, neglectful spouse is simply incorrect. i very firmly believe that if rinne is devoted, he will drop every vice, every pretense, to make the other person happy. he's Like That in the story and towards niki because they keep tiptoeing around the subject but the second he gets an inner monologue, or is truly being genuine, you can tell he would do anything for him, if niki would just let him. to say that rinne isn't capable of being a good partner because he'll treat you badly or not care about you just proves to me that you're not reading any scene he is actually in. if rinne loves you, romantic or not, he will go big or go home. read hot limit btw

ponies i think the cast likes

teruko: she loves cute n feminine stuff, id say shed like fluttershy cuz duh shes cute. she LOVES some other designs like rariety and pinkiepie but will likely not like them for their personality. she finds all of the ponies cute, she has a soft spot for all of them but she def got some preferences.

xander: he loves applejack, pinkie pie and rainbowdash. he loves pinkie cuz shes fun and he loves applejack for her honesty + coolness, and he loves rainbowdahs bc shes cool. he thinks fluttershy's super cute though. hes alright with all of the ponies but hes annoyed with twilight and rarity the most

charles: obviously twilight. like come on shes purple and smart just like him. he'll most likely not like rainbow dash and pinkie pie because of personality reasons. but also he has such a soft spot for fluttershy for her empathy and trusting self, fluttershy's HIS baby. id say he also likes apple jack to some extent because shes pretty grounded.

whit: rarity because she the boss bitch!! i think he likes discord too bc i mean come on they're both fun

david: okay so its complicated with him. when he first watch mlp he'll be neutral or hate all of the ponies because for the most part he focuses on how annoying all of them can be. hell have to rewatch mlp to actually find out which ponies he prefers. but no matter what, hes loves all of them but hates all of them at the same time. but he hates pinkie and rariety and rainbowdash the most. he likes starlight shimmer and discord the most. perhaps he'll like fluttershy bc he likes yellow and shes yellow. he has a toxic relationship with pinkie pie he hates her but somewhat wants to be her hes so jealous of her he just wants to squeeze h.

min: likes twilight the most but i think shed actually like applejack too when it comes to personality

eden: pinkie pie her fav. fluttershy's a close second. she considers all of the characters having such noticble good personalities that she just cant bring herself to hate them. perhaps even dislike them. they're just all so CUTE!!!

rose: she liks all of the ponies they're nice and iconic and their colors go togeter they're all her ponies my little pony friendsss. (but she slightly prefers grounded characters, characters that wont talk much like fluttershy, applejack and twilight)

hu: i think shed love twilight due to her need to be helpful. she somewhat likes rariety due to her being elegant

levi: OBVIOUSLY rariety bc babygirl got styleeeeeee honey

nico: OBVIOUSLY fluttershy i mean come on. shes cute, shes "feminine" , she loves animals and shes quieter than the rest of the cast. she is them and they are she. do yu. understand . also they dont like pinkie pie and rainbowdash too much. mainly bc of hyperness but they dont like rainbowdash for her attitude sometimes.

ace: most likely wont admit it but he likes applejack. he wants to feel safe and secure and apple jack's prolly the one that'll do the perfect job doing that. despite apple jack reminding him of horses the most...

arturu: he dont like all of them theyre foolls ALL fools he says FOOLS . but he like RESPECTS rarity the most out of all of those peasants . Fluttershy gives him the most somber., bittersweet feelings because she reminds him of his sister, and possibly his former life as well.

veronika: she likes rainbowdash bc. maybe bc rainbowdash hyper and wont bore her too much. pinkie pie's an obvious close second. all the ponies have her heart but she prefers some over others, either because they're fun to watch or because their brain interests her. thing is that most of the cast arent really good for studying them. she'll most likely focus on discord, trixie, starlight shimmer , LUNA, and some other former/present antagonists to study. her least favorite is apple jack, bc shes a normie. her soft spot and other fav is LUNA. bc LUNA.

J: she DEFINITELY prefers apple jack. i mean shes one of the """"masculine""" ponies, shes humble, and to be quite honest she ALSO loves that apple jack is grounded, and that she loves her family so much. she wishes her family was as grounded as applejack's family. you'd think she'd probably like rainbowdash because shes also pretty ""masculine"" as well and that J relates to rainbowdash attempting to avoid "girly" stuff, but NAH. J hates how rainbowdash can have a big ass ego, and plus, she sees rainbowdash as "out of touch." J also wouldnt like rarity due to her believing that shes out of touch, but alos because rarity reminds her of her mother

i genuinely dislike him. maybe even hate him. i dont care what pb did to him for rn, im just gonna talk about him as a character

i generally despise any boss/employee relationships (and trust me, ive seen it irl; its never cute its actually obnoxious as hell), but this one will forever and always make me uncomfortable when i really think about it. even playing without picking any extra diamond scenes for ethan, i knew way more about him than i ever wanted to. i know for a fact that he wouldve made jensen genuinely uncomfortable on multiple occasions. the way he treats people who arent patients is genuinely inexcusable. hes put up against people like declan and bloom so he doesnt seem that bad, but, especially in the beginning, he barely regarded the interns as real people with real feelings. there is a difference between tough love and being a complete jackass, and he was most certainly the latter

the only reason he softens up is because of mc, and its bullshit. its not mcs job to like him or correct his behavior. he is a whole adult who should be able to keep his temper tantrums to his damn self in his own home. the excuse that hes passionate is complete garbage; he can be passionate without being mean and intolerable. im not saying he should be a nice person and completely change his demeanor (i actually dislike when this happens in fandom pairings because he barely seems like the same person), but, in his current state, he should not have been overseeing interns

oh and dont even get me started on his trauma card. okay, his mom left. okay, he grew up lonely. okay okay okay to all these things. that is still no reason for him to get away with being a dick. the way he treated mc during the reset times and before that cannot and should not be okay because he has "unresolved issues." then he needs to resolve them!!! no, people are not perfect and good characters shouldnt be either, but there also shouldnt be any way to excuse away all the bad things he did

i think one of the only reasons i really have a problem with all of that is because he is painted like a genius, a dedicated professional, a righteous doctor who is the best of the best, enough so to be a teacher. but, hes not. he was never acknowledged in a bad light beside the occasional throwaway remark about him being stubborn or an asshole. if he was ever regarded as a messed up person with actual issues, then i think id be more okay with it, but hes seriously always shown to be a great person when hes not

Idk who other people dislike, but i think people dont like this guy?? I like Gerald Broflovski. Two Guys Naked in a Hot Tub is one of my favorite episodes, and I think that he was trolling Randy a little bit there too. He's always been a jerk. Also the yelp review episode, and the emphasis on self importance, his being prone to huffing his own farts, and thinking he's better than anyone else is just... oh god its so perfect and good. I think hes a really funny reflection of how people like to think of themselves, and Im not sure if people really hate him or not but if they do its probably because they see parts about themselves they dont like there. but his positive qualities besides being funny: He is totally in love with his wife, he fears his wife, and he isnt afraid to get really kinky with her either. unpopular opinion: honestly i don't know why people take him trying to kill poppyfrost as like an end all thing to saying hes a bad character and not someone you should "side with" over crowfeather. like, i do know why but like this is the murder cat book. most of them kill. the book acts like its both scary and epic. like why are you mocking shadowclan and calling them stupid for mourning russetfur's death at lionblaze's hand after thunderclan invaded them and also clutching your pearls over this? when is it ok to kill in this society? and its also an outlandish action not grounded in reality, while crow's neglect hits closer to home. also breeze is a villain at that point lol hes supposed to do fucked up shit while crow's neglect is painted as misunderstood and uwu sad for him at the end of the day. so yeah i do think its fucked that he did that, but at the same time yeah im not gonna "side with crowfeather" and say he deserved the neglect over it. wtf

so. ffull disclaimer here ichave. not played many zelda games. ive Started some (alttp got to the first dark world dungeon, oot got to the forest temple, majoras mask got to ikana canyon/stone tower, ww got to getting triforce pieces, albw got to the first lorule dungeon, twilight princess i. barely got through due to wanting to finish a game . i got to wolf and midna moment or the second ish act?, and i started triforce heroes.) but ive only finished. 2 games (botw and the minish cap). so my information may be limited here

starting with ones i dislike!

1. crystallizing zelda/keeping her damseled. when shes not in a “disguise” alla tetra and sheik she will be Immediately cast off to the side or trapped. like. i know the usual point of the games is to save zelda (except when. it isnt in the first half of the game) but please let her Do Something…!!! i love sheik and tetra theyre great, its just. as soon as they transform into zelda suddenly their characters and roles are discarded- sheik frame perfectly gets captured by ganondorf when theyre in their princess. state? tetra is a bit better but she and zelda really arent the same person- fuzz punch arcade put it better than i could saying “tetra is a pirate captain, the epitome of free-spirited career nut. zelda, is demure, takes the blame for things she cant control, and drops everything for link and the king.” this is probably a larger issue but. i dunno having zelda be . less of a concept would be nice? or like in games like botw, itd be nice if she wasnt a cutscene character but rather an npc who you can directly talk to. they almost did this in totk. with botw i understand it doesnt really work with the story, only working for post game . if. if there was one. but yeah. also this doesnt mean everyone has to like her or even put her in like. fanworks if they dont want to. some zelda games dont even have zelda in them like majoras mask its just if youre Going to do her please do her better

2. the monsters being Directly tied to ganon. like in oot its fine, great even, because those are boss monsters in specific circumstances (and also have the general theme of being parasites in the first half, the second half they just guard the sages). im talking about Every monster being tied to ganon in some way (like botw or totk). it makes him less of a guy who does things and more not a guy but the devil incarnate whos so so So evil trust me guys look hes even the source of monsters. how. hes That Evil. this is taking some liberties as monsters may have existed before ganon or at least the calamity in botw they were just docile, and in totk the shrines took care of the monsters but where they came from is up to debate, with the memory of ganon getting the stone i believe showing the. creation????? respawning of monsters it really does feel like they Come From Him though.

3. villages having one race exclusively. ive said this before but id like there to be villages where hylians and zora and gorons and rito and sheikah and gerudo live Together would be nice. especially in botw theres. ruins of settlements near places like rito village that have hylian esque designs. so rito and hylians could have lived in the same village. they technically do this in minish cap? the humans cant. See Them though except for kids

4. love interests in general or characters exclusively made to be love interests. whether its zelda or not im just not a fan though its more a personal thing.

5. i dont hate this more dislike it but bosses having one really easy tell. its just either not fun but you know what you need to go for or its fun but you know what you need to go for. i kind of wish they were done like lynels in botw- theyre Hard if you dont know what youre doing, but you Can after enough practice. also the great plateau lynel is great you cant do what you normally do with it you have to get headshots to stun it then go on its back to not take damage. figuring that out is not complex but shows you Know the game. i do understand bosses mimicking lynels in how they test the player is very hard to do especially how they can Keep testing the player

6. hyrule always being the best/greatest or just being. The Main Place or the main narrative being to defend hyrule. half of this is from the imperialism but half of the time im just tired of hyrule as a thing honestly. i dont serve any country not mine nor hyrule i simply game. i also dont know how prevalent this is in most games either so i may be biased here

i do wish i could think of. more lighthearted?? tropes for the above like neutral things like sages frequently appearing or certain items popping up but usually i dont care unless its done badly. totk is like that but the whole game is like that too so its an outlier to me, otherwise its just There.

onto things i like!

1. LENS OF TRUTH LENS OF TRUTH LENS OF TRUTH. i think its so neat :]

2. mail the concept of mail mailboxes and the no longer working tingle mail bottle feature in the ww

3. SONGS. MUSIC. the ocarina songs and them opening up places + certain songs being important generally like the ballad of the windfish

4. milk bars. im adding one to pre cal botw but i just like them !! especially the little songs that can play in there in albw

5. kakariko having graves for some reason. i do like graves in general but kakariko Specifically being the one to have them is interesting

6. dark worlds or other worlds. i especially like lorule!! termina is very cool too

id probably put more but i am. getting distracted by outside things. so for now that is it.

i finally did a ranking of genshin playable characters based on how much i like them lol. once again not in any order inside the cells. aether wasnt an option in this one but if he was i wouldve put him in s ♡

EHJEHENBS  okay.  this  is  probably  gonna  be  all  over  the  place  but  whatever so  my  lgbt  headcanons  for  komaeda  would  be  that  hes  gay  nonbinary  and  transfem  and  that  he  uses  he/she/they  +  dog  themed  neos.  like  pup/pups  or  paw/paws  probably  idk.  I  use  he/she  for  them  more  frequently  than  the  other  pronouns  because  i  forget  about  them  ODBHDFBJSJDNH  so  lets  just  pretend  its  a  preference.  when  it  comes  to  ships  i  think  everyone  who  knows  me  or  even  just  follows  me  probably  knows  that  i  feel  very  strongly  about  komahina.  i  also  ship  kamukoma  BUT  I'M  NORMAL  ABOUT  IT  I  SWEAR.  i  know  this  particular  ship  has  a  really  bad  reputation  because  of  how  90%  of  people  who  ship  it  make  it  out  to  be  like  this  really  sexual  and  even  abusive  relationship  even  thought  thats  like  heavily  out  of  character  for  both  of  them.  I  promise  im  not  one  of  those  people  but  i  understand  those  who  are  uncomfortable  with  the  pairing  even  if  portrayed  accurately  i  can  imagine  how  hard  it  is  to  separate  it  from  the  common  missconception  lol..  Either  way  i  still  like  komahina  a  lot  more.  but  there  arent  any  pairings  ((that  i  can  think  off))  with  komaeda  that  i  dislike  or  hate  other  than  the  ones  where  she's  shipped  with  women  or  with  naegi.  no  hate  to  the  people  that  ship  komaeda  and  naegi  but  i  think  it  would  go  really  wrong  VDBHNSB.  but  again  as  much  as  i  literally  cannot  visualize  anything  other  than  a  huge  failmarriage  involving  those  two  i  could  be  wrong  and  if  you  ship  them  continue  to  do  so  if  its  something  you  like  etc.  ANYWAY  for  other  headcanons  i  think  pup  has  autism  ocd  c-ptsd  and  i  cant  think  of  a  disorder  that  could  be  the  reason  for  pups  psychosis  so  you  think  of  one.  I  also  have  several  physical  disability  headcanons  for  him  like  albinism  and  a  coloboma  on  one  eye  (which  i  draw  pup  with),  blindness  (caused  by  the  two  things  i  said  before  probably)  and  chronic  fatigue  syndrome.  (<-  i  googled  it  and  it  says  its  a  disability  but  im  not  too  sure  ?  OAGHAHGS)  also  despite  the  fact  that  when  i  make  art  or  talk  about  dangan  im  referring  to  my  own  non  despair  au  bc  canon  sucks  i  still  draw  him  missing  an  arm  (sometimes  wearing  a  prosthetic  one)  because  Why  not  tbh.  might  as  well.  Well  ok  when  it  comes  to  my  opinion  towards  her  i  think  if  you  follow  me  you  can  tell  i  like  her  a  lot  LMFAO.  I  think  hes  really  cool  and  a  genuinely  really  unique  and  impactful  character.  it  makes  me  really  sad  how  many  people  misinterpret  them  despite  the  fact  that  there  are  very  few  things  that  are  up  to  interpretation  about  them  if  you  actually  pay  attention  to  what  they  do  and  say  having  in  mind  their  motivations.  TBH  i  dont  think  even  the  writers  themselves  are  aware  of  how  complex  the  character  they  made  really  is,  especially  while  they  were  writing  him.  I  think  thats  one  of  the  funniest  things  about  komaeda,  how  he  is  such  an  iconic  and  unique  character  with  so  much  to  discuss  and  analyze  and  all  of  that  was  made  completely  in  accident  and  it  would  likely  be  impossible  for  his  own  creators  to  make  another  character  like  that  without  them  being  a  direct  copy  of  him.  And  believe  me  i  can  tell  they  definitely  tried  to  do  so  after  seeing  how  popular  paw  was  and  failed  miserably  because  everyone  on  the  writing  team  sucks  im  assuming.  Okay  so  back  to  talking  about  komaeda  herself,  i  think  what  caused  all  of  her  delusions  about  hope  and  talent  and  stuff  like  that  were  various  factors.  She  is  used  to  a  life  in  which  no  matter  how  much  she  tries  she  never  succeeds  and  all  she  can  do  is  watch  everyone  die  around  her  and  just  take  in  the  horrible  things  that  constantly  happen  to  her.  So  obviously  that  sucks  a  lot  right.  So  he  would  obviously  need  an  explanation  to  why  all  of  that  is  happening.  and  thats  where  the  society  in  danganronpa  comes  in.  Everyone  there  values  talent  more  than  they  value  people  and  if  you  dont  have  a  talent  you  are  less  worthy  than  those  who  do  and  you  are  not  unique,  you  are  just  another  face  in  the  background.  So  as  you  would  guess  that  did  not  have  a  good  impact  on  komaeda.  That  belief  gives  them  a  reason  to  live  and  while  even  hinata  (who  subconciously  shares  it)  thinks  its  too  extreme,  it  is  constantly  enabled  by  things  like  how  admired  the  ultimates  are  all  around  the  world  just  for  their  talents,  how  hope's  peak  itself  is  considered  a  symbol  of  hope  and  you  can  only  get  in  if  youre  an  ultimate  or  a  reserve  course  and  if  you  are  the  latter  you  are  seen  as  inferior  as  the  main  course  students  by  them  and  probably  the  academy  itself).  Without  that  belief  komaeda  feels  like  theres  no  point  in  living  but  with  it  all  of  his  questions  are  answered.  its  sort  of  like  "why  does  all  of  this  happen  to  me"  --->  "because  i  have  no  talent,  therefore  no  worth  and  only  people  who  are  worthy  succeed"  "why  do  so  many  horrible  things  happen  to  everyone"  --->  "while  it  is  unfortunate  that  so  many  people  suffer,  it  is  for  a  better  cause.  hope  is  something  so  good  that  any  methods  used  for  the  sake  of  achieving  it  are  always  justified"  "why  do  i  keep  living  a  life  that  only  brings  me  pain"  --->  "because  the  reason  i  was  born  was  to  become  a  step  ladder  for  hope  and  dying  for  any  other  sake  would  be  completely  meaningless".  one  of  the  main  reasons  why  i  like  komahina  a  lot  more  than  other  hinata/komaeda  ships  is  because  in  their  arcs  both  komaeda  and  hinata  get  character  development  and  start  to  unlearn  that  mindset  and  i  dont  really  see  that  happening  in  any  other  ships  involving  komaeda  or  any  other  ships  involving  hinata.  They  both  go  against  eachother's  belief  and  yet  they  can't  stop  caring  about  the  other.  Their  feelings  ended  up  being  a  lot  stronger  than  what  they  were  brainwashed  into  thinking...  "love  wins",  as  they  say.  I  COULD  and  would  LOVE  to  go  on  but  i  hate  to  talk  this  much  in  public  despite  how  often  i  do  it  SBDHJDNDVB  thank  you  for  reading..

(i dont care to do c! tags bc theres. so many characters. if i dont say cc! then im talking abt the characters) normally i am not one to think much about the syndicate bc outside of ranboo being there to protect tubbo the syndicate Frustrates me a bit but. if phil starts to realize just how fucked over tubbo got by schlatt being erased from the narrative (and especially how shittily techno has treated tubbo) then i really hope they lean into like. the fact that the syndicate may soon turn into phil, niki, ranboo, and possibly the mystery member (im including mystery member mostly because i think tubbo is on good terms with almost everyone except like. dream, possibly wilbur but we'll see, and like the eggpire ppl but none of them are likely options but it is possible that the mystery member could just be neutral) all like. wanting tubbo to be safe and phil is *just* reasonable enough that i think he'd realize how unfair it is for tubbo to have been subjected to so much shit just for techno to introduce even more fear and the need to hide in his life

like phil already keeps the bee duo marriage and michael a secret, he lets tubbo come over and while of course its mostly from the semi lore vibes phil seems vaguely fond of tubbo already (i dont think phil and tubbo have father/son vibes tho, more just like. tubbo is just That Kid that adults cant help but adore even though the kid will rob them of house and home. slightly amused elder watching a tiny fucking gremlin make sex jokes and talk about soviet russia), niki from what i remember still cares about tubbo (probably because she cant redirect any anger towards him without realizing how unjustified it would be kcnsks she can come up with excuses for hating tommy but tubbo didnt do anything that niki has a problem with outside of her maybe having a bad view on butcher army if she knows about it?), ranboo is. ranboo. i dont need to clarify. and then like said theres a very low possibility of the fifth member *disliking* tubbo or being unable to sympathize with him.

people talk a lot about how techno needs to lose in a way that he cant easily come back from without introspection and i think while the rest of the syndicate standing up for tubbo would increase technos grudge against tubbo initially its also like. something that i think would maybe force techno to see tubbo as a person because now theres nothing techno can box (haha gettit. tubbox tubbo in a box tubbo getting boxed into certain roles by people who refuse to let him out techno esp doin this teehoo) tubbo into that wouldnt just. acknowledge that tubbo is a person. hes not apart of the government anymore, not planning any failed revolution, the most negative title to his name is being one of the nuke makers but even then thats out of fear and safety and techno knows that. otherwise tubbos current crimes are nothing thats special to tubbo (like. stealing and searching for evidence in ppls homes and stuff, the latter of which techno doesnr even know about). right now tubbos a husband, a father, a friend, a kid, *ex*-government, a person. and just.

i think that with how much foreshadowing about tubbos execution no longer being a secret amongst the witnesses and tubbo himself and soon being something that people close to techno like phil and ranboo know about as well (in that i want phil to learn that techno did it and for ranboo to learn about it in general bc hes just biased enough for tubbo and just smart enough that i think even if somehow he wasnt told who did it he could figure it out), and with the fact that tubbos lore has been confirmed to now be something thats actively going to be played into? i think (or at least hope) that it might spur phil and techno into finally seeing tubbos side of the story (and probably also get into the possibility of tubbo opening up to tommy and ranboo but i do think realistically either tubbo will try to play it off/not truly open up about how much its effected him or tubbo will at first shut down or go into complete repression mode, especially if phil and ranboo get the story from other people rather than tubbo himself [but god do i hope they confront tubbo himself]. either those two or tubbo talks about his emotions through fucking snapping at something/someone like he did at quackity when reminded of his execution, which as long as its Not tommy or ranboo ill absolutely be cheering on him for)

You know what since we’re still in quarantine and i have nothing else better to do, i need to obsess over ACOTAR. I don't like a court of frost and starlight. For the longest time I couldn't figure out why I didn't like it. I aggressively read the book in maybe a day and I closed it feeling frustrated and annoyed. My version had A Court of Silver Flames preview so that definitely contributed to my annoyance greatly.

It's because it felt too perfect. Everything that had happened -- after the entire war was fought and won, they just go back to their normal lives? Yes there were hiccups and yes there were still aspects that made every IC character feel like their problems aren’t solved yet...but it didnt feel right. yes i enjoyed the snowball fight between the bat boys, feyre + rhys sexy time, and those little comfort moments too, the slice of life type things and seeing feyre accomplishing her goals and how hopeful the future seems BUT its too fast. the good parts of the book did not offset the bad parts of it.

Feyre literally accomplished pretty much every single goal she made back in ACOMAF just like that?? within a span of what a few months? a year?? She really came back from an entire war -- probably the first war of many since she's immortal and just like that, after her 21st birthday: she gets a whole entire estate, wants to start poppin babies, opens her art studio and starts teaching kids and then acting like she can rule an entire court?? the timeline is sooo short esp since its been brought up over and over again how everyone is literally 500 years old and have a super “messy” history and their changes seems to come super dupe slowly. but feyre, who has only lived 0.000000002% of her fae life, is out here thriving just fine???

the war devastated thousands of illyrian soldiers where its changing the politics of the illyrains and the faes, all of whom feyre has responsibilities over too as high lady. the mortal queens are still at large who left the humans on prythian to die which is why feyre was willing to go to war in the first place! what about the rest of hybern and their land and residents?? they wanted to enslave humans for social and economical reasons! then what about integrating humans w deep hatred and fear with deeply prejudice fae??? there’s also spring and summer court who are literally in ruins. thats literally so much. so idk how feyre is just chillin???? she gonna let rhys do all the hard work???

like feyre sit down. u should not be having a baby. esp since it took u literally a 700 pages to heal from those 3 months UTM. ur telling me shes gonna whole heartedly bring in a newborn in a war devastated world, with civil unrest (illyrains, other courts), with the messiness of human and fae integration, with trauma u and rhys will have to continue to overcome esp after THIS war??? even helping ur sisters w their traumas??

this is a personal opinion on this subject (and maybe my thoughts will change on this later on; opened to other thoughts) but when i read the part about how that weaver/seamstress artist who made that dark quilt that feyre loved talked about how her mate of 300 years didn’t come back from the war and her biggest regret was that she didnt have a kid to remember him by i just thought ur kid isn’t some sort of memorabilia. don’t have a kid to keep the memory of ur mate alive; have a kid cuz u want a kid purely for the sake of having a kid. ur memories and photos and shit will keep their memory alive but its not having a kid. some primitive need to keep the genes alive maybe?? but the way it was phrased and then in turn how feyre was like oh i need  a baby pronto cuz rhys might die in the next war and regret not having a kid with him didn’t sit right with me. also the other couple were together for +300 years and have a rich life together, while shes been with rhys for literally two years THATS NOTHING IN FAE YEARS. thats still the honeymoon phase and also ur problems arent even close to being over!!!

everyone was shitty to nesta. in ACOMAF, we saw how much the IC went through and still did all they could to help feyre. what made them not think nesta deserve the same welcome? nesta is mean as a defense but did no one try to figure out what would help (amren got close but shes so under developed)??? feyre knows nesta feels too much and yet she continued to be shitty. continued to flaunt her wealth, her status, her familiarity/borderline know-it-all attitude about fae/night court, her ~estate~. forcing nest to the solstice party when nesta was literally like i dont belong, im looking at everyone through a window type of thing; the fire cracking triggering her, etc. what kind of power play was that when she made nesta come to her estate, where nesta could SEE how ~homey~ and how suscessful feyre is and fully see all the lovely paintings of everyone feyre loves that explicitly exclude her to tell her to fuck off to a war camp?? bro???? cas was a dick too and elaine was rude. i think a lot of his actions were meant to make her angry since anger keeps u fighting (as was the method of rhys for feyre in ACOMAF) but what he said was stupidly shitty and i demand that he apologize properly. elaine could have done more to help her sister but whatever. mor was definitely an ass too (and im upset for how little her character growth is). 

Lucein. that man can’t catch a break tbh. im happy that hes w the band of exiles cuz he is whole heartedly accepted there. feyre was definitely an asshole to him even tho he helped as much as he could throughout the books. he tries so hard w elaine as well and it did hit my heart a bit when she was like gloves to work in my garden?? no ?? i use my bare hands see oNly aZiReL sEeS mE fOr WhO i Am. and at the same feyre is like flaunting her mate status to lucein which is mean as shit. its like this man can’t find love in prythain. then tamlin sending him his box of his things??? thats for sure brutral. tam was literally his partner through it all; savior of sorts even. no love from IC, no love from elaine, no love from feyre, no love from tamlin, no love from autumn court rejected everywhere! also HIS TRUE FATHER?? HEllo??? 

then on tamlin. i pity the guy! was i suppose to feel that way??? it felt like he is allowed to get a redemption arc and maybe i’ll even root for a redemption arc??? i was absolutely excited for freysand in ACOMAF but after ACOFAS, im like tamlin is....not completely bad??? his relationship w feyre was bad and the controlling parts were very much a no-no. i dont truly understand the dynamics of an abusive relationship but i can understand that it can be insidious and its the little things that hurt the victim. and i felt  feyre through ACOMAF and rooted for her to escape her abuser! but then it felt like i dont think he was doing any of those things out of malice. ill say tamlin is a bad leader and doesn’t know how to run a court outside of what he sees his father do. his understanding on everything is based on the traditions of the past which i think fueled most of the things he did i.e. not telling feyre she was in danger since maybe his mom didn’t do those war planning things. ACOTAR showed how he truly cared/loved and took good care of feyre and her family. he even talked about how he didn’t believe in the enslavement of humans! i think that tam wanted to preserve what he thought was the good (aka feyre + her love of painting) and get back a sense of control that he and his entire court lost while chained to amarantha. but at the same time, i think he truly thought feyre wasn’t safe. he knows rhys can crush minds and knows feyre can’t read/write so when he got that letter telling him shes safe of course hes gonna flip shit and made a deal w the devil (although those temper outbursts were DEFINITIVELY not ok!!!). he also didn’t listen and has sense of he knows best when feyre was not the type of person. but feyre destroyed his entire court. he lost all his sentries who literally went out to die for him during amarantha’s reign. he lost lucien too; his trusted right hand man. his people were cursed for 50 years and then continued to suffer UTM and was in the process of rebuilding too!  but just seeing spring court, WHO BORDERS THE HUMANS, be in ruins where his subjects left him, his people left him and hes all alone in the manson?? that was sooo sad. so im like why does what feyre did not feel satisfactory????? im mad that it didn’t feel right??? maybe there wasn’t a point where feyre talked to tamlin -- like really talked to him esp w her new found voice and power, etc. anyways, i dont hate tamlin and was like oh shit i think feyre fucked up a bit there.

rhys is a dick to nesta. which made me think, if feyre wasn’t his mate would he extend the same love and care to her???  i loved how he tried so hard to make sure feyre was ok. made sure she wasn’t breaking! all of it! but for nesta, he had the audacity to use his high lord voice and be an ass overall. even tho he can see how cas is fucken in love??? even just how he talks to cass feels off too. 

i’ll even go as far as to say because of how terrible ACOFAS was, it created this intense divide within the fandom. i remember reading the first three books and was absolutely 1) rooting for freysand  2) curious about the sister relationship and how it will be mended 3) i definitely didn’t hate nesta nor did i hate elaine either -- but i was adament about them talking it out with feyre for those tough times 4) saw a more realistic and charming healing arc 5) was rooting for feyre to be a stronger voice and grow into herself 6) love the dynamic of the inner circle + feyre

but after ACOFAS, I have this intense need to defend nesta and was super mad at how she was treated after the war and in turn a deep dislike for elaine for both her lack of agency, lack of grit that made all the other characters interesting, and lack of care for her sisters (who showed how much they would risk for her). i dont hate rhys but i was extremely not happy with him and his attitude and behavior. feyre became more arrogant and was acting like how asshole rhysand would act. like her life is perfect now and i was not rooting for her anymore. freysand didn’t feel like they have complimenting qualities that made them interesting in the first place but rather they are merging to become the same person but in a bad way. that mind reading thing was cute in the beginning but it became insufferable since all thoughts were shared so seamlessly it made reading feel weird. 

anyways those are my thoughts on ACOFAS. it was a 1/5 stars for me and im mad those events transpired. reading the other books made me excited to know what was gonna happen and i was truly ready to accept the characters as flawed and nuanced as they are. im not mad about character not liking each other but i am mad that everything felt off. ACOFAS just felt regressive in some parts and forced in other parts. i know not everything ends in a nice tied up bow but this book single handily ruined what i thought about these characters in the worse way possible. this book wasn’t suppose to wrap up all the problems that exists in the other books but it didn’t feel hopeful like i thought it would. it didn’t feel wrapped up and didn’t feel like i should be excited about the next books. theres so many missing pieces i feel that i think need explaining and at the same time, i think it introduced too many problems at once which made it feel like its jumping around everywhere. although im still excited for ACOSF because i love nesta, and nesta deserves so much better and i want to have hope that this bad ending will either make sense later on or it was just a blimp.

Your favorite FMA AU? i love the various time travel fix-it fics on ao3 where ed goes back in time and fixes everything, but my hands-down all-time favorite fma au ever has to be the meaning of hyacinths by @starryeyed-char! (shoutout!) it's an au where hughes lives and roy "dies" instead of him and the writing is so EXQUISITE i cannot express to you in enough words how amazing and incredible this series is. it is absolutely a must-read. caveat that it's still being written and currently has eight parts, but the author plans to take it all the way to the promised day so just be patient for the next installments!!

Shine: Ehhhh. I dont really know why but the vibes were all off, somehow. The fact that really dislike Jaune (and as an extension, Arkos) doesn't help either.

Forever Fall: This song was 5 minutes long and it felt like 20

Brand New Day: I barely even registered that

Fear: not the worst

Lets Get Real: Either Im too tired or the songs are getting worse

War: Im ranking this one higher because it wasnt over 4 minutes

Bmblb: All the love songs are so generic

Dream Come True: Im listening to all these songs in the form of Lyric Videos and the art used in this one made me think 'Oh, a Jaune Song... Great. Well, maybe we'll get Jaune pining after Phyrrah now! Yknow, to balance it out. A cute lil song of him pining for a nice girl might me like him a bit more!' and guess what. It wasnt that. It was another Arkos Song from Phyrrahs perspective. AND this one had unnecessary Girl-Hate towards Weiss! For no reason! The only reason its above Shine is because they atleast got the vibes right this time.

Not Fall In Love With You: I think Im just not a big fan of the love songs.

Boop: It was pretty cute but nothing to write home about

Until The End: slow piano

Touch The Sky: Its not that bad, its just that Im tired and this song is too goddamn long

This Time (From Shadows II): A just fine song for a shitty arc

I Burn: I liked fine, until they started rapping.

Like Morning Follows Night: I thought this was gonna be one of the better love songs, then he started rapping.

Smile: All this does is make me question how Ilia was in the wrong even more. Sounded alright though.

The Triumph: Eh, pretty unremarkable opening for an unremarkable volume

This Will Be The Day: A very promising start! There's honestly not much to say here

From Shadows: It was fine. I liked the overall sound but the lyrics and the singing are just a bit too edgy for me.

Bad Luck Charm: Someone in the comments under the lyrics video said "looks like someone found his middleschool poetry" and honestly, yeah.

I May Fall: Hey, yknow how the FoB was apparently meant to happen in Volume 1? Yeah. Overall, I thought it was pretty alright. (You can probably already tell that Im not too big of a fan of the louder, more energetic songs so far.....

Trust Love: This is by no means a problem I have with only this song, but I hate how theyre all like "oh this isnt some FaIrYtAlE kid, this is real n dark n shit" as if RWBY isnt the least dark and least subversive story Ive seen in recent time

Rising: Alright but unremarkable

Miracle: Another alright but unremarkable one. At this point I feel like listening to these songs is frying my brain

Ignite: I was just gonna say its an alright Yang Song but that rap...

Big Metal Shoe: I can appreciate some fairy tale references

Gold: The chorus got a bit repetitive but I thought it was pretty cute

Home: Another cute lil family song! This one was kinda long though

Lionized: I really appreciate the vibe of this song

All Our Days: Adorable! I didnt really expect a Taiyang Song but this was pretty nice

Sacrifice: Not really much go say about this one, I thought it was fine

Neon: I feel like I just got aggressively flexed on in the nicest, yet most condescending way possible

Lusus Naturae: Very edgy, but in a way that I can appreciate more

Red Like Roses I: I really like the sound of this one! I kinda wish we had more lyrics, but this was the song used in the Red Trailer so Im assuming it was made to compliment the action more than anything. At the start and end there was this series of notes, that Im assuming is gonna be the Leitmotiv? Either way, Im curious how theyll use it

All Things Must Die: I feel like this song is definitely at its best during the slower bits

Lets Just Live: First of all, I cant believe they live-laugh-loved us. They kept mentioning like, stories and how 'this isnt your TYPICAL fairytale', I could practically feel the writers being like "Huh, huuuuuuuh? Arent we CLEVER? Yes we are, yes we are!" But other than it was mostly fine. A bit long, maybe.

Armed And Ready: Pretty alright Yang Song, I felt like it was just a bit too long

It's My Turn: Not much to say, I thought it was a fine Weiss Song

Nevermore: I think its good

Wings: I really enjoyed this song! Caseys voice is lovely and I think its a very good Blake Song

Indomitable: I liked this one, but I feel like its mainly because the line "the spirit is indomitable" reminds of Flame from VRAINS

When It Falls: This song is trying very hard to convince you that RWBY is Dark Now. And given that Im pretty sure this is V3s opening, I guess it fits. Oh well, it still sounded pretty nice.

One Thing: A real slappin song thats going straight to my YGO-playlist as well

All That Matters: Very neat song about Yang's conflicting feelings on Blake's return. Shame theyre literally not conveyed at all in the show.

Die: Very agressive title, but okay. I also enjoyed this one, who wouldve guessed. I love this whole vibe of Desperate Heroism In A World In Ruin, yknow? Its there in Time To Say Goodbye and Red Like Roses II (two of my favourite songs so far) too. Though it is quite dissapointing that the show never really matched it.

Hero: I dont get how people can look at this and go "yeah, Ironwood was clearly always a tyrant who never even remotely cared for others". Also Caleb Hyles my beloved

Time To Say Goodbye: Another very nice song! I also think the foreshadowing in the third verse (yknow the slow one) was quite well done. The only real issue is, that the plot point its foreshadowing is stupid as hell

The Path To Isolation: Why is Weiss a better character in her songs?

Divide: This song is trying very hard to convince you that RWBY is Dark Now pt 2. It is a banger though, so its fine.

Mirror Mirror: Funfact: This was technically the first RWBY-Thing Ive ever consumed! A Youtuber named Strawbelly made a german cover of this song (and the songs from the other trailers, I believe) and it was one of my favourites for a while. Ive also already listened to some of Weiss' other songs and I remember enjoying them too. I can definitely already tell that I prefer Caseys voice in the slower songs, so I really hope this keeps up

This Life Is Mine: Yoooooooooo, Caseys voice was amazing in this one(especially at the very start)! This is one of the Weiss Songs I listened to before I even watched RWBY and what can I say, I loved it back then and I love it now

I'm The One: Oh, this was absolutely lovely. For the first few seconds I thought I wouldnt like this one, but its a banger! I love the lyrics too, theyre very clever I think

Red Like Roses II: DUDE, I adored this! I did not expect there to be lyrics for Summer at all and I was so pleasently surprised! Sandra's voice was lovely, and I really hope I'll get to hear her again. But on a slightly more negative note, I feel like this is really where the whole 'RWBYs Songs Characterize The Protagonists In A More Compelling Way Than The Show Does'-Problem starts.

🍄 What are your OCs favourite snacks? Their favourite comfort food which always cheers them up when they’re down? Favourite meal to make? Do they enjoy baking and cooking and are they any good in the kitchen? for both snacks and comfort food, muffins. especially blueberry muffins as for a meal to make, shes not really a cook tbh? if she has to cook, she prefers to make something simple and easy that doesnt require a lot of assembly, due to time and a space being an issue (staying in hotels a lot and having a busy schedule, plus her apartment doesnt have a big kitchen so yeah), and honestly lynn wouldnt really consider herself being too good in the kitchen. shes definitely better with baking than with cooking, but both of them are things she rarely does tho

What tiny little treasures do they find in the normal every day that makes the world seem a little brighter for them? for her its mostly about the sounds? she likes listening to stuff in the nature, like the wind in the trees and birds singing (ironically enough tho she dislikes rain which is like. one of the best nature sounds tho lmao), little critters in the bushes, waves against the shore, all sort of natural sounds. tho that also works for people, she loves hearing people especially sing and laugh, and she could listen to her favorite people talk for ages. ..also accents. as hers is kinda faded, she loves to listen to people with stronger accents as for tiny things, like. when she sees people doing little nice gestures for one another? it can be something as small as seeing strangers smile to one another on the street, holding doors open for others, just giving compliments, that kind of stuff. ..also dogs. dogs make everything instantly better for her lmao

💐 How does your OC handle being unwell or forced to rest in bed? Who cares for them and in what ways? Does your OC enjoy being doted on or are they a terrible patient? Reversed: is your OC good at taking care of others who are ill or in need? oh shes the absolute worst about that, lmao what is rest? dont know her. she hates to rely on other people, especially since she rarely gets sick enough to be bedridden, but usually if that happens she really is in a condition where she cant do anything herself so she has to be helped to get like food and water and such. in that case its usually either tyler or any of the potential significant others, depending on where we are on the timeline and which timeline we are on lol as for taking care of others, yeah shes one of those ppl who has to make sure everything is always good with others and that she can offer any possible help that she can to anyone who needs it, be it them being sick or just needing help with anything at all. honestly its mostly cause lynn has known struggle enough in her life that she doesnt want anyone else to get even close to scratching that bottom if it can in any way be helped
